"Yusei, do you think everyone else is safe?" Akiza asked nervously. "After everything we've seen I just have a really bad feeling."
"I know Akiza, but all we can do is wait and see what's going on when we get there." Yusei said. "Still, that last explosion enveloped nearly half of New Domino City. If the Emerald Eagle caused it, things could be a lot worse."
After Yusei said that Red Dragon Archfiend, Black-Winged Dragon, and Life Stream Dragon appeared in front of the two former signers.
"What's going, on?" Akiza asked. "Why are our friends dragons here?"
"Not just that, where's the Ancient Fairy Dragon?" Yusei asked nervously.
"Dead, they all fell to the Emerald Eagle." the Red Dragon Archfiend said angrily. "Signer, dark signer, it didn't make any difference."
"Wait, everyone is dead but us?" Akiza asked nervously. "That can't be true. They can't be dead."
"She's right, they have to be alive, we would know if anything happened to our friends." Yusei said. "They can't be dead."
"I'm sorry, we tried everything that we could to defeat him." the Life Stream Dragon said. "Even resorting to combining Red Dragon Archfiend's strength with that of one of the Earthbound Immortals, but even that wasn't enough."
"That's why the two of you need to be extremely careful, he's far more powerful than anything else you've encountered." the Black-Winged Dragon said quietly. "Do not separate under any circumstances."
The moment the Black-Winged Dragon said that, the three dragons vanished.
"This can't be real, it has to be some kind of nightmare." Akiza said. "It has to be."
"I know how you feel Akiza, but it isn't." Yusei said before wrapping his arms around Akiza. "I know that things look bad, but I promise I won't let anything happen to you."
"Yusei, thanks." Akiza said quietly.
"I mean it Akiza, no matter what happens I'll make sure you're safe." Yusei said. "I love you."
"I love you too Yusei, and you're right, we just need to stay together." Akiza said with a small smile.
The moment Akiza said that, her limiter began to faintly glow.
"I know it's not what we planned a week ago, but today was supposed to be our wedding and despite everything that's happened there's still one thing we can do." Yusei said softly.
"You're right Yusei, I think the same thing." Akiza said with a smile.
With those words the two former signers turned and gently kissed each other.
No, I won't allow this farce to go on any longer, he'd done nothing but ruin my life. It's time I finally got my revenge.
Suddenly Akiza grabbed her head in agony and started screaming.
"Akiza, what's wrong?" Yusei asked nervously. "Let me help you."
"Yusei Fudo, this is your fault." Akiza said viciously. "If you hadn't interfered all those years ago he would have still been alive. Now you think I'll marry a murderer like you, I would sooner die."
"Akiza, what are you talking about?" Yusei asked. "This isn't you."
"You have no right to call me that." Akiza said angrily. "As far as you are concerned I am a member of the Arcadia Movement, the Black Rose."
The moment the Black Rose said that, a concentrated blast of wind sent Yusei crashing into the side of a building.
"What's going on, we ended the curse of the Black Rose." Yusei said weakly.
"No, all you did was brainwash me and let Misty Tredwell murder Sayer." the Black Rose said angrily. "You don't deserve to die and join him, I have something far more fitting for you."
"Akiza, snap out of it." Yusei said just before he crashed into the building again and lost consciousness.

"Get up, you need to see this Yusei Fudo." the Black Rose said cruelly.
"What, where are we?" Yusei asked weakly.
"You should recognize this place, it's where you caused him to die, and where I will finally rejoin the one man I truly love." the Black Rose said. "Now watch, as your precious Akiza perishes before your eyes. I summon to the field, my Black Rose Dragon."
"Wait, what are you doing?" Yusei asked as the Black Rose Dragon began to glow and vines began rising from the ground and surround the Black Rose.
"I'm ending my own life in order to rejoin Sayer, just as I should have done years ago." the Black Rose said coldly. "Oh I almost forgot, this wretched necklace you gave her as a gift."
"I gave that to you because I love you Akiza, You know that." Yusei said.
"In that case you can have this miserable necklace back, I don't need it." the Black Rose said throwing the Rose Necklace to the ground in front of Yusei. "Now, it's time for me to finally rejoin the man who gave me a place in the world."
"Stop, don't do this Akiza." Yusei said as the vines began to encircle the Black Rose.
"It's impossible to stop now, all that's left is for me to perish." the Black Rose said coldly.
"You don't have to do this, there's another option." Yusei said desperately as the vines continued wrapping around the Black Rose. "This isn't you Akiza."
"You can't let it go can you?" the Black Rose asked. "Fine, if it means that much to you I'll let you have your final farewell."
With those words the Black Rose began to glow.
"Yusei, what's going on?" Akiza asked nervously.
"Akiza, you need to stop the Black Rose Dragon." Yusei said quickly.
"I can't, I don't have control over it anymore." Akiza said fearfully. "Yusei help me."
"Akiza, grab my hand." Yusei said urgently.
As Yusei said that, the vines completely encased Akiza, cutting off her oxygen and ending her life.
"No, this can't be happening." he said in disbelief. "Akiza!"
The moment he shouted that, a green glow appeared around Yusei before erupting outward in all directions, turning the entire world into a barren wasteland cluttered with debris.
(The Black Rose returned just long enough to commit suicide in front of Yusei, and after seeing his fiancée's demise he destroyed the world himself. Next chapter the final human on earth will die. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
