You may notice a theme for this chapter, and that is for a very specific reason... Let's just say that this is how I get revenge. Instead of doing things to people in real life, I humiliate them on the internet without their knowledge. Crazy, this one's for you!
Crazy's P.O.V.
After talking to Sky's friends and accidently elbowing Compass instead of Raven, the three of us decided to head back to the tent. Raven and I were having a heated debate on whether she should talk to Sky again or not.
"Oh come on, you need to learn to grow up! Giving people the silent treatment isn't going to get your point across!"
"I am acting like a grown up. We were always taught that if we don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all."
"Honestly, it'd be better for you to cuss him out and get it over with rather than not talking to him for a long time!"
"So you're saying I should act like a child?"
"UGH! Why are you so impossible?!"
"All I'm saying is that if he wised up and realized-" she stopped suddenly. I looked at her, then looked at what she was seeing, and froze. It was Mr. Enderman, with another girl. I relaxed for a second, realizing that just because he's talking to another girl, doesn't mean anything's going on between them. And then immediately froze as he kissed her on the cheek. I felt a small lump grow in my throat and looked away. I focused on Compass and Raven instead, and saw their faces looking the angriest I'd ever seen them. I heard footsteps and knew the girl was walking away. I looked back at Mr. Enderman, and saw him watching her leave. He turned around and froze as he saw us.
"Oh, um, you're back! Great! I've missed you," he said, walking towards me. I instinctively took a step back, and I could tell he knew I'd seen what had just happened. "Um, sorry?" he said meekly. I just shook my head.
"Psst." He turned to Raven, who had made the whisper. She gestured for him to come closer, like she was going to tell him a secret. He got closer and closer, until his face was close to her. She took a deep breath, and just as it looked like she was going to tell him something, there was a flash, a loud crack, and his head was suddenly several inches away and his nose was bleeding. "That's what happens when you mess with my sister." He held his hand up to his nose, and I could tell that his nose was broken from the awkward angle it was at. She stalking away with Compass, and I followed suit. Now that Raven had her revenge, it was Compass and I's turn. We had a policy where if one of us was messed with, everyone would get their revenge on whoever hurt them. Raven's wasn't unexpected. She almost always broke the person's nose. Except for Garroth, but she broke his jaw and it was her first revenge. Compass and I barely knew her then, so we didn't get revenge on him. As we walked away, I wondered what Compass' would be. I already knew mine, since I had always planned mine far in advance just in case of an emergency. But in order to do it, I'd have to wait until tomorrow.
~Time skip to the next morning~
I waited in the dining hall with Raven and Compass for a certain someone to enter. It took almost half an hour, but it was worth the wait when I saw what Compass had done.
"I love the hair," said Raven through her laughter. I joined in. Compass had gone the hair dye route and given him bright pink locks with streaks of some gross green color.
"How did you manage to not wake him up during the dye job?" I asked. He grinned mischievously.
"Sheer will." I raised my eyebrows. "And maybe a thick potion with some blaze powder," he said. I smiled. When we were kids we had found Father's secret potions room and enjoyed experimenting, coming up with several different concoctions. Many believed that a thick potion with blaze powder did nothing, but that's when you added only one bit of powder. If you added TWO bits however, you would get a very potent sleeping potion. We always tested them on each other, and after drinking a whole glass bottle full, Raven didn't wake up for a week.
"How much did you use?" I asked.
"Two drops. I thought it would be enough." I nodded. We all watched as he sat down and piled up his plate. A Recruit I had given a few butter ingots to walked up to him and began talking to him. I quickly ran over and nonchalantly walked by, dropping some powder in his food as I did so. I sat back down and waited for the fun to begin.
"What did you do?" Raven asked. I grinned.
"You'll see." At that point the Recruit left and Mr. Enderman turned back to his food. He took a bite, and I swear I could see the steam come from his ears
