Love Like No Other 21:

*I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. I want to thank my beta reader mcangel1976. Thank you very much, cause without you this story might not be as good as it is.

P.S. PLEASE REVIEW! :D

As the contraction came to an end, her grip loosened on my hand, and pain was in replacement of Haruhi's hand, pain as the blood began to circulate again. I looked at my hand, that was purple now as the blood circulated. Haruhi looked at my hand, and looked at me. "I'm sorry honey. I really am." I shook my head.

"No, it's alright. It wasn't your fault."

"That's right Haruhi dear," Ranka said. "It's not your fault. This is natural, your mother was the same way... except your mother... was a lot meaner during labor than you are." Haruhi laughed a little, and looked towards the door when the doctor came in.

Everyone left the room, due to the request of Haruhi and I, and when the doctor checked her, she said it was time for delivery. And the joy I felt at this moment, could surpass the heights of the Himalayas.

As we were being set up for delivery, we looked at each other, smiling. The excitement I felt, was so extraordinary. I used to never be this happy, but to be honest, once Haruhi came in to my life... my... personality was beginning to change a little for the better.

At the moment, we were now in the delivery room, as the doctors prepared and soon everything was ready to go. Of course there was nervousness of this moment, such as if Haruhi would be ok through the time of delivery, and would the children be ok?

As I thought about this, Haruhi was set up now, and her feet were positioned by stirrups. I looked around at the scene, and smiled it myself, we were so close to being parents now. I took her hand in mine and kissed her cheek, whispering, "I love you," to her as the doctor instructed her to push. At this point, her politeness was somewhat out the window. She said damn sometimes, especially during her first push.

"It's ok Haruhi, you can do it!" I encouraged her, wiping the sweat off of her forehead and holding her hand in mine as she fought her hardest to bring our children into the world. "Haruhi, you can do it. Honey, you can do it!" In a relaxing tone, I said into her ear.

After about ten minutes, I heard the doctor say, "Mrs. Ootori, we are really close now. Ok, a couple more times and baby A should be here." Dr. Souma informed us. I smiled widely, looking Haruhi in the eyes as she weakly smiled at me. Grabbing a napkin, I quickly wiped the sheen of sweat from her forehead and kissed her temple, once again taking her hand in mine.

"Come on Haruhi, you can do this, I believe you can." I said, "Bring our children into the world." I whisper into her ear. She nodded her head, and with one, longer, agonizing push, I heard a faint cry, as it got louder. In that moment, I couldn't explain the warm that formed in my body, warming my entire body. The pride I felt now... was something I couldn't ever explain. It felt as if I was renewed, like nothing much mattered That's when Dr. Souma began helping Haruhi deliver our second child.

It didn't take a lot of time before we heard the second set of child wails. At that moment, all of my emotions went free. As soon as it was ok, I immediately pulled Haruhi into my arms kissing her forehead, cheek, and lips. "Great job honey." I said to her, my voice overloaded with joy. A sigh of relief left Haruhi's lips, and it was good to see her finally relax.

"I want to see them." Haruhi said. I took her hand in mine and kissed the back of her hand.

"They are over there with the doctors, they will be in your hands in a moment." I assured her, and as promised one by one our twins were brought to us.

"Congratulations Dr. and Mrs. Ootori. You have given birth to two very beautiful babies, One a boy, and one a girl." I looked at the different colors of the blankets, I assumed the girl was in the pink blanket, and the boy was in blue, which I was right about. The feelings of warmth that surrounded us, was... something that I can't possibly describe. I was a daddy, Haruhi was a mommy... it was shocking to hear it, but it was great to hear none the less. Our little boy had my steel gray eyes, and my pale complexion. Our little girl had Haruhi's eyes, and my pale complexion as well.

"What should we name them?" I asked Haruhi.

"What about those names we decided on months ago?" She suggested, I nodded with a smile.

"So our little boy is now Mamoru and our little girl is Sutera. They are beautiful, and the names match them well."

It wasn't until much later that I handed Haruhi both of our babies, to go inform the family. As I walked towards the door, I looked back over as Haruhi smiled at the children, talked to them saying, "Welcome," "I love you," "You're so beautiful." And some other things, kissing them on their cheeks, or foreheads. I smiled as I exited. I only hoped I could be that close to them, and I would do so, as soon as I got back into that room. I looked at my watch quickly to see that it was now four in the morning. I wanted to apologize for everyone staying so late, but when I arrived in the waiting room, none of them seemed the be tired at all. So when they spotted me, they literally almost fell out of their seats.

"What's going on Kyoya?" Tamaki asked. I smiled brightly, for the first time showing all of my emotions to everyone. I couldn't help myself, my emotional barrier was completely gone now.

"Haruhi, is now resting, the twins are born, one boy named Mamoru, and one girl named Sutera." I said triumphantly. Everyone's faces had complete smiles on them as we all calmly, but in a hurried fashion went towards the room.

When we entered, Haruhi turned her head to the side, smiling at us. I could see how exhausted she was, everyone could, but that didn't stop Haruhi from wanting to be awake longer. It was then that I noticed our little girl was crying. Haruhi looked down at her and kissed her cheek, "What's wrong baby?" She asked as if the baby understood. I walked closer, and sat down in the chair for a moment, and I held out my arms for our baby Sutera. Haruhi nodded, and I gently and carefully picked her up, swaddling her in my arms. What happened next, shocked me beyond belief, as soon as I had Sutera in my arms, cradling her close to my chest, her crying ceased. I looked at Haruhi and she smiled at me. "I guess we got ourselves a daddy's girl." I chuckled and continued to gaze at the little girl in my hands, giving her my index finger to play with.

It was then that my father, mother, two brothers, and my brother-in-law arrived and were in the room. They all walked towards the bed, smiling, even my father was. My mother was going into crying hysterics, my brother smiled along with my father, and my brother-in-law held my sister as they both smiled widely. I felt like my life had gone in the right direction finally.

In that hour everyone got to hold the children, each having a smile on their face.

And from here on out, everything was as it should be. We were able to go home two days after the delivery, and as we got home, our children had fallen asleep in the back of the limo with Haruhi and I, so when we arrived home, we carefully laid them down, while I led Haruhi towards our room. I helped her lay down and pulled the baby monitor out from our nightstand drawer. Now able to listen for something, a cry, a giggle, a coo, and they were the best sounds we ever heard.

My life had made a change for the better, I met Haruhi, an amazing woman whom I love with all my heart, and made children together, who were the most beautiful beings of all. I couldn't have asked for better. Honestly, this life made me happy, one of the happiest men on earth, and no one could seize that happiness even if they tried.

Haruhi and I's love, was definitely a Love Like No Other.

Hey my amazing readers and reviewers! I hope you liked the story and I have more to come. Actually I am doing a set of stories like this of what it would be like if Haruhi was with Kyoya, Arai, Kasanoda, Honey, Mori, Hikaru, or Kaoru. So, if you would like, suggest which couple pairing I should write about next.

Thanks to all who read this story, and reviewed, favorited, and/or followed this story. You all are what make me continue to write.

Luv you all!
