Welcome back all and thank you for your patience it has been really bumpy but im pushing through to give this fic the ending it deserves and because of that I am left updating later then usual so please do bear with me!

Wellsie set her coffee mug down beside her laptop as Anna fell into her seat with a bowl of cereal, they shared a look before both glancing at Elsa's empty chair. It had been two days since the finals and the blonde had barely showed her face. The woman in Wellsie knew that she should allow the girl her space and time but the parent in her was ready to put the boot down. Looking up as Anna grabbed the remote and turned on the television she released a long sigh.

"…and speaking of insult to injury, after coming back from his horrible fall and rising through the ranks to once again come within arms reach of qualifiers and have it ripped away, Jack 'Frost' Overland is left out in the cold. His partner champion singles and doubles skater Elsa Arendelle had a break down on the ice at the finals. Talk about embarrassing, what's your take Harvey?", the news caster turned to his partner who just shrugged.

"You got me Phil-", Anna shut the t.v. off and slammed down the remote on the table.

"Hey easy on the hardware!", she yelled, making the teen jump.

"Sorry-but did you hear what they said?".

"There's nothing we can do about what they say Anna", another sigh left her as her niece played with her cereal.

"Whatever….doesn't mean I have to like it or listen to it".

The soft jingle of wind chimes and the skitter of vibrations brought Elsa out of the land of dreams as she reached over to her bedside table and grabbed her cell phone. One look at the screen made her bite her bottom lip as a picture of Jack stuck within her phone greeted her, hitting the cancel button she whimpered and curled back under her covers. She had messed everything up….again.

The sound of soft knocking on her bedroom door made her peek her head out once again to look at the door. She had holed her self up the minute they had returned home from the finals and hadn't spoken to anyone. Wellsie had brought in food but Elsa's appetite had seemed to have left her completely. Another knock redirected her thoughts back to the present.

"Elsa? I know your in there…..everyone is really worried', there was a pause and Elsa could tell by the softness in Anna's voice that she was sad, 'You know Im here for you…..if you ever need someone. We could-".

"Just go away Anna", she heard her self say the words and a moment of regret passed through her thoughts as she reached out for the door but stopped her self.

"Ok….bye", the foot steps of her sister leaving the door made her panic as she tried to untangle the sheets from around her. Her mother had left her and her father had left her, she couldn't lose Anna too.

"Anna wait!", tumbling to the floor she hissed in pain but looked up as Anna opened her door and looked down at her. "Im sorry Anna", her voice cracked as a sob clawed up her throat.

"Elsa", the sadness in her sister's voice made her look down at her floor.

"Don't leave me alone", the tears were falling freely now as she heard Anna approach her.

"You're never alone Elsa", sitting up to lean back against her bed Elsa watched Anna sink down beside her. "But shutting people out when your scared or hurt is definitely a way to end up all alone", the comfort in Anna's voice helped her to calm down.

"I cant see him…not after what I did to him", she pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.

"It wasn't your fault Elsa, what Hans did was unforgivable. I really thought Jack was going to kill him right there in the lobby", this caught her attention.

"What happened?", Anna sighed.

"Coach Hare….he held Jack back so he didn't do anything that would effect his future', she paused for a brief moment, 'He wants to see you-".

"I cant Anna…..I just cant".

Gripping the steering wheel in his hands Jack drove with a reckless abandoned fueled by alcohol and stupidity. Finally reaching his destination or as close as he deemed necessary he attempted to pull the vehicle over smoothly but smoothly in his current state resulted in the Jeep going up over the curb. Putting it in park he lifted his arms above his head in triumph.

"Im an idiot!", he yelled with an angered laugh.

Kicking open his door he tried to keep his balance while walking across the street to his desired location, Wellsie's house. Moving over the darkened lawn he couldn't help the ridiculous laugh that rose from his chest at the stupidity of his actions. His thoughts raced and changed as if put in a maze, an unfortunate effect of the alcohol. Once around the house he looked up to the one window he knew so well from past nights of sneaking in it to see her. His Elsa.

Pulling out his phone he scrolled through the contacts and located her name without pause. As the ringing filled the quite night air he watched as the light came on in her room. Hope filled his heart as he pressed the phone to his ear and waited. And then to his surprise the ringing ceased and he couldn't help but fall to his knees as her sleepy voice came through the ear piece.

"Hi", she sounded tired and so sad.

"Hello beautiful", a hiccup left him and he chuckled, the whole situation just to funny.

"Jack? Are you alright?", he shook his head as if she could see him.

"Yea-no", he rolled his eyes at his answer.

"Jack?", she sounded worried.

"Hey did you know that your lawn chairs recline so you can lay flat?", he chuckled as he looked up at the stars.

"Wait-what?", he could hear her moving around and glanced up at her window as she pulled back the curtains. Throwing a hand up he waived enthusiastically. The sudden look of shock on her face made him chuckle while she opened the windows and leaned out. Pulling the phone away from his ear he put up one finger and smiled.

"Hold on im on the phone", he attempted to yell and whisper at the same time and the look of shock on her face turned to one of confusion. "Hey beautiful im back….sooo what are you doing?".

"Are you drunk?", he shrugged but then nodded.

"I miss you", his mind seemed to make decisions for him as he dropped his phone and started for the trellis that he had used dozens of times to climb up to her window.

"Are you crazy?", he looked up at Elsa as she looked down at him.

"Hey this is kinda like that Shakesdagger play", he started up the pegs with an unsteady pace.

"You mean Shakespeare?", she corrected.

"Yeah, you're my uhh Juliet!", he laughed and looked around before grabbing a flower that was growing on the vines. As he drew closer to her window sill he lifted it towards her with a lopsided grin. "Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet?", the look he received was one stuck between laughter and concern.

"That is a morning glory", he pulled the flower back and looked at it closely, with a shrug he tossed it and stepped over onto the sill.

"Watch out this is not going to be pretty", she did as he asked. But as Jack tried to maneuver into the room he lost his balance and cursed under his breath as he started backwards.

The sudden pull on his shirt made his direction change as he fell into Elsa, both toppling to the floor. With a groan Jack lifted his weight onto his hands and knees so he didn't crush her beneath him

"Why are you drunk Jack?", her question, her voice almost cut through the giddy haze and pulled his more rational thought to the forefront.

"Don't know…was a better idea then hunting down Hans", he watched as she winced at the sound of her ex-partner's name.

"We should get you into bed", Elsa rose slightly onto her elbows and Jack couldn't help himself as he dipped down and claimed her lips. The kiss had a roughness to it that made Jack groan and cut it short with a growl.

"I'd like to get into bed with you but I wouldn't be much of a gentleman", his words mixed with a chuckle as he looked down at her swollen lips.

"Maybe I don't want a gentleman", it was his turn to look shocked as her response made his body jerk.

"Baby I can be a villain but never with you", getting to his feet proved to be a daunting task but once he mastered standing straight he reached down to help Elsa to her feet.

"How can you be so kind to me after what I cost you?", she turned away and walked towards her bed.

"Because I love you", she turned to face him.

"You love me?", she wrapped her arms around her self and watched him with tear filled eyes.

"More then anything…to hell with qualifiers and skating, I just want you", his words seemed to be what she needed cause the next thing he knew she was in his arms and holding on tight.

"I love you too you goof", he smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Mind if I spend the night, I really shouldn't drive", he could feel her head nod beneath his chin as her arms tightened around him.

"As long as you let me cuddle", a chuckle left him as she laughed.

"Sounds fair", stepping out of her arms he tore off his t-shirt and started on his belt.

"Easy chip'n'dales, no nudity", she giggled and walked back to her bed.

"Ill leave on my boxers", he smirked and stepped out of his pants. With the graceful movements comparable to a three legged horse Jack managed to get off his socks before he collapsed onto Elsa's mattress with a huff. Adjusting himself so he could slip beneath the covers he watched as Elsa turned off the bed side lamp and settled back against the mountain of pillows at the head of her bed.

"Do you need a trash can over there?", he groaned and shook his head.

"No what I need is', he trailed off and pulled her to him so she rested tucked into his side, 'Perfect".

"Good night Jack", she whispered.

"G'night Elsa".

"ELSA! ELSA WAKE UP!", the loud pounding on her door made the blonde jolt awake.

"Anna? What's-", her door flew open as Anna raced in and jumped onto her bed.

"You wont believ-Oh my god!", as Anna landed on the bed Jack shot up with a groan from her landing ungracefully on a tender spot.

"Jack!", Elsa gasped.

"Anna", he growled while curling in on himself.

"Elsa!", she reached out to catch Anna who toppled off the side of the bed.

"What is going on up there?", Wellsie called from downstairs. Before Anna could yell out Elsa slapped her hand over her mouth and answered first.

"Anna fell off the bed, we'll be down soon!", she shot her sister a threatening look and removed her hand.

"Alright im heading to the museum. Remember dinners in the fridge and ill be back late!", Anna looked at the door.

"Have a good day!", the sound of the front door closing made both girl's sigh in relief.

"What about school?", Elsa asked while Anna got to her feet.

"We're on break genius…you would know that if you ever came out of here", she tilted her head but then remembered Jack and turned in his direction.

"Still alive over there", a groan was her answer.

"What is he doing here?", Anna asked while poking him.

"He showed up drunk last night-".

"Dunk?".

"Yes and I couldn't just leave him out on the lawn…..Jack?", he slowly started to sit up, the remnants of the pain he was feeling leaving his face.

"I'll survive", he shook his head and stretched before catching Anna's gaze as she looked at him. Realizing he was lacking in clothing he pulled the blankets up and looked slightly scandalized which made Elsa giggle.

"So to what do we owe this wake up call?", Anna seemed to snap back to attention as she clapped her hands.

"Where's your remote?", handing over the button clad piece of plastic she watched her sister turn on the flat screen.

"Anna what are yo-".

"Shhhhhh!", Elsa fell quiet as the pro skating news broadcasters faces appeared.

"…is it just me or has it been a never ending roller coaster these past few years on the ice?".

"I hear you Robin, first Jack and Elsa's return to the ice with style and then Elsa's less then fortunate break down', Jack and Anna both looked at her but she waved them off, 'Now to add on top of all these we have steroid use".

"My goodness what is the skating world coming to Marian?", Robin commented.

"Im not sure but as of last night the second seat couple Belle LeMure and Adam Castle were disqualified from competition because of Adam's use of steroids.", Elsa gasped at Marian's reveal.

"Now I know why they called him beast on the ice but all joking aside do to their disqualification the next couple on the points list will be invited to participate in the Open.", Anna hit mute and turned to face her.

"The next couple they are talking about….that's you guys!", her sister's words fell on the way side as Elsa looked at a now attentive Jack.

"We're next in the points.…", he repeated, a smile spreading across his face. "Elsa we are going to the Open", his excitement made her smile but the nagging feeling in the back of her mind made her stomach ache, could she do this?

THANK YOU!
