Hey everyone! (Read: TallestCora and Antonio because they're the only people I know for sure are still reading derp.) I sort of got stuck, so this chapter is a brief interlude with everyone's (least) favorite teacher, as suggested by Antonio. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt here and assume that this has nothing to do with the fact that today was our first day back from spring break.
She was the most feared teacher in the entire Skool. And somehow she was, yet again, stuck with Dib and Zim in her class this year. Whose bright idea was this? Who dared give make her suffer through yet another year of her two least favorite children? Was it Mr. Elliot? She never liked him. He was too cheery and refused to accept his DOOM.
What she wouldn't give to trade classes with that grinning idiot, for his class contained perhaps the only human child in this generation she could tolerate. Something about Gaz Membrane felt familiar. Was it that hatred of the human race? Her dark attitude? Bitters could sense that the child's heart was, if not quite as dark as her own, at least close enough. Gaz didn't smell evil so much as apathetic, but she shared Ms. Bitters' delight in causing others, particularly Dib and Zim, pain. That, at least, was a start.
Oh, Ms. Bitters was not blind. She was well aware of Zim, and his plot to take over the planet. It was glaringly obvious. Would have been obvious by his appearance and behavior alone, but his scent – unlike any creature on the face of the Earth – confirmed he did not belong here. His incompetence, however, was absolutely appalling. He spent more time teasing the big headed Membrane boy than he did actually causing doom.
But I digress, Ms. Bitters hissed to herself. Elliot will be hearing from me. Skool would start in a few short weeks, and if she had to put up with those two again...
Well, they would have bigger problems than each other.
