"I am, …, I WAS, Aragorn, son of Arathorn. I was the king of a country on a world called middle earth." Sirius stared up.

They had reconvened on the terrace of Lara's mansion once the cleanup was underway at the ministry.

"And how much sword fighting did you have to do?" Harry asked softly. He was curious to know but he didn't want to break his godfather's recollection.

"I spent the first 85 years of my life raised by the elves of Rivendell and as a ranger through the north." He answered in a soft voice.

"I liked the sword." Lara smiled as she said this. "Very kingly if you ask me."

Sirius looked around at her with an apologetic smile.

"I'm just amazed I was able to conjure it here. I'm usually pants at conjuring things."

"And you're sure the lightning isn't a possession of the bastard or anything?" Harry directed the question at Lara.

"I did two swipes and Tonks even checked. The genuine article. Sirius Orion Black the third." Lara punched him in the arm.

Harry sat back. The coffee was good after so much working out. It was drowned in cream and sugar and the cake Winston had brought out had already disappeared between them.

As the butler stepped out quietly Harry spoke again.

"So what happens now?"

"Well now that we're sure we've killed Tom and we're sure that Malfoy won't be coming back you can go back to school and enjoy yourself for a bit."

"Yes Harry, School. You need to finish your education."

"When you're done with that you and I can go gallivanting all over the world for buried temples and undead wizards to pummel about the head." Lara added before he could object.

"With your gifts I'm sure you'll be coming around any chance you get and I'm not going to tell you no but Lara is right you should take the time to be a kid while you have the chance."

Harry crossed his arms sulkily.

"You're still both asking me to spend the next three years among people who can never understand what I've been through and pretend to care about their issues with homework and who likes who."

Both adults shared a look. Of course he would feel that way. They both did their best not to smile at what he would feel like when he realized that that was exactly what every other kid his age felt like.

"I promise you that anything I can include you in I'll fetch you right away." Lara leaned forward and touched his arm.

"And since I'm your legal guardian I may be a lot more lenient then you think when it comes to having to miss school on account of an emergency." Sirius leaned back with a marauder's grin.
