Haha, you guys might hate me and then love me for this chapter. xD ...

As Nami continued walking, she only went where her feet took her. Her mind was off thinking about her's and Luffy's relationship. Before she knew it, she noticed her feet had stopped walking. She looked around and realized the ruble and broken building. This was Arlong's Park. She didn't even recognized it. She looked down and found this to be the spot where her and Luffy shared their first kiss.

She softly touched her lips and blushed when she remembered everyone staring and cheering for them. She closed her eyes and could still feel those sparks that went through her whole body. She could feel it all. His lips on hers, the wind on her face, her eyes filled with tears, and the treasured strawhat on her head.

She looked around and she could've sworn she heard some screams and cheers from that day. She remembered Gen and the rest of her neighborhood witnessing the event and cheering for their freedom. She remembered the smile of relief on her sister's face when she witnessed Arlong's defeat. That day was a very important and special day for her.

After a lot of thinking, she came to a conclusion of her hard thinking.

After a long night at the dojo, Luffy was finally heading home. He almost broke his leg due to Shanks' hard training, but he managed to walk it off. His training actually ended an hour before, but he just wanted to let out his frustration with the weights. This concerned Shanks. Knowing that he was his son, he trusted him and left alone.

As Luffy reached the entrance to the bar, she noticed a girl with long raven black hair running down her back. It's been a while since she came here. No one else was in the bar and there was no sign of Makino. Knowing that he'll regret this, he walked in. The weird part was, she didn't greet him with a "Luffy-sama!" or a "I always knew you'd come back to me!".

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I was just in the neighborhood and thought I should pass by before I leave."

"Leave? Where are you going?" Luffy walked around the counter and bought out some sake for the both of them.

"The crew and I were offered a free scholarship to Marineford Academy."

"Marineford? That's a government control school. I thought you wanted the One Piece like everyone else in the school."

"It sounded good at the time, but I guess its just out of my league now. Besides, you're the one aiming for it and I don't want to be in the way when you finally reach it. You're the only one I know that can reach it with ease."

"But what about you? You'll just be another one of the government's puppet. You can't let them control you. What ever happened to fighting back for my love?" Hancock chuckled.

"I'm still fighting for your love, but I'll be doing it from the other side this time. Don't think I've given up yet. I will make you fall in love with me again."

Luffy smiled and gulped down his sake. He might've disliked Hancock, but he had to support her with her desicion, not matter how he resented it. Hancock wiped her lips after finishing her sake.

"Thank you for the sake. I really miss nights like this where we only had ourselves and no one else."

"As much as I know I'll hate myself for saying this, but you can come back anytime. Only if you're feeling down and need someone to talk to. If you're only here to see me, then I'll kick your ass back to Marineford."

Hancock laughed.

"I understand... but before I go, can you do something for me?"

"Hm.. ?"

"Can you.. kiss me?"

Luffy hesitated and took a step back.

"It might mean nothing to you, but to me, it will mean the world. Please, I know if I do this, I'll finally be free from this school and move on."

Luffy clenched his fist, then released them after a lot of thinking. He stepped closer and removed a strand of hair from her face. He caressed her soft, pink cheeks. Her big blue eyes stared back into his black orbs. Something about them was dragging him in and he couldn't break free. Their faces were only inches apart when they started to close their eyes. Luffy gulped as he felt her warm breath on him. Before he knew it, their lips met. But that wasn't all. Their lips started to move in rhythm.

Thinking Luffy had finished with his training by now, Nami decided to talk to him about their relationship. She didn't want them to end over a silly fortune. Now that she thought about it, it was ridiculous to even spend money on something as wasteful as it. She loved him and thats all that mattered.

She turned the corner to his street and found the lights to the bar still on. She found it odd that it was still open at this late at night. She stopped at the front door where she found two people kissing by the counter. She looked closer and blinked when she recognized the long raven black hair of the boy.

She took a step back in disbelief. She didn't recognize them due to his treasured strawhat missing from his head. She didn't even realized that it was Hancock he was kissing. She watched hopelessly as their lips moved together and never stopped. Tears flooded her vision and she felt her knees growing weak.

She had to get away before they could see her. She quietly stepped back until she was a good distance from the bar before she sprinted away.

He felt her tongue on his bottom lip. He replied by pushing her away from him.

"I'm sorry. That's as far as I can go," murmured Luffy.

"...I understand. I'm sorry for making you do this."

Luffy only looked away to hide his blushing face.

"I guess this is goodbye, then," said Hancock as she grabbed her purse. Luffy looked at her and only smiled. He stuck his hand out.

"Think of it as a, see you later."

Hancock stared at the hand held out for her. She smiled and shook it.

"See you later."

Luffy stepped up to the front door of Nami's house. After Hancock left, he thought long and hard about her. She was all he ever thought about last night. Even during his kiss with Hancock. He'll have to tell her what happened and now might be a good time to do it. He knock on the door and waited patiently for it to open.

Nojiko opened the door with a huge frown on her face. Luffy immediately grew concerned.

"Nojiko, what's wrong?"

"Nami hasn't come home last night."

"Last night? Where'd she go?"

"She told me she was heading for your place. I haven't heard from her since. She wouldn't pick up her cell. Did you do something? Cause I swear-"

"No no! I didn't do anything. Didn't.."

After realization hit him, he cursed and ran a hand through his hair.

"SHIT!"

"What?"

"She must've saw us."

"What are you talking about?"

Luffy ran down the street. "I'll call you if I find her!"

Nojiko only watched as Luffy ran off. Luffy took his phone out and called the first person on his list.

"Chopper! Have you heard from Nami at all?"

"Last time I talked to her was when we left the mall yesterday."

"Can you please call her cell? I can't find her anywhere."

"I'll let you know."

Luffy dialed the next person on his list. Everyone came up empty until he reached Robin's number.

"I saw her at the train station late last night. The only place that train was heading was the other side of town."

"The beach house. Thank you so much."

Luffy hung up and stopped at the train station. He needed time to think of ways to talk to her. As the train arrived, it immediately started to crowd with people. One of the many flaws of living in Japan.

Nami tightened her hold on her legs. She couldn't sleep. She couldn't eat. Her phone has been vibrating with calls from her friends and her sister. It was silent in the mansion without the crew running all over the place. She didn't even think she'd be back here so early. She sat on the same bed in the same room they shared together. It was a stupid idea because it only brought back memories she shared with him. She's been thinking long and hard and a knock on the door knocked her back to her senses.

"Nami... it's me."

Nami immediately recognized the voice. She bit her lip as tears blurred her vision. She didn't move to get up. She didn't want to see him most of all.

"Please, open the door. I want to talk."

"No."

Luffy could hear the crack in her voice. She has been crying. So, he was right. She did see him and Hancock last night. He was having second thoughts on wether Hancock knew Nami would be coming or not.

"What happened last night isn't what you think. Hancock and I.. we're nothing! She's gone! She means nothing to me!"

"That's not what it looked like when you were sucking her face!"

"You have every right to be mad at me! But please hear me out!"

"Don't waste your time. Tell it to someone who-"

Nami was caught off when she saw the door open. Her eyes widened when she saw her boyfriend standing there staring at her. In his hand, he held a small metal rod she had given him back when they started getting out.

"You're the one who taught me how to open doors after all."

Nami looked down to hide her tears.

"You also taught me how to think of others before myself. How to laugh. How to smile. How to love... She only came last night to say goodbye. Her and her crew transferred to another school. I only kissed her.. to remember me by, I guess. It meant nothing to me. The whole time I was with her, I was thinking of you. Who cares about the fortune. Who cares about Hancock! You're my whole life, Nami. I love you and only you. Why can't you see that?"

Nami bit her lip. Different emotions were running through her mind. Regret. Confusion. Love. Luffy sighed when she didn't say anything.

"I understand if you're mad at me. Maybe you do need someone that'll be there for you when you need him. Someone who can love you like the way I do. I can disappear from you're life just like that if you want me to."

Luffy took one last look at Nami before making his way to the open door. Her eyes widened. She looked up to see him leaving the room. She quickly got up and ran for him. Luffy sensed movement coming from behind him. He turned around only to be jumped by Nami. He almost lost his balance, but his strength held him together.

"Please, don't go," muttered Nami. Luffy smiled and tightened his hold on her.

"I'll never leave you."

Their lips met as Luffy walked back into the room. He shut the door with his foot. He was so engrossed with the kiss, he had little difficulty trying to navigate his way around the room. After slightly opening his eyes, he finally found what he was looking for. He gently set his beloved down on the bed, their lips never parting from one another.

He could feel her hands begin to unbutton his shirt. He helped her by removing it. Luffy pulled away from the kiss to catch his breath. He then started kissing down her jaw and down her neck. Nami ran her hand through his scruffy raven black hair as she enjoyed his lips on her skin.

Luffy again pulled away and got to eye level with her.

"Are you sure about this?"

"I love you.. and I should've trusted you from the beginning. This is just my way of showing that you're my whole life too."

Luffy smiled at her words. It touched his heart deeply and it was as if he was falling in love all over again.

I'm not changing the rating ;P

I was never good at writing those types of stories. I really did think about writing the whole thing, but I thought mine wouldn't be as romantic as others.

I was reading some of the fics on here and I realized how much hate Hancock gets. Even I feel bad for making her look bad. She's still human and a girl. She has a heart and feelings like the rest of us... even though she's a fictional character.
