Authors Note: Hey guys sorry for the some what late chapter, I have had a ton of test lately. Being a college student and having spare time to write can sometimes be a challenge. So thank you all who have ignored my little punctuation and spelling errors, as well as my late posts. I know it can be a little annoying sometimes and wish I had more time but I'll take my experiences from writing this story and do better for any future stories I make. Its been a long road and all that being said this story will be ending soon. Yes were are almost there little one's. We have but a few chapters left. This was first fic and its been a blast but all good things come to an end. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter and don't forget to review.

" Come on, Come on." Sakura paced the living room with her cell phone pressed between her cheek and shoulder. She let out a groan of frustration when she heard the answering machine on the other end for the fifth time.
" Hey Neji its me Sakura..again. Listen, a bunch of us have been trying to reach you and its really important that you call us back. Please its an emergency!" Sakura then slammed her phone down on the table beside her after hanging up.
The other's in the room turn to her with defeated looks on their faces.
" Still nothing?" Sasuke said walking over to Sakura.
Sakura ran her hand over her face and sighed. " Yeah, god I'm completely freaking out right now."
The house had been in total mayham since Naruto left. Everyone was on edge, as worry and numerous scenarios ran through their minds. To make matters worst, they couldn't even complete the task Naruto had assigned for them. They each called Neji and left several voice messages, but he didn't pick up once. Thus adding to their worries. They had also attempted to call Naruto to check in on him and tell him what was going on, but he too had yet to pick up the phone. It had now been officially three hours since he left the house. So you could imagine the atmosphere.
" This is crazy." Kiba rapidly tapped his foot against the floor. " Damn it i can't stand sitting here something definitely happened to that idiot."
" Well Naruto's phones dead we know that now. " Shino said placing his phone in his lap. " And he never told us where he was going so that's great.
Loud laughing in the room caught everyone's attention. Yue paced back and forth around the room with a phone to his ear.
" What the hell is he laughing about?" Kiba said pointing behind him with his thumb.
Sakura could see Kiba's annoyance and waved a hand at him. " Leave the man alone. It's his wife he hasn't spoken to her for a few days now. She was probably scared."
Yue could feel the glare Kiba was giving him and he quickly escaped to the nearest room.
" Forget Yue he doesn't solve our issue" Jiraiya said redirecting everyone's attention. " We need to figure out what the hell happened to Naruto at least. Based on what you guys have been telling me about Toneri this doesn't sound good" he said.
" We can't even track him if his phones dead" Sasuke said as he sat next to Sakura, who was now sitting at the kitchens island." For once I'm at a lost."
Sakura plopped her head in her hands hearing that. " I'm so scared, we saw first hand what there capable of." Sakura looked at Sasuke with fearful eyes.
" God..what if they get killed? It's all my fault i should have stopped her. If i hadn't been sleeping maybe i could have-"
Sasuke put a hand on Sakura's shoulder. " Stop that.. theres no sense in driving your self mad. What happened happened it isn't anyones fault."
Sakura's eyes became rimmed with tears, before she threw herself against Sasuke. He looked down at her stiff and with wide eyes, but eventually he patted her back to show her some sort of comfort.
Kiba then suddenly shot up from the couch. The others watched as he raided the coat closet and ripped his coat out frantically.
" Kiba what do you think your doing?" Shino said standing up too.
Kiba threw his hoodie over his head and began putting on his shoes. " What does it look like? I'm gonna go find Naruto and Hinata."
Sasuke freed himself from Sakuras death grip and rapidly approached kiba. " You can't be serious. We have no idea where they are and Konoha is not exactly small."
Kiba stood up once again stamping his foot down making sure his sneakers were on properly. " Thats true but we have an idea where they might be heading. That's something" he said.
Sasuke grip Kiba's jacket preventing him from going to the door. " Listen i get your worried, but we have to be smart about this" Sasuke said. " Don't you think they would assume that we'd try to save them? We go to that hide out now and i guarantee you we'll be ambushed."
Kiba growled at him. " Well do you have a better idea? The more we wait the more we risk something horrible happening." Kiba then grabbed Sasuke by the wrist. " So either join me or let go of my fucking jacket!"
The sound of Sakura's cellphone ringing caused everyone to fall silent. Sakura wasted no time and snatched it up from the counter. Her face fell however when she saw the name of the caller.
" Who is it!?" Kiba said racing over to her with Sasuke and Shino right behind him.
Sakura furrowed her brow's and sighed. " Damn it i thought it was one of them. Its just Nina, Naruto's stupid Ex."
Everyone's shoulders fell in disappointment. Sakura never wanted to break her phone more than in that very moment.
" God i thought i blocked her. Why is she even calling?" Sakura said sitting back down and rubbing her face.
" Who care's? I'm going. Sasuke and Shino are you in?" Kiba asked standing by the front door.
Sasuke and Shino looked at each other with hesitation. They knew just how risky this could, but this was there friends so wasn't it worth it?
Jiraiya's attention went to Sakura, who was now holding the phone in her hand and dialing a number.
" Uh, little miss Sakura what are you doing there?" he asked.
" I'm calling her back, she made a mistake by trying to contact me after I specifically told her never to again. Now she's gonna be my punching bag, i need to let off some steam" Sakura said holding the phone to her ear.
" H-Hello" a shaken voice answered on the other line.
" Hey Nina i thought i told your slimy ass to never contact me again. When Naruto broke up with you that means all of his friends broke up with you too!" Sakura yelled into the phone.
Jiraiya and the others looked at Sakura with shock as she yelled.
The shakened voice on the phone changed its tone instantly.
" You have some nerve calling me slimy you troll. You've always been jealous of me that's your problem. You can't even get a man. You've been chasing after someone that doesn't even want you for years now" Nina said back with irritation lacing her voice.
" Me chasing after some one who doesn't want me huh? Why does that sound so familiar? Oh that's right Naruto. You never could let go of the fact that he dumped your ass huh? So sad poor, poor slutty Nina" Sakura snapped back.
" Go to hell bitch!" Nina yelled back.
Sakura laughed mockingly at Nina's reaction.
" Speaking of Naruto, my purpose in calling you was to tell you that Naruto took a sign to the face and is now all fucked up in the hospital. But, since you can't resist being an ugly big forheaded bitch i guess you'll never find him now."
" Wait a minute! What? Where is he!?" Sakura yelled back at her.
" Figure it out scumbag! Toodles."
Sakura nearly screamed in rage when she heard the phone click and then the dial tone.
" Uh that bitch i'm gonna kill her!" Sakura shot up from her seat and quickly dialed Nina's number again while the others watched in horror.
" Sakura whats goin-"
Sakura didn't let Sasuke finish his sentence before she slapped her hand over his mouth.
" Shush!" She said holding her phone closely against her ear. Sasuke simply blinked at her sudden aggression.
After a few rings Nina's sicklely sweet voice mail recording met Sakura's ears and she erupted with fury.
" Listen bitch! I know your there and once i figure out what hospital Naruto's at, i'm marching over there and your dead. You hear me!? I'm digging two graves!? One for you and the other for your hair extensions and boob implants. So you better run as far as your five inch heels can take you because I'm coming for blood!"
Sakura then took her phone and threw it across the room nearly hitting Shino and Kiba.
" Woah! I didn't do anything no need to take my head off!" Kiba said barely catching Sakura's phone.
" Call every hospital in Konoha, and asked them for Naruto" Sakura said to everyone.
Sasuke's eyes widened slightly" Hospital? What did that fool do this time?"
Sakura sighed, " That slut said something about him taking a sign to the face, we need to find him quick."
Sakura then began marching in the direction of the guest room.
" Where are you going?!" Jiraiya called after her.
Sakura looked over her shoulder giving Jiraiya an almost glare. " I need to calm down for a bit. I'm gonna change you guys can handle this it shouldn't be too hard."
Jiraiya felt himself almost shiver at her response. Man was she scary when she was angry.
Sakura then ripped opened the door of the guest room and grabbed Yue by the arm. Yue looked down at her in shock, he was still on the phone with his wife but his smile faded when he looked at Sakura.
" Don't just stare at me GET OUT!" She said yanking him out of the room.
Yue nearly crashed into the wall as Sakura pushed him, then slammed the door shut with out another word.
Yue slowly turned his head to the group of men in the living room who held similar face expressions as him.
" Um...did i miss something here?" Yue said removing the phone from his ear.
Kiba just looked at Sasuke with a smirk. " Thats YOUR girl Sasuke."
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Her body stung all over. It was like a burning heat was rising from her toes up towards her head. She could feel herself begin to sweat, she could hear the sounds of doors opening and closing around her, Yet she could not open her eyes.
She was scared. Her heart beated violently, so hard in fact she felt it in her head rather then her chest. But it wasn't fear for herself. It was fear for him.
The image of his bloodied body in the distance eletricfied her pulling her from her half conscious state. Hinata found her self shooting up from an unfamiliar bed in a cold sweat. Her breathing was erratic and her eyes scanned the area. This was neither her room or Jiraiya's guest room. God had she hoped it be, because that would mean what happened with Naruto was not a dream.
Hinata held a hand to her mouth to muffle the sob's that escaped her. It was her fault. Had she taken his hand he wouldn't have ended up that way. She had no idea whether or not he still drew breath on this earth. It was if she pushed him and ended his life with her two hands.
Hinata's tears did not stop. She had lost the little strength she had left. She didn't care where she was or what her future held. Hinata just wished she could go back and be with him one last time.
The door of the room creaked open causing Hinata to freeze. A familiar set of pale eyes stared back at her from the door way and sent chills down her spine.
" Ah i see your awake" Toneri said entering the room. He flipped on the lights, and Hinata was able to see more of her surroundings.
The room she was in was actually quite beautiful. Everything in the room was either white pink or lavander. The curtain's, and bed sheets were made of silk and laced giving the room a doll like feel. While the wall decorations little figures, teas sets and vases also added some elegance. But Hinata could careless. After all she was now back in a house with a bunch of Psychos.
" Do you like the room, i had it specifically designed for you. Women like these things do they not?" Toneri asked. His eyes widened however when he noticed Hinata's tear stained face.
He rushed over to the bed side and kneeled next to her. " My dear, your crying."
Toneri reached into his silver jacket pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. He attempted to wipe Hinata's tears away but she moved away from him.
" You drugged me didn't you?" She asked him with stone cold eyes.
Toneri was silent for a moment before he spoke again. " Is that why your crying?"
Hinata glared at him " Don't play games you know why I'm crying."
Toneri sighed and shook his head. " I understand your distress, this situation hasn't exactly been easy for you. To answer your question yes i did, but only because you were extremely emotional. Now that your here, I assure you that with time you will grow to love this place though."
Toneri placed a hand on Hinata's shoulder with a smile. " And hopefully me as well."
Hinata glared at him making him frown.
He then gave her a sad smile and scratched the back of his neck. " I know you still hate me, but that won't last long."
Toneri stood up," Now you should change, in the closet i have a large selection of clothes you can choose from."
Toneri then headed towards the door. " I'll be back in ten minutes to get you for lunch."
Hinata felt slight relief when she saw the door shut. Being in the same room as him brought her so much rage she could barely contain her self.
Just then, a troubling thought crossed her mind. She lifted up the covers to see that she no longer had her boots on. The gun she hid was gone.
Hinata cursed herself for not putting it in a better spot, now they knew and definitely would be watching her closely. Not to mention the fact she had no way to protect herself now.
Hinata then felt her chest and was relieved that the recorder was still there. She didn't dare to check it out of fear of being watched by hidden cameras.
Hinata got up from the bed and slowly made her way to the closet. It was huge and when she flicked the lights on she was mesmerized by the amount of clothing. To think her friends thought her closet was big. There was a large selection of clothing which were name branded and shoes that would make models drool.
Hinata couldn't help but think back to what Yue had told her. How was it possible for a family that was supposedly broke to be able afford such high priced items and a luxury home such as this. Something was definitely wrong here.
Hinata had no desire to wear any of the items, not just because of her hatred for Toneri but that none of this frilly glittery, pastel, garbage was her style. She was more a casual girl not some padgent queen. This only further confirmed that Toneri really didn't know her.
Still, Hinata forced herself. She needed to put on her good girl act to get more info. She wanted Toneri to believe she was playing his game. That was the plan, but it was a lot easier said than done. Her hatred for him was so strong and with what happened to Naruto, containing her emotions was very difficult for her.
But somewhere in this house her sister laid scared and alone. She needed to some how get to her then get the hell out of this place. Hinata's thoughts then went to Naruto. And once she was out she needed to see him.
Hinata picked the least fanciest of the clothing. She stared at a peach Maxi dress that she knew might hug her figure a bit more than she would like. Great now he would be oggling her like a dog in heat, but she didn't have much of a choice.
She reluctantly slipped off her clothes and stepped into the dress. Before pulling it over she adjusted the recorder on her bra and started a new recording. She hoped they had enough decency to not put cameras in this area.
" I'm currently inside the home of Toneri Otsutsuki where my sister is being held hostage " Hinata said into the device. She wanted to summarize what was going on for better evidence. Hinata then put the dress on completely and stared into the mirror.
" Oh no" Hinata whispered to herself. Just as she thought, the dress showed off parts of her body that she didn't even feel comfortable revealing.
" And here i thought Ino's choice in clothing was flashy " She whispered.
" Is it not to your liking?"
Hinata jumped and nearly fell on her butt hearing the voice in the room.
Toneri stood at the door with an apologetic look. " I'm sorry i didn't mean to scare you. Lunch is ready."
His eyes as Hinata predicted, scanned her from head to toe and she could see a ghost of a smile appear on his face.
" You look absolutely stunning. In my opinion, every article of clothing in this room would look wonderful on you, so do not feel self conscious."
Hinata felt herself cringe as he slowly approached her.
" H-How long were you standing there?" she asked him with wide eyes. Anxiety took over her at the thought of the recording she had just did.
Toneri gave her a soft smile. " Do not worry i wasn't spying on you while you were changing. I am a gentlemen. I arrived just now."
Hinata nearly sighed in relief, but her nerves were not settled. Just then Toneri walked over to a pair of white platform's.
" Sit down for a moment, i bet these would go great with your dress" he said.
Hinata once again was shocked. Was he really going to try to put her shoes on for her. The more Hinata looked at her surroundings and her current circumstance, the more she began to feel like some doll trapped inside a doll house. There was no way she was going to let him touch her.
" I-I am an adult i do not need anyone to put my shoes on" she said backing away from him.
Toneri shook his head. " Yes i agree you are a grown woman there's no denying that." He then openly checked her out again, making Hinata want to vomit.
" But this is something i want to do as a gentlemen, plus the drugs in your system have not completely faded and it would be a shame if you were to hurt yourself" He said.
Toneri stepped forward making Hinata step back once again and fall in the seat behind her. Hinata cursed. He did that on purpose.
" Thats better" Toneri gave her a innocent smile before kneeling before her.
" H-Hey! I said i really don't need any help" Hinata said. But Toneri's hand already lifted her dress exposing her feet.
Hinata yelped feeling him take her foot into his cold hands.
" How is it possible that your feet are even beautiful" he whispered. He held her foot like it was fine china and gazed at in a way that made Hinata's skin crawl. She wanted nothing more than to run away in that very moment. What the hell was wrong with him?
Indure it. Indure it. She repeated in her head but her body reacted differently as his fingers brushed over her souls.
" My are you ticklish?" Toneri said. Little did he know she was squirming around due to her pure disgust for him.
" You weren't this ticklished when i removed the gun from your ankle though."
Hinata froze and looked down at Toneri. His eyes were that of stone and an erie feeling washed over her.
" But then again you were unconscious so i guess that makes sense" Toneri tightened the strap on Hinata's shoe.
" Say what were you planning on doing with such a weapon? Hmm Hinata-san?" Toneri continued to tighten the strap on Hinata's foot to the point that she began to feel some pain.
" Were you going to use it on me? Were you going to kill me?" Hinata gasped in pain as the strap now dug into her skin.
" Well speak up i'm listening!" Toneri yelled. Hinata felt petrified, it seemed like her circumstance was far worst than she could imagine.
" N-No i wouldn't do that. N-not to you I-i was scared i-i didn't want to be attacked again!" Hinata said through harsh breaths. She looked at him with pleading eyes.
Warmth returned to Toneri's now widening eyes. He released the strap like it was on fire and put a hand to his face.
" Y-yes of course that had to be the reason. You would be scared. You had no idea what my intentions were or my feelings" he rambled.
He looked at Hinata's foot that was now redden from the pressure and gasped. " I-I am so sorry! My god what have i done."
He removed Hinata's foot and rubbed it delicately. Hinata looked down at him with a mixure of fear and shock. It was like he was two different people. What was it that she just witnessed?
Toneri shot up in a panick. " L-let me get you some ice!"
" No don't worry it doesn't hurt i don't feel a thing" Hinata said trying to calm him down. Who knew what else he would do in a panicked state such as this. She needed him to be at least some what level headed.
Toneri paused and looked at her with sad eyes. He then with slow movments took her hand and urged her to stand.
Hinata did everything in her power to remain unreadable, though her foot did ache.
" See I'm fine you don't need to worry" Hinata said.
Toneri then suddenly took Hinata into his arms making her stiffen. " Thank goodness, if i had injured you i wouldn't be able to deal with myself."
He then pulled away from Hinata and looked at her with melancholy. " I'm sorry this was a side of me i didn't want you to see. I've had a tough life and some things take me back to those dark times. So please don't try anything like that again i don't want to hurt the person who brings me so much happyness."
Hinata nodded her head, though she knew eventually she would have to other wise.
Hinata spotted a pair of black flats and slipped them on making Toneri raise an eyebrow. Never the less Toneri smiled widely at her and connected her arm with his.
" Lets go to lunch now okay?" Toneri led a stiff Hinata out of the closet, out of the room and into the hall way.
Hinata looked at her surroundings and tried to contain her shock. Nothing around her looked familiar. Naruto and Hinata had practically scaled the hideout room after room, yet as Hinata walked nothing rung a bell. This was not the hide out.
" You must be wondering where we are" Toneri asked.
Hinata didn't say a thing. It was like he was reading her mind or something.
Toneri looked at her waiting for a reply, but gave in and told her anyway. " We are at my actual home, the place you infiltrated was just an area we held secret meetings and a home for the Gekkou's."
Hinata placed a hand to her chest as anxiety kicked in. With no idea where she was, this put a complete dent in her escape plan. But she had to remain calm, Toneri was watching her.
" We didn't always live in Konoha, but i like to think of this house as my safe haven. Its very special to me that's why I wanted to bring you here" Toneri said.
Hinata barely listened to him as they walked. Gekkou's stood scattered lining the wall. Though they wore mask Hinata could feel there glares.
Toneri open the doors to what Hinata assumed was the dining room.
Inside was beautiful, an array of dishes were spread across a large wooden table surrounded by breath taking furniture and paintings. What was more intersting was the man who sat at the end of the table however. He mirrored Toneri in appearance but his gaze was far from friendly.
Toneri too found himself tensed. " Father i-i didn't know you would be joining us."
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
The sounds of a monitor beeping echoed through out the room. The smell of sanitizer and medicine made Nina feel nauseated and impatient. She despised hospitals. Her eyes jumped towards the bed of her sleeping ex. Every now and then she would hear a grumble and moan escape his cut lips. Her heart ached seeing him in this damaged form.
She reached to the table beside her and picked up a rag.
" Naru... what the hell is going on?" she whispered as she wiped the sweat from his for head.
She felt Naruto flinch and his breath caught in his throat in response to her touch.
" H-Hinata" he mumbled.
Nina removed the rag from his face and her once gentle gaze hardened.
" Naru why? even in this state you call out for her" Nina said.
" Naru! I'm here not her. I've always been. Even since way back then she was always in your thoughts wasn't she? You never did smile at me the way you do with her" Nina yelled to the unconscious Naruto.
" There was always that coldness, you never smiled with your eyes." Nina sunk back into her seat. She held her face in sorrow. Even now her feelings for him were so strong.
" God Naru i beat myself up everyday for what i did. I never should have cheated, but i always felt i was the only one putting effort in our relation ship."
Naruto once again called out for Hinata and Nina sucked her teeth.
" I never felt loved, I'm starting to understand why now."
Just then the doors of the room violently slid open. Nina rose to her feet in suprise and wiped the tears from her eyes. A of group people Nina had come to know as Naruto's friends stood in the door way, with a very angry Sakura standing in front.
Sakura cracked her knuckles. " Looks like you didn't take my advice" she said with sharp eyes."
" Well that was a big mistake." Sakura began to lunge towards Nina. Nina placed her arms over her face preparing for impact, but lowered them realising she had no reason to.
Sasuke and Kiba struggled to keep Sakura in place, holding her by the arm and waist.
" Give it a rest Sakura its not worth it" Kiba said.
" Say's you! This bitch has no idea what's going on, yet she wants to play games. I've been meaning to punch her face in anyway!" Sakura said as she struggled.
" If you start a fight we will be kicked out" Sasuke said to her next. " We have to be smart Naruto's more important any way."
Sakura looked at Naruto, who was badly bruised with bandages wrapped around his chest arm and legs. She instantly relaxed. Her face shifted from anger to sadness.
Nina however couldn't help her self and threw in her thoughts.
" Whether you people like it or not i was his girl friend, i was the one here with him through the whole hospital trip and the reason you guys are even here. You guys talk down to me? Look at yourself's what kind of friends are you?" She said.
" If i were you i'd shut my mouth, like Sakura said you have no idea what is going on" Kiba said now too getting upset.
Nina's eyebrows furrowed. " Yeah? So why don't you all start off by explaining it to me? Because all i see is a bunch of fake friends attacking the girl who basically saved Naru's life!"
" Your really trying my patience" Kiba said with a growl and taking a step forward. " And stop calling him " Naru" its annoying as hell."
Nina smirked. " Naru.
Naru. Naru. Naru. What are you gonna do about it mutt?"
" Guys wait look!" Yue said pointing to Naruto, who's eyes were fluttering open.
" I'll go get a nurse" Jiraiya said running out of the room. The other surrounded Naruto with faces of both relief and worry.
" Naruto, Naruto are you alright? its me Kiba." Kiba hovered over Naruto who seemed to struggle to open his eyes.
" K-Kiba?" Naruto managed to croak out.
Kiba smiled. " Yes buddy you remember don't you?"
Naruto turned his head a little towards kiba and looked at him. " K-Kiba.. have you...have you.."
Kiba nodded his head encouraging him to continue. " Yes go on buddy I'm listening."
" H-Have you ever tried some breath mints" Naruto finally said.
The looks of worry dissolved from everyones face in that very moment.
Kiba clenched his fist and took a good look at Naruto's injured body, before he breathed out. " Man your lucky your injured. I'll save my beating for later."
Naruto's eyes widened at Kiba's words and he stared down at his body in shock.
" What the-" Naruto try to sit up but his body wouldn't allow him to do so. Each movement sent waves of soreness along his nerves. Still he struggled.
" W-where am i? W-what happened to me?" He said frantically.
The events of what had transpired previously came back to him in slow painful burst in his mind.
" Hinata where is she!? " Naruto said scanning the room.
Sakura rushed to Naruto's side nearly knocking Nina over. " Naruto you need to relax you've just been in a pretty bad accident."
" Bad accident?" Naruto said in confusion.
Nina approached Naruto as well with slow movments, in a way that you would a scared child.
Naruto noticed her and became even more astonished." Nina? What are you doing here?"
Nina felt so small in that moment. He hadn't noticed her even though she had been right there by his side.
" I came here with you. I was just leaving from work when i heard a commotion down the street. I saw you laying there in snow and your own blood" Nina said. She felt tears of frustration building from with in her.
" The police said you were hanging off of pick up truck reaching out to some couple, before you lost your footing and collided with a sign. Naru just what were you thinking? Have you lost your mind!?" Nina cried out.
Naruto's face hardened and he looked at his lap in defeat. The atmosphere in the room shifted from heated to ice cold.
Sakura frowned and ran a hand through her hair. " So that's what happened...that means.."
Just then Naruto finally managed to sit up and violently ripped the IV from his arm out.
Nina panicked and held his arm." What are you doing!?"
Sakura also tried to restrain him. She placed her hand on Naruto's shoulder and tried to lay him back down. " Naruto you need to rest. Where do you think your going?"
" Hinata..she needs me i can't.." Naruto grimaced in pain, " I can't leave her alone with that creep!"
Nina more forcibly pushed him back against the bed.
" Hey be careful with him!" Yue said.
Nina ignored him and grabbed Naruto by his hospital gown. He looked up at her with wide eyes.
Nina was infuriated, her jaw clenched and the fist holding the fabric of the gown shook.
" You had several stitches, you have broken some bones in your face, You've bruised rib's and you have a very bad concussion!" Nina yelled at him.
" The doctors say you'll be out of commission for a while. They found other pre-existing injuries too!"
Tears began forming in Nina's eyes once again. "I don't know what you've been up to but if you do anything else stressful you could really hurt yourself, maybe even kill yourself. So your staying right here!"
Naruto's eyes softened hearing Nina's plead. He placed a hand on top of where Nina gripped his gown.
Sakura and the others watched with hanging jaws as he squeezed her hand tightly and gave her a soft smile.
" Don't cry Nina. You've always had a funny way of expressing your emotions" Naruto said softly. " You don't need to worry about me."
" Then stay here and heal and forget about this Hinata girl!" Nina said releasing Naruto. " The guy she was with won't hurt her, in fact they seemed pretty close."
Naruto became serious and he sat up again. " You saw Toneri with her too? Where? Did you hear anything like where they were going?"
Nina looked at Naruto's pleading eyes and frowned. " What does it matter your not going after her i refused to let you" she responded.
" Nina!" Naruto growled. " If you know something you need to tell us. Hinata's in danger."
Nina was taken a back by the hostility in Narutos voice. But she stood her ground.
" I don't care! That girl has done nothing but cause you pain. She was the one who left you and your friends with out saying a word years ago right? She came back out of no where and now she's going to get you killed" Nina yelled back at him.
Nina then looked around the room at everyone. " Whats wrong with you people? what kind of friend does that? Obviously she didn't value your friendship as much as you guys thought!"
Everyone looked at Nina with mixed emotions. Some looked to the ground others glared at Nina in anger. Naruto however remained unreadable.
" So she just pops back in your lives and everythings cool, your willing to risk your lives, die even for her? Am i missing something? Whats so great about that bimbo huh?" Nina questioned.
" Nina.." Naruto finally said. Nina turned back to Naruto sharply with tears leaking from her eyes. " What!?" She yelled.
" Shut up " Naruto responded.
Nina's eyes widened as anger steamed out of her. Her whole body shook and she clenched her fists pondering on whether or not to use them. " Shut up...SHUT UP!?"
" Hinata's like family to all of us we practically grew up together. She's kind, loyal, brave and puts everyone else before herself" Sakura said.
" She's made her mistakes don't get us wrong, but she's out there risking her life for the people she cares about. A big cry baby like herself is taking on the devil himself" Kiba then said.
" Even though she's scared even though she knows the risks she's fighting and not backing down " Shino added.
" I may have only known Hinata-san for a short time, but even i can see she is a remarkable woman" Yue said.
" So why can't we do what she's done? Put our feelings and wants aside and save her? Who are you to decide how we should react and who our friends are? You insecure jealous two timing little bitch" Sasuke said with out a stitch of emotion.
Nina's rage reached a new level. She turned to Naruto and grabbed his gown again.
" What about me huh? I was there for you. I was a good girl friend. I had your back!" Nina yelled to Naruto.
" Yeah you drove a knife in it too, you cheated remember? And what does our past and let me repeat PASS relationship, have to do with the current situation!? Naruto yelled back at her. " Stop being so childish Nina!"
Nina gripped his gown tighter and leaned closer to him. " It has everything to do with us. You never tried this hard when we were together!? You never fought for me. Me cheating on you was like a blessing from god wasn't it? So you had an excuse to leave me."
Naruto pulled Nina's hand away from him. " This is ridiculous! Nina your sounding really insane right now! This is not the time for jealousy, Hinata could be killed for all we know!"
Naruto glared at Nina and she did back twice as hard. " I hate you! I hate your stupid face, i hate our stupid memories and i hate the fact that i still have feelings for you!" she yelled in Naruto's face.
Naruto ran a hand through his hair and once again his face fell in defeat. " Nina please can we talk about this another time, i get your hurting, but please Hinata needs us."
Nina found her self blinded by tears once again. She quickly wiped them away hating the fact that she was crying in front of everyone.
" Why...why her?" Nina asked him as sadly.
Naruto took Nina's hand once again and looked up at her with that smile she loved yet despised.
" Because i love her Nina" Naruto said.
Naruto's words sent shock waves through out the room. Not that they didn't already know. Big smiles and giggles filled the silence, bringing questionable looks from both Naruto and Nina.
" W-What why are you guys looking at me like that" Naruto said staring back at his friends big plastered grins.
Kiba placed a large hand on Naruto's shoulder shaking his head. " It's about time you idiot, finally you realize your feelings i thought you would never get it."
" Honestly Naruto i was wondering how dense you could possibly be. I mean how is it we knew you loved her before you did?" Sakura asked.
Naruto raised his eyebrows processing what he just did and as a result turned bright red.
" N-Now just wait a minute" Naruto stuttered out.
" Nuh uh! You are not getting out of this what was said has been said" Kiba stated. " Your in love with our little Bunny Hinata."
" But i.." Naruto stammered.
" Zip it dobe its out everyone already knew" Sasuke said.
Naruto opened his mouth then closed it. Then after thinking spoke again. "Alright fine i love her so what!?" he yelled.
Those grins returned on his friends face pissing Naruto off.
" And stop smiling like that its freaking me out!" Naruto added.
Nina who no longer could bare standing there, abruptly started heading towards the exit. Everyones gazes followed her and Naruto felt guilt despite those being his true feelings.
" Nina.." Naruto weakly called out to her.
Nina stopped in the door way and slowly turned half way around, looking at Naruto over her shoulder. As Naruto expected she was crying again.
" Main house.." Nina said in almost a whisper.
Naruto leaned forward in a attempt to hear her. " What was that?"
Nina swallowed and turned completely around. " Main house. That man said he was taking her to the main house. I also saw him pull off with her in a white truck when i found you. She looked completely unconscious."
" He must have drugged her" Naruto became enraged at just the thought.
" He was heading in the direction of those rich houses down town, you know that area where big business and political figures live. You should look there" Nina added.
Nina then turned around and continued to exit the room.
" Nina...Thank you" Naruto said just as she almost closed the door. Nina paused and let out a sigh.
" Don't assume I've given up just yet Naru" Nina said before finally closing the door and taking off.
Silence once again return to the room as they processed Nina's parting words.
" Well " Naruto said slowly turning in his bed so that his feet now hung off the side, " Are you guys gonna help me out of here or what?"
The others looked at each other in deliberation. This would be a new experience, helping a clearly injured person escape the hospital. What kind of jail sentence would they recieve if they were caught?

Hinata meekly sipped at her tea, trying desperately not to stare back at the eyes that were glued on her. She hated to admit it but she was famished. After all the only thing she had been fed all day was confrontation. Her stomach at this point in the day was not very pleased with her. So she reluctantly indulged in the feast that had been prepared for her, that Toneri had assured her was not spiked.
That in its self was a bit hard to believe considering all the drugging that had occured under his eye. But the appetizing aroma of the food and the embarrassing growling of her stomach made her decide that food needed to be in her mouth as soon as possible.
However eating the food comfortably was another task in its self. Stares from Toneri and his sterned faced father made Hinata wish there WAS some sort of drugs in the food. That way she could bare the awkwardness of this all. Summoning all her courage she finally decided to address the elephant in the room.
" Is there something wrong? Your food will get cold, you both should eat instead of staring at me" Hinata said with as much delicacy as she could muster.
" Oh yes my apologies it just warmed my heart to see you enjoying the food" Toneri said with a smile. He then began to eat his food as well. Toneri's Father however, seemed to have completely ignored Hinata's shade filled remark and continued on with his staring. Thus forcing Hinata to stare back. Toneri looked between the two's staring contest before finally saying something.
" Father it isn't polite to stare your making her uncomfortable."
Toneri's father closed his eyes and smiled in a sarcastic mannerism. " Oh forgive me. You see i usually try to stay away from your kind, so it's rare that i get to see a Hyuga so close up" he said to Hinata, opening his eyes once again.
" I guess i can some what see the appeal" Toneri's fathers eyes wandered to Hinata's chest rather than her face causing her to cover herself with her hands.
With that same smirk he then turned to Toneri who's eyes sharpen with anger.
" My son you have always been able to find beauty in even the most unsightly things. You are truly blessed to have such a talent."
Toneri shot up from his seat in fury, but found himself slowly sitting back down when his father glared at him.
" Father i think your being incredibly rude. You promised you would behave" Toneri said trying to contain his anger.
Toneri's father laugh whole heartily. " What? I can't tell a few jokes? Your Hyuga doesn't seemed to be effected."
Toneri's father stared at Hinata once again. She thought Toneri would be a challenge, but his father seemed to be far worse worse. She clenched the fabric of her dress at her lap holding back her emotions as well.
" Right..Hyuga?" Toneri's father asked. Something about his presence felt heavy. Like he had the power to destroy an army with his eyes. His whole aura was sinister despite his old man appearance.
Hinata remained quiet and looked at her plate rather than him. Her heart raced for some reason, like that man was trying to steal her soul.
Toneri's father chuckled once again. " How pityful it seems like i am the only one here with a sense of humor."
He looked at Toneri once again. " Son if you don't mind, i would like to speak to your Hyuga in private for a few minutes."
Hinata thought her heart would explode hearing that. Toneri himself seemed also a bit concerned and looked at his father with wide eyes.
" W-why? Can't you say what ever it is you have to say in my presence?" Toneri asked.
Toneri's father once again glared at his son. " Whats this, are you questioning your father?"
Toneri visibly tensed.
" I thought it would be only fitting to try to get to know my future daughter in law. I am also sure she has some questions for me. I don't want her to feel obligated to act a certain way because you are here" Toneri's father responded.
" Does that answer your question son?"
Toneri nodded and reluctantly got up from his seat. " I apologize father, i will take my leave then" he said with a bow. Hinata looked at him with wide eyes. Though she did not feel safe with Toneri it was much better than being with the king of Hyuga despisers.
Toneri gave her a gentle smile and took Hinata's hand. " You have nothing to worry about my dear, my father is a good man." Hinata could see coldness in Toneri's eyes when he stated this however.
" Nothing will happen to you i promise." Toneri then placed a soft kiss on the back of Hinata's hand. If this were a movie Hinata would have broke out in hives in that very moment.
She then watched as Toneri left her in the din with the wolf.
That stare once again rested on Hinata and she forcibly made eye contact.
" Let me enlighten you Hyuga about your place in this house." Toneri's Father stood up making Hinata even more on edge.
" I do not really care for your presence you are simply a pawn in my plan. A piece that i will eventually get rid of" He said as he paced the room.
" W-what do you mean" Hinata bravely asked.
Toneri's father looked at Hinata once again. " Did you really think i would willingly allow you to marry my son" he said through a chuckle.
" I rather rip out my own eyes and die then have that happen."
Hinata didn't dare to say it but that's exactly how she felt about marrying Toneri too.
" That kid has always disappointed me, but this..this is an all time low. Its disgusting. Of all the women in the world a Hyuga!?" He continued.
" But you marrying him helps my innocence. You see this whole war between Hyugas and Otsutsuki's continued because of me. I know very well what the Hyugas did to help us."
Hinata's eye's widened in shock. This bastard.
" Then why? Why manipulate these poor people? Why make them hate us? We Hyugas have been nothing, but kind to you yet you seem to have distain for us. Our families were friends were we not?" Hinata said.
Toneri's dad face the windows in the room. " You Hyuga's have always been on top. Friends? Don't make me laugh. We have always lived in your shadow's waiting for the opportunity to snatch your positions away from you."
He once again looked at Hinata. " But then we made a huge mistake that went public, further weaking our appearance. Then to top it all off the people we secretly despised had to save us. Do you realize how humiliating that is?"
Hinata didn't dare to answer him.
" So i took advantage of the weak state our family was in. I Became there voice of reason and filled there minds with my lies. It was quite easy thinking about it" he continued.
" And now your trying to get the money and power you believe should have belonged to you?" Hinata finished for him.
"Ah its seem's like you do have a working brain Hyuga" Toneri's Father said.
Hinata couldn't help but glare at him. He was a fool. A money hungry fool. His obsession with power had wedged family's apart and injured and messed with people psychologically. Those Gekkous were now machines of hatred. All because of selfishness.
" You have a lot of guts to be glaring at me like that" Toneri's father said with a cold look.
" Whats the point of even telling me this? I could easily go to Toneri and tell him all that you've done and your plan to get rid of me as soon as I'm no longer useful" Hinata said her glare not leaving her face.
Toneri's father slowly approached Hinata. Though she tried to resist it, that fear began setting in again as he drew closer and closer.
" Because i want to get in your head Hyuga" Toneri's father said towering over Hinata.
" You are weak right now and things will unfold that you can not control and that you will be apart of." Toneri's father came a bit closer to Hinata. " You will cry, scream, but you won't be able to do a thing and you will break."
Hinata felt chill's run down her spine as his voice shifted to a whisper.
" And before you know it you will be completely under my control just like everyone else."
He laughed seeing Hinata's reaction. " So go on tell my son. But keep in mind I've raised that boy by myself. I'm permanently lodged in his brain, he may despise me, but he cannot go against me no matter how hard he tries. He's a mindless vessel just like you shall be. You just haven't realized who's in control yet.
Toneri's father reached into his jacket and pulled out his cell phone with a wicked smirk. " Shall i give you an example?"
Toneri's father dialed a number and held the phone to his ear. " Let's see if that boy lived. Naruto was it?"
Hinata tensed at the very mention of Naruto's name. The remembrance of what happened to him made her weak. What ever he was planning she didn't like it.

" On three " Kiba said putting Naruto's arm over his shoulder. Sasuke nodded and did the same with Naruto's other arm.
" One. Two. THREE!"
Kiba and Sasuke pulled Naruto up to his feet attempting to be as careful as possible.
" Ah shit! Shit that hurts!" Naruto yelled as they pulled him.
" Can you stand?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto winced, " Y-yeah but it's killing me to take deep breaths and my head hurts like hell."
Kiba rolled his eyes. " Yeah i bet it's hard to breathe with messed up ribs. Listen if anything goes wrong remember this was your idea."
" I know that j-just help me out of here" Naruto responded with irregular breathing patterns.
" Where's my clothes?"
Sakura came over with a bag" Here, you guys help him get dressed."
Kiba and Sasuke's eyes went wide.
" There's no way in hell I'm touching him" Kiba objected, his arms then formed an X shape in front of himself.
Naruto glared at him. " Like i would let you touch me, just get my coat out of there and someone zip up my boots."
The other's complied and Sakura peeked into the hall way to make sure there was no one out there.
" The coast is clear come on lets hurry" she said.
Naruto nodded and pulled his hoodie over his head. Kiba and Sasuke once again let Naruto use them for support, while Sakura and Yue looked down each hall way for people.
" I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm gonna be a doctor for god sake this is wrong Sakura mumbled.
" Can it Sakura. I'll be fine" Naruto said limping behind her.
The group made a turn down the hallway leading to the exit where they finally incountered some people. Jiraiya down the hall was chatting up the very nurse he said he was going to get for Naruto. They all froze in there tracks.
Jiraiya laughed very loudly at something the nurse whispered in his ear. Catching them in the corner of his eye he turned to the group. His mouth opened wide and he was about to say something, untill Yue and Sakura put fingers to there lips and signaled for him to shut up.
The nurse too busy giggling away had yet to notice them.
Jiraiya nodded his head and pointed to the exit, signalling to them that he'd meet them out side.
The others nodded and Jiraiya quickly put his arm around the nurse turning her away from the group.
" Uh actually i think the room was 313, my mistake. In the mean time why don't you tell me more about yourself. You said your husband died years ago you must be so lonely" Jiraiya said walking away with the nurse.
Sakura and the others couldn't help but shake their heads in disappointment.
" He just doesn't stop does he? what a sckeeze " Naruto said. Thanks to Jiraiya's distraction the group was able to make it outside where the snow had stopped.
They moved quickly to Jiraiya's old truck, practically dragging Naruto and it wasn't too long before Jiraiya came running out of the hospital as well.
" No good guys" Jiraiya said entering his truck.
" What? Did something happen? Did they find out?"
Yue asked.
" No that nurse has like three kids, I'm not trying to be a dad so now i have to block her. Why is life so cruel to me" Jiraiya wined.
Naruto though injured, couldn't resist the urge to lash out at him. " Your fucking joking right? Life's cruel to you? Look at what the hell is happening to my life! You just have women on the brain twenty fou-
Naruto's phone began ringing loudly in his pocket. He shifted slightly to retrieve it sending pain shooting up his body. He stared at and unknown number on his screen. For some reason he got a sinking feeling.
He grunted as he moved his arm and lifted the phone to his ear.
" H-Hello?"
The others watched in curiosity as Naruto spoke into the phone.
" Ah it seems you have survived" an unknown voice said.
Naruto's face became stern. " Who the hell is this?" He replied sharply.
The voice on the end snickered. " O lets just say I'm the man who will be in control for now on."
The others watched Naruto's reactions and demanded answers.
" Naruto who is it?" Sakura asked noticing the way he began to shake.
Naruto said nothing and simply placed the phone on speaker.
" Why the silence ? Have you figured it out Naruto?" the voice said. " Should i help you out?"
Toneri's father back at the main house smiled with glee enjoying the interaction taking place. He looked at Hinata who was shaken. A mixure of fear and relief fell over her. Naruto wasn't dead but how was Toneri's father able to contact Naruto like that?
Toneri's father then suddenly snatched Hinata by the ear causing her to yelp in pain. He squeezed her ear and twisted it to the point Hinata had trouble staying silent.
" Go on speak Hyuga greet your friend" he said. He put a large amount of pressure on her ear forcing her to cry out.
" N-Naruto-kun" she said in broken pieces.
Naruto and his friends tensed on the other end realizing what was going on.
" Hinata!" They all cried out.
" Oh it seems your not alone " Toneri's father said. " Thats great." He further tightened his grip making Hinata yelp once again.
Naruto filled with anger " Don't hurt her you bastard!"
" Oh i won't " Toneri's father answered through a laugh " Unless you make me."
Naruto tried to contain his rage. " What do you want?"
" That's more like it" Toneri's father said releasing Hinata's ear.
Hinata grippped her ear and stared up at him in horror. She now understood what evil she was dealing with.
" You see Naruto, what i want is for you to be on your best behavior" he responded. " You probably now know who the source of your problems is and naturally you probably want to tell everyone."
" But if you want your friend here as well as her sister to be in one piece you might want to keep your trap shut" He continued.
" You see my son Toneri is a bit softer than i. I won't hesitate."
" So your the father huh? I guess crazy run's in the family" Naruto said.
Toneri's father laughed. " I'd watch my mouth if i were you. So no police, No contacting the Hyuga complex which by the way i have eyes all over. Just don't do anything stupid. Pass it on to your friends as well."
" Don't be so sure of yourself asshole. You think you've won but, its over when i say so " Naruto said. " I'm taking you and your damn son down. Hinata if your still there hang in there!"
Hinata looked at the phone and the anger on Toneri's father's face. She couldn't help but smile a bit. She assumed he wasn't use to being challenged.
" Do you hear me Hinata? we will find a way to get you and your sister out of there don't you worry " Naruto yelled.
Growing annoyed Toneri's father removed his phone from his ear. " This conversation is over you've been warned."
He then hung up and glared at Hinata.
" Get out of my sight i have nothing more to say to you."
Hinata didn't wait for him to ask twice. She scrambled to her feet and nearly ran out of the room. Before she could reach the room Toneri's father issued one last threat.
" You better not do anything foolish either Hyuga i have direct access to your sister. Keep that in mind."
Hinata didn't dare to look at him. She did however find herself nodding like some trained dog. That surprised herself. Had she really felt fear of him?
Outside Toneri paced up and down the hall way with a face filled with worry. Once he noticed Hinata he ran as fast as he could to greet her.
" Hinata-san thank goodness" he said pulling her into his arms.
He released her and held her shoulder." Are you ok? i heard you screaming in there? Father didn't do anything too brash did he?"
Hinata looked at him speechless. She still hadn't recovered from what transpired.
Toneri pushed her hair behind her ear. " Oh god your ear is all red and bruised, this is my fault."
Toneri took her hand and dragged her down the hallway. Gekkous turned there heads as they past them, yet Hinata remained in a daze.
Toneri pulled her into a room. In there he opened a draw and pulled out a medical kit. He placed some liquid on a cotton swab and asked Hinata to sit.
She complied and Toneri began to treat her ear.
" I've always wondered how you were able to treat injuries so well" Hinata said finally speaking.
Toneri froze for a moment at her words. " Yes i suppose i am pretty good at it." Toneri continued his treatment in silence once again.
Hinata looked up at him. She saw those same cold eyes from earlier. When he said his father was a " Good man."
" Your good at it because your use to doing it. Perhaps on yourself?" Hinata said.
Toneri closed the first aid kit and turned away from Hinata. " I apoligize for my father i didn't think he would get violent with you, but i should have expected that."
" Toneri.. your father has been violent with you as well?" Hinata asked.
Toneri began visibly shaking. Hinata took his silence as a yes.
" My father has only done what was needed to be done. I've failed him several times its only fair i get punished for it right?" Toneri said with his back to Hinata.
Hinata rose from her seating position and made a brave move toward Toneri. " No..it isn't right, there's a difference between reprimanding and abuse."
Toneri finally turned around. His eyes were still hazy. " You wouldn't understand, he did it to make me stronger and braver i was weak. I-i still am in some way's."
" Why do you put so much faith in him. A man who treats you so wrong should be sickening in your eyes, yet you seem to almost worship him. Your an adult now, you don't have to listen to him" Hinata said. She became even bolder and placed a hand on his shoulder.
" He is my Father, he's taken care of me. My mother died years ago he was the only one i had left. I owe it to him. I must be respectful. I must obey him" Toneri said. His words sounded almost rehearsed. Hinata could immediately see something was wrong here.
" Are those your words or his?" Hinata asked.
Toneri's eyes dulled even further, before he shut them and turned away from Hinata. " I don't want to have this talk."
Hinata was taken aback by his sudden coldness.
" This conversation is taking me to a dark place. I don't want to go back there. I don't want you to ever see me in that state. So please Hinata-san never speak to me about this again" Toneri said.
He looked back at her with his usual smile making Hinata raise an eyebrow.
" I will escort you back to your room now." Toneri then took off with out even waiting for Hinata. She supposed she hit a nerve.
She followed behind him in deep thought. It seems Toneri was more complex then she thought. His father wasn't lying when he said he had been controlling everyone.
And to her surprise Toneri was the star puppet in his play.
