Gakupo looked at the text that was sent out, he smirked. He just couldn't believe what he was reading. He now shrugged, thoughts ran through his head, as he now went and got ready for school. His clothes glided over his frame, he was remembering all of the good times with Luka. Their dances, their kisses. Of course they never really had sex, sure only once they got close. However, during that time Luka lied and told him she had to get home. Gakupo shook his head, he needed her. Though he needed her, he knew that if anyone else had her, he would want to kill them. Maybe that was the reason behind the blackmailing, to get Luka to himself again. But why? He wasn't there when she had been kidnapped, he wasn't there when she was raped and drugged. Surely, Luka ran to him and hugged him. Though that was the only thing. The person that was there for her was Miku. Gakupo wasn't even there for her when she aged another year. Truthfully, Gakupo was nothing but an asshole, that got what he wanted. He got Luka, he got his musical career. Now, there was only one thing he longed for; to have Luka to himself again.
Gakupo walked to school, then saw Miku. His soft hues looked towards the halls of the school, he didn't see Luka. Soon, he strutted in a fast pace towards Kaito, "Where is Luka?" He asked with a snarl,
"I don't know. Everyone is worried about her. Hell she wasn't here with Miku. Rin is sort of pissed. Hell, Gumi hasn't even shown up." Kaito shrugged, "Maybe Luka is playing another mind game." Kaito stated,
"Well, the text I received after me blackmailing her. Stated she would tell me who she was choosing today." Gakupo shrugged, "I am sure she will choose me." He smirked,
"Whoa, whoa. You blackmailed her?" Kaito asked, "Shit man, you are a fucking asshole. You have to realize that you are nothing but a fucking tool. Everyone hates you, and your music. Come on, listen to what you just said. We have been best friends for years. What since we were, five?" Kaito stated in what seemed a questioning tone, "I can't be your friend. I never really liked Luka, because she seemed cold and closed off. You, my 'friend', are nothing but a fucking asshole! I even hate you!" Kaito decked Gakupo in the face, "Go to hell, you fucking prick." Kaito stated, as he walked away from his 'friend'.
Gakupo wiped away the blood from his lip, "Asshole." Gakupo thought, as he walked to his class. His hues scanned the room, usually Luka was in his class, today? No, she hadn't been seen. "Where the hell is she? She better have chose me." Gakupo whispered beneath his breath,
"Do you have anything to say, Gakupo?" The teacher asked,
"No, sorry. Just thinking out loud." He stated in a cocky tone. Maybe the reason why Luka was so cold, was because of how Gakupo was. He was clingy, controlling, and filled with disdain. Gakupo looked at the clock, "Dammit, three more hours." He thought, "I swear to god, she better have chose me. I'll spill every fucking secret." He thought, "Every secret." He now heard the bell scream loudly in the room, and the hallways. Gakupo rose and walked out of the classroom, he saw a long time buddy, "Hey, man!" He chuckled as he saw Leon,
"Oh, hey." Leon stated, "Whats up?" He asked,
"Not a damn thing, I talked to Luka." He began now he lied, "She told me she was torn between me and Miku. So, today she was going to tell us who she wants to spend her life with." Gakupo stated, "I guess it is amazing, how I can touch people's hearts." Gakupo whispered, "Aren't I awesome?" He asked,
"Sure, Gakupo. Kaito told me everything. I hope Luka chooses Miku." Leon put another book into his locker, "I don't know if you hadn't seen. How she acts when she is around Miku. Shit, I haven't seen Luka this damn happy, since we were kids. Once she got with you, everything changed. She had to force a smile. Force a laugh. Hell, force a kiss on your fucking tainted lips. No wonder everyone hates you." Leon slammed his locker, "You are nothing but a spit drop on the sidewalk. Who makes Luka happy, why don't you ask yourself that. Because I can tell you, its not you." Leon shook his head and walked away,
"You'll see. It'll be me." Gakupo rolled his eyes, then went to his next class.

Miku awoke with a stretch, Miku had gotten a text from Luka. Her text stated they needed to talk. Of course Miku was nervous, last time Luka stated those words, Luka ended things with Miku. Then of course, ended up with Luka in the Emergency Room. Miku played the strong face, as she walked down the stairs to eat breakfast, her heart was like rain hitting the ground, or even the roof. Her heart felt like sinking, tears wanted to roll away from her eyes, yet she couldn't do this in front of her mother. She knew that her mother would get pissed at Luka, and Miku didn't even know what Luka had to speak with her about. Miku slowly stood from the table after she was done eating. Soon the petite female was in the shower, tears now cascaded downward in the drain with the warm water that poured away from the shower head, "Please, Luka...Please don't leave me again. I couldn't bare it the first time, this time would certainly kill me. I love you, Luka. PLEASE!" Miku thought, as she thought those words her hands balled up into fists, she then hit the wall of the shower.
Miku soon left the shower, and dried herself off. Soon, she was getting ready school, the young female began to put on make-up. She was trying to to have people to avert their eyes from the eyes that were now puffy from her crying. "Luka...I can't lose you." Miku thought, as she now slowly stood, Miku could swear she could feel Luka's arms around her. She could feel every kiss and every touch of Luka's fingertips against her flesh, "Please be a good talk..." Miku thought, as she walked to school, she looked up. She could have sworn the clouds wanted to open and began to cry against her. Miku saw Rin run up to her, "Oh, hey Rin." Miku whispered,
"Where is Luka?" Rin asked with a smile, then the smile faded away, "Did you two break up again?" Rin asked, "Miku?"
"I don't know where she is. She sent me a text saying we need to talk and she will talk me at lunch." Miku whispered, "What if she is breaking up with again?" Miku asked,
"I doubt it. She loves you too much, to let you go again. She needs you. Maybe it is good news." Rin whispered, "Maybe she just needs to find the words to say it." Rin whispered, "Please, Luka do not leave Miku again." Rin thought as she watched her best friend walk away.
"What's wrong with Miku?" Len asked,
"I don't know. We will find out at lunch." Rin replied, as she now watched Miku walk to her class,
Miku sat there in the class, she constantly looked at the empty seat where Luka usually sat in. She couldn't concentrated on the class or the problems that were being written on the board. Miku felt tears rolling away from the corner of her eyes, "I love you, Luka." Miku whispered, everyone turned to look at her, "Sorry..." Miku whispered as she sank a little in her seat. Miku looked at the tree that was outside, she remembered them eating lunch beneath the shadowed area that the tree gave. Laughing and smiling. Miku tried to breathe, soon she bolted to the bathroom. She opened then slammed the stall door. Miku slid down the metal door, with knees against her chest, she cried only harder. Miku stopped her crying, as she heard someone walk in. Miku slowly stood and walked out of the stall, and wiped away her tears that still lingered against her features. As she was walking out, she felt her arm getting grabbed, "Let go...Oh...Meiko." Miku whispered,
"What's wrong?" Meiko asked,
"Luka 'needs' to talk. Last time, it ended up with us breaking up. And ended up us rushing to the hospital." Miku whispered,
"I doubt Luka is going to do that again. Look, Miku. She loves you, and she needs you." Meiko began, "Miku, when she pretending to be the other girl just to talk you on the phone. She would call me, laughing and hell, I didn't need to see it. I knew she was smiling. Miku, you bring the best out of Luka. She needs you, and she would die, if she ever lost you. Look, at how far she went after breaking up with you. She tried killing herself. Miku. Its you. No one else. Its you. You are the one that completes her." Meiko finally released Miku's arm, "Now, be a trooper. And wait for her to walk up to you, and say; 'Miku, I am in love with you'." Meiko saw Miku smile briefly, then watched her walk away, "Oh, Luka please let talk be a good one." Meiko thought.
Miku finally heard the bell, only an hour lingered away from finding out what Luka needed to talk her about. Miku was almost panicking now. She could feel her heart wanting to explode. She could feel her hands shaking, she felt like throwing up, because her stomach was in knots. When someone is nervous, that hour rolls away so fast. Miku saw a table that was set up for her and Gakupo in the cafeteria, "What is going on?" Miku thought, "Oh...No...No god please...No...She is going to choose Gakupo." Miku thought,

Luka awaited for Miku to leave the house, she now walked to the door. She knocked lightly, then saw the door open, "Miss Hatsune. May I speak to you?" Luka asked, then was welcomed in the house, "I am scared." Luka mustered as she sat down, then took the small cup of tea, "What do I do?" Luka asked,
"What is going on?" Akemi asked,
"My heart belongs to Miku, and only her. Yesterday, Gakupo came up to me. Then blackmailed me, telling me if I don't end things with Miku, he would tell the world all of my secrets. So, I am here to tell you what they are. I told Masamuto that I couldn't work with, I claimed that she was a 'childish brat', and it was either me or her. He chose me, seeing I would sing in English and Japanese. I called her a teal haired freak, because I didn't want to show how guilty I truly was. I hated doing that to her. Honestly, I had the hugest crush on her, I just couldn't come out to the world, or even accept it myself. I did some horrible things to her. I know this. I lied to her, by pretending to be Amaya. That was the only way to talk to her, until I could, myself, open up to her. Once I did, I felt happy. Another secret that will be exposed that my parents, my biological parents are dead. The family I live with are not my true parents. In fact their last name is not Megurine. I was allowed to keep my real last name. Gakupo plans onto telling a social worker that my parents hate me, and always abandon me. This could lead to me going back to foster care. This would also lead me to losing Miku all over again." Luka whispered, as tears now splashed the tea upward,
"That's it? Those are your secrets? First, and foremost, my daughter will forgive you for you 'ruining' her career. Do you know that she looks up to you, she thinks you are amazing. She knew that Masamuto chose you over her. She didn't know that you may have practically told him to get rid of her. If Gakupo exposes this about your parents. Then, Luka, you are always welcome here. I'll take you in. Why? Because Miku can not lose you again. She dealt with that once. In fact she almost lost you for good, as in you almost died. My daughter is truly in love with you. You see, you bring out the best in Miku, as Miku does this for you. There is no choosing. You have already made up your mind. I know who you have chosen. And I am sure Claude, Josie, and Violet would take you in as their own. Have they not already?" Akemi smiled, "Now, stop procrastinating and go get the one you truly love." Akemi watched the pink haired diva rest the tea cup against the table, and bolt out the door.

Luka was running for her life, as she now looked at her watch. The smile began to form on her lips, as she continued to run. She had already picked the one last night. Luka rushed to lunch room, but first she stopped to take a moment to breathe, she saw Rin and Len, "Get out of my way." Luka stated,
"No, your..." Rin was cut off as she pushed out of the way, she watched Luka walk in, she then turned towards Len then shrugged. She now saw Gumi, "Where have you been?" Rin saw Gumi smiling so very wide, this actually scared her.
Luka now stood on the table behind that had Miku and Gakupo sitting there, "EVERYONE! I NEED YOUR ATTENTION!" Luka screamed, everyone stopped, Luka now smiled towards both, "You two mean so much to me. But...There is one person that means the most to me. You see this person came into my life. From them, I learned how to smile, I learned how to laugh. Hell, I learned how to sing again. I had given up on so many things. But...This person has given me a whole new reason to keep going on. I never thought in a million years that I would have found happiness again. From..." Luka looked at Gakupo and gave him a quick wink, "Losing my biological parents in a car accident, to.." She now looked to Miku, "Telling Masamuto that I couldn't work with a 'childish brat'. But here is the truth. I am in head over heels in love. I couldn't and wouldn't be here without this one person. I need this person, more than I need air. I need this person, more than the flowers need the sun and bees to make the flowers to bloom. I need this person, more the moon needs the stars. But more importantly, I need this person, more than I need to live." Luka stated then stood before Gakupo, "I guess the secret is out." She smirked, "And this person is..." She took Miku's hand then pulled her into a warm and loving embrace, "Miku." Luka stated before kissing Miku passionately, everyone in the cafeteria cheered. Soon Luka felt Miku's arms slowly wrap around her neck,
Gakupo snarled then was stopped by Kaito, "You know how you said she would choose you. I guess she did choose one thing with you. She chose to live without you." Kaito laughed, then watched Gakupo walk out of the cafeteria, "Good choice, Luka." Kaito thought,
Miku pulled away from the kiss, "Luka, I don't care that...Well, my career was taken away, I was a 'childish brat'. But in the end I may have lost that. But in the long run I gained a lot more. I gained something I, myself, can never life without. You." Miku whispered then kissed Luka once again, everyone couldn't look away from the love that continued to blossom in the cafeteria. People even began to applaud the couple. Miku felt Luka pull away,
"Why don't we get the hell out of here?" Luka asked as she saw her girlfriend nod, "Sorry for interrupting everyone's lunch." Luka snickered then ran out of the cafeteria hand in hand with Miku. This was a new leaf that Luka needed to turn. She didn't care what Gakupo had on her, she didn't care not the lease bit. Why? Because she had everything she needed. A family, and the most beautiful thing that only one person could truly give her. Love. Luka got in her car and drove off with Miku. Sadly, some secrets are best kept just that a secret. How far would Gakupo go to ruin the very best thing in Luka's life? How far would he push the envelop to get what he wanted? Who knows, but there is one thing we all know. Luka and Miku have found something that only each other could give, true and pure love.
