However, on the plus side, IT WAS MY ANNIVERSARY! *CONTINUES TO BLARES OUT HARDCORE PARTY MUSIC*

What I meant was: On the 17th of November only a year ago, I decided to search about this weird film I kept hearing about called 'Rise of the Guardians' and came across some trailer on YouTube. At that incredible moment, when I saw that trailer for the first time, I felt like my entire life changed for the better.

Also, IT'S THE FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE PUBLISHING OF 'VISIBLE' IN ONLY 2 DAYS!! I plan for a way to celebrate, but that will get a whole Author's Note when I think up of what to do to celebrate.

...

Reviews will be replied in the bottom Author's note from now on.

~Disclaimer: I do not own 'Rise of the Guardians' (even though it's my anniversary and I thought they might give me the copyrights as a present. Apparently not *pouts*) or anything else recognizable. However, I do own Andrea Fawcett, Ethan, any other Original Characters, and this stories entire plot.

Now that's all over with, ONWARDS!

After the breaking mirror incident, Andrea had done everything humanly possible to avoid reflective surfaces. All the glasses or polished items in her room got covered in any fabric she can find, and she keeps her curtains out to prevent the windows from freaking her out too.

Also, she's came akin to sleeping pills. Strong sleeping pills. Andrea has gotten to the habit of taken the strongest dose she can (without harming herself, of course) so she could be unconscious quickly and go through a peaceful, dreamless sleep every night.

However, she forgot about that fact that, once she was asleep on those pills, it's difficult to awaken before she wanted to.

"Oi!" A voice cried, piercing through the tranquil of her mind, "Get up, idiot, before I chuck you out of this bed."

Andrea grumbled, unknowingly turning her body over to bury her face into her pillow to try to block out the shouting.

"Oh, Moon above." The voice muttered, "Look, if you don't get up, I'll get a mirror out on you and-"

The person couldn't finish their sentence. Andrea fell out of her bed, arms flailing in panic as she rolled out of her covers and collapse on to the wooden floor.

Groaning, Andrea cranked her eyes open to glance upwards, only to have vibrant brown eyes peer down at her.

"I fucking hate you." Andrea spoke with a croak, but the frown she had should have been enough for dear Katherine to understand. "I really do hate you."

"You really don't have a liking for mirrors, do you?" Was all Katherine replied with, before casually walking away as Andrea remaining on the floor like a sleepy moron. "Also, good morning to you too."

"Was that sarcasm again?" Andrea talked as she got up, twisting her wrists and neck to hear a relieving 'click' of her bones. Katherine looked disgusted by the noise, which made Andrea's mood lighten up slightly.

"The Guardians were discussing in the Globe Room, they've all attempted to wake you individually before the meeting but obviously failed. Even Jack throwing snowballs at you didn't work like it usually does."

So that was why her pajamas felt so cold. "Well, I had a great night sleep, which is all I care about at the moment."

Katherine rolled her eyes, "This meeting was important, Andrea! You should have been apart of it and not lazing about in your bed. Now, because of your long-term sleep, they've probably decided everything without you!"

"Okay okay, I get it! Sheesh." Andrea burst into action. If the wayward spirit was being that snappy at her because of the meeting, then it must have been pretty important. "Do you know what the meeting was about?" Andrea asked Katherine as she rushed about.

"Yes I do, but I'm not telling you because you should have got your ass into gear to be part of the meeting without me!" Katherine snapped as she sat down on Andrea's bed, witnessing her darting about the room with a sly grin.

Within five minutes, Andrea was out of her room and sprinting down the halls. 'This reminds me of the goddamn tutor classes I had to go to when Auntie was away...' Andrea thought as she went past a window of frosted glass and halted to reverse then look at it.

"Oh, sure, because looking at yourself in distorted glass is really gonna help." Katherine commented as she trailed behind her, while Andrea tried to make piece together the scattered image in the window, "You look fine, why do you care?"

"I'll prefer not to walk in like I've almost died! They've already seen me like that at least..." Andrea paused, "Urgh, I've lost count!"

Katherine chuckled, "Weren't you supposed to be rushing off to somewhere?" She questioned with a teasing tone, "You know what would help? Taking a shortcut. And the perfect shortcut to the Globe Room is by going through the workshop."

Andrea glared at her, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

"Who wouldn't?" Andrea ran off again as Katherine followed, not even slightly fatigued by all the sprinting she had to do to catch up with Andrea. "A door to the workshop is through the next corridor on your right. You'll enter the left-wing, and only have to go through the testing area before you'd reach a staircase leading up to the Globe Room above." Katherine explained as they raced along.

Andrea had two choice: Go the longer way that she knows off by heart, or trust the ghost that is her 'common sense' and follow a route she's never been on before and might probably get lost...

Well. Katherine was her 'common sense' for a reason, and Andrea was trying to reassure herself that when she turns to the first archway on her right, following Katherine's instructions.

Rushing down the hallway with Katherine on her tail, Andrea targeted the set of doors straight ahead of her and didn't hesitate to swing them up with a quick push. Seemed like at that very moment an imaginary wall made of surprise and confusion sent her stumbling backwards by a few dazed steps, her breath gone with a gasp as her mouth fell open.

Bright lights lit up the hallway in vibrant colours, a golden hue blinding enough that Andrea had to squint despite her protest to keep them wide open. Gigantic work-benches placed everywhere, stretching from beyond Andrea's line of vision; toys whizzed about in the air and clattered about on the work-benches, the noises not giving Andrea an instant migraine for once in her life. Yetis moved about, painting, building, and wrapping everything placed upon their work tables.

"You should probably close that mouth, Annie." Katherine teased as she skipped straight into the room and past Andrea, completely unruffled by the magnificence the place in front of them was, "A frog will jump in that gap if you don't close it."

"I thought the term was 'flies'?" Andrea said while she shook her head viciously, trying to eliminate the trance clouding her thoughts. That failed once she took in the workshop again, its brilliance and magic pulling her mind back under.

"Well, your mouth is big enough for both." The wayward spirit insulted, but got deaf ears as Andrea gazed. Katherine made a tutting noise before clasping hold of Andrea's wrist and beginning to tug her away from the doorway and into the workshop towering before her. "Come on, Annie. You're late to the meeting as it is."

"I- It's just so..." Andrea stuttered out as she peered up at the wooden beams far above her head, her vision spinning as she twirled her feet to take in the place in one go. Yetis gave her quick glances and a grunt, while elves charged right for her and attacked her legs but went away in disappointment after Andrea did not acknowledge them.

Toys constantly blasted past Andrea's, missing her head or ears by just a centimeter or less. Tiny cars whizzed about and plastic robots scattered past her combat boots to journey further into the workshop like she was. It took Andrea an incredibly - almost stupidly - long time to realize the globe, which glittered with millions of golden lights upon its surface.

The magnificent sphere rotated high above the workshop, standing in the heart of the place like a beacon and reminder to everybody (and every-yeti) of what this was all for. Andrea gave a content smile at the globe, which peered down at with its winking lights.

"Incoming." Katherine warned, Andrea giving her a confused glance before something suddenly appeared before her and made her yelp in shock.

"Need a lift?" Jack causally said as he hung upside-down in the air, flashing her a mischievous grin as he watched her give narrow, annoyed eyes.

Obviously, she was gonna say no to Jack's question and try to find the way to the globe room then climb up the who-knows-how-many stairs to reach it. Also, she'll secretly wanted to take longer on the journey and continue exploring the workshop while everybody thought she was coming. Besides, can't she just spend a few minutes of her possibly short life in such a beautiful place?

Apparently not, since the irritating Winter Spirit decided to clutch hold of Andrea's arms and flung her into the air. She screamed as she got tossed into the air, away from the causal safety of the ground. Andrea didn't stay high up long enough for gravity to take its toll for Jack already got hold of her, clasping her arms again to whisk them into the air.

"God fucking damn you!" Andrea yelled at the chuckling Spirit of Winter, "It's too early in the day for this!"

"Andrea, it's midday!" Jack exclaimed as he let out another series of laughs as they flew higher in the air, reaching the globe and still climbing height. Andrea huffed in annoyance and defeat, slumping into Jack's hold when she began to relax and understand that he won't drop her (hopefully).

The balcony overlooking the workshop far below advanced closer and closer as they both hovered higher into the air. Being a fool, Andrea glanced below to see the ground far underneath her. The yetis were puny from above compared to their true strong, frightening size and any elves wandering about looked like specks of red in the mass of chaos. A shuddering breath escaped from her throat as her chest tightened, just almost seeing the world around her blurring as Jack's grip slips and she plummets to her death.

Luckily, that didn't happen. In fact, the idea of crashing to her death within the merciless grasp of gravity made her clutch hold of Jack's hoodie for an extra guarantee of not falling. Like always, his hoodie was terribly cold and made her hands cramp up as the frost upon the fabric threatened to freeze her hands off.

Once she got over the bitterness of the hoodie, the cold actually felt rather nice. Jack had that odd thing about him - people always believe he's cold as death, but it's almost the opposite. He radiates a cold that you enjoy. Like the cold in a quick rush of air when you walk home in the evening; the bitter feelings that makes your cheeks rosy but not numb; the breeze that passes through on a boiling hot, summer day that makes you sigh in relief. It was a nice cold. And the fact she got used to the cold the Winter Spirit radiates somewhat proves how much time they've truly spent around each other.

Wow...she was really getting into detail about this. She only just woke up, her mind shouldn't babble on about small details like this when she's only been awake for a few minutes. Shaking her head, Andrea tried to remove the thoughts and details from her head to pay attention to the vast area around them.

The balcony came and went swiftly, now Jack and her were hovering about the Globe Room and its features. The main meeting room greeted them warmly, a crackling fire alit in the stone fireplace in the distance and a group of chattering Guardians waiting for their arrival.

Okay, maybe chattering is an understatement for the rapid conversation they were having. Also, they actually didn't notice her and the Spirit of Winter's arrival even after she touched down on the ground in front of them with Jack landing a second after.

Minutes dragged on and on as Andrea and Jack waited for the Guardian's to notice, distracting themselves by doing little things. They tapped their foot, hummed, and shifted constantly to dim down the boredom and preserve their wearing down patience. Both did each action in such harmony that they got crept out each time they hit their heel on the ground at the same time, or hummed the same beat, or did the same movement. However, no matter what they both did to prevent it, they kept doing everything simultaneously.

No longer able to simply stand and wait anymore, Andrea finally took a step forward. She violently cleared her throat in hope it would gain their attention, only to receive nothing. Many more actions came: throwing arms in the air, jumping, making strange noises - yet all of them didn't distract the Guardians from their in-depth conversation.

Her patience finally broke. "Guys, are you bloody kidding me?!" She cried, her voice echoing throughout the room and possibly the entire workshop below.

The Guardians became silent at that moment, all glancing at Andrea as she glared at them. Jack sniggered, getting the glare turned on him to make the laugh get caught in his throat.

"If you guys are just gonna keep talking by yourselves, then I will gladly return to bed." She liked her bed, and she'd most definitely preferred there then the Globe Room. Maybe she was a bit grouty from having to get up without her own consent, but being ignored isn't exactly a thing you wouldn't get frustrated about.

"Yeah, hey." Jack piped in, "Andrea's awake, as you can obviously tell."

"Ah, Andrea!" North exclaimed, spreading his arms wide. "Pleasure to finally see you awake. How was sleep?"

She puffed a breath through her lips. "It was great...until I got woken up." She grumbled, stuffing her hands into the pockets of her jeans and she scowled.

Okay, wooh, she was pulling a bit of a 'cliché teenager' here. At realization of how she must have looked, her hands quickly retracted from her pockets and she began pacing across the room. "So..." She began, glancing at the decor and ceiling of the Globe Room nonchalantly as she walked. "Apparently there was a meeting that I missed. Care to tell me what the meeting was about?" She asked, turning on the heels of her shoes to look at the Guardians.

"Well, we were actually talking about the meeting." Tooth swooped in (literally and metaphorically) to the conversation, her wings buzzing from movement. "We were making sure if what we decided was all agreed to on when Jack flew off to, well, pick you up." Andrea could tell by Tooth's grin at that moment meant the pun was definitely intended.

Andrea chuckled at the pun, "May I know what you decided upon? Also, could I add my opinion to it?"

Tooth opened her mouth to begin talking, but the words got caught in her lips as Sandy hovered by them. He smiled gleefully, as if whatever they were talking about during the meeting was the best thing for him. Opening his palms in a casual gesture, picture formed over his head as he started to explain.

A hand formed, pointing down at his spiky, golden hair, "You...," The hand then pointed at herself, "me...," Then it aimed at Jack, who was leaning on his staff and oblivious to the interactions, "and Jack. I wonder where this is going." She added as the sand-hand dispersed and got replaced with a plane that flew forward and whizzed round her head, "You, me, and Jack are going to fly..." The plane vanished, being crafted into an island of odd angles and curves, "Urh...okay, I have no idea what that image means."

Sandy slumped, before pointing at himself with his chubby hands and formed a house of dreamsand."Your...house? Sandy, you don't have a house you have a- Oh, realm!" Andrea exclaimed as Sandy threw his hands up in victory. "You, me, and Jack are going to fly to your realm!" Sandy nodded in enthusiasm. "We're going to your realm?!" he nodded again, grin widening, "Oh my Moon, I'm gonna see your realm!"

"I'm coming too, you know." Jack cut in, finally paying attention to the conversation. "Beside, it's not exactly gonna be a day trip. We're going to get the stardust that Sandy has while the others find whatever's left in their realms."

Hazel eyes narrowed at the Winter Spirit, "For a Guardian of Fun, you really have a thing for being a killjoy." She commented as she bounced on her toes in excitement.

Many times Andrea's imagination has diddled off to what she portrayed as Sandy's realm. A glistening castle of dreamsand with cloud of twinkling gold hovering above; a floating boat the size of a whale drifting through the night skies, pouring dreamsand towards the cities of slumbering children below. Her interpretation of the place was endless because it literally seems the place that dreams got made from, so she can't help but endlessly picture it.

But, now, she finally gets to visit the place. She'll be able to see the land of dreams with her own eyes. It was such a great thought that made her heart warm like it did when she saw North's Workshop, Tooth's Palace, and Bunny's Warren for the first ever time.

A smile unknowingly came upon her face as her mind continued to aimlessly imagine what the realm of the Guardian of Dreams was like. With a swift jerking of her head, she brought her mind back to the grinning Sandman still floating in front of her.

"So, when are we going? I'm practically ready right now, I just need my staff and then we could be on her way!" The words tumbled out of her mouth so quick that she'll be surprised if anybody understood. However, Sandy simply nodded at her and tapped an imaginary watch on his wrist. "Oh, right, okay!"

Flexing out her hand, a quick flash of light happened as her loyal staff appeared in her clutching hand. Andrea will admit, she loves summoning her staff so dramatically every time.

But tiredness suddenly wracked into her like a frigid train, her vision blurring abruptly while her mind exploded in agony. Before she could even sway on her feet or cry out in pain, it was all gone. Her eyes were clear and focused again, and no unbearable pain could be felt.

Andrea became confused, searching around to see if anybody notice her sudden change of posture and expression after that sudden event. Everybody was still casual, no worried or confused expressions, nothing. The urge of panic rose in her, until something was suddenly dropped upon her neck.

"You forgot something, dumbass." Katherine's voice teased as Andrea glanced down to see the stardust necklace hanging from her neck. The wayward spirit slid in front of her, brown eyes stormy and glistening, as she slipped the bangles round Andrea's wrists.

Katherine glanced up to meet her eyes and Andrea's heart seemed to plunge to the floor when Katherine frowned at her, brow creased and irises full of concern. "You alright there, Annie?" She asked, her voice oozing worry.

Unfortunately, Andrea had no idea how to reply to Katherine's question. Sure, she could simply talk to Katherine but the Guardians were around them, and they'll probably think Andrea's gone insane since they can't see Katherine. They'll believe she's talking to thin air, which is a problem Andrea prefered not to suffer with at the moment.

Glancing behind her to see a thick, wooden beam behind her. Tapestries around the beam made the shadows beyond it dark, large and deceptive. Andrea scanned the Guardians, checking to if they were looking at her to notice her disappear. Luckily, they weren't, so Andrea crept to the shadows until she was hidden.

Katherine followed after her and stood in front of her, scanning Andrea's eyes for anything that might make her even more paranoid. Andrea watched as the wayward spirit's vision went to the area surrounding Andrea as if they were something around her. Andrea glanced over her shoulder, her arms, and feet to notice what Katherine was staring at to see nothing.

"What's wrong?" Andrea asked, "Why are you looking around me? Is there something on me -"

"What happened?" Katherine interrupted, her voice cold and sharp.

One of Andrea's eyebrows rose up in confusion, "What do you mean? Nothing has happened?"

"Yes, something must have happened. It's obvious. What have you done? Have you done anything rather energy-draining? Summoned something? Had a long vision -"

"Wooh, wooh. Katherine, slow down. I'm fine." Andrea reassured with a hushed tone, "What do you mean 'it's obvious'? What is obvious? Is there something wrong that I'm not seeing?"

Her face was dead, Katherine's expression clear of everything. A pause came between them, before Katherine shook her head and gave a bright smile, "Ignore me, I'm just being stupid. Anyway, are you okay?"

The smile was false and Andrea knew it. Why the wayward spirit was faking a smile, Andrea couldn't understand...and she wasn't sure she wanted to know. "I'm fine, Katherine, honestly. I'm about to head off with Sandy and Jack to retrieve some stardust."

Giving a small nod, Katherine became more bubbling and happy, "That's good!" Andrea's stomach squirmed because of how false the girl was being and the reason behind it was unclear. Paranoia bloomed in her mind, but she pushed it away to play Katherine's fake game.

"Yeah, well, thank you for bringing my things. We can head off straight away." To prove her point, Andrea flicked her wrists so the bangles extended into the vambraces, the metal glistening. "Now, I better get going." Andrea said, turning on her heels to leaving the shadows of the wooden beam.

"Andrea..." Katherine called, her voice tender and almost childish. Andrea gave a look over her shoulder to show she was listening, "Be careful, okay. Don't use your powers unless you have to."

That advice caused more questions, more worry and more panic, but Andrea simply swallowed it down like a bitter pill and gave a stern, single nod before pacing off again.

Before she even stepped out of the shadows, her arm was suddenly clasped by a pale hand. A complaint was about to get spoken from Andrew until she was abruptly rocketed skywards. A shrill scream escaped from Andrea as she got whisked into the air as the Winter Spirit clutching her wrist and laughed unbearably.

"Jack!" She cried as she reached higher and higher in almost impossible speeds, flying high above the globe and far from the meeting room below. "Jack, put me down you fucking -!"

"Heads up!" Jack exclaimed before a blast of vicious wind gave her extra power to whiz so higher so quickly that the Spirit of Winter actually let go off her wrist, leaving her to fly in the air.

Despite her raw, burning throat, Andrea was still able to scream in horror as she blasted through the open skylight on the ceiling and escape into the outside world. The sudden surge of bitter, piercing air whisked away any tiredness she still had and left her shivering.

Her lack of fatigue made her pay more attention to the fact she was high in the skies and now far above the roofs of the North Pole. Panic came as she the feeling of flying became the horrid pull of plummeting. Screams of utter fear echoed through the clouds as gravity took its toll, sending her to the icy ground.

That experience of squashing Andrea could almost feel never happened, however. Instead, she collided into a cloud but didn't fall. Okay, she found that strange, since the other clouds weren't like that when she was falling. Andrea glanced about, her chest heaving for breath as her threatened to explode.

It wasn't a cloud. Sure, it's shaped like a cloud, but it sparkled like gold and felt like tiny grains of sand. The amber, glittering sand puffed out from the surface of the cloud, moving around Andrea in such elegant swirls that it put her into a calming trance.

While her head began to spin from staring at the moving sand for so long, the cloud began to slowly drift through the skies. The daze broke once Andrea started to realize that the cloud of Dreamsand was moving to in an unknown direction. Hazel eyes peered around her to simply see bright blue skies and fluffy, white cloud yet nothing else. Unsurprisingly, Andrea didn't dare look down for obvious reasons.

The amount of sand curving and spinning around her increased as a shadow overpowered her tiny, golden cloud. Andrea peered up to see a giant surface of shimmering sand above her head with a hole big enough for her little cloud to slot into. Rising upwards, the cloud turned into something different before her eyes. A chair formed underneath her, forcing her to sit as a seat-belt clasped round her waist.

Dreamsand surrounded her as her cloud locked into the gap, becoming one with the surface. Walls of dreamsand enclosed Andrea as another seat made of the golden substance blocked her front line of vision.

"Took your time!" She heard the Guardian of Fun exclaim as his head popped up from above the seat ahead. His grin was stupidly wide and mischievous. "We thought the cloud Sandy made didn't actually catch -"

Next thing you know, his head got smacked into the back of his seat. Andrea clutched his ivory hair in an inescapable grip as she smashed him into his chair repeatedly. "You motherfucking son of a goddamn bitch!" She exclaimed as she released Jack, almost sending him falling backwards. "What the fucking hell was that for?!"

Jack seemed rather green and sickly as he attempted to open his mouth to reply but failed. It took a moment before a sound could be heard from the Winter Spirit. But, after shaking his head, he finally spoke understandable words. "Tha-...That's what you get for calling me a killjoy."

"Oh, you little fucking -!"

A booming, piercing bell cut Andrea off before she could begin ranting. Tracing the source of the noise, Andrea saw Sandy glaring at the two of them with a string of tiny bells in his chubby hands. Dropping the bells, her pointed at both of them with a stern expression, sending Jack and herself back to their seats. He then smiled at them, gave a thumbs up and fastened a pair of amber goggles over his eyes.

Andrea fiddled with her seat-belt, shortening it to almost killing length. At least we was sure she won't escape her seat anytime soon. Unless her seat-belt suddenly breaks, or her chair collapses, or the sand holding them all up in the sky disperses without warning...

Yep, Andrea was perfectly fine. Not scared or paranoid at all.

The sound of engines buzzed into life, turbines spinning from a place Andrea couldn't see. She thought about peering over the walls to see the source of the engines and turbines, but instantly went against it for that meant she'd have to see how high she actually was.

"Welcome to Sandy Airlines!" Jack claimed from his seat, "Please keep all hands, feet and heads inside the vehicle at all times, and make sure all belongings are with you. We recommend you bunk up by using your dreamsand seat-belt, but it would be practically useless since Andrea will probably fall to her death anyway."

"Jack, I have a sword and I'm not afraid to fukcing use it." Andrea warned, but only got a laugh from the Winter Spirit as the dreamsand plane (Well, that's what Andrea guessed it was. It could probably be anything for all she knows) began to fly forward.

The plane slowly drifted through the skies, clouds barely passing them as Andrea instantly became dull. "Uh, Sandy? Do you think we could -"

Wind rushed through past her face as the plane blasted forward abruptly, sending Andrea crying in surprise. The skies flew right past them as the plane reached rapid speed. The Guardian of Fun's laugh echoed around them despite the wind blasting it away, and Andrea was positive that Sandy was also (silently) laughing from the front. Andrea's screams morphed into giggles before she could stop it, her laugh joining in with Jack's as they flew through the skies towards the Sandy's Realm.

Unknown to them, shadows trailed behind their plane as the North Pole was far behind them. Everybody was completely oblivious to the threat following after them, and the shadows planned to keep it that way until...the last...moment.
