Chapter 21: Wings
~Time Skip One Months~
~Lucy Pov~
Juvia and Rogue still haven't returned. I'm getting worried. I pace around my room, slightly humming. My door open and Sting comes in.
"Hey baby it's time to feed Jewel." Sting greeted. I nodded. Before I could leave Sting closed my door.
"Sting come on I have to feed Jewel." I said.
"How much do you want to get past me." He whispered seductively in my ear. He had a wicked gleam in his eyes. I brought my lips to his and kissed him sweetly. In one swift motion my back to pressed to the door. He kissed down my jawline to my color bone. He kissed my lips gently and then stopped.
"Hey what's wrong? It's not like you to stop." I asked. He sighed.
"I'm just worried about Rogue. How many demon fairies and elite fairies can you call out?" He questioned. I thought for a moment.
"Five demon, a and all elite, why?" I asked.
"Your going to have them watch Jewel. I just heard Edelina say she wanted to take Jewel." He said. I nodded.
"Okay I will, but let's go feed Jewel." I said. It was getting late. I feed Jewel and sighed. Edelina has to after Jewel. I finished and put her back in her crib. I looked outside. It was almost midnight. I hurried and summoned the fairies.
"Watch Jeweliana. Don't let anyone near her please." I said. They nodded. "Come on Sting. We need to get to bed." I said. I walked over to him. He looked at me and picked me up, carrying me princess style.
"Sting!" I giggled. He put me down in my room. I closed the door leaving it slightly cracked. Sting pulled off his shirt and I threw him his pajamas bottoms. I walked in my closet and grabbed my purple spaghetti strap top and black shorts. I quickly put it on.
"I love it when you dress sexy." Sting said as soon as I got in the room.
"Don't I always." I teased. He pulled me close to him and capture my lips with a passionate kiss. He took my hands into his and kiss them softly.
"I love you Lucy." He said.
"I love you Sting." I said. I kissed him nd then crawled in bed. I snuggled into Sting chest and wrapped his arm around my waist. I soon fell asleep to the rhythm of his breathing.
~Time Skip Next Day~
"..cy!"
".ucy!"
"Lucy!" Someone shouted. My eyes flutter open and I sit up. Sting stirs beside me and tightens his grip on me. I shook him and he sits up.
"What do you want? I was in the middle of sleeping." I growled. I look around my room. Helena, Gweninis, Ressa, Tempesta, Whituis, and Brownian were all standing around us. My fairies were also around my room.
"I don't care if you were in the middle of sleeping. Jeweliana is flying. She woke all of us up flying." Gweninis yelled. I looked at Sting.
"Dream right here now. Didn't I tell you to watch her. How did she even get out? The door was closed and I know she can't open it. I also know you don't go back on an order." Dream approach me.
"It wasn't our fault. Edelina opened the door and we fought her off, but Jeweliana escaped by flying." Dream explained. I ran my hand through my hair.
"You didn't go after her. I mean Aqua is the fastest flier out of all of you. Not to mention that Mint can make force fields. I'm done. Come on Sting we have to find our baby." I yelled.
"Lucy she was heading to Mira room." Whituis gave me a tip. I nodded and ran off. I heard giggling and a lot of stuff crashing down. I turned the corner and bumped into Mira. Sting help me up.
"Lucy Jewel was flying!" Mira exclaimed.
"Yeah I know. I was woken up because of it. Which way did she go?" I asked. She pointed down to where father office is. I sighed. I went to the wall intercom.
The castle is on lock down. Code baby blue. I repeat code baby blue. Lock down the castle now.
I ran again moving through everybody that was rushing to get somewhere else. Could these maid and butlers find somewhere else to be? I found Jewel. Her small black wings took her all the way to Helena room. Thank the Gods she went pass father office. I stopped when I saw Edelina.
"Back away from Jeweliana." I hissed.
"I only want to hold her." She said ian innocent tone. Sting finally caught up to me.
"Yeah right Zeref demon." I growled. Jewel started to fly in circles. I could really use Gweninis about now. I heard footsteps behind me and looked over my shoulder. Jackal! I saw Tempesta, Helena, and Gweninis approach him.
"I felt Jackal presence so we came." Tempesta shouted.
"It's fine. Gweninis does your curse work on babies?" I asked.
"Your joking right. I can take control over anything." Gweninis laughed.
"Good, because use it on Jewel now." I yelled. Jewel stopped flying and slowly floated down into my arms. I smiled. I handed Jewel to Sting and transformed. I formed a barrier around Sting and Jewel. "Sting your going to need it. There's a trap door under you. It leads straight to the hall to my room. Get to my room, and once your in hit the green button in my closet behind my ball gowns. Go now." I said. He nodded. With that he left.
"Jackal call in the rest of the demons." Edelina ordered Jackal. I grabbed my choker. It was flashing. I threw it against the wall and a control panel appeared. I hit a red button sirens and red lights flashed. Over the intercom it was saying all Rose Demons report the location H. Zeref demons appeared in front of me. Juvia was with them. They started to attack us and I put up my Angel barrier.
"They're going to break through any minute. Tempesta is Helena and the others on their way I question. He nodded. I heard a crack and my barrier broke. I fell back dodging the peaces. They started to attack and we were being beaten. I was about to be punch when an ice wall appear in front of me.
"Need a hand?" Whituis asked.
"Finally." I yelled. Father was behind them.
"Where's Jewel?" Father ask.
"She's safe with Sting. Ressa is Eve with Sting?" I asked. She nodded. I huffed in relief. "Come on. Let's show them the power of real demons." I shouted. They all shouted yeah.
~Sting Pov~
Eve was here with me. I ran into Lucy closet and hit the green button. I didn't know what it will do, but we'll find out. Purple magic surrounded the room. We heard something cover the door. It was obsidian. A lacrima appeared in front of us and showed us the battle.
"What happened?" Eve asked.
"We were chasing after Jewel and then Edelina tried to take her." I explained. We heard another crash and Jewel started to cry. I held her close to me and tried to stop her crying. I lightly rubbed her back and hummed.
"Who would of thought you would be a good dad." Eve proclaimed.
"I didn't think I would be. I'm just doing what Lucy usually does." I said. Jewel fell back to sleep. I continue to watch the battle Lucy was fighting some random demons. They were in her path for Edelina. Gweninis was fighting Sayla. Electirai was surrounded, but Brownian fought his way to her. Tempesta and Helena was getting the upper hand on Jackal. Bluecide stood on the side just in shock. Juvia was trying to fight Ressa. Lucy gets hit on her side, but Whituis saves her. I growl a bit.
Jewel started to cry again. Crap she was connected to emotions and she can feel Lucy. A light flashed on the screen and two of Lucy spirits appeared. It was Leo and Aries. Aries was about to get hit when Mira kick the demon back. Leo got hit, but he stayed up. Ressa froze. She couldn't move. Eve had a scared look in his eyes. Electirai freed her with her black lightning. I saw Brownian get kicked to the ground, making Bluecide to finally move. Leo get blasted by Edelina. Aries cries out, but Lucy sends them back.
I was getting nervous. In the corner I saw Rogue. I hope he's on our side. He went in the shadows and restrained Jackal. Jackal was about to injure Helena badly. Gweninis took control of some of the demons and then trapped them with the help of Whituis. Jewel crying got louder. I continue to rock her.
~Lucy Pov~
We were going to lose. We needed to do something. I created a barrier around everyone.
"Everyone get to together. We're performing that spell." I order.
"Lucy that spell doesn't work without Layla scepter." Father yelled.
"Who said I didn't have it." I opened a pocket dimension. I pulled out the scepter. It had change. It added maroon, indigo, brown, and sliver roses. Sliver who's sliver. Wait it can't be Sting. He's not a demon. We made our way to each other. We didn't get bothered by anyone thanks too my barriers. We joined our hand together. Our hearts joining as one. We said our roses in whisper tone. The scepter shined and a rose appeared. All the parts were lite except indigo and sliver. The rose hit the demons, making them retreat. They left Juvia and Rogue behind.
"Do what you want with them. I'm going." I said. I spread my bat wings and flew. I'm so happy the ceilings are high. I speed up reach my room. I open the door and see Sting waiting for me. Eve left. I tear leaked down my face. Sting was safe. He put the Jewel on the bed. He spread his arms wide for me. I flew into his embrace. He rubbed my back, and ran his hand through my hair. I pulled back and kissed him.
"Your safe." I whispered.
"Thanks to you." He whispered back. I didn't realize my transformation wore off.
"You better not be hurt." I said.
"Who could hurt me when I have you as my girlfriend." He teased. I kissed him again.
"Hey can you two stop the kissing and tell us what's going on?" It was a fairy.
"Rogue it was Edelina. Didn't I tell you guy to leave after I got pissed off?" I looked at the fairies.
"We are here to guard the baby. Our last pact with Layla was to protect her family and that's what we're doing." Dream said. I sighed.
"Okay let's put Jewel to bed." I said.
"Then we can have some fun." Sting said seductively.
"You can't do that just yet. Father wants everyone in the library now." Ressa says. I sigh. I pick up Jewel and take her back to the nursery.
"What could father possibly want. This makes me pissed." I complained.
"Don't worry we can still have our fun." Sting says. I giggle.
"Gosh can you two make me sicker than I already am." Gweninis came up behind us.
"Your just jealous because I have a mate and you don't." I said. I turned around and face her. I started to walk backwards too.
"Sure I am. I'm just raging with jealousy." She rolled her eyes.
"Whatever." I said. I bumped into Brownian. "Sorry Brownian." I said.
"No worries." He said. We finally got to the library.
"Good your all here. I'm sorry for my previous actions. I didn't know what I was doing. I can assure you that Edelina isn't a Rose. She was lying and treating me as a puppet." Father apologize. That's why he called us here. I rolled my eyes.
"Can I leave now?" I asked. He nodded. I grabbed Sting arm and took him out of the room.
"You didn't want to stay to see if he had anything else to stay. Interesting. Some one eager isn't she?" Sting teased.
"It's not like he's going to say anything interesting. Besides I'd like to spend my afternoon with you." I said.
"Oh yeah. Prove it." Sting provoke. Lucky for him we were at my room. I pulled him in my room and closed the door. I kissed him softly. He pulls me closer to him. I wrap my arms around his neck. He kisses down my neck and slightly nips at my skin. I moan when he bits my delicate skin. I wrap my legs around Sting and entangle my fingers in his hair. I kiss him passionately. He slightly breaks our kiss when he takes off his shirt. He kisses my again. I put my hand on the back of his neck to keep him from break the kiss. He drops me on my bed and pins my wrist down. He kisses my neck again. I get Sting on his back and kiss him. He starts to untie my corset.
~Ressa Pov~
I was helping Helena with the bridesmaids dresses. I picked out a gold strapless dress with a bow that had topaz studs on it. It was knee length. Helena loved it and she picked out the maid of honor dress. It was gold tube corset dress that wrap over to the right side. The right boob was all topaz and at the bottom of the tight skirt had topaz studs. The corset tied in the back. It went to middle thigh.
"So who's the maid of honor?" I asked.
"Well I was hoping to talk to Lucy about it. You know since we were really close. If she doesn't accept, then I don't know who." Helena said. I smiled. Helena has really thought about this.
"Okay let's see your dress. I heard you got a new new one." I said. She smiled. Helena snapped her fingers and the dress appeared. It was a orange sweetheart neckline, empire waist dress with a full mesh skirt. Gold shimmering mesh fabric fell delicately on the skirt. Crystal embellish sash wrapped tight under her bust. The top was completely made out of silk. It was almost like a ball gown. I clapped. It was so lovely, elegant, and a little on the sexy side.
"Helena that's beautiful." I praised.
"This is dress number five and I've fallen in love with it." She proclaimed. Helena twirled and the dress flowed with her. I laughed. Helena looked like a princess. Ironic she she was an actual princess.
"Helene what's your real reason for wanting to get married?" I asked. She sighed and sat down.
"After I almost lost the assassins and then you and Whituis almost lost the military I realized something. Edelina is trying to ruin everything. Ressa I'm scared. Now that she got Juvia to turn against Lucy- I'm afraid that she's going to convince Tempesta turn against us. I know it's totally lame to think this, but I'm scared. I don't want to lose him." She told me her fears. Something demons never shared. We keep our deepest and darkest fears hidden so no one would use it against us. We heard a knock at the door. She quickly snapped her fingers and her clothes went back to normal.
"It's just me." Electirai said. She sighed in relief.
"Well I'm glad your here. Try on this dress." Helena handed her a bridesmaid dress. Electirai went in the back and came back with the gold dress on. "It looks so pretty on you." Helena giggled. Electirai flipped her hair back and looked in the mirror. She twirled and the dress slightly twirled with her.
"Call the others. Let's see how the other dresses fit." I said. I quickly put on the dress and giggled. I love this dress. It fit perfectly. Mira came in with a smile on her face.
"Hey Mira." I greeted.
"Hi, I just had a fantastic idea." Mira boasted.
"That is?" Electirai questions.
"Helena and Lucy should have a double wedding." Mira said.
"I thought Lucy agreed no wedding." Helena said.
"She did, but we can change her mind. Think about black rose and orange rose wedding. Lucy will have her set of bridesmaids and you will have yours. Two different colors. Saying your vows. Then the first dance. It would be so cute." Mira giggles.
"I don't mind it. You just have to get Sting to propose, and Lucy to agree to have a wedding." Helena said.
"I have my ways. Oh I love planning weddings. Helena what were you thinking for the flowers?" She asked.
"Primroses, water lilies, baby breath, and a single orange rose." She answered.
"Those are lovely flowers. They all have a great meaning. Primroses meaning I can't live without you, water lilies mean purity of heart, baby breath innocence, and orange roses meaning passion. You really thought about this." Mira explained.
"I did. I want everything to be perfect. Did you hear what happened to Juvia?" Helena asked.
"No." I looked at her. She sighed.
"Father locked Juvia up because she's a traitor. After she came to our home and betrayed us father isn't going to let her out. I don't even think Lucy can get her out. Father can stand a lot of things, like Lucy's pregnancy, and his daughters having mates, and even mom dying- but when you come to our home and betray us, he will get angry." Ressa said.
"Oh. I feel kinda sorry for her. It really wasn't her fault. She just thought that she was forgotten." Mira proclaimed.
"Yeah. It's hard living a life of as human I guess. I'm so glad I was born demon. Hey Mirajane if you weren't born a demon, then how did you have demonic power?" Electirai asked.
"Well it was my magic. Take over Satan soul. I'm the only one that's known that has this power." Mira explained. They nodded.
"So how are you going to get Lucy to agree to a wedding?" I asked.
"I don't know, but I know I will get Lucy to have one." Mira said.
"Me have what?" Lucy came in with her hair wet.
"Oh nothing." Electirai said. Lucy rolled her eyes and sat down.
"So what have you been doing?" Helena asked. Lucy twirled a strand of hair around her finger.
"Stuff." She said.
~Juvia Pov~
I sat in the dark cell. Why did they leave me? Is it because I'm not devoted to Zeref. If they took me right now I'd let them turn me into a demon. Please Mer Geer, take me back and turn me into a demon. He appeared in front of me and smirk.
"So your willing for us to turn you into a demon. If you do that you will have to pledge yourself to Zeref." Mer Geer said.
"I will. I'll do anything to take them down." I said. He smirked and grabbed my arm. We appeared in Tartarus and he pushed me in a tube.
"Lammy make Juvia here the sexiest women here. Keep her boobs and pretty face. Remove that mate mark on her neck. She's mine now." Mer Geer ordered her.
~Mer Geer Pov~
Juvia finally wanted to be a demon. Of course she was beautiful and powerful, but I still wanted Lucy. As long as I have Juvia as mine, Lucy will fall at my feet to get her back. I can't wait till she's bout of the chamber. Edelina walked in.
"Mer Geer aren't you going to play with me?" She whispered seductively in my ear. I flagged her away.
"Leave me Edelina. I have a new toy." I ordered. She huffed and walked away. Clammy good at her job so she should finish with her soon. I hope Juvia mate doesn't show up. I should send Jackal after him.
"Jackal!" I yelled. He appeared in from of me.
""Yes Mer Geer?" He bowed.
"Fine Juvia mate and bring him back here. Lock him up." I said. He nodded and left. My door opened and Lammy came in.
"Mer Geer here is the new Juvia." She said. Juvia came in and smirked. She had on a sea green breast plate that barely cover her boobs. It showed most of her stomach and back. A short light blue kimono that hung off her shoulders and was open, small and tight leather shorts with silver chain hanging off her hips, thigh high black lace up boots, and a sliver bow choker. On her shoulders and stomach she had tattoos that resembles snakes. She had a sliver head band that separated her bangs, her left eye was covered by her bangs, her hair was extremely curly. Juvia Tartarus mark was on under her right boob.
"I am not Juvia anymore. I am Venus." She hissed.
"I see you removed that mate mark." I said.
"What mate. This bad girl can't be tied down to anyone." She said. She walked past Lammy and stood in front of me.
"Did you change her personality?" I asked.
"No, this is her true self." Lammy said. Juvia approach my throne. So this was her true self. I like it. The nine demon gates and Edelina appeared before me. Juvia turned around.
"Who is she?" Keith asked.
"This is Juvia, better known as Venus." I introduced her.
"That's Juvia." Edelina repeated.
"Yeah you got a problem with it." Juvia taunted.
"You bitch, I brought you here." Edelina yelled at her.
"I don't care if you did." Juvia sat on the arm of my throne.
"You can't do that!" Kyouka exclaimed.
"She can do whatever she wants." I hissed.
"Is she Lucy replacement for now?" Sayla asked.
"No, she for something else." I said.
"She's replacing me." Edelina proclaimed.
"Yeah she is. You've stayed to long. Your getting old. Venus on the other hand is a Phoenix. She can't get die. Even her knew demon self won't die. Venus would you like to show them?" I asked. She got up.
"Attack me with your most powerful spell." She said. They didn't hesitate. She didn't bother dodging them. Lammy was crying in the corner because her best work was going to die. Cracks started to form on her body. She didn't seem seem. She crumbled to ice. Within a second she was back.
"My magic allows me to rebirth. Along with have the attributes of a Phoenix. My master taught me everything. Delaney the Cold Phoenix. Don't you just love my magic." Juvia sat back down on my throne.
"Isn't she a wonderful demon." I said.
"Whatever." Jackal said.
"Leave, I'm getting bored of your presence." I ordered them. They nodded and left. Juvia stayed I was happy. Her mate was out of my way and I just had her. My new toy.
~Helena Pov~
I lied to Lucy. I didn't know if I was pregnant of not. I just didn't want to be irresponsible. I had more expected out of me for being the assassin. I didn't tell Tempesta. Too afraid that if I was that he would go back to Zeref. I just wish I could make him a real demon and not a Zeref demon. Uncle told me that Zeref demons can't be turned into real demons. I walk to the kitchen, hoping to sneak a snack out of there. The chefs didn't like it when you take food out before dinner. I look out the window and sigh. What if I was really pregnant? I'm a fuckin assassin. You could say the women took pledges to not have kids. If I've made a stupid mistake how will I correct it?
Forget about food. I walk to the nursery. I lean in the door way. Lucy was putting Jewel to sleep. Sting was standing over her and rubbing her arms. Their love made that baby. Sting kisses the top of Lucy head. She looks up at him and smiles. There was so much love between them. Lucy got up and put Jewel gently down in her crib. She turned to Sting and he held her hands. I walked away before they saw me.
All I ever wanted was kids, but was I ready? Look at Lucy. She's turning out to be a great mom. What if I turn out like my step mom? Why am I acting like this? I don't even know if I'm pregnant. I walk in the living room and say Tempesta with Brownian. I sat down. Tempesta moved to my side.
"Hey Helena." Brownian greeted. I fake smiled. I yawned.
"You tired?" Tempesta asked.
"A little. Dinner almost ready." I said.
"Did you try and sneak food out of the kitchen again?" Tempesta questions.
"Maybe." I said.
"Brownian, Electirai wanted you to see her. She's in the music room." I said. He left fast. "Oh I wasn't able to get food out of the kitchen. I decide not to." I said. Tempesta smiled. He kisses me softly. I pull back.
"Hey what's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing, just waiting for the dinner bell." The bell rang and I got up.
~Lucy Pov~
Helena was watching Sting and I. Why was she? The dinner bell rang. Sting and I walk to the dinning room. I sat down and started eating. They gave Helena and I red wine. Helena and I are the only ones who love red wine. The others don't like it as much. We're usually the only ones who drink it. I notice Helena was eating a lot more, but wasn't drinking.
"Helena is everything alright? You haven't even touch your wine, and that's your favorite." I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." She said hesitantly. She wasn't. I called the butler over for more wine.
"Take Helena wine away." I whispered to him. He nodded. Helena never even fought for it. Something was definitely up. "Helena spill. You never let anyone take your wine." I ordered. She sighed.
"Nothing wrong.
~Juvia Pov~
I was sitting on Mer Geer lap. We were making out. I'm so glad I have up on my human self. A relationship with him is fast. This is way better than Rogue. We pulled back.
"I do want to know why you chose Venus as your new name." He said.
"Venus means pleasure, desire, and lust. That's something I want to give you." I said. He smirked and went back to kissing me. We heard footsteps and pulled back. It was Edelina.
"I see your enjoying your new toy." Edelina hissed.
"Oh she's not my toy like you were. She's something different. Now what do you want, I'm in the middle of something." He proclaimed.
"We need to know if Juvia needs a room." She said.
"No she won't now leave." He ordered. She disappeared and Mer Geer got my attention back on him. "You'll be staying in my room now. Where were we?" He kissed me again.
