God help her.
It was the most awkward class she had today in school.
It was freaking Damon's class.
Whenever people weren't looking at him, he was looking at her, but she would ignore him or at least try to.
Jeez, what is wrong with me? It's barely been a day since we broke up and I'm already missing him. Bonnie really hated that she loved him. Her emotions were such a bitch to her sometimes.
She would always look away from Damon's eyes and it didn't help that she almost in the front roar where she would have to see him in order to actually get what he was talking about in the lesson that he was giving.
After hastily making her away out of class, Bonnie was given everyone condolences and boy did she mean everyone like as in the whole entire school. Caroline had bragged about her to Elena that she was now the most popular girl in school. Bonnie couldn't see how the death of her father would somehow make her popular.
Rich people are so weird sometimes…
Bonnie made her way to the library to start on her homework assignments. She sighed in bliss when she entered the empty place and could practically smell the scent of books.
"Well, love, so glad you're back," Klaus greeted then gave her one of his charming smiles.
"So am I, but now I've got to catch up on all of my classes."
"You see," he started. "Now this is why I've always thought that school was overrated."
Bonnie paused as she dumped her things onto a desk in front of a Mac computer, laughing. "You're a librarian, Klaus. That's not possible."
"Eh, this job pays very well."
Bonnie rolled her eyes and turned on the computer. "Yeah. Sure. Admit it, you like it here."
Klaus shrugged. "I need to tell you something."
Klaus came from behind the front desk and sat next to her. Bonnie looked at him curiously. "What is it, Klaus?"
"I don't like gossip," Klaus began. "I…I know you probably won't know anything about your teachers. Have you seen Mr. Salvatore with anyone lately?"
Bonnie smiled tightly at him as her heart quickened. "Nope. I've been all around the place lately. Try asking Caroline, she's chatty."
Klaus grinned. "I already did that, love. She said that Damon has been secretive lately with his new girlfriend I think."
"Girlfriend?"
He nodded. "Yes. Her name is Andie Starr I think."
"Who's she?"
"She comes from some rich family. Very respect, but she's a spoiled little rich girl according to Caroline and my annoying sister."
"What did you just call me, you wanker?!" Rebekah shouted from above as she ducked her head over the railing.
Klaus looked up and shrugged. "You can't possibly be blaming me?! Can she?"
Bonnie shook her head. "So what do you know about her?"
"I hate the fake bitch," Rebekah called over at them. "She's selfish and when I say selfish, I'm being gentle about the term, darling."
Bonnie laughed and replied, "Wow…that's surprising that he even has a girlfriend."
"Yeah, I know especially so soon," Klaus said.
"So soon," Bonnie questioned. "What happened?"
"Well, there was a rumor going around that Damon had this special woman. So special that he kept her a secret from everyone else," Klaus explained.
"He didn't want us to spoil her," Rebekah whispered, smiling slyly down at Bonnie. "I hope we didn't spoil you though."
Bonnie scoffed. "Oh please. I'm unbreakable, Becks."
"Good because I want you to come to a party with me tonight."
"No, no, no"
"Please, Bon. I need someone with me. What if I get raped by some frat-boy? Huh?"
Bonnie sighed heavily. "Goddamn you with the guilt trip, huh?"
Rebekah squealed and came running down the stairs, wrapping her arms around Bonnie's waist. "You are now my best friend, Bonnie Bennett."
Bonnie rolled her eyes. "Anyways, Klaus, do you know what happened to him and that girl?"
"I'm guessing that she broke his heart probably or he broke hers-who knows these days especially with the elite's secrets they keep in the closet along with their skeletons," Klaus mused.
Bonnie frowned and then said, "Alright, Becks, pick me up at eight tonight. At the Salvatore's."
Rebekah nodded. "Got it. It was so nice of them to let you stay there."
"I know, but lately I've been kind of regretting it since I don't really know them," Bonnie admitted, noticing how Rebekah had left them already.
"They know that, love," Klaus told her. "They're very understanding…most of the time. Besides you remind them of their daughter."
"Oh," she whispered. "Mia."
"Yes, she was a very special girl," Klaus muttered. "Mia Salvatore…everyone knew her name. Everyone wanted to be either with her or her. Everyone liked her. She was a nice girl. Mia was the girl who would sacrifice a couple grand of her trust to help out a charity. With some, you can tell that they're only doing it for their college applications, but not Mia. No, she wanted to help people. That's all she wanted from life was to help others."
"She sounds like a great girl."
"She was."
Bonnie smiled. "I have to get back to work, Klaus."
Klaus nodded. "Oh, of course. I completely forgot about your assignments that you need to catch up on."
Klaus stood up, giving her a weak smile as she watched him walk back to his office behind the front desk. Bonnie sighed and turned her attention back to her assignments.
