Alphethron

Alphethron… The only words I had heard other then… I'm sorry… then there was cold. Then the warmth off to my right… I turn and try to make my egg move closer… I needed that warmth to hatch. I roll closer the eggshell gets softer. I start ripping the egg apart, trying to get free. Now it was way to warm… I scramble out of the fire and start looking for a warm place… I was already growing…Twice the size of the egg.

I quickly clean my self… try out my wings and tail then a two paw stance… and walking slowly around the start glide flights from book case to desk to a post… I stop moving and look down…at the man in the bed… I chirp at him… Then land lightly at his side and found the warmth that I had been looking for… I was out in a matter of moments… not knowing that I might die… To me this was my dad.. not my blood father but my dad.
