Chapter twenty-one: Haku Ryuu Ise Kyouraku is born part one

Juushiro's POV~

"I think it is great you are writing a book and I wish you the best of luck. And we are both gonna be fathers, be proud in that my friend. Congrats Ulquiorra!" I gave him a small hug. we talked for a bit. "Juushiro san there is something I must mention, Kyouraku soutaichou had his wife in his arms, she was.." i felt Rukia's reiatsu rop she must of fainted and I heard Ulquiorra say 4th division. My eyes widened as I stood.

"We must head out, my best friend and his wife..." I stated as I started to get up. Rukia came running up the stairs with Orihime trailing behind her.

Reader's POV~

What Juushiro and Rukia didn't know was that the delivery was all ready underway. And good thing they were on their way. "Nanao be strong my love be strong." Shunsui softly told her and gently and stroked her hair. WHen they arrived little Haku had been born and brought to the ICU and Nanao was in danger of losing her own life. "Nanao come on my love fight..." Shunsui sent his reiatsu through her to get her to respond.

Juushiro joined as well as Rukia and then combined reiatsu was like a defibrillator. Nanao came to coughing, her chest quickly rising and falling, she looked over and weakly smiled. "Shunsui!" She talked so softly it was unusual for her. "Ssh my love, I got you, you will be okay now. Haku is in good hands now. Retsu is taking care of him." Shunsui soothed Nanao softly as he stroked her hair and she hummed softly her eyes slowly closing.

Rukia went to check on Haku. "Wait you can't.. Oh captain Kuchiki-Ukitake you may pass. Captain Unohana is waiting for you." Said the nurse outside an ICU room with Haku's name on it. Haku Ryuu Ise Kyouraku only Captains Unohana, Ukitake, Kyouraku, and Kuchiki-Ukitake, and lieutenants Kyouraku and Kotetsu may pass, otherwise none without express permission of those above. Rukia entered the room with a serious expression, and her face smoothed out a bit.

"Hello Rukia, I just stabilized little Haku would you like to see him?" Asked Retsu softly as she moved away a bit. Rukia walked up to Haku's incubator and gasped at the small baby. He was so tiny, on oxygen and eye coverings. She put her hand through the gloves and held his little hand. "Your mother loves you unconditionally, as does your father young Haku. You are a Kyouraku, you can fight to live I know it." She encouraged the young one.

Retsu smiled as she listened to Rukia whose wisdom was strong. "Baby Haku is fighting and we hope he will continue to fight." Retsu told Rukia as she set her hand on Rukia's shoulder.

Retsu's POV~

I smiled as I kept my watch over them. 'I am glad both Lady Nanao and her son survived.' I thought to myself. I hugged Rukia as she told me how her and Captain Ukitake and Shunsui saved Nanao. 'She will still need a blood transfusion.' I thought.
