As you can probably tell, I don't like Yugi seeming dumb. I've read a LOT of fanfiction and at least 90% of it always has Yugi like this weak pathetic boy that isn't all that smart and always a little too emotional and Atem/Yami has to take care of him and look out for him. Obviously my Yugi is very independent and knows a thing or two (or a thousand) about taking care of himself; he isn't at all weak or dumb.

Not sure why I felt like saying that, but there you go. Anywho, enjoy this lovely chapter, I especially enjoy the end of this chapter because…well because I know you all with comment your feelings and I'm slightly demented at times- this being one of those times.

One last thing, I don't know if you all would like to or not but if you'd like you can bug me on my twitter, the names Jesse x3 or ('at' symbol)AnnaElisaGone. For anyone who feels like bugging me you're more then welcome to.

You guys are awesome, latter :)

There he is. I've been looking for him for so long, and there he is, and I don't know what to do.

I started looking for him out of hate, then Seth brought me the truth, only to watch him run away again and get taken away. I've finally found him, I feel like I can breathe again, but now I don't know what to do.

"My Pharaoh," Seth stands beside me, no doubt worried with my silence, "Bakura is sacured."

I nod, looking again to Mit and my slave-no, Yugi isn't my slave, not anymore. He's something more, much more.

I walk to the boy still clinging to Mit, the creature watching my every move, silently thanking me. Though I've done little to nothing good for the boy hugging him, "Yugi."

His hands tighten in Mit's mane, turning his head just enough to look at me, "Yes, Pharaoh."

"Would you return to the palace with me?" I ask, suddenly very unsure of myself.

"Do I have a choice?"

It pains me that his voice sounds so dead, his eyes so closed off to me. I take a step forward, only a few feet away, "Yes, Yugi. You will always have a choice from now on."

Yugi blink a few times obviously surprised, before lifting his head from Mit's mane to look at the beast, who nods without hesitation. Still looking away from me Yugi answers, "If it would please the Pharaoh, I will accompany him and his men to the palace. With the exception that Mit stays at my side."

I smile to myself, "Of course."

Within the hour we're able to find the horses that had run off, and gather just outside of Kul Elna. I'm checking my horse's saddle when I see Seth talking to Yugi, the boy seems more at ease with the High Priest, far more so then with me. I'm jealous toward the blue eyed man, though I know he loves the slave Jono. Funny how he thinks I never noticed. Seth once told me, 'to love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed,' and now he spends all of his free time with a curtain blonde slave. I will never understand my cousin.

I hear Yugi laugh and look up to see Seth silently laughing as Marik lies in the sand having fallen off his horse. I smirk at my General before mounting my horse, ready to leave. I look over to Bakura-tied to a horse and watched carefully by four soldiers.

Marik mounts his horse, managing not to fall off again, along with Seth and the other soldiers. Yugi is the last, waiting for Mit to lie down and climbing onto his back. Mit stands again and begins walking into the desert, glancing back at me as if wondering why I'm not following.

"To the palace." I order my men, and everyone moves forward, Mit leading the way with Yugi on his back.

Hours pass as Mit leads the way, the sun slowly begins to fall over the horizon until the sky turns orange then purple, and then to a dark blue and grey mix.

Finally Mit stops turning to see the soldiers and myself, "We can rest here for the night." Yugi says sliding off Mit's back into the sand, only to sit down and close his eyes, Mit shakes like a giant dog before lying down behind Yugi, the boy smiling with his eyes still closed. Mit adjusts as Yugi leans back into him, and turns his head around to watch the boy as he sleeps.

The two drift off before we finish making camp, and I order them to be left alone, to let them rest as they are.

Morning comes all too soon and we head out again, Mit taking the lead again. I follow the creature trusting his direction. A few hours pass and Mit pauses, waiting for me to catch up. I ride beside Mit on my horse yet he keeps glancing at me as if waiting for something.

Finally I get tired and ask, "What is it, Mit?"

Mit snorts, causing Yugi to sigh, "He wants you to tell me something, Pharaoh."

"There are many things I'd like to tell you, Yugi."

"Then tell me, Pharaoh. Mit is acting like stupid." Mit snorts, obviously not please with being insulated, "You are."

i smile at the two before speaking, "Stop calling me that."

"It's your title isn't it?" Yugi still won't look at me.

"Yugi please, you we're never made to call me my title before why would you now?"

"You were the Prince then, not the Pharaoh, and I ran away. You were hunting me as a criminal, you wanted to kill me. A lot has changed, Pharaoh."
