Hey guys! Great news! I just got back in contact with a couple writing buddies that are going to help me with ideas for future chapters and stories! Also, I recently found out that I write best when Im on the bus typing on my Ipad Mini while listening to music. Bus time will now be fanfiction writing time which should help me to be able to update more often. Anyway, here is the next chapter of, "I Miss You", enjoy!

The Awakening:

Clouds surrounded them from all sides as the trio of males walked towards a golden temple, the pillars stood tall and shined with their own natural light illuminating the nearby surroundings. A steep staircase led to its entrance, giving it an even enchanting appearance. Tatsu had a fierce look upon his face as they made their way up the stairs, using his shadows he changed their clothing to that of ancient Egypt. He now wore a pure while kilt that reached his knees, sandals, gold arm and leg bands and a blood red cape. Tatsu also had a sword tied at his waist, ready to be drawn to finish what he started millennia ago. Yugi and Atem were now in plain mud colored kilts with a red sash tied around their hips. Both also had chain cuffs around their hands, symbolizing their entrapment. Once they entered the temple Tatsu's shadows surrounded them and covered the walls.

"Gods! Show yourselves!"

In a matter of seconds, the Egyptian Gods materialized in front of them in their human forms. Slifer was a tall thin man with short black/red hair, red eyes and wore a suit of fiery armor. His eyes looked as if they could kill you where you stood. Obelisk had shinning silver hair that reached the middle of his back and some of it covered his right eye, his body was built and covered in a long flowing kimono styled tunic that was a stunning cerulean blue. Ra had her golden hair tied into an elegant bun and her golden eyes portrayed sadness and regret, she wished it hadn't come to this. Her gown reached to her ankles in flowing wisps, it was a stunning combination of orange, red and gold. Her gaze shifted from Tatsu to the two others behind him, No, this wasn't supposed to happen to you. Hold on, you'll be free soon, little light.

Obelisk was the first to speak, "How dare you trespass here you filthy human! Leave this place before we kill you where you stand."

Tatsu couldn't keep a smirk from forming on his face, he raised his right hand and Atem stepped forward. The sound of someone snapping their fingers was hear and then Obelisk went flying as a sphere of shadows hurled him into one of the pillars. The stone cracked with the force of a body colliding with it, Obelisk groaned and sat up, he had blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. Just as quickly as the first attack happened the second came with another snap, this time a blazing ball of light combined with underlaying hints of shadows was hurled at Slifer who was able to doge it just barley.

"Im not leaving until I get what I came here for. You took something from me and I want it back!"

As he spoke, more and more spheres of light and darkness assaulted the two male gods, completely ignoring Ra. This gave her the chance she needed to see if Atem still held Yugi's light within him. While Tatsu was focused on attacking, she snuck behind them and raised her index finger, pointing at Atem. A light that only she could see glowed from within the once Pharaoh. Its still there, thank goodness. Now, I just need to get it into its rightful owner. Then this can be finished. Yugi continued to shoot his corrupted light at Slifer, unaware that Ra had been observing him, she saw the way his hands hesitated before firing an attack and how his fingers continued to twitch.

He was fighting the control, and was winning. Light magic was most powerful in the realm of the gods, Tatsu was a fool for taking Yugi there. He would be able to free not only himself but also Atem once he had all his magic back. Before she could attempt to give him back hi light Tatsu saw her behind them and he turned on her.

"Ra."

"Tatsu. Please, stop this." If she could just get him to listen, she was sure she could end this without the need of violence or death. All she got in response though was a blank stare.

"No, they need to pay for separating us. For cursing me, forcing me to roam the Earth without you for the last 5,000 years."

A shout of pain was heard as Atem was hit with a ball of magic, Obelisk had no choice but to attack the young man. He had to protect himself. Atem fell to his knees holding his right shoulder. Blood leaked out from between his fingers and dripped onto the white floor. The sound of Atem's pain was enough to get Yugi to pause, a tear fell out of his right eye as he gazed at where Atem was.

"Mou Hitori…."

Tatsu glared and looked at Yugi with piercing red eyes, "Ebed! Forget him and finish off your opponent! NOW!"

Yugi's body jerked painfully as the command took control of him, his eyes hardened as he turned back to Slifer, ready to do as his master wished. Said god was observing Yugi, he knew exactly what Tatsu had done to the chosen one and pharaoh. I cant hurt him. I wont. Slifer readied himself to defend himself, but nothing more. His heart hurt for the two males who had been dragged into a war that had nothing to do with them. They deserved to be happy, safe and to be able to live their lives together. Yugi.

Meanwhile, Atem was back up on his feet firing his attacks faster and stronger than ever. The pain was forgotten and in its place only one thing ran through his mind, to fight for his master. The fighting continued on both sides for another ten minutes until a rather large sphere of blue magic was released from Obelisk. It was heading straight for Atem. Whatever grip of control Yugi still had was finally able to break free as he suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking the attack with his own body. The attack was seconds away from hitting them when they were pushed to the ground by a strong hand. Both landed safely on their backs, avoiding the magic, their savior was not so lucky unfortunately.

"AHHHHH!"

Tatsu couldn't believe it, the one person he had not wanted to hurt had put herself between his slaves and danger. Ra was now laying on the cold floor with blood covering a large wound that had formed on the right side of her chest. Already the blood was beginning to create a puddle beneath her, dark red splotches also adorned her face. Slifer rushed to her side as well as Obelisk. Tatsu on the other hand was livid, HOW DARE THEY! Another shadow shot at Obelisk, hitting him directly in the back forcing him to the ground in pain. Tatsu's shadow magic was much stronger with both Yugi and Atem's magic.

Ra, who was barley still conscious saw Obelisk go down and knew what she had to do. With the last bit of strength she had, Ra pointed at Atem and muttered one word, "Heba…"

A ball of light came out of Atem's chest and shot straight into Yugi. The young man started to glow brightly and scream in agony. Something was racing through his mind causing an unimaginable amount of pain. Eventually the pain caused Yugi to fall to his knees and hold his head with both hands. With each second he glowed brighter and brighter, until he let out a blood curling scream.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
