Harriet Salmon: she totally does haha, and no! you're the awesome funny one!
So all of you pretty much want Olivia to get pregnant instead of Hayley but tell me any options because I'm still deciding :)
"Matty" I called out in a loud voice pushing the door to the not-yet-open grill, since it was only Matt and Jeremy there it wouldn't matter.
I had spent much of my time the night before and this morning pining, I suppose you could say over you guessed it, Klaus.
I hadn't tried calling him since last night, I don't want to be stalkerish or anything but I did need to talk to him about things I couldn't really bring myself to say out loud.
"Jeremy, Matt" I called again a hint of frustration in my voice, hey instead of facing my problems I eat instead.
"Olivia, run!" Matt's voice held urgency I hadn't heard before and going against his wishes I turned towards it.
I came face to face with a dark skinned man holding a knife, I let out a loud gasp and tired to step back "Sit down Blondie" he barked holding the knife in front of my face making me tremble slightly, he roughly grabbed my small arm in a giant hand and basically threw me into a seat.
Looking around the table I saw it wasn't just only Matt and I, Jeremy also sat here along with a terrified April Young.
"At least let April and Olivia go. They don't have anything to do with this." Jeremy half begged. Why do people always bargain my way out, maybe I like being held hostage.
Okay I hate it but still I'm not a child.
"She has everything to do with this" he pointed to me with the knife sending a chill down my spine "and so does she" he referred to April this time, never taking his eyes off me making me more creeped.
"What are you talking about? I've never seen you before in my life." April cried making me feel worse in this situation then I already did.
"Well, you kids need to get some vervain. And don't just wear it as a bracelet where anybody can just take it" He looked pointedly down at Jeremy's bracelet, I stared down at the table hoping this was a dream and i'd wake up somewhere nice like a beach far far away from here "Maybe then you'd remember our conversation at the hybrid's yesterday."
I looked up frowning, the hybrid, did he mean Klaus?
Oh lord please tell me I haven't got myself mixed up in some Klaus, enemy revenge thingy.
The man walked away typing onto a phone "Our conversation? Are you saying someone compelled me?!" Jeremy questioned loudly not doing well to sooth my nerves.
I tried to breath slowly in and out but truth be told I was freaking out, I didn't know this man but somehow he knew about vampires and about Klaus.
"Compulsion, secrets, vampires." The man said every word heavily letting it sink in, under the table a hand reached out and grabbed onto mine and squeezed. I looked up to see Matt give me a determined look before turning to the man "If you know so much, then you know our friends are going to come for us."
"Oh, yeah, I'm counting on it." okay Mr sassy pants "Every vampire that comes for you is another one I get to kill. Now, who should I text first?" The man looked through what I think was Jeremy's phone "Damon Salvatore, his brother Stefan, Tyler Lockwood?" at the mention of Tyler, mine and Matt's heads shot up "Nah, all of the above."
After he had finished typing something he took his knife and stabbed the phone crushing it making me jump violently and grab Matt's hand tighter.
"You expect me to care about bloody hostages?"
Stefan grew more agitated as he heard Klaus's reply, walking across the shut off town square "Well, you should. Damon does. So does Caroline, Tyler, Elena. If any of them get to Connor, then you just wasted a trip to Italy. I can buy us some time, but Damon's getting antsy. So, if you want Connor alive, you better get your hybrids on board with my plan." he paused for a moment, thinking of who was in there "Oh and Tyler wants his blonde best friend back in one piece and I'm pretty sure so do you" he finished smartly.
It had been a low blow, but a necessary one, Stefan needed the cure and in turn needed Conner alive, Klaus wanted the cure, wanted Conner alive and Olivia out. It gave Stefan a sense of triumph at the radio silence he heard over the phone as he finished talking, the only sound, heavy breathing.
With that said Stefan stared up into a window and hung up on Klaus.
I had figured out what was going on, okay half figured out.
This man, was the hunter Caroline had told me about, Conrad? Caleb? Conner that was it.
Aprils crying wasn't helping me at all, it made me feel as if I should cry to, but I wasn't going to. You'd think after being held hostage time and time again you would get used to it almost but I hadn't it was still as scary and nerve racking as ever.
"He's clearly delusional. I mean, right? All this, all this talk about vampires, but I mean, he mentioned my dad." April chocked out her voice breaking slightly.
Matt used the hand that wasn't holding mine to wave around for emphasis "Hey, this guy's a nut job, okay? Don't let him get in your head."
You belong in a tree 'cause you're a nut.
No brain, Not helping.
But April wouldn't let it go "What if he knows something? Jeremy, did he say anything to you about why he's doing this?" I grinded my teeth together, I loved the chick but I wished she would stop talking.
"I don't know. Maybe. Maybe I just can't remember." Jeremy muttered not taking his eyes off Conner, he got up and began to walk over to him, bad move. It seemed Matt thought the same "Let it go. Jeremy!"
Jeremy being well Jeremy ignored him and continued walking over to Conner as they began to talk to low for me to hear.
This left with me with Matt and April, while April kept crying softly Matt stared over at Jeremy and Conner.
We all sat there warily watching them heatedly talk.
"HEY" Conner suddenly shouted making me jump again "We're gonna have visitors soon, you three get in the back. Get up! MOVE!"
April began to cry more making me feel horrible, still gripping Matt's hand tightly I linked my arm through hers and tugged her gently toward the back room "Before you think about any other exits, I got every door rigged. Got it?"
I did not like this man.
Sitting on the floor of the grill wrapping my arms around a sobbing April was as fun as it sounded.
"When I was a kid, my dad used to tell me these scary stories about vampires." She muttered from where she was leaning on me.
"They're just stories." I said more sharply than I had intended as I watched Matt pull some shelves away from the wall.
"Not to that man out there. There's something so familiar about him" She continued hopefully not hearing my tone.
"Look, this is a messed up situation, but the last thing you want to do is buy into that guy's craziness." Matt injected as he pulled a panel off of the wall "You're gonna be fine. We're all getting out of here."
"What are you doing?" I asked pulling away from April to walk over to Matt. "There used to be an exit to the old wine cellar." I leaned over his shoulder to see a passage filled with bricks "They bricked it over" he said in exasperation.
"Fucking hell" I swore loudly, not helping the situation at all.
"So, that's it then? We're screwed" April sniffed.
"No, we're not screwed" Matt had a determined look on his face as we pulled back, he took a hammer and began hitting at the brick, with every hit I flinched slightly.
Suddenly out of nowhere there was a loud explosion that made us all jump out of our skins, instinctively I grabbed onto Matt's hand.
I heard April let out a squeal and turned to see Stefan had joined us, this day just got weirder and weirder.
Stefan handed us a map and basically told us to get the hell out of there and after him reassuring Matt nobody would die, which I was skeptical about, through the hole in the ground we did.
If there's one thing I hated more than being held hostage in my favorite place to get food it was underground tunnels so casually running through them wasn't the highlight of my day.
So to sum it all up my day had been shit and you know the worst part? I was still hungry.
This one was short and bad and I apologize I just hate this episode but I've skipped so many already so I thought I shouldn't skip anymore . but I am excited for the next one!
Sort of important note: (sorry if I ramble)
