I'M SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOU WAIT LIKE TEN THOUSAND YEARS MY DEAR READERS. I HAD WRITERS BLOCK FOR A BIT, THEN HAD IMPORTANT TESTS THAT WOULD DECIDE WHERE I WOULD GO FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND MY CLASSES, THEN STARTED THINKING ABOUT MY OTHER STORY ON HERE, THEN REMEMBERED I HAD TO FINISH THIS CHAPTER.

Rein's POV

It didn't take long for us to arrive at the front of the karaoke area. Everyone was standing near the entrance, and it was pretty obvious because a lot of them seemed to stick out, like, a lot.

"Hey guys!" I said as I ran up to them. Chiffon turned around and grabbed my hands, tears streaming down her face.

"You didn't tell me one of your friends was Tio's long lost sister!" She cried as she rubbed her eyes. I gave her a confused look, then tried to locate Tio. He looked as though he was just getting over from crying.

"Don't over exaggerate Chiffon. It's only been a year since I last saw him." Lione said as she wiped her eyes. She then looked to me, and gave me a hug.

"Thank you for inviting me Rein." Lione said as she sniffled a little. It was quite shocking how, in all the schools in the area, in all the possible people I could have met, I met two sibling who haven't met in a long time. I hugged her back.

"It's quite a small world isn't it." I replied. She laughed a little, and then let go, giving me a kind smile. It was then that she noticed Shade behind me, and she seemed to pause.

"Is... Is that...?" She stuttered. I glanced behind me, and Shade just turned towards Toma, pretending to not notice her. I wasn't sure what to say, but Chiffon seemed to know exactly what to say.

"Oh him? He may look like that 'oh so cool' Eclipse, but trust me. He's a complete idiot who goes by the name of Shade." Chiffon said as she took her hands. Lione nodded, taking a closer look. Shade glared at Chiffon, but didn't say anything. I put my hand up to my mouth, hiding a laugh.

"I... I guess you're right..." She replied as she looked at her. That was when I let a small giggle slip, and Shade immediately glared at me, but I looked away. "By the way... who are we waiting for?" Chiffon glanced at everyone there. There wasn't a lot of people.

"There are a lot more coming." Chiffon replied as she turned back to her.

"Thank goodness we weren't late!" I heard the familiar voice of my sister yell in the distance. I turned around, a bright smile on my face. "Rein!"

"Fine!" She came into view, Bright by her side. "Oh, Bright too!" I took another glance as I realized Altezza wasn't there. "Where's..." Then I heard the sudden commotion behind them as they got closer. I could hear screaming girls, arguing about some kind of 'Who wore it better?' type of thing.

"Sorry for being late." Bright said, a small blush on his face. Fine on the other hand was energetic and ready.

"Mirlo couldn't make it by the way. She had to baby sit her little brother." Fine said. I nodded in sadness. What a shame... Fine then looked at everyone else there, surprised.

"Wow. I didn't expect there to be so many people." Fine said. "So these are your friends?" Before I could even reply, Shade jumped in, wrapping one arm around me.

"Her one and only!" He said with a stupid smile on his face. I shook his arm off, and looked away, sure a blush was on my face. Fine looked almost ready to faint when Lione walked next to her, whispering something in her ear.

She nodded and took another look, then said, "I can see it!"

"Oh come on!" He replied said as he turned around.

"By the way, Auler and Sophie can't make it." Bright said.

"Guess there's no reason to wait. Let's go!" Everyone shuffled behind the energetic blonde. When Shade entered the karaoke place, it was as though he had remembered why he had even agreed to go in the first place. He almost immediately turned serious as he glanced at Toma who also seemed to have the same reaction. I sighed. What if they're taking this too seriously...

We all entered the booth we were given. Of course, Toma and Shade sat across from each other, glaring at each other half of the time. Chiffon took the mic first. "We have a lot of time, so how about we pump things up a bit! We could have a tournament!" Everyone stared at her, wide-eyed.

"Wait, what?!" Toma and Shade said at the same time. Everyone's reaction was pretty diverse as well.

"Oh come on. What kind of match would this be if we didn't get to join! Anyways, there are ten people here. So how about this: These two will face off first, then Whoever wins, gets to reign at the top for a bit while we do the tournament. This gives the loser a chance to make a comeback as well as a new participant to steal the crown and be the best singer out of us all." Chiffon flipped the microphone in her hand. "Let's get started!" She tossed it towards Toma, who caught it, and looked at her.

"How do we know who sang best?"

She suddenly dug through her bag and pulled out a piece of paper as well as some weird machine. "I was prepared. I made a sort of metronome like invention that will rate you from 1-10 depending on how well synced you are with the song. We'll record everything on this paper." Lione, Fine, and Elizabetta were impressed, but everyone else (with the exception of Bright) looked away in annoyance, as though she did this often.

"Let's begin!" It was decided that Shade would go first. Chiffon made sure the metronome wasn't facing them so they wouldn't have to concentrate on what the metronome looked like. He got to choose his own song. We all watched as he punched the number of the song. On the screen, the words Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra appeared in all caps on the screen. I noticed him sneak a glance at me, then wink. I blushed and hid my face and heard a small chuckle from him before he faced the screen.

"That's such a classy song Shade! I wasn't expecting that from you." Chiffon said as she leaned forward eagerly.

"That's because I'm dedicating this to someone. I plan to tell her something when I win." He said. I pretended to be distracted, but I could feel my head swirl a bit. He can't be talking about me right?

"That's quite arrogant isn't it?" Toma asked as he sat back.

"Even if I lose this round, I still have the actual tournament." He gave Toma a competitive glare. "Be prepared." Toma nodded in agreement. Soon the music started, and everyone leaned in with excitement. Shade sounded like, I don't know, a human music making machine if that makes sense. He reminded me of those vintage radios that aren't around anymore and I loved it. I glanced around, and everyone seemed to be mesmerized too. I could already tell that it took all of Fine's efforts to not faint at the voice of her most favorite idol.

Sadly, the song was short, and it was soon over. Everyone stared at the metronome meter which beeped a couple minutes before showing an 8 on the scale. "Aw what?! That was perfect!" Shade protested. I laughed a little as he waved his arms around.

"Maybe because you were a bit too deep Shade." Chiffon replied. Shade grumbled and handed the microphone to Toma, then took a seat next to me. As Toma began to look through the songs, Shade turned to me, a smile on his face.

"So? How was it?" I was extremely nervous.

"I loved it!" Was all I could say. I didn't exactly look him in the eyes, but it was inevitable considering he grabbed my cheeks and turned them toward me.

"Is something wrong?" I blushed even harder and threw a pillow at his face.

"Not at all! I told you you were great, you don't have to start getting all up in my face!" I said as I turned towards Toma who was already punching in the song. For some reason, I couldn't suppress this growing feeling inside me. I didn't know what to do and instead distracted myself by watching what Toma chosen for his song. It was Piano Man by Billy Joel. Also another classic and a song I loved.

"That's just like you Toma." Chiffon said. She made it pretty obvious as to how interested she was in his performance. Even though she performed with him every now and then, she seemed to like his solos. Toma nodded in appreciation, then turned towards the screen where the song began to play.

At least one-fourth ways through the song, I could tell that at least everyone in the room felt at peace with his voice. Even Shade seemed to sit still for once, but he still looked away in annoyance. I giggled a bit, but continued to listen. Towards the end, Chiffon was the one applauding the most. She was so distracted that she wasn't even paying attention to the metronome. Everyone waited in anticipation.

"9! Impressive!" Lione said. Shade immediately got up and grabbed it from the table.

"This thing is broken Chiffon!"

"No it's not! It was made by me! You just have to work hard to get a better score!" Shade looked as though he was read to throw the metronome against the wall, but slowly placed it down then slumped in his seat. This meant that for the time being, Toma would be sitting at the top, while everyone else would compete and see who was the better singer.

Chiffon pulled out some sticks and showed the different colored ends. Then she mixed them up behind her back and hid the colors in her palm. Everyone took a piece. The tournament rounds were basically like this.

Shade-Chiffon

Tio-Lione

Fine-Bright

Altezza-Elizabetta

Rein

"Wait, why do I have to go against Elizabetta?!" Altezza whined. Elizabetta glared at her.

"Oh! Looks like you're my competitor Bright." Fine said as she stood next to him. He nodded, a happy look showing in his eyes. Tio and Lione were also paired together, and Tio looked slightly happy. I didn't have a partner, so I was slightly relieved.

"You'll just have to wait till' Altezza or Elizabetta win then you'll go against one of them." Chiffon stated. I stared at her, then at Altezza, then at Elizabetta who hadn't said a word the entire time. If anything, she looked like a wreck. Maybe she's got stage fright...

The tournament quickly begun, and I sat quietly next to Toma, eagerly waiting to hear everyone sing.

To make up for this extremely late chapter, I might write an April Fool's story, and also in the next chapter, thing will go down. It's shorter than recent chapters, but I really wanted to save the next part for the next chapter. Again, sorry!
