Sadie Finnigan

Sadie Finnigan is the daughter of Seamus and Lavender Brown and the sister to Cody, I hope you like her character.

Sadie Finnegan would never admit this out loud but she looked up to her older brother Cody. He was in Gryffindor, he was keeper for the house team, he got good grades and he had already decided what he was going to do with his life. Cody could do no wrong and Sadie wanted to be just as good as him. She was slightly worried she wouldn't make it into Gryffindor but then again she didn't have to be in Gryffindor to be like her brother. Maybe she could be a Ravenclaw with Lucy Weasley, but she wasn't really the intelligent type. She wondered if Cody had to work hard for what he got, because her father told her you never get anywhere in life if you don't put in the effort. She was pulled from her thoughts when she realised she was next to be sorted.

"Sadie Finnegan." Professor Longbottom calls.

Sadie walks up to the stool and turns to face the hall that's packed with students. She turns to the Gryffindor table to see her brother smiling at her proudly, which makes her smile in turn. She glances over to the Ravenclaw table where Lucy sits, waving at Sadie. Lucy and Cody never got along, in fact Cody was in love with Lucy and Lucy was just uninterested. But she and Sadie were friends despite her being four years younger. She sits down and the hat it put on her head.

"Another Finnegan, you know I never considered any other houses for your father or your brother but you are a creative one aren't you." The hat said to her which shocked her slightly.

"I am?" She said not knowing that she was creative.

"Yes, tell me are you fire prone like your brother and your father?" The hat enquired. Sadie blushed at the question as she was indeed fire prone, it kind of ran in the family. "I will take that as a yes. So Ravenclaw or Gryffindor? I think I have made up my mind, I place you in…GRYFFINDOR!"

Sadie got up smiling and ran to where her brother stood cheering for her. He picked her up in his arms and spun her around. She hugged the rest of the many family members she had in Gryffindor, family in the sense that that's what they felt like. Sadie took a seat between her brother and Dominique.

"Well done Kid, where you a hatstall?" Dominique who was head girl asked her and Sadie looked down embarrassed with herself. "Hey kid don't be embarrassed most of us were hatstalls right guys?" A lot of them nodded yes which made Sadie feel a lot better, she thought for a second she was the only one.

"The hat considered me for Ravenclaw." Sadie admitted to everyone. Her brother looked at her in complete and utter shock. "Yeah that's what I looked like, it said something about me being creative but I don't know what it's talking about."

"The Hat gets stuff wrong all the time Sadie." James spoke up. "Like putting Molly and Albus into Slytherin."

"Like almost putting you into Slytherin James?" Rose asked him and everybody looked at him bewildered. "Oh don't look that shocked he's an arrogant sod that's ambitious enough to be in Slytherin. Don't worry all the adults already know."

All of a sudden everybody started bickering at once, maybe Ravenclaw would have been a better house, less drama. "It doesn't matter. Now let's just watch Louis get sorted." Sadie said to everyone before once more turning her attention to the sorting.
