Chapter 21:

Bust Out

(Laila's POV)

I don't know how much I stay dreaming but all I could hear was silent and later I feel my arm in pain which cause me to open my eyes. But I couldn't move sends I'm all chain up. Then the pain got even worse and I feel Akiza in danger, then I feel an earthquake. That mean bad news for us, the Dark Signers were here, but it seem that a that Dark Signer most have been reborn in the City. Something happen in here and that make the Dark Signer appear. Then from outside I hear something that make my chains be off me and I was free, I try to stand up but I fall, before I could feel the ground I feel two strong arms holding me. I look up and found Adrian holding me but something strange happen to him, his hair was not red but black.

- Adrian? What are you doing here?- I ask him.

- I'm here because my card told me that you were in danger.- say Adrian and show me his Dark Moonlight Dragon. That's right, his card is the counter part of Moonlight Dragon. My card, the one I left in Satellite. - You know… you look different.

- So are you.- I say to him which make him smile.

- You know we have to get out of here. I manage to get inside but by that time that earthquake appear.- say Adrian.

- I know. It's a Dark Signer, whoever it is… something happen in here that make it to be reborn and start a Shadow Duel right here and now.- I say to him while he help me stand up but I was too weak to walk so he hold me on his arms so my feet weren't touching the ground.

- That's quick enough to get out of here.- say Adrian already leaving the room.

- We can't leave!- I say to him.

- Why not?- he ask me.

- Because Luna, Leo and the others are here too.- I say to him worry.

- The twins are here?- he ask me unbelievable.

- Yes, we try to speck with Akiza until Sayer make some kind of smell that make us fall asleep and later I was lock up in that room that you just took me off.- I say to him.

- Well, we most find them and quickly.- say Adrian and we went to look for them until… another earthquake started. Then my mark start to glow and I feel knew in that moment that Akiza was in trouble. Not only a Dark Signer was reborn but another one show itself too. This can't be good, my friends are in danger unless we make it out of here alive there's no chance that those Dark Signers will let us go until the battle is over. Then I start to feel that Akiza was losing herself… as if… her mind was slip in two later we found that Tanner and Yanagi were taking Luna and Leo out of here by the stairs.

- They're out.- I say.

- Looks like it. Now I most take you out of here and bring you to a hospital. Whatever they were doing to you… wasn't good Laila. And maybe that's the reason why you feel so weak.- say Adrian concern and I knew he was right. But then Luna said Akiza's name and run off. I got a bad feeling about that.

- Let's go follow her.- I say.

- What?- ask Adrian.

- Trust me, everything is going to be find. I can still hold on of myself before I pass out.- I say to him. We look at each other until he give up.

- Alright. But if you get any worse I promise you that nothing that you tell me will make me change my mind of taking you to a hospital, ok?- ask Adrian which I only nod with a smile on my face. Adrian and I we were on top of Luna, Leo, Yanagi and Tanner and we watch Akiza duel someone and later… No way! Misty?

- Isn't that Misty?- I ask Adrian.

- She is.- say Adrian unbelievable.

- So she's a Dark Signer. I wonder if…- I say but I couldn't finish. Went the others start to scream in surprise. Then Misty said something about Earthbound Immortal something and later my mark start to hurt even more until it glow even much more. Then the ground start to shake again. Later a red shield appear around us and I feel safe.

- What's this?- ask Adrian.

- I don't know, but… I think we're save inside here. Whatever Misty summon… I dough it's good.- I say. Then Misty said that those strange lights were the souls of New Domino's citizens. So to get their monsters out… they need the energy of taking souls to come alive. Then we all hear a scream from above and I knew it was Sayer. So he's the one who's battling with the other Dark Signer. Then another shake happen and I assume that the Dark Signer who's battling Sayer is about to summon another Earthbound Immortal on the field. This is bad, we need to get out of here before this place crumbles. Another shake appear and this time from the top floor Sayer start to fall down to his dome. Then the walls start to brake.

- Time to move.- say Adrian and we run away from there before the building start to fall down. We got out but by the time we got out I start to lose consciousness and everything turn dark again. The only thing that I could still hear was that Adrian was scream my name and that I need to hold on, but later his voice fade and so… was I.
