So it has been a really long time since I last updated, and I'm afraid to say that updates might be long in the waiting and rather short from here on out, at least until I can actually get a hold on my life.
To everyone who has reviewed and been understanding, my deepest gratitude. To the guest who said I forgot about the thing I planned with Shockwave and Evelyn? I have not forgotten, because the fun is only just now beginning.
You better hope you have a seat belt because this story is about to get WILD
Song to listen to while reading: Turn Off The Lights by Panic! At The Disco
Megan noticed something odd as soon as Kiwi returned to the Nemesis. She was different somehow, and it worried her.
''Kiwi? Did something happen? Did Vince do something to you?'' Stella was already asking her friend, and Megan was listening in on their conversation.
''No, nothing has happened, and he did nothing to me. It was actually very nice to get out of the Nemesis'' she said, and Stella blinked at her friend.
'' Really? What happened?'' she asked, and Kiwi smiled.
''I remembered what it was like to be outside, to have a glimpse into what it means to be normal!'' she said, smiling, and Stella looked shocked while Megan's mind reeled.
There's no way she could want to leave, is there? she thought to herself, hoping it was not even a possibility. She shook her head as she tuned back into what Kiwi was saying.
''Nothing new ever happens here really, and its so unrealistic! I mean, at the beginning, it was like 'Oh whoa! Giant robots that want to kill us if we blink wrong!' and now? Its like it flipped, and really its lost its magic to me. I just miss being able to talk about anything and everything with whoever I chose and not having to keep secrets all the time! Everything I say and do around those who don't know that they bots and cons exist, literally everything, has to be thought out before I say it or else the whole world will know and it will be chaos... I just miss not having to hold such huge responsibilities. I miss it when my biggest worry was getting away from home and getting good grades and going to college! I just, it hurts my head having to balance my life on everything that I've come to know!'' she said, and her eyes looked glassy. Stella was looking at her as if she didn't even know her.
''Kiwi...Are you...Are you thinking about leaving?'' she asked, bewildered that one of her closest friends felt this way, and Kiwi shook her head.
''That's just it though, isn't it? I can't leave, because then I know I would hurt even more because I would be missing out on everything and everyone I've come to love, and I can't just abandon my life as I know it now, but I just don't know what to do anymore! I just want to be able to live in both worlds, this one and the world below where no one knows about the bots and cons, I want to be able to have one foot in each place and not have to risk everything!'' she said, running her fingers through her hair. Stella nodded, understanding but not sharing the feelings her friend had.
''Kiwi, look at it this way... We were shown this world for a reason, we were rescued from a world that wanted nothing but to hurt us, and we were given another chance. We helped stop a war, Kiwi! With just our personalities and love of music! Don't let that slip your mind, no matter how much you think this adventure has lost its magic, you just have to know how to open your eyes and see that the magic is still there, never ending and never dead! WE, not some other random group of friends, or perhaps even people who don't know each other at all, were given the joy of experiencing this. WE were, and that has to count for something!'' Stella said, and Kiwi nodded at her, borderline crying.
''I know, I know, but I don't know how to see anything exciting anymore! My mind is spiraling out of control and I'm starting to slip so far into this madness that I'll never be able to break free!'' Kiwi said, and Stella hugged her.
''And that's what we're for'' she said, and Megan nodded to herself. She would make sure her friend could see all the joy and magic in this adventure again, and she would never forget it ever again.
Shockwave had himself secluded away in his lab, alone. Predaking had diverted from him greatly, now becoming almost pet-like since Stella befriended him. He was no longer the beast that Shockwave had trained him to be, and Shockwave despised it. Those girls were nothing but troublemaking heathens in his mind, and he honestly wished he could destroy them. Perhaps if he did then Megatron and the others would finally get their thoughts back and continue doing what they were meant to do, destroy all opposition and control everything. Alas, the girls stood in the way of everything the decepticons represented, altering and changing everything to their whimsical desires.
He also still held curiosity about the new human that the autobots had taken in, and he wanted to know what powers she possessed within her fragile organic body. He would find out soon, hopefully, as soon as he had removed a few pests from the Nemesis...
Evelyn looked around her curiously, taking in everything she possibly could. As the weeks had passed since she had developed her startling physical changes, she had also undergone many changes in her personality and mind. The energy that was so much like a spark that surrounded her heart had spread further, and she had learned that it was not spark energy at all, regardless of how similar they seemed. It was something else entirely, she simply wasn't sure what it was. As time progressed though, she would learn.
So yeah, super short update but an update nonetheless. Hopefully they will begin to come sooner as school ends, but until then I have exams to study for so yeah.
