It's been a while and I'm sure you guys are assuming it is because I started school. Wow who knew AP biology is... is... HELL?! AP BIOLOGY IS HELL EVERYONE like wtf on the first test there was nothing that we went over in class nor in the study guides and yeah I was literally sent to hell. I somehow got an 80 though (guess 50% of the time).
I know a lot of you guys really don't care about my personal life and just my story but I really do enjoy sharing things with you guys! And thank you everyone for asking me questions on askfm, they really make my day! I love talking to you guys.
And yes, last chapter was SUPER SATISFYING. But I don't think you guys are satisfied enough so how about we continue with chapter 21?
By the way, this chapter is gonna super family mushy kawaii shet because it's like... the final chapter of the actual story.
Now, I'm just going to warn you that this chapter is going to be short. I'm wrapping the story up. The next chapter will be the epilogue and I'll have 2 extra chapters afterwards (wedding + into the future with the kids).
Disclaimer: I do not own Drew's Flygon which was kept a secret specially from May for the Grand Festival. SO ROMANTIC
When May woke up the next morning, the first thing she saw was Drew's face. She smiled and swept his fringe away. She recalled last night when she told him she wished for him to be bald. May laughed and whispered, "I love your hair."
His eyes flew open right after she said that. "I knew you did," he said.
May's heart stopped and she flipped to face the wall, away from Drew. "Wh-what?" she stuttered. "You were awake?"
"Long before you woke up," he said, smirking. "I noticed you seem to really like my features, May."
May flushed and she covered herself with the blankets. Wait, May thought, he was up way before I was? She then turned back to face him but this time, with a smirk of her own. "You were up before me, huh?" she said. "And it seems you haven't moved at all, so you were looking at my face this whole time right? It seems you like my features a lot, Drew."
Drew was speechless and he looked away. "So what?"
May grinned. "Got you," she said with a laugh. She could see the light pink color flush on his cheeks. She continued to laugh and Drew got out of the bed, picking up his clothes on the bed. "Aw, come on Drew, are you mad?" She also got out of the blankets and Drew quickly smirked. May looked down and she quickly went back under the blankets. "You're evil."
"Am not," he said, putting his shirt on. "I didn't do anything." He quickly put his pants on and walked over to the blanket-wrapped brunette. He sat on the bed and from behind, he wrapped both arms around her. "This is what every morning is supposed to be like," he said.
She pushed him away. "I'd rather have my clothes on every morning, thank you very much," she said. Drew laughed. "Can you get out so I can get dressed?"
Drew just embraced her again. "No. I've already seen everything. It doesn't matter."
That just made May blush a deep red and pushed him away again. "Seriously! Go away." But he just grabbed her hands to stop her and he leaned down to peck her lips quickly.
She froze and he smirked. She looked at him and covered her face with both hands. "What?" Drew said.
"You surprised me," she said quietly. He couldn't help but find her extremely adorable. He moved her hands away from her face, and slowly, he leaned back in to meet her lips—
Ding dong
The two quickly stepped away from each other. The doorbell continued to ring nonstop and Drew cleared his throat. "Uh," he said, "I'll go get that." May nodded and watched the green-haired man scramble out of the room.
Drew opened the front door and saw Marina hand-in-hand with Taylor. Taylor's face lightened up when he saw Drew. "Uncle Drew!" he exclaimed, letting go of Marina's hand and running to hug Drew. Drew bent down.
"Morning, Taylor," Drew said. "Sorry you had to stay over at Marina's house last night."
"It's okay," Taylor said. "Marina said you had a super duper important with mom so that's okay."
"Yeah," Drew said. "It was super duper important." He stood up and nodded at Marina. "Thanks."
She rolled her eyes. "I hope things got hot and heavy last night with May, or what I did for you guys would've been pointless." Drew didn't say anything since things did get 'hot and heavy', but he really didn't want to admit it out loud. "Anyways, where is May?"
"Uh," Drew said. "She's upstairs in her room."
"Her room?" Marina repeated. "Okay, whatever. I have to go to work. Tell May she needs to treat me sometime." She waved and quickly left.
"Uncle Drew," Taylor said. Drew bent down to his level. "Are you going to stay with me and mom forever?"
Drew couldn't help but grin. "Where did you hear that?"
"Well, Aunt Marina said that the super duper talk with mom was about you getting to stay with us forever," Taylor said. "Did the talk work?"
That's when May walked down. "Taylor!" she said happily. Taylor smiled widely when he saw his mom. "What are you talking about?"
"He's asking if I get to stay with you two forever," Drew said.
May blinked for a second and she looked back at her son who had excited eyes. "So, mom?" Taylor said.
The brunette just nodded and Taylor screamed happily, hugging Drew again. Drew just laughed and hugged him back. "Wait," Taylor said. "Does that mean you became my dad?"
There was a silence. May wasn't prepared for this. She still hadn't thought of how she was going to tell Taylor that Drew was his dad all along.
Drew didn't really think much. "Yeah, I'm your dad. Sorry we didn't tell you."
Being the little simply-minded Taylor was, he also didn't think much. "Yay!"
May just laughed and bent down to hug the two. "First family hug," May said to Drew with a smile.
When Taylor wasn't looking, Drew quickly kissed May on the lips gently, and May did the same in return.

The Next Night
May finished putting her last shirt in the box. She was packing yet again, and it hasn't even been long since she arrived at Coumarine City. They decided to move back to Humilau City, and probably in the near future they thought of moving back to the Hoenn Region. She really had no reason to stay in Coumarine anymore since Drew was now hers once again. Not that she was complaining.
From her nearly empty room, May could smell something, and she wasn't quite sure if it was supposed to smell good or bad. She paled and quickly stood up and raced down the stairs to the kitchen. "Drew!?"
Drew was standing in the kitchen with a box of instant rice in his hands. "Yes, May?"
"Uh..." she said, eying what was in his hands. "What are you doing?"
"I'm cooking," he said. "You and Taylor seem so busy to the fact that you've forgotten you haven't eaten, so I decided to make some food."
"I already gave Taylor food. He's sleeping now."
He shrugged. "Okay, it'll be for the two of us then."
May faked a smile. "It's okay Drew, thanks though," she said. Drew could already see through that fake smile.
"Come on May," he said. "Five years ago I cooked for you. Maybe in the car accident I forgot how to cook so that's why I sucked. I'm probably better."
The brunette rolled her eyes and walked over to him and snatched the instant rice. "Forget it," she said. "I'm going to be blunt, Drew, you suck at cooking. Don't."
Drew just snatched it back. "No. Go pack."
May's hands refused to let go. "No. You pack."
"Are you really going to be like this?" Drew questioned, not letting himself lose to her.
May was the same. She wasn't going to let him win. "Yes I am, until you give in."
"Never," he said.
The brunette narrowed her eyes.
With both his hands refusing to let go of the box of pasta, Drew took a step closer to May. She noticed that and she immediately took a step back, but still stubbornly held on to the pasta. He continued to inch closer and a smirk was now painted on his face.
When he was almost too close and May couldn't take another step back, she paled. "What?" Drew said, noticing her nervous expression. His face was only a few centimeters away. He leaned down to her ear and whispered, "Let me cook for you," in an ever so seductive voice.
May almost stopped breathing once his words left his mouth. She let go of the pasta and pushed him away, her face completely red. "Fine! Have it your way. I'll pack." She marched away angrily and Drew just stood there, and started laughing hysterically. "So annoying," May muttered when Drew was out of earshot.
As she walked away, her phone rang.
"Hello?"
"MAY!" It was Dawn, nearly out of breath. "Sorry, was I too loud?" May couldn't even say anything until Dawn starting blabbing some more. "ANYWAYS. Forget about that. You, my dear, haven't contacted me, Leaf, OR Misty! You saw Drew, didn't you? HOW DID IT GO?"
What a friend May is. She had forgotten to tell her bestest friends of the bestest thing that had happened to her. May cleared her throat. "Well," she said, "I'm coming back to Humilau City."
There was a silence.
"Hello?" May said.
"Are you serious?" Dawn said.
May blinked. "Yes?"
"Wait. Did you already meet Drew?"
"How did you know?"
There was another silence until May heard Dawn squeal. "YES! OKAY. SO YOU'RE COMING BACK WITH HIM RIGHT?"
May bit her lip. "Mhm," she said quietly.
"Oh my god," Dawn said, "Good. I love it. This is amazing. Finally. You're happy. Text me what time you'll be at the station and when."
"Wait, Da—"
Dawn had hung up and May sighed. She knew it; Dawn had been plotting something all along.
May looked back at Drew, reading the recipe for spaghetti frustratedly.
She is happy.

"Are we there yet?"
"No, Taylor, not yet."
There was a pause.
"Now?"
"No, Taylor, does it look like we're there yet?"
The boy pouted and crossed his arms. "How long have we been on this train?"
"A long time," May answered. She reached over and pulled her son closer, letting him rest against her. "Just sleep. We'll be there soon."
"You said we were going to be there soon last time," Taylor complained. "It's already soon."
"Taylor, please. I think this is a long ride too."
"Where's daddy?"
Drew had to catch the next ride that was thirty minutes after hers (or at least that's what he had told her) because both rides were nearly booked since they bought the tickets late. May was lucky enough to manage to get two seats next to each other; for herself and Taylor.
"He's on the other train, remember?" May said. "Now sleep, okay? I want to sleep too."
There was no reply from Taylor, since he had fallen asleep. May could tell he was tired. He was already crying when he found out Drew wasn't riding the same train as them. The little boy thought Drew was leaving them yet again, and Taylor refused to leave. Not to mention that he couldn't take his nap because they had to catch a taxi, do final packing, walk to their train, and not to mention it wasn't really quiet inside.
May carefully reached down in her backpack to pull out his blanket. She gently covered him with the blanket and pulled out her phone.
One thing she hated about this train is that there was no service at all. She couldn't get any contact with Drew, which really pissed her off.
May put her phone away and closed her eyes, letting herself fall asleep too.
Half an Hour Later
May woke up almost immediately when nearly everyone in the train started talking frantically. Taylor had already woken up and was reading his picture book. She reached over to tap someone on the shoulder. "What's going on?"
"You didn't hear the announcement?" the lady said. "Apparently, one of the other trains had an accident."
May's heart stopped. "Excuse me?"
"One of the trains," she said. "We weren't informed of which train it was, but I think the train is heading to Unova like ours. It's such a shame."
May couldn't say anything. Her voice couldn't even come out.
"Mom?" Taylor said. "What's wrong?"
She wrapped her arms around him and bit her lip, trying her best not to cry. She sniffed really loudly and wiped her eyes. "It's nothing," May said. No, it isn't nothing. That train...
That could have been Drew's.

May held Taylor's hand and walked out of the train. May's head was clouded with worrisome thoughts about the train that was in an accident. Apparently when the train was turning at a curve, it had flew off the small hill and tumbled down, some of the carts had fallen into the river.
May started to feel sick.
When they stepped out, May already noticed Dawn and them.
They ran up to her screaming.
"MAY!" Dawn and Leaf yelled at the same time, wrapping both their arms around her. "I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!"
Taylor let go of May's arm and ran over to Charlotte, where Paul was. They also screamed and hugged each other.
Misty was dragging Ash behind her. She ran up to the three women. "Hey May!" Misty yelled. She ran up to them and was about to join their group hug, but then she stopped. "May?"
Dawn and Leaf also stopped screaming and hugging to take a good look at her face.
Tears were now streaming down her face.
"May?" Leaf said. She put a hand on her shoulder. "May? What's wrong?"
"I—" May started, wiping the tears away with the side of her hand. She pulled her phone out of her bag and dialed Drew's number.
The call didn't even ring. It went straight to voice mail.
May stared at her phone, more tears streaming out, bawling right there. Misty immediately went over to her and grabbed both her shoulders, making Leaf let go. "May!" she said. "Get a hold of yourself. What happened? Where's Drew?"
Dawn gasped. "Oh no! Where is Drew? Did he do something?"
"I'm going to kill him," Leaf muttered.
"N-no," May choked out between sobs. "It's not that. I... he..." May leaned to Misty and cried on her shoulder.
"May, what happened?" Misty said.
It took May so long to say it. "Drew's train is in an accident."
"WHAT?" Leaf and Dawn yelled at the same time.
Misty wrapped her arms around May tightly. "No, don't cry! Are you sure?"
May nodded. "Apparently one of the trains that were also heading to Unova crashed down a hill and even into the water. And I..."
"So you don't know for sure if it's Drew's train?" Leaf asked.
"I don't know why, but I have a feeling it is," May said, making herself cry even harder.
"Don't say that," Dawn said. "You don't know for sure. Why don't we go check?"
"I can go check," Leaf said. She ran over to where Gary was, which was where Paul and the others were. Gary and Leaf immediately stood up and ran to the front desk.
"Why don't we sit down for now?" Misty asked.
May continued to cry quietly, letting herself be dragged over to some seats. Dawn rushed to sit next to her and pulled out a tissue and handing it to her. "May," Dawn said. "We don't know if it's Drew's train. Which train is his?"
"The train after mine," she said. "It's supposed to come in twenty minutes."
Leaf rushed back to them. "The front desk said they don't know. They don't have all the details."
That just made May cry even more. "What if I lose him again?" May exclaimed. "Do I have to wait another five years?"
"May, chill!" Dawn said. "Where is his train going to come? Here?"
"No," she said. "I think it was B76."
"Okay, let's go there then," Misty said. "Taylor will stay with Charlotte and our uh, boyfriends, okay?"
May nodded. "Okay."
"I'll go tell Paul," Dawn said. Misty, May, and Leaf walked through the station to find Drew's gate.
"What time is it coming?" Misty asked.
"7:34."
"What time is it?" Misty asked Leaf.
Leaf looked at her phone. "7:25."
"Okay, there's still some time. May, it's okay." They reached the gate and walked in. "See, there are a lot of people here waiting for the train. I don't think it was that one."
"That's because they don't know. I know because our engineer or conductor or driver or whatever you want to call it said that a train had crashed. Oh, Misty, what do I do if Drew is gone?"
The two wrapped an arm around her and they pushed her to sit down. They tried comforting her, but May continued to cry quietly.
Fifteen minutes had passed.
"It's late," Leaf whispered.
Dawn had already appeared and was sitting with Misty. "Don't worry," Dawn assured. "May, you're train was late too."
"By a minute," May said.
They waited another five minutes. When it was already past 7:50, May couldn't handle it. She stood up and ran out of that lobby, rushing to find someone who could answer her questions. "May!" Misty yelled, running after her.
May found the front desk. She quickly wiped her tears and walked straight over to the desk, budging everyone in line.
"Excuse me, miss, but you're going to have to—"
"Which train had an accident?" May interrupted.
"Miss, I'm sorry, but—"
"Just answer me!" May exclaimed, trying to not raise her voice. "Just tell me, please."
"I'm not sure, but miss, please s—"
"Just tell me which train crashed!"
Leaf caught her and ran up to her, grabbing her arm. "May, you're asking the wrong person. We can ask the police or someone."
May let herself be dragged by Leaf, hiding her face with her hands, but tears were still flowing out. Suddenly, her knees couldn't hold herself up anymore and she collapsed to the ground. "May!" Leaf exclaimed. "May, I'm sorry, but don't lose it. He's going to be alright!"
"How do you know?" May yelled through sobs. "You don't know. Nobody knows!" She cried her heart out right there, in the middle of the train station. Leaf started to cry too and she wrapped her arms around her, trying to make her feel at least a little bit better. "What if I lost him..." Leaf hugged her tighter, no longer caring about the people walking by, giving them strange looks.
"May?"
The voice made May's heart stop immediately. She wanted to turn around, but at the same time, she was scared that it wasn't him.
"May," Leaf whispered. "Are you okay?"
May looked at her. "Did you hear that?"
Leaf frowned. "Hear what?" She looked around and she saw the one and only.
"May."
Leaf sighed in relief. "Turn around," she whispered.
That's when May did. She turned around and saw Drew only a couple feet away from her. He had his luggage in one hand and the other hand had his phone to his ear. He was looking straight at her, making May's heart swell.
Her tightened fists loosened up and she started crying again. Drew let go of his luggage and immediately ran to her, reaching down to pull her up. "What happened?" Drew exclaimed, holding on to her shoulders. "Why are you crying?" May stayed silent and continued to cry silently. He looked around and noticed Taylor wasn't there. "Did you lose Taylor? Don't cry, I'll help you look for him, okay?"
Drew was about to let go of her shoulders but May reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, bringing him closer.
"May?"
"I thought I lost you," May said.
"Me?" Drew was confused.
She stood on her tiptoes so she was able to rest her chin on his shoulder. "Yes, you," she said, still crying.
He hugged her back, but still had no idea what the heck was going on. "I don't know why you thought you'd lose me. I'm right here."
"I'm glad you are."
May pulled away a little to look at his face. Drew cupped her cheek. "Your eyes are all puffy. Why were you crying?"
"I said, I thought I lost you," May said.
"You have no reason to lose me, May." He kissed both her eyes gently.
Misty, Dawn, Paul, and everyone else appeared, all really relieved. Although it was kind of embarrassing to see their best friends hugging each other with tear-stained faces in the middle of a lobby, they didn't care.
But Ash interrupted.
"So," Ash said to them, "It turns out that the train that had crashed was just carrying watermelon."
"What?" Misty exclaimed.
"Hey, Ash, you shouldn't ruin their moment," Leaf said to him angrily.
The green-haired man look at May. "You thought I was in an accident?" Drew asked. She nodded. "There's no way I would allow myself to be in another accident, not when I could finally have you again."
May smiled, saying nothing but wrapping both arms around him again tightly.
"I know," she said. "I love you."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, tucking her head under his chin.
"I love you, too."
The end.
Thank you everyone for reading!
