Patricia's POV
"…"
"Eddie? Say something?" I pleaded.
"… Um… that's… er… great, Yacker," he said, trying to smile.
"I haven't been living under a rock, you know. And I HAVE been your girlfriend for 4 years. I know when you mean something and when you're trying to hide something," I said coldly and walked out of the room.
"Patri-… What's the use…?" I heard him mumble the last part. I walked into the bedroom and locked the door.
.
In the morning
I honestly had NO idea of what happened after I locked the door last night. Surprisingly, I didn't throw up this morning – what a miracle… *sarcasm*. I decided to get out of the room, since I'd have to face him sometime. I reached out for the door handle and slowly twisted it. However, it was quiet – too quiet for my liking.

Eddie's POV
'I can't believe you did that to her!' was all my head was saying to me. Yup. I, being the dorky idiot I was, had left Patricia. No, don't get me wrong – I'm not planning to leave her for the rest of my life or something – I just need time to think. I honestly don't think I'm ready to be a father yet. I know I'm married and all… but… it just doesn't feel right… yet…
"Destination." The driver said playfully, snapping me back to reality.
"Oh… thanks," I said, handing him the fee required and getting out of the car. I looked up at the tall building that stood before me. I sighed and made my way in with my bags.
"Um… hi? I'm here to book a room?" I asked.
.
I was now sitting in my room at the hotel, watching tv. However, my mind was elsewhere. Patricia.

Patricia's POV
I couldn't see or hear Eddie. My guts told me something was wrong. Very wrong. I made my way to the kitchen, only to find a note. From Eddie.
Dearest Yacker…
I know I'm an idiot. I've left only to think about stuff, but I promise I'll be back. I… just don't think I'm ready yet – to be a father. As soon as I've thought things through, I'll be back.
Love,
Eddie…
Something was pouring down my face, oh wait, they were tears. I wiped them up angrily and got up. Got up to go to the doctors. This was a mistake I was going to regret…

Eddie's POV
I suddenly jerk up from my slouching position. What was I doing here, in a hotel, while I have a child and wife to look after? Didn't I remember how hard it was for ME as a child because I had no father? Didn't I vow to myself that I'd never do that? But what was I doing now? I rushed to the bedroom and grabbed my unpacked bag. I headed towards the bus stop and hopped into a cab. I hastily gave him my home address and asked him to make it there asap. I just hoped that Patricia wouldn't be mad… wait, who am I kidding?...
I had NO idea what was waiting…

(A/N: OMGosh! What's going on? LOL, review and you find out…)
