It was the night of the Finals of the Scare Games and Mike was pumped as he and the rest of Oozma Kappa, before going into the stadium he was having some last minute words with Laura and Randy who were both wearing Oozma Kappa shirts. "Good luck in there, Mikey." Randy was telling them as Laura was sporting a supportive smile only for the smiles to falter when they spotted Worthington walking toward them.

"What do you want Johnny?" Mike asked with a glare deciding to use some insulting sarcasm when using Worthington's first name "come to surrender before the final?"

Johnny chuckled before answering "no I have come to wish you all luck since you will definitely need it! You have done better than I thought you would have done but that surprising turn of events changes nothing, me and my scare brothers will prove to the entire school that you do not belong in the big leagues and when your fifteen minutes of fame are up, there won't be a monster in Monsters University who will even remember you exist! Our destinies are written in stone and while it is the destiny of me and the rest of Roar Omega Roar to forever be on top of the monster world, it will be your destiny to forever be in the bottom of the barrel."

"Sorry about before Laura..." Johnny then whispered softly to Laura making her cheeks blur with furious anger "once I am done proving that your little puppy Cyclops would never make it in MY scare program who don't you come to the Roar Omega Roar victory party we will be hosting and we can stall over."

Laura did not answer as she went to find her seat in the stadium next to her fellow HSS sisters with Randy not far behind, "We will have the last laugh Mikey, don't you worry!" Sulley whispered to Mike and Mike nodded with a serious face. Mike motioned Oozma Kappa to follow them as they went to the stadium grounds for the final event.

They entered and before the event started everyone stood up to chant the monsters University anthem, after that Mike look around the crowd. While there were definitely supporters for ROR to win, Oozma Kappa had gotten themselves quite a following in the school which showed with the amounts of students holding signs. Squishy's mum was showing support as well as Mike's parents (Ron even brought a megaphone to help him cheer his son on), Randy, Laura and of course HSS were showing their support and even Laura's parents had came to cheer on the best friend of the daughter. Sulley even noticed that his father bill Sullivan (who was not sitting far from his friend Fillmore) had turned up and Sulley knew this was his chance to legitimately prove himself he was no longer the same brat who was bragging about his future that would be set in stone.

Then the final started with two competitors from each team having a go at the Scare Simulator and the team told Mike they unanimously decided that Mike would be the last one in. Don had done well as the first one in with a higher score than the ROR's first choice and had even used the 'take it easy on grandpa' insult that had been used against him to throw right back at his opponent, the Terry twins were next and were going against Johnny's right hand monster Alexander Chet and while the twins got a lower score it still was not a bad score though, Squishy had done well but Art was not so lucky since his scare was not that big.

It was soon Sulley's turn and he had managed to make one impressive roar which was effective since he used what scared the fake robot kid had been afraid of in his file, the scare was so impressive that i managed to put ROR's representative against him off balance which resulted in a low score for ROR. With two more representatives for the finalists to go the scores were close and nearly tied.

Mike was nervous as he was on his mark as he would be going against the arrogant conceited president of Roar Omega Roar himself, Johnny Worthington III. This was what he had been waiting for since he had met the ROR leader, a chance to prove him wrong and shut him up.

Sulley gave him a little prep talk telling him he could do it, Johnny gave an arrogant smirk as they were on their marks, "I will let you embarrass yourself first Wazowski." Worthington laughed which only fuelled Mike's determination.

Then they ran to the scare simulator and Johnny waited outside and allowed Mike to look at his file first and go inside, Mike was lying at the side of the bed and he remembered what Randy discovered about angry thoughts helping to make a more effective scare and it helped him get through the scare final.

He allowed himself to think of all the insults that had been thrown at him by Worthington and ROR since the stupid party and it fuelled his determination and rage with each thought, "I will not let Laura, Randy and Oozma Kappa down..." Mike thought as he went and gave his scare against the scare simulator robot.

He looked up at the score meter and saw that it was a good scare overall, as this was happening Johnny smirked about how Mike was probably panicking about going against someone like him and he entered the door forgetting to do one simple thing.

"This is it Johnny..." Johnny smirked with great arrogance as he carefully walked through the room and was now in front of the bed "After you humiliate Wazowski right now he, Sullivan and the rest of Oozma Kappa will never show their faces again and they will realise they never belonged in my scare program! Sharp will realise what she had been missing out on and will now know who she truly belongs to! Once I scare this robot...hang on, what scare do I use?"

In his arrogant thinking and not wanting to wait to show up Wazowski he realised he forgot to check the file to see what this robot feared, with this realisation he panicked and allowed himself to get careless and step on a toy that had been lying on the floor. The robot came up which startled Johnny and it gave out what could only be considered a slight yelp.

The victory sound came from the OK box and the crowd cheered into applause as MU student body president Clare pretty much stopped acting like herself as she was cheering on OK while stating the results through the microphone. Mike could not believe this was happening, he had done it! He did not have time to dwindle on this thought as he was handed the Scare Games trophy and hosted in the air by Oozma Kappa as the cheering fans came onto the stadium and chanting Oozma Kappa's name.

Dean Hardscrabble had a face that Laura could only describe as surprised to her pleasure, she noticed among the fans that come onto the field was her parents, Sulley's dad and Mike's parents who were cheering as if their lives depended on it. "A picture is worth a thousand words!" Randy laughed as hard as he could as he pointed to Roar Omega Roar looking embarrassed and angry at Worthington whose shocked gobsmacked face was even better than it had been when he discovered who the victim of his failed prank had been. As the infamous photographer student Lane Picca was taking pictures of OK's celebrating and the faces of the runner ups and as Randy was asking Lane for a copy of the pictures she was taking (especially the ones with ROR) Laura decided what she had to do now and it was mainly impulse that fuelled her actions.

She went and got into the circle that was carrying Mike and she took Mike's face and gave him a kiss which lasted a minute. After she let go she blushed hard realising what she had done as Mike's face was frozen with shocked, Randy had a big smirk on his face, Eta Hiss Hiss was cheering at this along with several other students, Laura's parents along with Mike's were smiling hugely at this and OK looked happy as well (with Squishy giving a smile and a thumbs up after giving a big sigh.).

"Can you do that again Laura?" Mike asked his lifelong best friend once he found his voice and Laura gladly did so with Lane taking pictures like mad of the new couple's second kiss with the usually camera shy Laura not noticing.

ROR had left their leader alone whose shocked face had become one of fury and to top it all of Gino, Pete and RePete the computing majors who Johnny talked to earlier in the year walked up to him. "You said a girl like Sharp was worthy of only the best Worthington." Gino said repeating the words Worthington had said to them "and you were completely right, now she is with the best!"

"You will not get away with this Wazowski..." Worthington snarled under his breath knowing his reputation would never be the same again "I promise you..."

"We could not deny our feelings any long and this topped off the great feeling of winning the Scare Games and proving Worthington wrong, of course we did have to endure five hours of Randy's 'I told you so' lines the victory party the student body held for ups the next day but it was well worth it, since then OK got respect as a top fraternity and at the end of the year we had gained close friends with Randy and the whole of OK and HSS." Mike smiled at the memory after his wife finished but then he looked down "of course one of the happiest nights of our lives did officially create a new enemy but we will get to that part."

"How about we skip a head a few years to our first day." Laura suggested and Mike nodded with little Fillmore sitting excitedly "so here is how it goes..."
