(Bakura to Ryou)

)Ryou to Bakura(

Hope you like!

((((((LINE))))))

Three weeks after everything had been resolved, things had started to calm down. The 'double murder suicide' that had garnered Domino High a lot of attention from the press was finally fading. Yami and Yugi were starting to take over running the shop as Solomon's health began to decline and the Ishtars were finally living comfortably together. Though for Ryou and Bakura it seemed to be a little more complicated.

"No."

Bakura huffed, rolling his eyes as he crossed his arms. "Ryou."

"No means no, Bakura." Ryou slipped biscuits in the oven to serve with the fish frying on the stove.

The yami snorted, moving to stand behind the smaller. Bakura wrapped his arms around the cooking boy's waist and pressed wet kisses on Ryou's neck. "You're being ridiculous."

Swallowing lightly, the hikari did his best to concentrate on the fish. His grip on the spatula tightened as the hands around him slowly slipped beneath his shirt. "Bakura…"

"Yes?" Teeth started to nip at Ryou's neck and he shuddered.

He bit the inside of his cheek to keep from making any sound that might encourage Bakura, but he still had to make his point. "I'm not going to," the hikari's heart skipped a beat as the hands under his shirt started to move up, just barely grazing his nipples, "going to let you…Uh…"

Bakura smirked, turning the smaller around into a searing kiss. When he pulled away, his smirk only widened at the dazed look on Ryou's face. "You don't sound very convincing, Yadonushi."

Before the yami could tease the other further, he pulled down into another kiss. Chuckling as hands wrapped around his neck, Bakura happily obliged, sliding his tongue into Ryou's more than willing mouth. The two entangled together, forgetting about the world around them.

Suddenly, something made Bakura's nose wrinkle and he pulled away to sniff at the air. "Is something burning?"
"Huh?" Ryou blinked for a second before his eyes widened. "The fish! Shit!" Even though the mood had been ruined, the yami still grinned at the cuss. Perhaps he was affecting his hikari.

Ryou turned back around to flip the slightly charred dinner, sighing at seeing it had only just begun to burn. It was still salvageable. He shut the stove off and moved over to take the biscuits, now sufficiently warm, out of the oven.

Attempting to ignite the hikari again, Bakura hummed as he wrapped his arms around Ryou's waist. "So about the job…"

But the smaller wasn't going to fall for it twice. He snorted as he stepped out of the arms to grab two plates from the cupboard. "No, Bakura."

"Why the hell not?" The man groaned as he leaned against the counter, staring up at the ceiling. "They're offering good money, it'll help pay those ridiculous bills you're always complaining about."

"Bakura, it's dangerous! I don't want you to get hurt." Ryou quickly made up two plates, before moving to set them on the table.

"What do you take me for?" Bakura grinned as he sat down at the table. "I'm the Thief King, not some little kid. I won't get hurt."

The hikari bit his lip as he took the seat across from him. "We shouldn't push our luck with the IDs Kaiba gave us."

"Oh, please. Kaiba's too proud to give us anything that wouldn't work. And besides, it's only until the old tester gets out of the hospital." Leaning back in his chair, Bakura took a bite out of his biscuit.

"That's exactly what worries me! This new weapons company doesn't have any credentials and not a month after they open, their first trial run sends a man to the hospital! And then you, who had barely had your ID for a week, get a letter in the mail about their interest in you? You don't have any qualifications for this sort of thing! It seems too sketchy for me." Ryou huffed down at his fish, delicately cutting a piece before bringing it up to his mouth.

"You're just being paranoid." Bakura wasn't exactly eager about working, but Ryou had been worried for weeks about how they were going to pay the bills.

Ryou wavered for a minute, thinking for a minute how much the money would help. But then he shook his head and frowned at his yami. "No. There's no need for you to put yourself in danger just because I need a few extra dollars. I can get a job, a safe job."

The man snorted, obviously not believing it. Ryou had been searching for a job since he had found out he was behind on the bills, and had had no luck. Not many employers wanted a boy still in school. Which was why he did what he had done.

Believing the matter had been resolved, Ryou silently finished eating, before standing to take his plate to the sink. He gave his yami a smile and turned towards the sink. But just as he was about to place the dish there, a voice carried over from the table.

"I already accepted the job."

The plate fell into the sink with a clang, before he slowly faced Bakura. The determined look on the man's face gave him all the answer he needed. Anger replaced shock and the hikari stormed out of the kitchen and into the living room. "I can't believe you!"

He ran a hand through his hair, looking around as if searching for something else to direct his anger at. Bakura quickly followed the boy, a frown on his face. "Don't be like that, Ryou! You haven't been able to find a job yet and I had to take it before the offer went away! Don't deny that this will help."

"That doesn't matter!" Ryou whirled around to face his yami, eyes flashing. "I don't want to lose you!"

"And I don't want you to suffer, damn it! Even with your father sending you money, it isn't enough for two people to live off of. And I'm not the type to mooch off of someone." He reached forward and grabbed onto the hikari's shoulders, forcing the other to look at him.

Wincing lightly at the tight grip, Ryou grit his teeth, determined not to let up. "You aren't mooching off me, Bakura! I love you! You could never be a burden! I just…need a little more time until I can find somewhere to work."

"You're going to lose the house!" Bakura shoved the other away, eyes widening as he watched Ryou fall, both his back and head colliding with the living room table. "Oh, shit, Ryou, I didn't mean to do that. It-"

The hikari held up a hand, the other cradling his head as he stood up. Closing his eyes against the throbbing pain in his back, Ryou bit his lip to keep it from wobbling. He would not cry in front of his yami.

Bakura reached out a hand to the smaller as Ryou started to walk out of the room, but it was ignored. "Ryou, I-"

As soon as he reached the doorway to the living room, the hikari ran down the hall and up the stairs, quickly reaching his room and slamming the door behind him. Ryou heard the sound of something crashing downstairs and winced as he fell back on his bed. Brown eyes stared blankly up at the ceiling while a hand rubbed his chest lightly.

He gave a small chuckle, before turning on his side, eyes closing. It was hard to tell if the pang he felt every time he breathed was the anger and fear of Bakura taking the job or the betrayal of the man physically hurting him. Either way, it was going to be hard for Ryou to scrape up the courage to forgive the yami. And he would have to, wouldn't he? Ryou was always going to be the one who would have to give, the other was too stubborn to even consider an apology.

With a sigh, he started to rationalize Bakura's actions. The man had only taken the job because he was worried, right? They were pretty far behind on their bills, something had to change and soon. And the shove had been an accident really, Bakura hadn't meant to hurt him at all.

Ryou frowned and shifted onto his other side. He was too good at this. Now that the adrenaline was starting to leave his system, it was becoming more and more obvious that he had overreacted. Though Bakura sure hadn't helped any. With that in mind, the albino decided let the yami simmer and wait until morning to go apologize.

((((((LINE))))))

Taking a deep breath and sending up a prayer for strength, Ryou opened the door to his room and walked out into the hallway. Everything was quiet. The hikari frowned and made his way downstairs, trying his best not to make a sound. He peeked around the door of the living room to see Bakura curled up on the couch, his back facing Ryou.

Flinching at the sight of the shattered pot by the far wall, the boy slowly walked into the room. "Bakura?" The man grunted but didn't turn around. Ryou grit his teeth and walked over to the couch, sitting down on the arm by Bakura's head. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone off on you like that. It's your choice on if you want to take the job or not, not mine."

There was a long moment of silence and he started to think Bakura wouldn't answer. Ryou considered leaving the room, but there was a small huff before the man spoke. "Don't apologize when I'm the one who…If it makes you that unhappy, I won't take the job."

"But you want to do this, don't you?" He crossed his arms even as a small smile floated across the smaller's face. "I guess it won't be too bad, just…be careful, okay?"

Another grunt followed but Ryou already felt better having apologized. He stood up from the couch, giving one last look to the man who had yet to even move. Shaking his head, the hikari started to walk into the kitchen. He grabbed three eggs from the fridge and a pan from the cupboard before moving to the stove.

"I'm going to make us some breakfast, okay? It'll be ready in like ten minutes." Ryou yelled out to the living room.

And exactly ten minutes later, they were sitting next to each of other, eating silently. Ryou's leg bumped against Bakura's and a small smile grew on his face. He ducked his head to hide it, but couldn't stop the chuckle that came along with it.

The yami huffed, shoveling another scoop of scrambled eggs into his mouth. "What's so funny, Yadonushi?"

"Oh, it's nothing. I just remembered something Yugi told me a little while back." He waved a hand through the air to dismiss the subject.

"And?"

"He told me we act like a married couple." Ryou burst out laughing as Bakura choked on the food he had just put in his mouth. "Well, it's true, isn't it? We do argue a lot, but we always make up afterwards. Right?"

The hikari got a grunt as a reply, but he hadn't really been expecting much more. Shaking his head with a smile, Ryou finished eating and stood up with his plate. He reached out for Bakura's, which was roughly handed to him, before carrying them to the sink.

Today was Sunday, meaning the hikari didn't have school, so the two of them made their way to the living room. Neither really wanted to go out, so Bakura turned the TV on and Ryou grabbed a blanket, and the two settled in for the day.

((((((LINE))))))

Bakura groaned as he woke up, untangling his legs from the sheets before sliding out of bed. The sun hadn't even risen yet but he was expected to be at work in half an hour. Rolling his eyes, he looked over his shoulder at Ryou, who was still curled up on the bed. The hikari wouldn't have to get up for school for a couple more hours, emphasizing what terrible shifts Bakura had been given by his boss.

Two weeks after he had started working, and it was still a pain in the ass. At least he didn't have a specific uniform. He pulled on a white shirt and a pair of jeans, thinking back to the talk he had just had with his boss.

"What?"

The man's eye twitched, but he failed to respond to the annoyed tone. It had become a sort of agreement between the two. Bakura wouldn't pretend to enjoy being here, and his boss would ignore it for the sake of keeping a tester.

Bakura's boss shifted in his leather chair, a second chin forming as the man leaned back. "Bakura. I've just been informed that our previous tester has decided not to return to our company."

"And?" The yami crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. "What does that have to do with me?"

"I know we told you this would only be a temporary position, but after some discussion with the higher-ups, we would like to offer you a full-time station in our community."

He snorted, a smirk playing across his face. "You know the reason I'm even here to begin with. I'll stay as long as I said I would, but after that, I'm out."

"And you know what we make here." The man shifted to lean over his desk, his chair crying out in protest. "Believe me when I tell you we employ people who know how to use our products."

Bakura's smirk was quickly replaced with a scowl, and his eyes ignited. "Are you threatening me?"

"Of course not! We value our workers and would never endanger their lives!" Bakura raised an eyebrow. "And we keep ourselves quite informed on our employees as well, especially who they might be living with."

The albino's jaw tightened at the hidden meaning behind those words. "If you hurt Ryou, you die. Slowly."

His boss shrugged, clearly not intimidated.

Bakura shook his head against the memory and gave Ryou one last glance. As much as he hated to admit it, he couldn't always be with his hikari to protect him. The yami frowned, but turned to walk out the door. He would just have to think of some way to work this out.

Ten hours later and he's no closer to a solution as he walked into the kitchen. Bakura frowned at the sight of Ryou sitting at the table, but didn't acknowledge the other's presence for the sake of going to the fridge.

The smaller jerked at the sound of the fridge door opening, looking up from the piece of paper he had been holding in his hand. He sighed at the sight of Bakura, a grin forming on his face. Slowly folding up the bank statement, Ryou stood up and walked over to the yami. The boy hummed lightly as he leaned over the man's shoulder, looking in on the fridge as well.

Bakura looked at his hikari out of the corner of his eye, suddenly wary. "What's got you in such a good mood?"

"I just got a letter from the bank!" Ryou giggled and placed a kiss on his yami's cheek before straightening and holding up the paper. "All our bills have been paid off! Plus with your last paycheck, we have more than enough to last until I graduate in a few months and can get a job!"

"Oh." Stepping away from the fridge with nothing in hand, Bakura started to walk out of the room. "I'm tired. I'm going to bed."

Ryou pouted at the retreated back, before following after. "Isn't that great? You can quit that job now."

The two walked into the bedroom, the smaller watching as Bakura grabbed a pair of sweatpants and moved to the bathroom. Why wasn't the man happier? Ryou knew he hated working, so why wasn't Bakura ecstatic that he'd be able to quit? Had something happened?

He watched as his yami came back in the room in just the sweatpants and fell back on the bed, an arm thrown over his eyes. Frowning as he made the decision to right whatever had made his yami so cranky, Ryou moved to the bed and kissed Bakura's lips lightly.

The arm covering the man's eyes quickly shifted and wrapped around Ryou's neck, pulling the younger closer. Squeaking as he was flipped over, the hikari wrapped his arms around Bakura's neck, tangling his fingers in the other's hair. He heard a sound of approval from above as the kiss shifted into something deeper and a tongue slipped into his mouth.

A hand slid under his shirt as his eyes closed and Ryou whimpered lightly, easily seeing where this would be going and having no problem with it. They broke contact for Bakura to rip Ryou's shirt off, but fell together as soon as that was taken care of.

The hands were back on his body, and Ryou shivered at the freezing touch that slowly moved down his sides. He put his own hands on Bakura's hips, playing with the elastic band around the yami's waist. Their tongues tangled with each other, mouths open with heavy breaths.

Letting out a shaky moan as his yami's hands slipped his pants and boxers off, Ryou pressed up against the cold hands inching towards his throbbing member. Bakura cut the kiss off the nip at Ryou's ear, breathing lightly against it. "That's it, Yadonushi. I want to hear every noise your mouth can make as I break you."

He cried out as a hand gripped him tightly, arms flailing as his back arched off the bed. "Bakura!"

The man chuckled as he slowly moved his hand up, his lips moving to suck on Ryou's neck. A delicious whimper followed, and hands wrapped around either side of his head. While one hand was slowly torturing his hikari, the other tugged against his own pants, gradually removing them until they fell to the floor.

"Please…" He smirked at the whine, his tongue trailing down Ryou's chest to stop just before his pumping hand. "'Kura, please."
Bakura removed his hand to lightly blow a puff of air on Ryou. "Please, what?"

The boy groaned, his eyes squeezed as tight as the hands still wrapped in Bakura's hair. "Please…can you…"

"Hm? What was that, hikari?" His voice was sickly innocent against the loud cry Ryou made when he licked the tip of Ryou's member. "Can I what?"

"Ah! Bakura! Just suck me off already!"

All the blood in his body rushed south at the words and he smirked. "Well, since you asked nicely…"

The hikari screamed as a mouth wrapped around him, his hips thrusting up as the man above sucked harshly. His scream died to a breathy moan as Bakura rose up to pop his lips against Ryou's head. "Bakura…"

Bakura hummed as he went back down, the vibrations from the sound sending jolts up the smaller's spine. He swirled his tongue lightly, his body pulsing from the whine that came from above. Forcing down the gag that wanted to come out as he went down even further, the yami chuckled as the hands tangled in his hair tightened even further.

Feeling the body beneath him tighten to the point of snapping, Bakura reached his hands up and removed the fingers from his hair. The yami smirked at the sound of shock and disappointment Ryou made as he moved up to bury his nose in the smaller's neck.

"Who knew you would be so loud, Ryou." His tongue darted out, gently licking at the places his teeth nicked.

Ryou moaned, his head tilting to the side to give Bakura better access. "Why did you-Why did you stop, Bakura?"

"Getting a little impatient, aren't we?" The yami breathed in the musky scent of the air, his own member jerking in need.

"Mmph." As if in answer to the question, Ryou jerked his hips up, trying desperately to find some release.

"Don't worry…" Bakura's lips ghosted over his hikari's, "I have no intention of stopping."

The smaller moaned again, hearing the words but no longer having the mindset to comprehend them. Everything was burning. Even as he gripped the bed sheets with his hands and arched his back of the mattress, the world around him faded. The only thing that registered was Bakura and his cold hands on his burning body. He just wanted him to…

Ryou cried out as a cold finger gently pushed its way inside of him. Everything went into alarming focus as Bakura slowly started to move the finger inside him. It didn't hurt as much as Yugi and Malik had said it would, but it certainly felt weird. Like something was tugging at his insides and curling them together into a ball.

Bakura smirked down at him as he slowly slid in another finger, obviously sensing the younger's thoughts. When the two fingers started to move apart, Ryou gasped, his eyes widening almost comically. The yami chuckled, moving his fingers in the same motion to hit Ryou's prostate again.

Ryou bit his lip to the point of drawing blood, trying desperately not to whimper. A small strangled sound came out of his throat when Bakura slid in a third finger, striking that little ball of nerves again. The stretching feeling he got was strange, but every time his yami hit his prostate that thought disappeared with the pleasure that was sent jolting through his body.

After a few moments of pumping his fingers, Bakura pulled out, positioning himself above the hikari. For a moment he was worried about going in dry, but then Ryou moaned and he couldn't care less anymore.

He slowly moved his hips forward, leaning over to bury his face in the smaller's neck. It was taking all of his patience to keep from fucking the boy senseless and the clenching walls that surrounding him didn't help any. "Ra, Yadonushi…"

The hikari breathed out a moan, shifting closer to get Bakura deeper. It felt nice having the man inside of him, knowing they were linked in every way possible. Ryou held back a snort at the sappy thoughts, if Bakura had heard that there would be no end to the teasing.

"Rabbit…" The yami grunted as he started to move, at a pace that was painstakingly slow even for Ryou.

He licked his lips, jerking his hips forward in attempt to tell Bakura to pick up the speed. The man growled in the back of his throat and Ryou smirked, did Bakura really think that he would just lie here and let his yami take his own sweet time? No, Bakura had already teased him enough. He wanted release.

Quickening the pace, the man turned harsher with his thrusts too, not even pausing when Ryou cried out. Pleasure came crashing through the smaller's system, blocking out any connection between his mind and his body. All attempts to match Bakura's pace failed because whenever he had gotten even close, the man hit the one place inside of him that made him see white.

The ball that had started to pull at his insides and make his toes curl grew even bigger, and Ryou's arms shook as they reached up to grip his yami's shoulders. He gasped as the slope he was climbing got even steeper, his hands digging into the other's skin. Bakura smirked, unrelenting even as they both reached their end.

"Bakura!" Ryou screamed as he reached his peak, body arching of the bed.

The walls around the yami clenched and he groaned, emptying himself out as Ryou spilt across their stomachs. Bakura pulled out before lying next to Ryou, both of them panting and out of breath. Feeling his stomach start to dry, but not really caring, the hikari turned his head to slowly blink at Bakura.

Even covered in sweat the man didn't fail to look intimidating, and one look at the mouth that had opened to get more air had Ryou thinking of what Bakura could do with it. The smaller rolled on top of the other, straddling him just above the hips. He grinned down and tilted his head to the side as the yami lazily opened his eyes. )Wanna go again?(

Bakura smirked and flipped them over, chuckling at the following pout from Ryou. (Hell yeah.)

((((((LINE))))))

The next morning, Bakura untangled their limbs and slowly slid out of bed, even when he knew there was little chance of Ryou waking up. Instead of jumping in the shower, the man used a wet rag to clean himself up before he threw on some clothes and walked out the door. He looked back over at Ryou, who had shifted into the spot Bakura had been laying in, an arm stretched out as if searching for the other. He frowned, before turning back and stepping out into the hallway. As much as he hated it, Bakura couldn't risk quitting.

As he was walking towards the door, the bell rang. Bakura narrowed his eyes, wondering who could be here at this hour. Of course, it was probably Marik wanting to get an early start on his death wish. The man rolled his eyes, before yanking the door open to a scowling police officer.

Fifteen minutes later and a bored Bakura was examining his finger nails, much to the officer's annoyance. Bakura sat on the couch, looking up at the officer who was standing in front of the TV. "So what you're saying is, my boss got arrested."

"Correct, however, since you were an employee of the man's company, we're gonna have to-"

"Bakura?" Ryou drifted into the room in only a t-shirt and boxers, a hand rubbing lightly at his eye. "I thought I heard the doorbell, did you get it?" The hikari blinked, noticing the other occupant of the room for the first time. "Oh! I'm sorry! Do you want anything? I'm sure Bakura didn't offer. I can brew up some coffee or tea real quick if you'd like."

The officer swallowed and Bakura's eyes narrowed as he followed the direction of the man's stare. "No, thank you. I'm fine. Why don't you take a seat, Mister…"

"Oh, just Ryou is fine." The boy moved over to the couch, unaware of the eyes watching his every move. The moment he sat down, Ryou smiled up at the officer. )What did you do?(

(Nothing.)

The man cleared his throat, looking the hikari over one more time before focusing on the notepad in his hand. "As I was telling this young man here, the boss of Total Tools has been taken into custody for the unlawful use of weaponry and attempt of assassination. I came here today to take a Mr. Bakura in for questioning."

Ryou didn't falter in his smile. "That won't be necessary, Officer."

"It…won't?"

"Nope!" He stood up and started to move towards the door, gesturing to the officer to join him. "You see, Bakura had just decided to quit yesterday, and if he was in on any scheme, why would he do that?"

"Do you have any proof of that?"

Ryou whipped around to face the officer, eyes wide and innocent. The man blinked, his own stare drifting down for a long moment before returning to Ryou's face. The hikari licked his lips, seemingly oblivious to the eyes that followed. "I can vouch for him, of course."

(Ryou, I think you should-)

)Just trust me, 'Kura.(

The police officer took a step forward as Ryou took one back, his back now to the door. The man smirked, the short growl from behind drowned out by the pounding in his ears. "Really?"

Nodding lightly, the smaller brought his hand up to cover a yawn, before reaching out to lightly touch the man's arm. He smiled at the officer as the man moved even closer, trapping him against the door. "Yeah…oh, do you work out? Your muscles are really big."

The police officer smirked, flexing his arm under Ryou's hand. "Well, a little bit. For the job."

"Of course." He giggled, which morphed into another yawn.

There was a moment of silence, before the officer started to lean in closer. Bakura narrowed his eyes, ready to step in and pull the man away from his hikari. But before he could, Ryou slid to the side as he opened the door, sending the police officer stumbling outside to keep his balance.

The albino smiled sweetly at the man, tilting his head to the side. "Sorry, sir, but Bakura won't be able to come to the station with you. He has nothing to share." And Ryou promptly shut and locked the door.

"What the hell was that?" Ryou sighed, turning to face his slightly disgruntled yami. "Why the hell were you flirting with him?"

"Don't be like that, 'Kura." The hikari blinked his eyes lazily. "I wasn't flirting, I was acting."

"You pulled the leg of an official police officer." Bakura raised an eyebrow, a smirk starting to pull at the edges of his lips.

Ryou yawned once more, not even bothering to cover it with his mouth. "Mmm, now I'm tired. I'm going back to bed, wake me up when it's later."

Watching as the smaller slowly made his way back up the stairs, the yami shook his head slowly. Ryou might be making him go soft, but at least he was affecting the other as well.

((((((LINE))))))

Ten years later

Bakura rolled his neck out as he stepped inside, groaning lightly at the kinks it worked out. Working for a security company was anything but glorious, but at least he was able to use his skills as a thief and get paid for it. He slipped off his shoes, putting them by the door before wincing as the cry of his six-year-old daughter carried out through the house.

"Daddy! Baraka won't give me back my tiara!"

Ryou's calm voice followed soon after, obviously trying to placate the girl before she broke out in a tantrum. "Amisi, there's no reason to yell. Baraka, I want you to give your sister back her-No, don't throw it!"

A growing wail came from inside as a sparkling tiara landed just outside the entrance to the kitchen. Bakura raised an eyebrow, bending over to pick it up before walking into the room to see how bad it had gotten.

Amisi was sitting on the floor, chocolate brown eyes squeezed shut and fists down at her side. Her straight white hair was sent flying back and forth as she shook her small head, mouth open in a crying scream. Ryou was hovering over her, hands stretched out as he tried to calm her.

Lifting his hand to twirl the tiara around his finger, Bakura cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone in the room.

"Father!" The cry came from his four-year-old son, Baraka, who looked like the yami as Amisi looked like Ryou. Wildly-spiked, silver hair and dark brown eyes appeared from underneath the table, where the boy had obviously been hiding.

"Papa!" Amisi forgot about her fit and ran to wrap her arms around the man's leg, Baraka following soon after.

Bakura smirked at his hikari, reaching down to place the tiara on his daughter's head. "I think they like me."

"Please. They adore you." Rolling his eyes, Ryou tucked a strand of hair behind his ear before turning to straighten a chair that was knocked over.

He smiled as he pushed the chair back into the table, remembering how they had gotten so lucky. Isis had mentioned a spell to summon the goddess of fertility, after Yugi had brought up that he and Yami were considering adoption. Of course, there was no way of knowing if it would actually work, but they had tried anyway.

Imagine their surprise when soon after the spell finished, Bast and Taweret had appeared, arguing over who was the real goddess of fertility. After a moment of panic where the hikaris had tried to calm the two down, the goddesses had told them that their wish would be granted. They each would be able to give birth to two children.

His smile widened as he thought back to their friends reactions to the news. Tristan and Duke had returned to Japan, successful in spreading Dungeon Dice Monsters across the globe, but unaware that the yamis had even returned in the first place. And not only that, but were also in serious relationships with their friends, with plans of having kids. And Joey was noticeably jealous, maybe not of the pregnancy part, but it was obvious he wanted kids of his own. So it was no surprise when he and Kaiba ended up adopting two little girls, Kisara and Bennu. Tristan and Duke had both pulled faces when they learned about the gifted fertility, stating how they couldn't understand the desire for kids, which was funny considering they had both adopted a small boy, Connor, just a few years ago.

Unfortunately, he remembered as the smile fell off his face, his father had died shortly after Amisi had been born, having never been able to meet the child. It was something he would always have to deal with, knowing that his children would grow up without grandparents, without an aunt. He still visited the graveyard, of course, but it would be a while until the kids understood what those three little slabs of stone actually meant.

Ryou shook his head abruptly, snapping out of his memories. Turning towards his family, the hikari grinned as he watched them interact.

"Can I go see Kontar?" Baraka looked up at his father with a sparkle in his eyes and a pink blush on his cheeks.

Bakura rolled his eyes, scoffing lightly. "Why would you want to go see one of the Pharaoh's children?"

"I don't know…" Shuffling his feet lightly, the boy looked down at the ground as his blush deepened. "…He's nice…"

Amisi burst out laughing and the young boy squeaked and ran towards Ryou, who picked him up and held him at his hip. The little girl smirked, her teeth flashing as she grinned at her little brother. "You like one of the Pharaoh's kids? That's ridiculous!"

"Great." Ryou groaned as Bakura started to cackle, shifting Baraka on his hip. "Now you've got her talking like you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" The yami raised an eyebrow, a hand falling to rest on Amisi's head.

"You know perfectly well what that means, Bakura." Huffing as he set down Baraka, Ryou gave the boy a gentle push into the living room. "Now go play and I'll see if I can get a playdate with Uncle Yugi and Yami." He called after the two as Amisi started to follow her little brother. "And play nice!"

Bakura moved forward, wrapping his arms around Ryou's waist and leaning forward to nip on his bottom lip. "And now that we're alone…"

"Oh, no, mister. I still have to do the laundry and make dinner. There's going to be no-"

The hikari was cut off as lips covered his own, and he melted into Bakura. His eyes slowly closed with a light moan as a tongue slipped its way inside. Wrapping his arms around the other's neck, Ryou pulled the man he loved closer, savoring the moment though he knew he should be doing a whole list of other things.

Well, what fun would life be if you always did what you should?

Review!

Oh! And these are the kids' names' meanings. I decided for all of them to have Egyptian meanings because…well because!

Baraka = Blessing/Gift (Bakura's and Ryou's son)

Amisi = Flower (And their daughter)

Bennu = Eagle (This is Seto's and Joey's daughter, there won't be much mention of her or her sister, Kisara)

Kontar = Only son (You'll learn more about him later)
