When they got to Alex house, they all got out of the jeep and walked toward the house. Before all of them could get in the house Allison's phone started to ring. Allison notice that it was Jackson and decided that it would be better to take the call after everyone else was inside the house.
"You guy go in, I will go in after I'm done with this call" said Allison while pointing at her phone
Alex, Stiles and Scott when inside the house, Scott went directly to the kitchen and Stiles decide to follow him since he didn't wanted Scott to get in trouble. Alex for her part decided to look for Derek, she really needed to make sure that he knew that Allison was going to be staying with them.
"Derek" Alex called for Derek but he did not answer, so she decide to look for him outside after all that was where she had left him that morning. When she got to her back patio she found him in the same position that she had left him "Dude didn't you hear me calling for you I need to talk to you"
"Alex what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in class right now?" ask Derek confuse as to what Alex was ding at the house so early
"Well, Scott decide to become Fabio at school and the guys and I thought it would be better to bring him here" said Alex moving closer to Derek
"Wait what do you mean that he became Fabio at school?" ask Derek intrigue
"Well he was able to get Allison into one of the janitor's closet, he came on to me and flirted with Lydia. I mean seriously who does that" said Alex trying to make it sound funny
"What do you mean he came on to you?" ask Derek not liking that part since it didn't looked like Alex mind it.
"Dude really, that was all you heard, you and Allison can talked about your issues later. I needed to let you know that there was a small change in the plans Allison wants to help" said Alex smiling nervously
"And I image it has nothing to do with the fact that her boyfriend came on to you today" said Derek, not understanding what Alex meant with his and Allison's issues but let it go, Alex would probably bring it up later.
"You know I didn't think of that, maybe.." but before Alex could say anything else they heard Stiles yell.
Alex and Derek looked at each other and ran inside the house. When they go to the living room they saw poor Stiles on the floor close to the couch Allison with his back against the wall and Scott right in front of her with his hand holding her to the wall. Derek was the first to react, he grabbed Scott by his arm and pulled him back. Alex first checked Stiles and made sure he was fine before moving to checked Allison they were both just scared.
"What the hell was that?" ask Alex to Stiles and Allison since she notice that Derek had taken Scott out of the room.
"Well I'm actually not sure" said Stiles, he did not understand why Scott looked so mad and when Allison came inside the house he just attacked her.
"I think that he heard my phone conversation with Jackson" said Allison scared she was not expecting Scott to attack her that way.
"Seriously Allison I told you not to talk to him that meant no communication with him, are you stupid," said Alex mad that Allison simply did not ignored the call.
"Well I was not expecting Scott to be able to hear the conversation I mean he was inside the house... and well I needed to do something, he said that he was coming to my house; I thought that it was better to…" Allison was not sure if she should finish what she was going to say
"Better than?" ask Stiles confuse as to what was going on, but he wanted to know why he was thrown to the floor at the same time Alex as "what are you talking about?
"To meet with Jackson, he suspects something and since he think that me and Scott are still fighting, well he think that I may be interested in what he has to say" said Allison looking around, now she understood why Scott had told her to never make Alex mad.
"Well that make sense sorry I call you stupid is just you saw how he reacted right, well that was tame, if it had been Jackson, let just say that my living room would have looked like a scene from a Freddy Krueger Movie" said Alex apologizing for being mean to Allison
"I get it but I really did not think that it would be a good idea to let him talked to my dad, I really don't understand Jackson, it like he is desperate for attention" said Allison confuse, the last part was more to herself that to the rest of the room.
"Good thinking" said Derek to Allison when he heard that she was trying to get Jackson to meet with her instead of her dad, while he walked in with a calm Scott into the living room.
Alex, Stiles and Allison jump when they heard Derek talked they were so into their own conversation that they had not notice that Derek and Scott where back
"Sorry" was all that Scott said before sitting down in a corner of the living room.
"So what are we going to do with this situation that we are all in?" ask Alex feeling sorry for Scott, it wasn't like he wanted to hurt anyone.
"Well we need to try to keep Scott calm which means no more talking about Jackson" said Derek to Allison and looking around the room.
"Wait you said that you would meet him, when exactly are you meeting him?" ask Alex to Allison, it was getting dark out and it would be dangerous for her to go out.
"Later today" said Allison looking nervous again
"Oh, well... that is not good... how are we supposed to keep Cujo over there calm when that happens?" ask Alex looking at everyone in the room, they need to figured out what the hell they were going to do with the situation.
"No idea, I can knock him unconscious," said Derek smiling he still was not over Scott coming on Alex
"You just want to knock him out," said Stiles before Alex could answer
"Yeah probably, it would be a good idea to knock him out" said Alex to Derek then she told Stiles, "it is the safest it thing to do unless you what Scott to be spending a lot of time with your dad, you know in county jail"
"Great, so what do I call Jackson back and tell him to meet another day?" ask Allison trying to follow what everyone was saying
"No, that would make Jackson more curious," said Alex trying to think of something that would help "at what time you are going to meet him"
"He told me to meet him at school like at 5" said Allison,
"It going to be getting dark at that time, you don't have a car how are you planning on getting there?" asked Alex looking at Allison.
"Well I was thinking on walking, the house is close to the school so I thought that it would be ok" said Allison to Alex.
"That is not a good idea dude, you know angry alpha that wants us all dead?" said Alex
"Yeah I forgot about that, so what can I do?" ask Allison, she totally forgot that she did not had her car with her.
"Well we can drive there, I can borrow Stiles Jeep or maybe Derek's camaro" said Alex to the group, to see which boy would give her the keys to their car.
"What do you mean by we?" ask Derek confuse he thought that only Allison was going.
"You really think I'm going to let her go alone, are you nuts or plain stupid" ask Alex to Derek. Leaving Allison go alone was bad idea. With their luck, Allison would end up at the alphas claws, and then they would end up having to talk to the hunter, Derek and Scott end up dead and Stiles and her end up in some sort of prison.
"Well it would be better if you guys use my car since Jackson knows Stiles Jeep," said Derek it made sense that Alex wanted to go with Allison, it was safer that way.
"Wait I'm still confuse, this means that we are letting Allison go and talk to Jackson, then what? What is she going to do?" ask Stiles, he understood why they needed Allison to talk to Jackson but it seem that they all forgot that he probably suspecting something if he wanted to talked to Allison.
"Well she can get what he know about Scott, I mean I hope that is why he want to talk to her" said Derek
They all stayed in the living room until it was time for Alex and Allison had to go the school and Allison had to talk to Jackson. When it got close to 5 Alex started to move around to gather the thing that they may need.
"Well lest start to move since it getting late and we need to make sure that we are there before Jackson so that he doesn't see me" said Alex
"Why?" ask Stiles not understanding why Jackson could not see Alex
"He thinks I'm involved with whatever is going on with Scott, you Dummy" said Alex like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Right I forgot about that, I still can get over the fact that Scott thought that Jackson was talking about actual juice" said Stiles smiling and making Alex laugh because of the situation.
"Seriously guys, you need to let that go" said Scott to both Stiles and Alex, speaking for the first time since he went all berserk on Stiles and Allison.
"We can talk about that when you guys get back from the School" said Derek to Alex, pointing toward the clock on the wall that said that it was close to 4:50 pm
"We need to leave if we want to get there before Jackson" said Alex, while she was talking she heard Scott growling at the mention of Jackson's name.
Alex and Allison walked toward the garage, they both got into the car and left with out looking back, since they both new that the guys were worried about the whole situation and if they keep talking they were never going to get to the school on time even if they were close. When Alex and Allison got to the school parking lot they were happy to see that Jackson was not there yet.
"You should wait for Jackson outside at one of the tables" said Alex since she knew that she was going to have to hide and if Jackson saw Allison getting out of the car he may get suspicions.
"You are right, you just make sure that he does not see you" said Allison getting out of the car and walking toward the front of the school.
Alex made sure that she was hidden, but that she still could see Allison, they were risking a lot especially with the alpha on the loose, even though she was sure that the alpha was not going to attack he was after something else. The alpha wanted Scott to kill them, that way Scott had to go to him. Alex was trying to think of things that she could do to help the guys with the alpha issue. There were not many clues as to who it could be, or what he could want, but she was thinking of going and talking to Deaton, he must know something since he lied about the deer. Alex thought that it would probably be a good idea to keep that last thought to herself since she was sure that Derek would have an aneurism is she told him.
Alex thought were interrupted when she saw Jacksons car, or what she assumed was Jackson's car since Allison got in. Alex could see Allison and Jackson talking, were at the moment they looked to be fighting more than talking, whatever they were talking about it was making Jackson mad, Alex assumed that it was not turning out like Jackson had hope. That was when Alex notice something moving toward the car, Alex was about to get out of the car when she realized that it was not the Alpha but Scott.
"What the hell?" asked Alex after she notice Scott, what the hell had happen she thought that Derek was suppose to keep Scott occupied. Before Scott could do any damage, Alex saw Derek tackling Scott to the ground behind the car. Alex saw Jackson and Allison getting out of the car and look around to see if they could find whatever was just on top of the car. Alex hope that Jackson had not seen anything. Allison said something to Jackson and walked away toward Alex, she got in looking pale.
"What?" ask Alex after seen Allison face.
"Nothing Jackson has no idea what is going on but, he has Scott glove from when he played last time and there are hole on the finger tip and he is not sure what to make of them." said Allison looking around.
"Then why are you so pale? Dude you look like you saw someone die or something" said Alex
"Something was on top of the car. What was it?" asked Allison looking more pale
"It was just Scott, don't worry Derek has him at this moment. We better get home to see what the hell happen and how did Scott got lose" said Alex getting out of the parking lot and driving to her house.
When they got to the house, Alex and Allison got out of the car before they could even get in the house they were welcome by a hysteric Stiles
"He just attacked and ran away, it was like he was a freaking wild animal" said Stiles no explaining who he was talking about, and pulling them toward the living room.
"I'm going to assumed that you are talking about Scott and not Derek" said Alex looking at Stiles, when Alex notice that Stiles was not calming down she hit him upside the head.
"What was that for?" ask Stiles holding his head while he sat down on the couch
"You were freaking out Stiles" said Allison said laughing.
"And she had to hit me" asked Stiles like a five year old.
"Anyway what happen, do you know what made Scott attack?" asked Alex looking around the living room and seen that there were something out of place in the living room, like the tables were upside down.
"I don't know one minute he was fine the next he looked at Derek like he was going to kill him and he just attacked Derek and the ran out of the door" said Stiles looking around the house since they all heard a noise coming from the kitchen.
"What was that?" asked Allison looking toward the kitchen area
"Probably the boys, I told you that Derek got Scott after he sort of attacked you and Jackson. It would had taken them longer to get here without the car" said Alex hoping that she was right.
"Yes is us" said Derek walking in with an unconscious Scott on his shoulder
"What happen?" asked a worried Allison when she saw that Scott was unconscious
"Well he was really mad we he saw you and Jackson in the car, and the only way to get him to calm down was to hurt him, and well it took more than I expected to calm him down" said Derek putting Scott on the couch after Stiles got off it.
"Are you Ok?" asked Alex to Derek since she saw that there were claw mark on his shirt and pants
"Yeah I'm fine, I healed while I was walking, but I need to change" said Derek walking toward Alex's room. Alex looked at Stiles and Allison they were both looking after Scott, so she decide to follow Derek to her room.
When Alex walked into her room, by the time she got there Derek had already change his pants but had not put a shirt on, and Alex was able to see the claw mark on his back
"I thought you said that you were heal Derek" said Alex moving closer to Derek and ran her hand on Derek's back
"I'm fine Alex, attacks by other werewolf's take longer to heal, but I will heal" said Derek moving away from Alex touch like she had burn him. "This is nothing in comparison with what happen with the alpha"
"Ok that it, what is going on with you today? You have been acting weird around me since this morning and don't say is nothing. I know you Derek and something is going on" said Alex frustrated she wanted to help him out.
"It... It ... It you ok" said Derek moving further away from Alex
"What is me" asked Alex she was confuse
"I'm not dealing well with the full moon and you are not helping the situation" said Derek walking toward the door, he did not wanted to explain to Alex what was really going on with him
"What? I haven't done anything? Do you want me to leave?" asked Alex not understanding what was happening. For what she remember Derek had been pretty good at controlling himself on the night of the full moon.
"No, I don't want you to leave is just that, I don't know Alex but I just..." said Derek not knowing how to explain without giving away how he was feeling, he was not ready to discuss his real feeling right now.
"Just what Derek?" asked Alex getting frustrated with Derek
"Nothing, is nothing." said Derek walking away, he really did not wanted to explain, hell he was having a hard time processing what was happening himself. Realizing that he liked Alex as more than just friends was a lot for him to take in.
"Derek come back here" said Alex, she wanted to talk about what was happening, she needed to understand but Derek just keep walking away from her
Before anything else could be said, they heard a crash from down stairs. Derek ran down the stairs, and by the time that Alex got down stairs Scott had been knock out again
"What happen?" asked Alex once she was close to the other
"Well Scott went all Cujo on Allison" said Stiles from the other side of the living room,
"She smells like Jackson" said Derek before Alex could ask what had trigger Scott to attack
"Well then, Allison come on you are taking a shower" said Alex grabbing Allison and pulling her toward her room.
"It this really necessary?" asked Allison, not wanting to have to shower at this time.
"Do you want Scott to attack, every time he wakes up?" asked Alex, she was in no mood to deal with Allison not wanting to shower, it was not a big deal.
"No, sorry" said Allison when she heard the tone that Alex was using.
"Just shower I will get you some of clothes that I think would fit you" said Alex after she pointed to shower closes to her room. Allison was a couple of inches taller that Alex but, Alex love baggy clothes so she knew she could find something that would fit Allison.
Alex went to her room and started to look for what she needed when she saw a shadow at her window, which was weird since her room was on the second floor. But like always before she could do anything the shadow was gone.
"Derek" Alex called for him, while looking at the window, she went to get closer to the window open to look but before she could get to close Derek grab her arm and pulled her toward him. "What, I thought I saw something I just want to check it out"
"It the alpha, I can smell him" said Derek looking out of the window, he close the window and added "And he already left"
"Why would the alpha be here?" asked Alex looking confused. "I mean why did he not attack me it would have been easy"
"I don't know, but he was looking at you Alex" said Derek looking at Alex
"Why would he be looking at me? I mean shouldn't he be looking for Allison, Stiles or Scott?" asked Alex confuse as to what the alpha could want with her, since she thought that the alpha wanted Scott to get rid of her.
"I don't know but I don't like it that he was here" said Derek his eye turning blue and Alex notice that his claws were out.
"Hey Derek, I'm fine ok" said Alex after noticing that Derek was wolfing out, she knew that he worried about her. "Look, let me grab some clothes for Allison and we can talk ok"
Derek did not talk but said yes with his head to let her know that it was ok. Alex went to her drawer grab something that she thought would fit Allison took it to her and went back to Derek
"Derek..." but before Alex could finish her sentence Derek grab her by her arm and pull her toward him and hug her and smelling her to call himself down "What wrong Derek?"
"I can't lose you Alex, you are all I have left and the alpha was watching you, he is showing interest in you, that is not good. He know that you are not only part of Scott pack but you are important to me" said Derek not pulling away from Alex
" He should had know that from the beginning? I mean I have been hanging out with you a lot Derek, I must smell like you?" said Alex confuses as to why wouldn't the alpha know of her relationship with Derek
"You usually smell like everyone at school the other time that the alpha had attack and usually Scott was always around" said Derek pulling away, Derek grabbed Alex's head with both of his hand. "But this room smells like you and me"
"Oh, you were not expecting the alpha to come here were you?" asked Alex
"No, to be honest I was not expecting him to come here" said Derek
"It fine Derek, I was already on his list anyway" said Alex
"Yeah, but now he knows that he can get two bird with one stone Alex" said Derek getting worked up again.
"Hey calm down Derek" said Alex pulling him toward her and hugging him.
Derek put his head on Alex shoulder and pulled her closer to him, he knew that they all needed to talk about alpha. Derek grabbed Alex hand and walked down stairs were Allison was with the other two boys. Scott was awake but staying away from everyone. Allison and Stiles were sitting on the couch.
"The alpha was here" said Derek when he walk into the living room
"What do you mean by here?" asked Stiles confused as to what Derek meant
"He was at my window, he didn't do anything, but he was here" said Alex looking at where Stiles and Allison were standing.
"What?" asked Stiles, while Scott and Allison asked "Why?"
"Don't know, but I don't like that the alpha is showing too much interest in Alex" said Derek walking around the living room, his eyes changing from green to blue.
"Hey nothing is going to happen to me, I have a grumpy werewolf watching my back" said Alex standing in front of Derek to stop him walking. Alex grabbed his hand and pull him to sit down on the couch. "We all need to sit down and talk about what the alpha want so we can all protect ourselves"
"What does the alpha wants then?" asked Allison.
"Simply put he wants Scott, but because Scott has us, well you guys, the alpha can't seem to get control over Scott" said Derek
"Why would he want Scott" asked Allison
"Because the more people he get into his pack the stronger he will be, and the less likely is for other pack to try to get into his territory," said Derek
"If he wants his pack to grow bigger why has he not bit anyone else?" asked Allison
"Well If I have to guess I will say because he has not been able to control Scott, I think he is realizing that is harder to control bitten werewolves what would had been..." Alex started to explain but then a thought came to her "wait does that mean that this werewolf probably was born werewolf and has no experience been an alpha or with bitten werewolf's?"
"That makes sense, but that does not point us as to who could it be Alex, I mean there are a couple of packs around the US" said Derek
"Yeah but, I mean it has to be someone that would want this territory? This would be so much easier if we knew why the he is killing" said Alex
"Is not that easy, since technically he would have to kill everyone in the pack and that includes me and he had a change to do that but he did not killed me" said Derek
"Well I can check my dad notes and see where he is at the investigation about the killing, that may give us an idea" said Stiles
"I can try to get my dad or even my aunt to talk to me about hunting, I mean that may give me more lead way to investigate what is going on" said Allison
"You need to be careful with your aunt Allison, she is on the psycho side of the spectrum," warned Alex looking at Allison.
"Is anyone ever going to tell me what is that my aunt did that is so horrible and why I have to be careful with her" said Allison
"She... Well...Derek can we just tell them what Ms. Cold Hearted Bitch did? Everything would be easier that keeping the secret. Please" asked Alex looking at Derek with her best puppy dog eyes.
"Seriously, she needs to stop using does eyes" whisper Stiles to Allison who was staring at both Derek and Alex to see what would happen
"Why?" asked Allison whispering, she really wanted to know what her aunt did that was so bad that Alex seemed to dislike her so much.
"Seriously, are you seen them, she can get away with murder if she use does eyes" whisper back Stiles looking between Allison and Alex.
"Alex... I don't think that is a good idea" said Derek not looking directly at her, he knew that he would cave if he looked at her.
"Oh, come on Derek you know that it would help Scott and Stiles understand why you were so against the relationship between Allison and Scott at the begging" said Alex still using her puppy eyes
"Seriously Alex, not now... Maybe later... All I will say is that Kate is the reason that my family is dead. Hunter are suppose to only kill werewolf that are out of control and killing humans, but your aunt kill almost all of my family Allison just because some of them were werewolves. Some of the people that died on the fire were regular humans and Kate did not cared" said Derek, he stood up and walked away from all of them his eyes had been changing colors while he had been talking.
"I will be right back" said Alex following Derek out of the room. While Stiles and Allison digest all of the information, that Derek had just given them.
"Hey, sorry if I push you too much" said Alex when she got to the kitchen were Derek was sitting down on one of the chairs
"It ok, I know that she needed to know but it no easy Alex, if it had not been for me my family would be alive right now" said Derek looking at Alex with his sad eyes, he looked so guilty it was breaking Alex's heart.
"Derek, honey it was not your fault that Kate is a psychopath with homicidal tendencies, you where a kid Derek, she used you to get what she wanted" said Alex going toward Derek and hugged him trying to make Derek feel better.
Derek just hugged her back, and put his head on Alex chest, they stayed like that for a couple of minutes they both knew that they needed to keep an eye on all of the teenager that were in the house. Derek let go of Alex and stood up grabbed Alex head with both of his hand and made sure that Alex was looking at him
"Thank you" said Derek and walked away from Alex before he did more than just thank her for being there for him.
Alex and Derek both walked toward the living room where the other were waiting for them. The rest of the night was less exiting that the beginning of the night. Scott had calm down after he woke up, Stiles and Allison looked to be in deep thought. They all stayed together at the living room none of them talking; they were all thinking trying to pass the night.
