Ok so I did get three more reviews, so Mr. Mayor is at the end. et again it is a small section, but they will have a bigger part next time, if I get a certain amount of reviews. SO thanks to 5851, ErinKenobi2893 (Guest), and swemanD47- yes the 'witchhunt' shall commence sometime soon...
Obi-Wan POV
What could be bothering him this much? I thought to myself as I guided him off to the side.
"Alright, what is it?" I ask him. His eyes shoot down to the floor before he answered.
"Do I have to?" He mumbled, glancing up into my face. I crossed my arms over my chest and gave him a look. He sighed. "Fine, I guess... I just..."
"Its ok, you can tell me," I tell him, placing my hand on his shoulder and giving him a small smile.
"I think that I mightlikeAhsoka," he blurted out. My eyes narrow.
"Can you repeat that?" He let out another sigh.
"I think that I, might like Ahsoka," i closed my eyes for a second before looking him in the eyes.
"Listen, Ahsoka is a Jedi. She can't have feeling or others, I'm sorry Zero, but you two can only be friends," I told him gently.
"I...understand," he closed his eyes before opening them and we came back to them.
Reezy POV
"He...likes...you," I watched as her face kind of...went really slack.
"What?" She whispered.
"You...like...him," I croaked and her body stiffened up.
"I do not!" She objected. I looked at her and she sighed. "Alright, I do like him. And he likes me too?"
I nodded. "Don't...tell him," she nodded as Obi-Wan entered with Zero. Zero looked a little...put down? Upset? Sad? Told off?
"Was she just talking?" Zero asked, pointing his finger at me.
"Yes," I croaked, earning a hiss from him.
"Isn't she not suposed to talk?"
"Yes," I answered again.
"Shouldn't you shut up now?"
I stopped and pretended to think. "No, talking...is getting...easier."
"No talking," he said, pointing a finger at me.
"No," I said with a slight smirk.
"Reezy!" He shouted at me.
"What?" I croaked.
"Stop it!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"No."
"Yes!" I sighed and closed my eyes. I could basically here him let out a breath of relief before he cried out. "Reezy!"
I chuckled and opened my eyes. "He always...falls for...that," Ahsoka laughed a little.
"Ummmm... I think we have a little problem," Zero called from outside. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan glanced at each other before getting up and looking outside.
"This is not a little problem," Obi-Wan stated, I heard lightsabers ignite. A cry outside was heard. My eyes widened in shock.
Asyyyriaks? I thought. No, we can't be in their territory. I pushed myself up onto my elbows. I've gone into their territory before, they do not like invaders. I forced myself to put my feet to the ground. I used the side of the ship to help myself stand up. I slowly moved one foot in front of the other. Taking a while to get to the door.
I looked out to find my three friends out fighting against many asyyyriaks, they were badly outnumbered.
"Hey, stop!" I called out, leaning against the side of the door. Zero paused and glanced at me.
"Get back inside!" He yelled, blocking one of the asyyyriaks talons, before jumping back as another charged.
I closed my eyes before opening them and shouting. "Enough!" Everyone, including the asyyyriaks stopped. "Listen to me!" I forced my voice to be loud, thats how you get the dang things to listen. "Asyyyriaks, we are sorry we have intruded on your land! It was not our fault! If we could we would leave, but we cannot until this ship is fixed! This ship cannot be fixed unless we have the time to work on it!"
Zero POV
"Ummmm... I think we have a little problem," I called back, seeing the crowd of asyyyriaks standing out there. I felt Ahsoka and Obi-Wan come up behind me.
"This is not a little problem," Obi-Wan stated as we activated our lightsabers. One of the asyyyriaks turned towards us and let out a shrill cry. All the others glanced up, and added their own cries in. I leapt forward and cut off one of the asyyyriaks heads. The others let out a snarl and leapt for me. I spun to the side as Obi-Wan and Ahsoka entered the fray. I chopped my lightsaber to the side and managed to chop off a leg. The asyyyriak let out another screech and lunged to me. I jumped up and landed on its back.
It jumped up with a screech and tried to buck me off. I let out a whoop as I held on with one hand and swung my lightsaber with my other hand. I managed to keep the other asyyyriaks at bay, any who came to close got their heads chopped off. The asyyyriak I was on suddenly stopped and another asyyyriak jumped on me and knocked me off. I rolled away and caught the next blow on my saber. I moved back.
"Hey, stop!" I heard Reezy's voice and glanced up.
"Get back inside!" I yelled at her, having to block another talon before jumping back as I was charged again.
"Enough!" Reezy's voice rang out and I stopped, not noticing that every other being in the clearing stopped. "Listen to me!" Her eyes, they were her usual green, but they seemed...brighter... "Asyyyriaks, we are sorry we have intruded on your land! It was not our fault! If we could we would leave, but we cannot until this ship is fixed! This ship cannot be fixed unless we have the time to work on it!" The asyyyriaks looked around at each other before one stepped towards Reezy.
It growled something out and Reezy nodded. The asyyyriak then turned and growled something to its companions and they all turned and walked away. They just left their dead friends behind. Before the last one left, he growled out one more thing then left, leaving the bloddy clearing.
"Thank you!" Reezy called after him with a small smile. I put away my lightsabers and went over to Reezy.
"What just happened?" I asked her. "Never mind, don't answer that," I said, putting my hands on her shoulders and dragging her back to her cot. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan entered.
"What happened out there?" Ahsoka asked.
"Nothing much...they are friendly...care for others...but very territorial," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"How did you know how to stop them?" Obi-Wan asked.
Reezy POV
"Oh, I've met them...before, they were...mean at first...then they were nice...I learned more about them...thanks to my friend."
"You've met with them before?" Zero asked.
"Ya," I smiled. "I think it was maybe...two years ago...I met the next in...line leader...his name is...Alarick," I paused. "His father was...Aldrich. Alarick told me...that he thought that...we were trying...to take their territory...when he saw me...he knew that we weren't."
"So you knew him?" Zero asked.
"Yes, he came out to me...he told me that his father...was killed today...he is now the leader... He asked if the townspeople...had kicked us out...and if I would be alright...I told him yes... Then before he left...he wished me...good health."
"Will they leave us alone now?" Ahsoka asked.
"They will...Alarick will make sure...he keeps his word," I said and closed my eyes. I heard the three of them move away as I fell asleep.
Mayor POV
I awoke before dawn and got ready to kill those cat swine today. I allowed myself a smile as I grabbed my gun and left my small home. I listened to my own feet crunching the ground.
Today is the day that they shall die. They will die just like their parents before them. I chuckled as I reached our meeting spot. A few early risers were already there with their guns ready. They glanced up at me and let out a few smiles. Some looked nervous.
"Today is the day we will get rid of those monsters! Once everyone arrives, we shall leave," I informed them. A few cheered while others shivered. "I am sure that your families shall thank you after you helped to get rid of them!" Some more cheered. "If you wish to leave, I shall not stop you, but we could use your help against them."
One man grumbled under his breath as more men joined in the cheering.
"What was that Tim?" I called him out as his gaze rised.
"I dont agree with what your doing, Duke. My wife told me how Obi-Won brought our child back to her. He told a her a peculiar thing, that one of those so called 'freaks' gave him our kid," Tim told me.
"First off, my name is Mayor Sasuki," I told him, I hated my name and had changed it the first chance I had, "and second, that must have been a lie, why would they have taken your child only to give it back?"
"That is what I would like to know," Tim told me before walking off, leaving me steaming. I turned back to the others as they gazed around at each other.
"Dont worry about Tim, he wouldn't have been much help anyway," I told the others, playing it off. "Now, who's ready to go hunt some freaks."
"Ya!"
"Lets get them!"
"Lets go!"
"Come on!" They all started shouting as I lead them toward the trees.
Beware freaks, we're coming for you. You will not be able to hide from us forever. I grinned as we entered the forest and went to go find our prey...
