When I woke up Stephanie had her head on my shoulder and the plane was landing back home. A dream? That was an all to realistic dream. I kept replaying the last words Steph spoke in my head. "Babe. I can't lose anyone else." I caresseed the back of her hand that rested on my forearm. I couldn't let that happen.

As I began to crumble for what seemed like the first time since I took the call back in Greece, Steph began to stir. I straightened up.

"Steph. Sweetie we're here. We made it back home," I said.

Steph stretched and looked out the window. "Home."

We quickly got our luggage and found our car.

"Why don't I drive," she suggested.

I smiled at her even though I wanted to collapse and cry.

"I can drive honey. You just woke up."

"True, but babe can I be honest with you?"

I nodded as I threw our luggage in the back seat. Boy we needed a new car ASAP. Our luggage took up the three seats in the back.

"You look miserable. I know this has to be hard on you too. Kimmy's your sister."

I got in the passenger seat while Steph started up the car.

"I'm going to call to see if I can get an update."'

Steph's POV

I'd never seen Jimmy so vulnerable. It broke my heart. As much as I hated the thought of anything being wrong with the babies, I hated seeing my husband try to stay strong when I knew he needed to crumble.

He called Deej to see if we could get and update. "Babe. Put it on speaker."

DJ picked up on the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Deej it's me and Steph. We just got home."

"Oh good. How was your flight?"

"It was fine Deej. But we came home for the girls and Kimmy. What's going on?" I said.

"Well, um it's better I tell you in person. Are you anywhere near the hospital?"

"Yeah. Babe take the next exit," Jimmy said. "We'll be there in 10 minutes."

DJ greeted us with hugs then filled us in on what's been happening as we walked to Kimmy's room.

"So how long has Kimmy had these contractions?" I asked holding tight to Jimmy. "For like 3 days. That's why they had to admit her to the hospital."

"But she's going to be ok right? Our babies are going to be ok?" Jimmy asked. His voice shook.

Just then the doctor came out of the room.

"How are they doing?" Jimmy asked rushing over.

"Right now, everything looks ok. We still want to monitor them. We are doing our best to prevent inducing her."

I clung to DJ when he mentioned inducing Kimmy and could see the blood leave Jimmy's face.

"You can go see her. Visiting hours just started," the doctor said gesturing to the door.

The hospital room was small and only had one chair and I insisted Jimmy sit down.

Kimmy had an IV in her hand and was hooked up to a machines that dropped clear fluids.

I sat on Jimmy's lap sliding a hand up and down his leg.

Once we knew that for now everything would be ok, Kimmy made us go home. "I feel horrible for cutting your honeymoon short," Kimmy said.

"Kimmy you mean to much to both of us and you gave up time to carry my daughters. We'll make up for the honeymoon one day," Jimmy said.

He wrapped an arm around me, we said goodbye to Kimmy, who had to stay one more night in the hospital, and headed home.

Jimmy's POV

I got in the shower as soon as we got back to the basement. The steam from the shower was relaxing, so much that I didn't hear the door open.

"Jimmy we really need to think of names for our children," Stephanie said.

"I've got some ideas," I said as my phone rang in the bedroom. "Could you see who that is sweetie? I just need to rinse off."

"Ok but I was hoping to stay," she said which made me ache with anticipation.

"Why we don't we save that for when our niece, nephews and sisters can't walk in."

"Oh you're right," she said walking away to answer the missed call.

I quickly rinsed off and changed into some clothes.

Steph was in the baby corner writing something down, so snuck up behind her and snaked my arms around her waist.

"I love you baby," I said kissing her cheek. "Who called?"

"Some real estate woman and I just got off the phone with Deej."

Oh no. I meant for that to be a complete surprise.

"What did they want?"

"DJ needs us to pick up Tommy from Gymboree and I would love for my husband to explain why a real estate woman is calling him," Steph said turning to glare at me.

I grabbed my tablet from my backpack and took her hand leading her to the bed. I guess it was time to open up about a lot.
