Epilogue

Forever and Always

5 years later...

June 14, a date that none of the nations had forgotten. It had been fives years since Lovino had been taken away from them. Five years since Feliciano had become the only Italian to be the representative of Italy. Five years since Antonio hasn't been able to be cheerful as he used to be.

But they couldn't stop living their lives, especially since Lovino had wrote to them not too. The day that Lovino was taken from them, he had written letters to them, expressing his emotion to everyone, even though he barely knew all of them, he wrote to them anyways. He explain, how the sudden fear of not wanting to die made him realized that life, even though they didn't know when the next nation would be next to leave, was more precious then anything there is. Memories that had been created with each other, good or bad, was embed in the hearts, with all the feeling they had shared.

It cause many of the nations to rethink all of their actions.

The past years on that date, Feliciano would be wondering around the southern parts of Italy, keeping to himself, trying to relive the moments he had lived through with his brother - the good and the bad.

But by the end of the day, Ludwig would find him crying to himself in his brother's old house, with the video of their birthday party playing. Leaving the German to feel helpless as he watched the Italian be broken-heart at the loss of his brother.

Prussia on the other hand would drink himself till he forgot, trying to forget the date. Trying to forget that Lovino was no longer their to tease, to annoy, to talk to about their siblings. It was a day where Gilbert felt annoyed that he was still alive but Lovino wasn't. He felt that the world itself was unfair with him and the Italian.

But many worried about the Spaniard, knowing he was there when Lovino had disappeared.

How France and Prussia found him under the tree, looking at a small box with tears in his eyes that night. There was no words that they spoke. Everyone decided to end the meeting early once they had received their letters. Letting their own thoughts process that one of the Italians had disappeared from the world, and it was not a prank.

But the past five years, Antonio would smile and walk around Rome, following the same directions that Lovino had made him follow. Passing by the church and smiled at the kids, inviting them for ice cream. Walked past the alley ways and giving food to the orphans, past the flower shop and buy a dozen flowers before going to the park and laying them under the tree.

He would sit under the tree till the sun set, playing with his necklace that hanged a silver ring with cursive letters written inside of it. Singing to himself as he watched people walk around the park filled with life, making Lovino's letter resurface his mind.

Dear bastardo,

Even though you are an idiot, I know you can pull through this.

You are strong, I have seen you in your pirate days and I have seen you and been with you through the wars. You are not weak, so don't pout and stay upset just because I disappeared. I want you to protect my brother as well and that second potato bastard!

Even though he is not a country, he also needs to take care of himself, because what I had learn when I went into coma, nations that loose their lands, their people, their culture and still exist, become normal human beings. But with Prussia still being there on earth, then it may means something because he still somewhat a nation.

But anyways, I am talking about you at the moment, I wrote to that bastard and told him what I know. Antonio, I know you will pull through and I will be watching you from where ever I am, which would be heaven.

But before I left, I handed you a ring, that ring is to show you how strong, amazing and a big idiot you are. It shows you my love for you. Even though I may not be their with you, I will always love you, you stupid tomato bastard. I always wanted to be by your side, even though I hate to admit it in person, I wanted to be with you and would have been with you through the good and the bad. The ugly and beautiful moments.

I always cherished the memories that we had. So please keep it safe and I hope you figure what I engraved it.

Ti amo Antonio, I always have and always will.

Lovino

Antonio had memorized the letter and cried every time he read it, but Lovino was right. He had to be strong, not only for his himself, but for Feliciano and Gilbert.

As the sun slowly started to set, Antonio would smile and play with his ring and look at the roses he had bought before he looking to his side and smile.

"Te amo Lovi, forever and always." He whispered as he saw an outline of Lovino smiling at him as he nodded his head, soon disappearing when the sky turn dark.
