Lucy POV
"Is there any news?" I asked impatiently as I picked up a phone call from Maggie while sitting in Ian's car with him.
"You better get your ass back here Lucy." Maggie sounded so pissed.
"Why? What's happened?" My chest suddenly got tight like I couldn't breathe.
"Nothing has happened. But you should be in here."
"I'm outside. I'll come in once I've dealt with some things. Okay?"
"No it's not okay. What is more important than seeing your baby sister wake up from an over dose?" I fell silent not wanting to answer her.
"Just stuff Maggie. Ian and I will be in shortly. Bye."
"Don't you dare hang up on me! The stuff you are so calmly dealing with outside is what put Sasha in here in the first place. You are the reason she is not waking up." She yelled through the phone even Ian heard and turned his head in shock. How can I be getting the blame for this?
"Why are you blaming me for this? Just because I'm not inside with you all?"
"No, because she was an absolute wreck when I called her before she ended up in here because of you." Her words stung.
"But I haven't done anything! I went to see her and she shut me out. So I wasn't in the wrong!"
"No Lucy, you're never in the wrong are you?"
"What the hell is that meant to mean?" There was no way in the world she was pinning this on me.
"You're always the problem! You can never help yourself can you? You're such a little inconsiderate bitch. See once you are finished dealing with your irrelevant crap that you have blown out of proportion, get in here and support your sister like a normal person would do if they were in your situation!"
"Lay off Maggie. I'm coming in to speak to mom. You have no idea what is going on. Frankly, you don't want to know. This conversation, no sorry this one-sided argument is over, don't call me and if there is any news on Sasha get mom to call me." I hung the phone up and dropped it on my lap.
"Why are you getting the blame for this?" Ian asked while he put his hand on my knee and squeezing it.
"I don't know. But Maggie just gave me a mouthful of abuse and blamed me. She never gave me a reason." At that Troian opened my door and told us both to come out.
"Okay, so Marlene said we have all to be on set tomorrow night at eleven for hair and make-up. They are sending us the script change just now as Sasha won't be in it." Troian spoke as all seven of us stood between her car and Ian's. Ian was stood by me and Shay was on the other side. "Ian, Keegan and Tyler yours haven't changed, and all of our ones have changed, only the scenes with Sasha, but that's mostly all of them. There will be an extra few scenes added on to make up for the scenes with Sasha and any of us individually. Reporters have been calling Marlene and everybody non stop since the photos of us all being here were published online. Everybody on set sends love to us all and especially Sasha and your family Goose." Troian explained. "And Marlene also told us that twitter is going crazy because of these pictures and accusations aswell. If none of us reply then I'm sure it will all be dropped." We all nodded in agreement. "We are coming back as soon as we have slept." Ian and I told them they should all go home and get sleep because we are going to tell my mom what is going on and we never wanted them to be sleep deprived and listen the same news they were just told hours earlier.
"Okay, you all get home we'll text one of you if there is any news on Sasha. Thank you for being here. It means a lot." Ian smiled and I nodded in agreement. We all said our goodbyes and all five of them got in Troian's car and drove to Shay's house because it was the closest. We would all usually got back to our house because we have the most rooms but because we are staying here they decided to go to Shay's.
"Are you ready for this? You look green." Ian asked.
"I'll be fine. Can you tell my mom with me please?"
"Of course I will." He took my hand and kissed my head. We walked through the car park and managed to get as close as possible to the doors without the paparazzi noticing us. And when they did all sorts were being shouted. I bowed my head and covered it with my hand as Ian had my other one and led me inside. "Of all places, why do they choose to stand outside a hospital?" I shook my head not knowing the answer.
We made our way through the reception to the stairs and walked hand-in-hand to floor 3 where Sasha still was. I was dreading walking through these doors. Maybe because Maggie isn't in the best mood with me, or that I'll have to break my own heart again telling my mom about the baby. We walked to the little room where we were before and they were all sitting in there. Maggie caught my eye and looked away. My mom was sitting in the chair where she was before. "Mom, can we borrow you for five minutes please?"
"Of course," she got out her seat and walked towards us. Ian gave her a hug then I did the same. We led her to another small room where there was two chairs and at a table. Ian and I stood in front of the chairs and my mom stood opposite us.
"You should sit down for this," my mom gave us a funny look then sat down.
"What's going on?" She finally spoke up.
"Okay. We are just coming to terms with this so bare with us until we are finished." I said and she just stared at us both. "Ian and I are-" No I can't choke, this has to make sense or she will ask questions I nor Ian are prepared to answer. I looked at Ian who wrapped his arm around the back of me.
"We are pregnant." Ian said. The smile on her face was from ear-to-ear, but she soon noticed that neither Ian or I were smiling and her smile slowly faded.
"Why are you not happy? Don't you want a baby?" She asked.
"Yes. Of course we do. But there are some," What is the right word? Problems? Hiccups?
"Complications with the pregnancy," Ian had my back on this.
"Like what?" She asked.
"You're going to have one grandchild that you won't have the chance to meet." I spoke. I could feel the lump in the back of my throat getting bigger and bigger as we both watched my mom's expressions change.
Ian POV
"The chord which helps feed the baby and helps keep the baby healthy has been ripped and won't be able to take the baby's full weight. Meaning it will snap when the baby grows and we will lose it." I said as I looked at Julie and then to Lucy, Lucy was silently crying and Julie didn't know what to do with herself. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
I started to walk towards Julie and Lucy and I quickly embraced her in a hug. Lucy sat down next to her and I knelt in front of them both. The tears started to fall down Lucy's cheeks like there was no tomorrow. As if she hasn't cried enough today. Julie cooed Lucy occasionally and rubbed her hands up and down her daughter's back. "Honey, it'll be okay. I promise." Julie's words only made Lucy cry harder and harder.
Lucy was leaning on her shoulder still crying when Julie looked at me and spoke "I'm so sorry."
Fifteen minutes after telling Julie about the baby Lucy had calmed down and Julie had left the room to go and see the doctor about Sasha. Lucy was sitting on her phone texting Ashley who couldn't sleep because she had slept in the car and so had Lucy. Lucy and I stayed in the room separate from Maggie, Lewis and Hudson as the tension between Lucy and Maggie could be cut with a knife.
"Is everybody else sleeping?" I asked Lucy.
"Yeah. Ashley is sleeping in Shay's room with her and Troian and they are both asleep and all the boys are in the living room. They stayed up for a while after the girls went to bed, but Ash can't sleep." Lucy replied.
"Why is mom not telling me what's up with you?" Maggie had stormed in the room and stood in front of us. We both stood up and Lucy stood half behind me with her hand gripped onto the back of my zipper.
"Because she obviously doesn't want to talk about it and it isn't her thing to tell anybody." Lucy replied.
"Well you tell me what is going on!"
"Not with that attitude I won't. So when you've calmed down and look like you're not going to fight me then we'll tell you."
"I'm not angry, I'm just confused. Why don't you want to tell me?"
"I do. It's just I think I should tell you another day. I've been through enough today Maggie, believe me."
"You don't have to explain, just tell me what is going on." Maggie looked concerned about Lucy as she took a step forward and look at Lucy with sympathetic eyes.
"I'll explain it to you Maggie." I spoke up.
"Ian, you don't have to do this I-" Lucy added.
"You are too emotionally drained to tell anybody else today just let me explain this to her, outside."
"Outside?" Maggie questioned.
"Lucy has told this too many times today and I don't think she can go through it again."
"Okay?" Maggie walked outside and I followed her as Lucy sat back down and went back on her phone.
"It is obviously serious. I know about Lucy being in hospital ager my mom's dinner thing and I seen both of your face's when you came out that doctor's room today so it's obviously something serious, and not to mention Luce won't even tell me which is making me question why."
"It is serious Maggie, it's really bad." I was trying to find the courage to blurt out the reason Lucy won't tell her but I couldn't.
"So what is it? She said that I don't want to know." Before I could speak something sounded.
"CODE BLUE TO ROOM 213. CODE BLUE IN 213!" Boomed through the speakers and the first wave panic took over my body aswell as Maggie's as she ran a few steps up to the room where her mom, husband and sister's boyfriend were in shock and Lucy came running out of the room she was sitting in alone. She looked at me in shock and started to panic with her mouth opened slightly. She suddenly started to run. She ran by the room where her family was sat in and I ran after her. I followed her until she reached Room 213. She tried to make her way through the ten nurses and doctors in the room to see what was going on and when she did see what was going on her face dropped. Three nurses and I managed to remove Lucy from the room where she stood leaning against the windows which were covered by the blinds on the other side and the door was now shut. "Clear." Lucy's body slowly slid down the wall and suddenly hit the floor and I was quickly trying to pull her back up but she wasn't for it. She wasn't crying, she wasn't doing anything, she just looked blankly at me like I was transparent. How would you feel if you were in Lucy's place?
213 was Sasha's room.
