The Battle Begins!
Team Kuranai, Kakashi, Asuma, along with Shizune, Yamato and Sai (Sai came to the leaf during the time Krishna was missing) had just arrived at the coastal town after days of trying to find it. Tsunade had assembled a large team because of her fear that Krishna was up to something dangerous. They talked to the woman Krishna assisted and she told them how Krishna lost her temper and beat her tenant to a pulp. Only she could laugh as the rest of them sighed.
"You think he's still alive?" Naruto whispered to Sakura.
"Probably in a hospital by now." She responded. Anyway, the landlady told them that Krishna had left on a ferry to the Land of Whirlpools.
"The ferry won't be here until another two days. I have room available…oh! That girl, she left something behind. If you're going to meet her can you give it back?" Kakashi nodded and the lady wondered into a room behind the counter. She came back out with a black headband in her hand. They were surprised.
"I knew your headbands looked like hers. All of you must be from the Hidden Leaf."
"Why would Krishna abandon her headband?" Kiba asked the question that was on their minds. Two men walked into the lobby with grumpy grumbles.
"It's insane! The whole city is on lockdown no one can get in! What am I supposed to do about my cabbages?!" The team looked at each other with worried expressions.
"Sorry to intrude, but what city are you talking about?" Kakashi asked.
"What? You have business that way? Well if you do, it's impossible to get into Toko Merchant City. It's on lockdown. Either intruders or,…
Than man looked around and then whispered.
"Maybe the King's trying to hide something. I never trusted em' ever since they took over the Land of Tea, but business is business and we've all got families to feed."
The man was quite talkative, his friend hit his shoulder. Kakashi thanked him.
"We have to leave now, Krishna is doing something very dangerous…and I have no idea why, but we need to help her before she gets herself hurt." Naruto chimed in.
Kakashi and the other team members agreed besides Shizune and the rest of the Jonin.
"Didn't you hear the lady say the ferry wouldn't be here until another two days?" Kuranai reminded him and Asuma agreed. Suddenly Shizune got a bad feeling.
'I knew her background was strange. There was no way she came from out of nowhere. No way! Is she planning on concurring the Land of Whirlpools with the tailed beasts' power?! We have to stop her before she does!'
"He's right. We have to leave…" Shizune thought of a way and then snapped her fingers.
"Yammato you can make us a boat right?!"
Yammato nodded. Kakashi sighed in relief and they thanked the landlady before leaving the hostel.
Yammato crafted a small boat that could hold all of them. It was up to the rest of the team to create momentum to get the boat going. All the while Sasuke watched in silence. His mind was muddled with thoughts about his family and his brother…he had to find Itachi.
"Sasuke are you okay?" Sakura asked and he nodded.
"I'm fine."
Alana kissed her teeth as Edwards' sword scraped her cheek. She jumped backwards and held her own sword up in defense. She held her sword in the air and channeled her chakra into it.
"I've given you a chance to repent but it seems you are still a weak coward. I will end this now!"
Edward smirked. The battle was stagnant and he landed a few shots on her so he felt confident. However, the ground beneath them began to shake and her eyes lit up in a blinding light blue.
"I CALL UPON THE GODS OF THE SEVEN GREAT WINDS THAT GUIDE THE LAND OF TEA! I WILL DECREE PUNISHMENT ONTO THIS TRAITOR!"
Edward's eyes widened. He stood in place as she charged towards him. He blocked with his sword but her power bore down on him and she stared fiercely into his eyes.
"H-how are you this powerful?!"
His eyes widened as the blue light around her grew bigger. The winds she created were suffocating him. He started to regret his decision of underestimating her. His sword fell to the ground and hers impaled his heart. Blood dripped from his mouth in and he fell to the ground as she pulled out the sword.
"…H-how?"
"You are a weak coward. You cannot defeat me…but why did you betray the king? It was so peaceful."
He laughed and coughed up more blood.
"M-money..an-d s-tatus. Y-you, I al-ways…hat-ed you…kings bitch!"
She laughed in turn as he died. Then she rushed off to catch up with her team.
"Shit they really did find us huh?" Victor complained as a group of soldiers rushed toward them. They all focused and fought back at the soldiers. With his monstrous strength, he tanked through soldiers with his fists alone. Krishna cut through them with her katana and Kiana followed suit with her nunchakus and powerful kicks. After 30 minutes of fighting the enemies were all defeated. They all breathed hard and wiped the sweat from their foreheads.
"Fighting in this small space is a pain in the ass!" Once again it was Victor who pointed out what was on everyone's minds. Krishna looked at Hanna.
"We should be under the capital city. The palace is at the end of this city."
Just then Alana joined them and they smiled.
"Welcome back!"
Felix patted her shoulder.
"You guys looked burnt out!"
"I thought this was the secret entrance, how did they find out?!" Victor, once again.
"Edward, that selfish idiot, betrayed the kingdom."
Krishna stood up straight and stretched her arms.
"Break times over, let's get out of here."
They exited the tunnel and entered a dark dungeon. Krishna was immediately alarmed of a strong power similar to a tailed beasts.
'What is this? Its weird and not exactly like what I've experienced before.' She thought to herself as Hanna and Felix led the group.
"Do you sense any guards Krishna?" Felix asked and Krishna snapped back into reality and focused.
"I can sense hundreds, but they're outside. They must be gathering up to find us."
"So what's our plan from here?" Alana asked.
"I want you, along with Hiro to find the King and hold him hostage until you see the signal." Her eyes met with his for a split second before she hurriedly turned away.
"You are all prepared to fight with your life?"
They all nodded with a determined look.
"I have one request. Trust me and don't try to save me."
They looked at her strangely. She nodded and walked up the stairs to exit the large dungeon. They separated into their groups. Krishna's group headed to the front of the palace where she sensed guards, whilst Hiro and Alana searched large rooms for the king. The palace maids were surprised but after hearing their plans they supported them silently.
Krishna and her group arrived at the grand staircase that was in front of the giant entrance doors of the palace.
"Felix, Kiana and Hanna. I need you guys to stay behind me. Don't try to interfere with what I'm about to do okay?"
She took off her weapons pouch, her katana and the uniform of the Land of Whirpools. She pulled a blue dragonfly pin from her pocket and handed it to Kiana.
"Please keep it safe. It's very important to me."
They watched as Krishna descended the staircase with no armor or weapons. She pushed open the door and the people outside gasped.
Krishna stood confidently in front of them. She walked closer until a gruff man with heavy armor pointed his spear at her.
"Who are you?"
"I am Krishna Seychelles, princess of the Land of Tea!"
"I'm sorry to disappoint you princess, but this country belongs to the Land of Whirlpools. Execute her and end this nonsense."
A ninja who bore Leaf Village headband with a crossed out symbol ran towards her at great speed. Blue and purple chakra started to flow around Krishna.
My power is finally gonna be used for something useful!
Well, I'm not all that excited Isobu.
Before the ninja could touch her, her chakra took the form of a tail and grabbed him and flung him back towards the guards at an insane speed.
"Surrender now to the Land of Tea or you will die here!"
"Nonsense! Everyone attack at once!"
Felix, Victor and Kiana watched in awe as Krishna cut through the ninja and guards without even using her hands. Her appearance was different too. Her red hair looked fiercer and her eyes glowed purple and blue. Then, they began to feel anxious as the entire army surrounded her. Krishna smirked and performed hand-signs and crashed her hands onto the cobblestone. Her chakra started to spread and suffocate the thousands of people that surrounded her.
"Surrender now!"
Krishna stood and thousands of ninja fell to the ground, dead.
The army that was still standing began to fear for their lives. Truthfully, they only served in the Land of Whirlpools because it was easy money to make. Additionally, there was nothing much to do because the people were weak and had no power.
Soon the crashing of swords and kunai on the cold cobblestone floor could be heard, even all the way up to the top of the tower that the king gazed down from with a terrified expression on his face.
Krishna looked a frightened soldier in the eye. He got down both knees and bowed immediately. The king fumed as Hiro held a kunai to his throat.
"You were able to best us in the past because we were peaceful and had no power." Alana added as she stared down proudly at Krishna. Sweat dripped down the kings' face until he heard a voice from behind.
"Your majesty, the beast has been released, but Jimu wasn't able to control it!"
Hiro was taken aback as the king began to laugh.
"You won't have your victory today. We may be killed in this battle, but once she dies the Land of Whirlpools will send more troops to claim this land!"
*ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR!*
A loud screeching could be heard from underground. Then a small tremor, like the beginning of an earthquake, was felt and a flash of light blinded them. Hiro dropped his kunai and rushed towards Alana and shielded her with a barrier created with gold chains. An explosion ensued in Tian city and debris flew their way. The king was guarded by the ninja who came to inform him.
At the bottom of the palace Krishna dashed towards the palace door and shielded Kiana, Hanna, Felix and Victor. Many of the guards took cover but some were injured or crushed by the debris. The screech sounded again and the ground shook. Cries from the civilians in the city could be heard all around. Krishna stood up as the dust clouds from the debris cleared. A monster that resembled a tailed beast appeared from a hole in the center of the city.
"What the fuck?!" exclaimed Victor.
As always, Thank you for Reading and stay tuned for more!
