chapter 20: the slopes

after getting ready we left towards the ski resort, I've always wanted to go snow boarding and now that i had the change i was gonna take advantage of the opportunity .me and kaname hit the expert slops after getting the basics down i started getting into the complicated flips and turns. kamame just watched me while snowboarding, stopping to catch my breath i turned to kaname saying "k-kaname this is so fun, thanks you so much for choosing a ski resort" he kind of just smile and skidded towards me to stoke my cheek.
"it was my pleasure just to see your smiling face" he said with all joking aside his eyes showed how serious his statement was. blushing light, figuring that me trying to play his affections down would only cause a discrepancy "it goes both ways seeing you so... your eyes show your love, it makes me... i love that you love me" kaname lifts my chin up to his lips with his index finger, i felt like i was on a cloud and as quickly as i was in cloud nine he had me pinned to snow our tongues in a fight for dominance. abruptly he stopped our little fight for dominance and started kiss trails along my jawline, i felt as if...i felt just so in the moment i didn't care who and what saw us at the moment(even thought the chances are slim to none i mean we are the only people really her). missing the taste of his lips i pulled his mouth back to mine running my hands through his hair as his hand travels lower south of my body. our body intertwined being chilled by the cold snow i just don't know how to putt it into words but...it just blow my mind.

as yuki sleeps soundly in my jacket i carefully picked her up, not to wake her up and carry her back to our room and tuck her in. watching her sleep made me so happy but i couldn't dwell on that for long as my phone went off, so as quickly and quietly as i could i slid off the bed to answer my phone, it was ruka.
PHONE CALL:
kaname: hello?
ruka: kaname um... im sorry to disturb your honeymoon but...
kaname: ruka whats wrong?
ruka: its headmaster...he's not well...
kaname: what do you mean hes not well?
ruka: i cant say it over the phone, but you gotta come back and quickly
kaname: OK fine ill be their as quick as i can
end of phone call
i didn't exactly know what to make of that phone cal, but one thing for sure yuki's not gonna like it when i wake her up and tell her way we have to leave.
