Hello again my lovely audience, i would like to begin by just saying this... "I LOVE YOU ALL, DEARLY." sorry just had to get that out, any way it is official, we have passed 50,000 words and that deserves another "I LOVE YOU." Honestly i could not be in a better mood, from the amount of people who read this to the amount of work put in, thank-you all again and enjoy chapter 21.
It was quiet, all sound had been muffled by the intense hatred in the air, all that was heard for miles was the sound of dropping water as they moved through the damp cave.
Struggling was heard from around the corner from the group.
"Ah L-Let me go, D-Damn it R-Ruby let go of me." Virginia cried as she was dragged into view of the others by Ruby.
"Virginia... Always a pleasure." Yang quipped.
Yang only received a cold look from Virginia as Ruby brought her to her knees.
"You're all going to regret this, YOU HEAR ME!, YOU WILL REGRET THIS!" She screamed as she thrashed about trying to brake loose of Rubys grip, but to no avail.
"Oh shut up." Ruby said with pure hatred lining her voice.
"Oh what are you gonna do about it Ruby... Kill me?" She let out a laugh, a laugh which was quickly extinguished by Rubys response.
"Don't push your luck."
Virginias face dropped to a calm look for a moment as she inhaled deeply. "I guess you already know then?" She said, letting her mouth twist into a sickening grin.
Ruby let out a hate filled breathe, confirming Virginias guess. "So what are you going to do...?" She remarked, obviously planning something.
Ruby stood very still and silent.
"Hand me over to the police? Kill me? Torture? The possibilities are endless really, so what will you do?" She persisted.
Ruby was doing her best not to loose her temper, but she was beginning to slip, a twitch of the eye here and there.
Virginia then turned her gaze to Yang.
"What about you Yang... What will you do... You being the big sister and all, i would think you'd protect Ruby and not allow her to make such a decision." She continued, with a scheming tone.
"You always were the stronger one Yang... I would even go as far as to bet on you in a fight... Why, even if you tried to Kill Ruby." As she said those words she met Yangs eye.
'Kill Ruby... Kill Ruby... KILL RUBY... KILL RUBY.' Those words replayed in her head over and over, they almost started sounding... possible.
'No i couldn't kill Ruby, she's my sister I couldn't KILL RUBY... KILL RUBY.' The words began sounding like commands, commands to kill Ruby.
Virginia let out a small cackle, a cackle that eventually turned into a full stomached, maniacal laugh, one so terrifying, it could spite fear in a grown man.
"What's so funny?" Blake questioned.
Suddenly without warning, a gauntlet collided with Rubys right cheek, sending the girl half way across the cave.
Before anyone could comprehend what had just happened, Yang went on a wild frenzy, throwing punches at what ever she could, one caught Blake in the ribs, another dislocated Qrows left shoulder, and another thrown directly at Pyrrha, catching her on the right side of her chest, causing her to drop to her knees.
After everybody was still figuring out what was happening, Yang took the opportunity to go after Ruby again.
Ruby was in a daze, she couldn't work out who or what hit her, in simple words it felt like a bus had collided with her cheek.
As she finally re-gained her senses, she noticed a burning frenzy charging towards her at incredible speed, as she inspected further she realized it was Yang who had hit her, 'Why Yang, how could she do that?'
Her thoughts only continued for a moment as she realized the danger she was in, with out a second thought, Ruby pointed Crescent Rose at the ground and fired, the recoil sent her soaring through the air, and safely out of Yangs range, even if it was only for a few seconds, it was enough to formulate a plan.
"Guys, Yang's under Virginias control, we gotta snap her out of it, but we cant hurt her." Ruby yelled as the blonde beauty reached her.
Yang threw several punches, all which were surprisingly easy to dodge, Ruby ducked and weaved out of the way almost every time, with the occasional nick of the shoulder here and there, of course her semblance was a huge help in this matter, being able to move at an increased speed had its uses.
"Ruby, what do you suggest we do?" Blake called as she sprinted over to held her young lover.
"I'm thinking..." Ruby replied from the distance.
"It's not her you need to concern yourselves with." Virginia finally spoke up, letting everyone know that she was still a threat.
Qrow and Pyrrha took a fighting stance, making sure not to make eye contact with the woman inn front of them.
"No offense Virginia, but you don't look like much of a threat." Qrow quipped.
"Oh really..." Was all she said before she pulled a sword out from seemingly no where.
The sword she held, was a 27-Inch, black stainless steel combat ninja sword striker, a weapon that had been featured in weapons weekly magazine, the same magazine Ruby received every week, however this one seemed to have a few modifications added to it, for example the sword originally had a black grip, the blade was black and about half way up the blade, it began to turn jagged like a saw and the end would eventually finish with a curve up to the point, it was truly a work of art.
However Virginias sword seemed a little bigger, not by much but still enough to be noticeable, and the blade seemed to have brakes in it, it looked to be about eight brakes in total, and on the grip, just in reach of the index finger, was a trigger of sorts.
"Sorry Virginia but it looks like we have the upper hand." Qrow said smugly.
"How do you mean?" Virginia replied curiously.
"We obviously..." He started before unleashing his own sniper rifle scythe, and planting the blade into the ground to keep it steady, making sure the barrel lined up nicely with Virginias leg. "We have a ranged advantage." He smirked.
Realizing that Qrow was right, Pyrrha unsheathed her spear and spun it swiftly, allowing it to fold into its hunting rifle form, upon completing this action Pyrrha directed the barrel towards Virginias right arm.
Virginia however simply let out a harsh cackle before raising her sword in the air. "You think just because I'm over here and you're over there, i can't hit you?" She stopped for a moment to let out another cackle. "You are sadly mistaken."
Almost instantaneously after those words had left her mouth, she pulled the trigger on her swords grip, a metallic click echoed through the cave and in a fraction of a second, her sword disconnected into eight even segments, each being held together by some sort of flexible metal, origins unknown.
Virginia then began to rapidly swing the sword around and round, left to right, right to left, up and down, and every direction you could think.
Qrow and Pyrrha didn't want to take any chances, so they both began firing, but to no avail, every bullet was deflected by the mish mash of metal rotating around Virginia.
"Damn it... We hesitated, what do you suggest we do?" Pyrrha asked surprisingly hurried, as though sounding panicked.
"Well, if long range isn't gonna cut it..." Qrow stopped before lifting his scythe out of the ground. "We use close range."
Upon those words, he leaped into action, firing his... (Okay for the sake of not re-writing 'Sniper Rifle Scythe' I'm just gonna write 'SRS' since i don't know its actual name, anyway back to the story.) Firing his SRS behind him, and launching through the air at rapid speed, however upon collision with Virginias - Snake like. - Sword, the blade frolicked through the air, effectively knocking Qrow back several feet.
Pyrrha took note of this attempt and quickly determined. "Qrow, it's useless, her defense is near impenetrable." She called as she made her way over to Qrow.
"Alright then, what do YOU suggest?" He asked in response.
Pyrrha leaned in and whispered in his ear for a moment.
After a few minutes Qrow shoved her back slightly. "Are you crazy? You're gonna get yourself killed doing that." He looked like he was going to blow a fuse.
Pyrrha just gave him a boastful look before removing her spear and shield, then walking toward Virginia.
"Oh and what will you do? You said it yourself, my defense is impenetrable." Virginia remarked with a chuckle as Pyrrha drew closer.
Pyrrha didn't reply, instead she kept moving closer and faster, until she was within striking distance of her enemy.
Virginia whipped her sword/whip towards Pyrrha, who easily side stepped and moved closer, almost at running speed, another whip from Virginia, again dodged by Pyrrhas quick feet and agility, Virginia began to panic, and started going wild with her swings.
"You know, that's not actually what i said." Pyrrha said directly.
She swung the whip again, Pyrrha this time dodging by leaping into the air, however this was a poor choice, since she couldn't really control how fast she could move in mid air, Virginia took the opportunity and whipped at Pyrrha who tried to minimize the damage by placing her hand in front of herself, unfortunately she was knocked clean out of the air and sent a far distance away before finally colliding with the hard ground.
Virginia let out a loud laugh in triumph. "What were you babbling about?" She mockingly asked.
Pyrrha simply chuckled to herself. "I was saying that i didn't actually say your defense was impenetrable." She stopped to let it sink in for a moment.
The smile had now left Virginias face. "What are you talking about?" She said with a direct tone.
"I said your defense... Was NEAR impenetrable." She chuckled again.
Virginia then looked back at her sword, it had stopped moving in mid air, no matter how hard Virginia thrashed and pulled, her sword would not move, she then noticed that the sword was lined with a black glow.
She looked back at Pyrrha, who had her hand in the air with the same black glow lining her hand.
"Did i not tell you?" She paused for a moment to chuckle again. "My semblance... Is polarity." Again she chuckled.
Before Virginia could even comprehend what Pyrrha was talking about there was a loud BANG, As she looked around, she saw Qrow with his blade planted in the ground and his SRS' barrel smoking.
She looked down slowly, revealing s bloody hole in her right knee.
A moment passed, and the pain started to kick in, what came next was a blood curdling scream, emanating from Virginia as she clutched at her leg.
Pyrrha let her leg go limp, assuming the horrible scream meant her plan worked.
Qrow ran over to Virginia, tied her hands up and blind folded her before patching up her leg.
Qrow then looked up expecting to see Pyrrha, but she was gone, she had started running over to Ruby, Blake and her love Yang.
Back With The Other Three.
Yang was putting up a fierce fit... But then again it's Yang, so that was to be expected
Ruby was doing her best to fight, but this was Yang so she didn't want to hurt her, but it seemed Yang didn't feel the same way, she was swinging fists left and right, And Ruby was doing her best to dodge them all, but every now and then, one or two hits would connect, and boy did they hurt.
Blake was in the fight as well and she two didn't want to hurt Yang, but Rubys life could potentially be at stake, and even though Yang was her partner, she would protect Ruby from anything, even if it was her own sister.
As the fight progressed, Blake could notice some hesitance in Yangs strikes, almost as if she was fighting the hypnosis, it wasn't much, but it was enough to allow Blake and Ruby time to formulate a plan.
"Ruby... Any ideas?" Blake asked as she side stepped from one of Yangs strikes.
"Nada." Ruby replied, as she ducked under Yangs left leg, when it came flying at her.
"Well that's comforting." Blake replied sarcastically.
A moment or two went past with general fighting when Ruby finally spoke up.
"I got it... Lady Bug mark II." She called, with a grin.
"Now that's more like it." Blake said cheerfully as she shot backwards, distancing herself from Yang.
Ruby doing th same and launching away from Yang.
Yang stopped, and looked back and forth between the girls, as they were on either side of her.
Blake then threw her pistol towards Yang, who easily dodged it with a simply back step, however the gun wasn't meant for her as Ruby caught the handle, essentially connecting the two girls together by a long black ribbon.
Ruby then started running clock-wise around Yang, with Blake running counter clock-wise, Yang felt the ribbon press against her back and she went to move, but she felt a resistance inside of her, it seemed Yang was again fighting the hypnosis.
Ruby activated her semblance and sped around her sister, Blake running in the opposite direction, after a minute or two they had successfully encased Yang in a wrap of ribbons, everything but her head was wrapped up.
Blake and Ruby turned around as they heard footsteps heading for them at high speed, They quickly realized it was Pyrrha sprinting toward them.
Yang thrashed and struggled violently, attempting to free herself from her black bonds.
"Ruby, Blake, please go help Qrow interrogate Virginia, she might be able to stop the hypnosis somehow." She spoke quickly.
The two complied and ran towards Qrow and Virginia, Pyrrha however stayed behind with Yang, She was face down with her face against the hard stone, being the caring type of girl, Pyrrha turned her over and dragged her toward the wall, before propping her against it.
"Don't worry Yang, I'm here with you." She said comfortingly.
With Qrow And Virginia.
Virginia was bound by her hands and blindfolded, with Qrow sitting in front of her.
"Uncle Qrow, What have you found out?" Ruby asked rather impatiently.
"Nothing, she won't talk." He answered bluntly.
Suddenly Ruby grabbed Virginia by her right knee, and squeezed tightly, receiving and excruciating scream from Virginia.
"HOW DO WE STOP THE HYPNOSIS!?" Ruby questioned, intensely.
"AAAAH - IT - IT CAN'T BE R-REVERSED!" Virginia cried back.
"THERE HAD TO BE A WAY!" Ruby shouted, putting more pressure on her wound.
"AAAAH - I SWEAR - THERE IS NO REVERSING IT!" She cried again.
Blake couldn't stand seeing Ruby like this, her sweet, innocent Rose, being corrupt by anger, it was breaking her heart.
Blake rose her right hand, clenched it into a fist and swung viciously and Virginias skull, rendering her unconscious.
Her head hit the ground hard, with a satisfying THUMP.
Ruby looked at Blake, and Blake looked at Ruby.
"What are yo-" She was cut off when Blake suddenly cupped her cheeks and pulled her into a soft kiss.
"Ruby... This isn't you, just please stop." Blake pleaded, a tear running down her cheek.
Rubys eyes suddenly changed from angry to worried.
She then pulled Blake into a hug. "I'm sorry Blake... I hope you never see me like this again." She said, with a shaky voice and tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Hey guys?... Why am i in a cocoon?" A confused voice sounded from the distance.
With Pyrrha & Yang.
Yang had finally snapped back into reality.
"Um... Pyrrha... Why am i in a cocoon?" Yang asked calm and confused.
"You mean you don't remember what happened?" Pyrrha replied.
"Remember what?... Wait... Where's Virginia?" She asked energetically.
"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure i just watched Blake knock her out cold." Pyrrha replied with a chuckle.
"And Ruby?" Yang asked hesitantly, as if afraid of the possible answers.
"She didn't do anything don't worry, She's lucky to have Blake with her... Her and Ruby are over there, comforting each other." Pyrrha said reassuringly.
Yang let out a sigh of relief. "Good... Now can you get me out of this ribbon thing?" She replied jokingly.
"Hmm... I don't know... i kinda like seeing you like this." She replied expressing a chuckle.
Alrighty, this chapter is done, few that was pretty intense huh? What did you guys think of Virginias weapon? 'and im not a %100 sure yet.'The next few chapters might contain a lemon scene here and there, could be Yang and Pyrrha, could be Ruby and Blake, could be all four together, maybe Weiss and Jaune?, maybe Sun, Blake and Ruby? I don't know, leave a review on who you think should have a little fun in the next few chapters, anyway for now as always i will respond to any reviews i get and again thank-you all so much but that's it for know.
