All right, let me get a few things out of the way. First, I once again wasn't really that motivated to work on this chapter. I also had finals, not to mention I'm currently having housing issues. I'd rather not go into too much details, but let's just say that my has been VERY VERY BUSY and leave it at that.
Not to mention that I have several ideas for other stories (mainly a Legend of Zelda one that is kind of Modern Day, which is going to feature A LOT of characters), but I want to at least finish this story first before possibly starting up another one. But, that doesn't stop me from wanting to write about them, and working out some details. So, needless to say, I've been quite busy/distracted.
Nevertheless, I am now back at it! FNaF's Ultimate Custom Night (or UCN for short) is amazing! We can also learn a lot about the characters by listening to their voices (at least, with the ones who didn't have voices previously). Although, like any good FNaF game, it gives us more questions than it does answers. Like, a lot of them.
If anyone somehow doesn't know what I'm talking about, Scott's basically made a customizable game where you can challenge yourself against multiple characters at once on any difficulty of your choosing. And it is ruthless. If you want to find out just how ruthless, you can actually get it now. It more or less just available (two/one day early), and it's for free! All you need is a Steam account, and you're good to go! If you don't want to play it/don't want to get a Steam account, there are probably already over a 100 videos on the game on YouTube.
With that out of the way, let's get to the actual story.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. The Vocaloids belong to Crypton Media, Mothy and Crypton belong to themselves, their backstories and Aoi belong to me, and all Five Nights at Freddy's 1, 2, and 3 characters belong to Scott Cawthon. This is Rated T for minor and censored cursing. Enjoy:
FNaF 4: Night 2 (Pre-Update)
Alternate Title: "WHHHHYYYYY?!"
After an entire day to relax, chill, and get over the frustration and terror that was plaguing them, the gang was back at it. They finally got back to FNaF 4. Freddy refused to play another night so soon after the first one, which was understandable. TC decided to do the honorable thing and offered to play it this time around, instead of making fun of Freddy for being scared.
Then again, she herself did get scared by the first night, even if she wouldn't admit it. They all made sure that they were prepared. Of course, that meant getting a bunch of blankets, pillows, and comfort food into the room. In no time at all, the half of the Game Room that they were in was turned into a fort of softness, whiteness, and loads of junk food. Blankets and pillows littered the ground, so those sitting on the ground had some comfort that they would miss on the couch.
With a sigh of deep hesitation, TC started up the game and pressed continue once she got to the main menu. The game became 8bit, and the words 4 days until the party appeared in white. Once that had faded, they were greeted with the same room as the minigame at the start. The only difference was that the door seemed to be opened now. After a few seconds, text in the same yellow as before appeared, presumably coming from the Fredbear Fredbear plushie.
"You know he is hiding. I'm going to guess that whoever 'he' is also the same one who locked the door the previous minigame," TC theorized. The others nodded in agreement. TC moved around, everything in the room was pretty much the same, so she decided to leave the room. Right before she left though, the Fredbear plushie spoke again.
"Over there. What's over there? Is it the 'he' that you've been referring to this entire time?" Vincent asked rhetorically.
"I'm going to go with my gut feeling on this one and say yes to that," Marion responded. Knowing how the games worked, it was a safe bet. TC chose this moment to finally leave the room. She was greeted with what she could only assume was a hallway. Right outside the kid's room was a grandfather clock, which the Fredbear plushie from the previous room was sitting on. There were rectangular shapes on the wall, which the group silently assumed to be pictures.
"How'd did he get up there. And does the clock work? Because if it does, I want to know the kid's secret to sleeping so well. Because I imagine that you would get woken up by that thing pretty easily," BB remarked upon seeing the clock.
"He's probably used to it if it's the latter," Allen replied in less than a heartbeat. Being a servant in his first life lead to him having to get used to some pretty loud and persistent noises in order to get some sleep.
TC decided to go to the right, unsure of where exactly she was suppose to go. She was greeted with another bedroom. It had a pink lamp, a pink flower on a picture frame, pink bedsheets, and what looked like a Mangle doll or figurine in pieces on the ground in front of the bed. The Fredbear plushie was in the doorway to the room. Mangle whimpered upon seeing the destroyed toy, having very unpleasant flashbacks to her days as a 'take apart and put back together' attraction. Marion comfortingly hugged her upon hearing here whimpers.
"Did we have some sort of promotional thing going on that we weren't aware of?" BB asked, sounding genuinely confused.
"Knowing how shady Fazbear Entertainment can be, setting up a promotion without you guys knowing is probably one of the nicest things that they've done. I should know, I worked for them and was practically allowed to go on a killing spree," Vincent remarked. Marion shot him a glare at that last part, but Vincent ignored it.
TC went around the room to try and see if Fredbear would say anything, but he didn't. So, she went back out of the room and to the left. They appeared in what was probably the living room. There was a locked door on the left, and there was an indentation in the wall on the south end of the screen, probably to indicate that a window was there. The room only had an orange rug, a blue couch (that the Fredbear plush was magically sitting on already), and a counter with a TV on it. When TC approached the TV, a figure in a grey shirt wearing a Foxy mask suddenly jumped out, accompanied by a short, albeit startling, noise that made everyone in the room jump.
"I'm going to assume that this is the 'he' that Fredbear was referring to," Freddy remarked, quickly recovering from the false jumpscare. The others nodded in agreement. After a few seconds, the Fredbear plushie spoke once again.
"Tomorrow is another day."
"Unless you're not alive. Because you'll be dead," Kayo remarked. She did make a good point. But before anyone could really comment on it, the screen faded, and was replaced by grey text.
"Fun with Plushtrap"
"Ooookay, what? What the hell is this?" TC asked, immediately becoming worried. Marion leaned forward from his seat on the ground to look at the screen.
"Hold Ctrl to use flashlight. Use flashlight to sort Plushtrap on the "X" to skip 2 hours on next night. I remember Plushtrap from one of the last teaser images. He's basically a Mini-Vincent in terms of looks," He commented. Vincent let out a laugh.
"I was going to say the exact same thing!" He said before laughing a little bit more. This broke the tension, but only for a few seconds before TC clicked her mouse to continue forward. Sure enough, the window that was in the teaser image of Plushtrap, as well as a timer that started on 90.
Everyone became silent as the timer started to go down. TC waited a few moments before flashing the light. She could see the four doorways that were in the teaser if you brightened the picture up. There was a white X on the ground in front of her character. Sure enough, at the end of the hallway was Plushtrap, sitting in a white chair. When she had flashed a light, there was a blur that suggested that Plushtrap was off the chair, but quickly got back on when TC flashed the light. This caused her and the others to jump.
After a few seconds, the same thing happened again. TC took a deep breath, realizing that she needed to calm down and wait longer. After a few more seconds, TC tensed when she thought she heard something. Deciding to check (for her sanity's sake) she flashed the light. Plushtrap slumped to the ground in hallway, between where the doors were. Vincent let out a nervous chuckle at this, the others also a little unnerved by this.
TC turned the flashlight off and again waited for a few seconds before flashing the light again. There was yet another blur, which indicated that Plushtrap went into the right door closest to TC. TC felt her nonexistent heart skip a few beats at this. She took another deep breath as she once again waited. Upon hearing what sounded like footsteps, she immediately flashed the flashlight. What this resulted in was Plushtrap slumping down right onto the X.
"HELL YEAH!" TC exclaimed with a fist pump. The others cheered alongside her, clapping and fist pumping as well. TC allowed herself to relax a little bit as the minigame faded and was replaced by beginning slate for the actual night. The words "Night 2" appeared at the top left.
"Ah man, that was intense. Now here's hoping I don't end up wasting my accomplishment by getting murdered right away," TC remarked as the night officially began at 2 A.M.
"You probably will," Vincent teased with a smirk. TC glared at nothing in particular as she went to the right door to see if anyone was out there. Luckily there was no one out there.
"Can someone punch Vincent for me?" At TC's request, BB immediately punched Vincent in the arm, earning a rather loud yelp from the taller robot. TC smirked as she went back into the center of the room. She checked the left door, the closet (blame her paranoia), and the bed in that order. There was a single Mini Nightmare-Freddy on the bed, the noise and the blur causing a few of the group to jump.
TC then checked the right door again and flashed, which caused a certain yellow bird at the end to retreat around the corner. TC shivered, having actually seen the animatronic's eyes reflected in the window as she retreated. It was really spooky, which helps with the atmosphere. She then went to the left door and listened intently. She didn't hear anything, so she flashed. Wrong move, as Nightmare Bonnie ended her game with a jumpscare, causing everyone in the room to jump.
"AHHHH! DAMNIT!" TC yelled angrily, leaning backwards to rest her head against the couch. Freddy, Riliane, Marion, and BB all turned to glare at Vincent, who seemed to have called what would happen. The killer raised his hands up in defense.
"I was just making a joke, I didn't know that would happen," He defended. TC sighed in frustration as she sat back up and jumped right back into the night.
"I didn't not hear any breathing. I don't know what this game's talking about," She stated, sighing heavily. Freddy patted her on the back in encouragement. When the night started back up, it was back at 12 A.M.
"DAMNIT! … Damnit! Damnit! Damnit! How was I supposed to know what the breathing sounded like!?" TC exclaimed upon seeing the hour. Everyone else looked at each other. Clearly, this game was going to frustrate TC more than scare her. They weren't exactly looking forward to dealing with a very frustrated TC, but they would have to suck it up. They weren't really going to be going anywhere, and they needed this done. Plus, TC would shoot anyone offers to do this down.
TC sighed heavily as she checked both doors, seeing nothing down either of them. It was like this until some time during 1 A.M. She perked up, hearing noises on the right. Of course, when she checked the right, there was nothing there. She looked behind her in order to get rid of a Mini-Freddy. They really needed to come up with a better name for those things.
She checked the left door, and let out a sigh of relief as Nightmare Bonnie retreated from her flashlight. She at least got one of them. Of course, nothing like that happened for the remainder of the hour. Even when she was a few seconds into 2 A.M. (effectively catching up to where she last was), nothing was happening. Of course, she was afraid of talking in case she missed something that ended up killing her. This game was really tense, even more so since they had to turn the volume to max in order for TC (and anyone else playing after her) to have chance at beating the night.
When she checked the left door again, she flashed and made Nightmare Bonnie retreat once again. She relaxed a little bit, but immediately tensed up as she went back into the room. After a few seconds of checking other places, TC went to the right and, after a few moments, flashed. Luckily, Nightmare Chica was in the hall and not right in front of her, so she succeeded in backing her off. She relaxed a little as she went to check the bed, getting rid of a Mini-Freddy in the process.
"I think I have an idea as to what the footsteps sound like," She remarked, although she still sounded unsure. They didn't blame her, as there were a lot of sounds in the game that can throw a person off. When she went to the left, she thought she heard the sound of someone running, causing her to close the door due to her now high paranoia. She silently looked at the others, shocked and little scared. She waited for a few seconds, although it seemed like forever, before she left the left door and went to the right.
After a moment of hesitation, TC decided to flash. It wasn't a good idea, as she was met with a jumpscare, courtesy of Nightmare Chica. This, in turn, caused her and everyone else to jump and scream. Mangle and Riliane grabbed Marion and Allen respectively. Vincent almost jumped over the couch, and Kayo almost tipped her chair over, while the others merely jumped a little. Except for TC, who leaned against the couch and groaned into her hands.
"WHHHHYYYYY?!" She yelled as she moved her hands away and glared at nothing in particular. The frustration with this game was clearly getting to her. After a few seconds to compose herself, TC sat up straight again, moving her hands away from her face. She silently waited for everyone else to calm down as well. Once she was sure everyone had calmed down, she let out a long, dissatisfied sigh.
"What is the breathing? What is the breathing!?" She asked in a disheartened tone before sighing again. Everyone looked at each other in concern as TC started the night up again.
"TC, are you okay? Because we can stop for now if you want," Freddy offered in a gentle tone. TC shook her head before looking at him.
"No, it's fine. I think I just need to take more time, and you all know that I'm not a very patient person," She replied. She then smiled warmly and added, "I appreciate your concern though."
She turned away to look back at the screen, so she managed to miss the blush that Freddy got on his face. He looked way to his side and saw BB with a huge grin. He quickly realized what happened, and blushed even more in embarrassment, looking forward as TC checked the left door. All he got in response to that was a quiet chuckle from Vincent, thus sealing the fact that Freddy was caught blushing because of TC by more than one person. He was never going to live this down.
Two more doors and one jumpscare later, curtesy of Nightmare Chica, and TC now had a much firmer grasp on what the breathing sounded like. With this new information, she new planned on actually taking her time. When it was 1 A.M., she went to the left door and warded Nightmare Bonnie away, before doing the same with Nightmare Chica on the right. TC then checked the bed and warded off a Mini-Freddy.
She then went to the right door and, after a few seconds, closed it. Everyone thought that meant that Nightmare Chica was outside the door. TC, however, doubted herself. She still wasn't too sure what the breathing in the game actually sounded like. It was too difficult to tell. However, due a suddenly influx of courage, she took a deep breath, opened the door, and flashed. Luckily for everyone in the room, there was nothing there, allowing everyone to sigh in relief.
When it was 2 A.M., TC warded off Nightmare Chica. The game glitched and showed her slinking away twice, which unsettled everyone. She left, warded off a Mini-Freddy, and then went to the left door. She waited for a few seconds before closing it, her artificial heart racing. She soon left that door though (no pun intended). She then checked the right door, left, and then checked the right door again. This time, she heard a sound that was like something taking a breathe in her ear. Her heart raced up as she quickly closed the door.
"NOO! OOH, THAT'S WHAT IT WAS! THAT'S WHAT IT WAS!" TC practically screamed. The others tensed, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. After a few very anxious seconds, TC opened the door and flashed. Luckily, there was nothing there. Everyone once again breathed a sigh of relief.
When it became 3 A.M., TC made Nightmare Bonnie go away from the left. She also managed to get rid of two Mini-Freddy's that were on the bed. When she checked the right door after some time, she waited for a few seconds. That was all it took before she heard breathing sounds, prompting her to close the door.
The same thing happened on the left side when it was 4 A.M. She left the door (again, no pun intended), checked the right, checked the left door again, and then closed it again. At this point, she was gripping the mouse so tightly that Freddy and Kayo were legitimately concerned that she was going to destroy it, thus ruining her own progress.
Aside from getting rid of the Nightmares with flashes while they were down the hall, closing the door, and flashing the bed, nothing of note happened until 5 A.M. Some time had gone by, and TC was silently begging for the night to end. While she was checking the left hallway, she heard the sound of a door moving. Her heart stopped as she went back into the room. When she did, the closet door did an animation that made it looked like someone was closing it back to it's original position. TC barely breathed as she went to the closet. When she flashed, she saw what everyone could only assume to be Nightmare Foxy. She quickly closed the closet door, and was almost instantly greeted with a transition to 6 A.M.
TC and everyone screamed in joy at this. Mangle hugged Marion, Riliane hugged Allen, and TC hugged Freddy. As she did this, she looked up and saw BB with a grin. She then glared at him and mouth 'Don't say a word about this to anyone.' BB nodded, deciding it was best to keep this to himself. Once the celebration was over, everyone relaxed as the end-of-the-night minigame began to play.
Similar to how the previous minigame started, the words 3 days until the party appeared on screen before fading away. Unlike the previous game though, they scene they ended up in could only be that of a restaurant due to the table that the poor boy they were controlling was hiding under. The room was very colorful with what looked like either confetti or glitter on the ground and balloons stuck on the table. There was an opening to the right side, indicating a door, and on the left side there was a picture with what looked like Golden Freddy on it. Except it had eyes, and it had a purple hat and bowtie instead of black ones.
"Wha- where are- why are we here?" TC asked, her frustration and joy from the night now turning int confusion.
"Maybe it's Fredbear's. We have yet to see it in an actual game yet, plus I believe that Fredbear's stared the Golden Freddy suit and Spring Bonnie," Vincent theorized. No one had time to respond as what they could only assume to be the Fredbear plush talked to them again. Despite not physically being there.
"He left without you. Well, that's just f*cking rude," Kayo remarked, acting offended. This caused a few chuckles among the group.
"He knows that you hate it here. I can't imagine why," Marion sarcastically stated, causing Mangle to giggle quietly.
"I believe this means that this is now classifies as bullying. I do not approve of this," Riliane said with a frown, glaring at the TV. Due to what she did in her previous life, and what with her wanting to change all of that, she was against this kind of behavior. The poor kid was also clearly terrified.
"You are right by the exit. If you run, you can make it. Well then, get out from under the table, hold down LR, and run," Allen commented. The others chuckled at his video game reference. Unfortunately, the boy didn't get out from underneath the table. The group didn't blame him.
The words Hurry, run toward the exit, appeared, and the boy was suddenly out from under the table. Out of curiosity, TC went to the left instead of the right, which was obviously the exit. More text appeared, saying, "No! Don't you remember what you saw? The exit is the other way! Hurry and leave."
"Well, that is ominous and implies that there are more sinister reasons for disliking the robots. You know, besides the general creepiness that comes with animatronic robots," Freddy pointed out. Everyone nodded in agreement. TC then moved the character to the right, but was met with resistance. A man in what could only be a Fredbear suit appeared, blocking the exit.
"It's too late. Hurry the other way and find someone who will help! You know what will happen if he catches you! Well, that is once again very ominous! Also time to run the other way," TC said before moving the character to the right. The entered a room with two tables. Ther were also purple shadows of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie on the wall to the far left.
"You can find help if you can get past them. You have to be strong. Something tells me that's not going to happen," Vincent stated. He was right, as the kid barely went a few steps to the left before hiding underneath the table. The person in the Fredbear suit was back in frame, and no matter how much TC pressed any buttons, nothing happened. Of course, they all quickly realized why as some familiar text appeared.
Tomorrow is another day.
The scene faded and the Fun with Plushtrap instructions from before appeared on screen. They all quickly realized that, if they want to do this game, they'll have to do a lot of it in one day so they can make use of the rewards that come with the minigame. Assuming they don't fail or die immediately. Before anyone could offer to do it, TC jumped right into it.
"I'm willing to do the Plushtrap parts. Who want's to do Night 3?" TC asked as the game loaded. She frowned when she saw that the time was 60, 30 less than last time.
"I'll do it. A Vocaloid might as well get involved," Kayo offered. No one objected, so it was settled. TC nodded as she flashed at 45 seconds. Plushtrap went into the right door closest to the X, which unsettled TC. She took a deep breath and waited 10 seconds before flashing again. Luckily for everyone, Plushtrap was on the X.
"Good luck, Kayo. You'll be needing it," TC said as she quickly moved to the side. Kayo nodded in acknowledgement as she sat down where TC was. It was time to begin Night 3.
A/N: FINALLY. I managed to finally finish this chapter off. Since I have almost nothing else to do, what with my current conditions in regards to the housing issues I mentioned in the beginning, the next chapter should hopefully be coming soon. I make no promises though.
Anyways, I thank you all for reading, and for sticking around despite my hiatus. Give it a review if you like! Thanks!
