SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

It was Sara's last day on Earth. She was quite excited about going home but she was sure going to miss this place. She had, had so much fun. Sam was the one to suggest what they should do on the last day.

"Shopping!"

"Ugh." Both Daniel and Cameron said.

"Oh some on, it'll be fun." Sara sat there reading a book, barely noticing the conversation going on.

"Fine," Daniel said.

"Cameron?" Sam said. He sighed.

"Fine," he said with a slightly sulky voice.

"Great," Sara grab your coat. Sara peered over her book. She wasn't sure what was going on.

"Huh!"
"We're going shopping."

"Only because you can spend all the Air forces money," Cameron stated.

"Who wouldn't," she said.
They arrived an hour later at a shopping mall. Sara gasped at the sheer size of it. It was 5 floors high with every type of shop you could imagine.

"Where first?" Sam asked.

"Sport shop."

"Book shop." Daniel and Cameron said at the same time, then frowned at each other.

Sara was still gasping at the size of the place not taking much notice of what was going on.

"We'll go to the sports shop first then the book shop." Sam being the overall and one to have the last word took control.

They went into the sports shop. Sara really liked it in there. There where loads of balls and stuff.

"No we cannot get her a bike. Where would she ride it?" Sam said to Cameron.

"Blades at least then," Sam sighed.
"You have to be the one who explains to Doctor Weir why there is a 12 year old in blades, knocking over all the scientists in Atlantis."

"Done, Sara!" He called out. Sara looked up and wondered over to Cameron.
"You see these, these are blades, all the cool kids have them. You use them to skate around. And your in luck, you are a cool kid so we're gonna get you some. Now what size feet are you." Cameron grabbed an assistant to measure Sara's feet.

"Nice sneakers!" The teenager said to Sara. He was wearing van's too.

"Thanks."
"Size 4. Which one's are you interested in."

"I think we should go with some beginner kind of things, but will give her a bti off speed once she's use to it."

"We've got just the pair." He came back with some red and black skates. Sara tried them on.
"They fit nice?"
"Yep."

"Great, we'll take um." Cameron paid of them.

"I'll teach you a few things when we get back to base," He said taking the box.

After purchasing a few more sport's 'essentials' as Cameron put it. A few balls, a baseball bat, mite and ball. A soccer ball and a hockey stick and puck. They then headed for the book store.

Sara loved the place. Daniel was soon grabbing some books he thought would look good in her collection. He grabbed a few languages books, Spanish, French, Italian, German. He picked up a few classics and a couple of book marks.
They then headed for the a store Sara had spotted. She picked up a liking for surfer clothes. The surfer shop made Sara's eyes sparkle. Inside they got a few more T-Shirts and trousers. And of course some new trainers. Sara had fallen in love with some browney coloured ones with an orange stripe. They where of course van's.

Later they where all shopped out and headed for base. Sara had also picked up some gifts for the people back in Atlantis.

In the evening Cameron was teaching Sara to blade. They where in a corridor that wasn't so busy. Sam was stood at one end and Cameron at the other. Sara was skating back and forth. She had soon picked it up after a few falls.
They had decided to head out for one last meal. They went to a posh restaurant. They went In the door and the waiter took them to a table for 5. General Landry had said he was going to come. He was just finishing up some reports.

They ordered some drinks first. Sara choosing a glass of lemonade. Sam had recommended the spaghetti bolognaise to Sara. General Landry turned up not long later. He smiled and put his leather jacket on the back of the chair, still in his air force uniform. He looked so important. He scared Sara a little when she had first met hi. But after a while of speaking to him now, he seemed rather nice. He told her amazing stories of him in aeroplanes. Sara knew some of it had been changed. the whole 'security' thing.

The food arrived and everybody tucked it. Sara had a bit of trouble eating it when it came. It flicked everywhere. Sam showed her how to wrap it round her fork and eat it. They chatted for a bit.

After eating the main course they sat back and just enjoyed each others company. The waiter cam over and handed them a desert menu. Sara spotted something that looked rather interesting.

"Chocolate fountain?"

"Yeah, it's over there," Daniel pointed

"We have got to try that Sara," Sam said

Sara smiled. They all decided to have a go at the chocolate fountain. The waiter handed them a plate each. They went over and next to the chocolate fountain where sticks and fruit and marshmallows. They stuck strawberries and marshmallows and apple on the sticks, then stuck it under the warm, rich chocolate. They sat at the table and ate the chocolately treats
"This is delicious," Sara said getting chocolate all round her face. She grabbed a serviette.

"I agree," Sam said.

"Girls and chocolate," Cameron said taking a large bite of a chocolate covered marshmallow.

"I like it," Daniel said.

"Exact ally!"
"Hey!"

Cameron smiled.

"Come on Cameron you can't say it isn't nice," Sam said.

"We'll, I guess."

They finished there chocolate sticks and then paid. Sara fell asleep in the car journey back. Cameron carried her to her room and put her on her bed.

Sara awoke early the next morning. Daniel was just about to knock on the door when it swung open with an already changed Sara.
"Hey, you packed everything," Daniel said.

"Uh, yeah, but I can't shut my suit case." Daniel went over and pushed hard on the suitcase. He zipped it up with a bit of force.

"I seem to have picked up a few things." She smiled and grabbed her back pack.

"Let's grab some breakfast first." They headed for the mess hall. Sam, Cameron, General Landry and Doctor Lamb, where all there to give her a breakfast goodbye. A stack of pancakes sat on her plate. They all had pancakes and chatted happily. Sara felt slightly sad though. She was really going to miss them. But she did want to go home too. She missed her family their. Now she kind of had 2 families. The people here were family too. After breakfast it was time for goodbyes. Sara felt a tear run down her face and quickly batted it off her face. Making sure no on saw.

"You are welcome back any time, Sara." General Landry said with a smile. Sara gave him a hug.
"Thanks."

Next was Doctor Lamb.

"Shame me didn't have more time to get to know each other. I've been very busy." She smiled and hugged Sara. Cameron was next.
"Come here you." He grabbed her and swung her round in a hug.

"I'm going to miss you shorty."

"I'll miss you too."
"Got you blades."

"Yep."

"Good."
Cameron put her down and she walked over to Sam. Sam looked close to tears. She gave Sam a big hug and whispered in her ear.

"Keep the boys in line." Sam smiled.

"I will," she said.

Daniel was last.
"I hope to see you again soon. I really am going to miss you. Keep your languages going."
