Read it, love it, hate it, let me know!

Chapter 21

"Peter Pan," I shouted as I opened the adjoining door, furious, "Where the devil did you put my clothes?"

"Nowhere," he said as he looked up innocently from the book that he was reading, "I just thought you wanted them to be clean."

"All of them," I snarled as he gave a coy grin and put his nose into his book.

I huffed and crossed my arms, glaring at him. He looked up and his eyes widened, "Don't move."

"Oh no," I said as I changed my position quickly before he could find a pen, "I have stuff to do today, give me back my clothes."

"Stuff? What type of stuff?"

"Things that don't concern you."

"Captain, we're at the seaside four hours away from London, what possible things must you do?"

"I want to go sea bathing if you must know," I sighed, telling him.

Pan walked over to me, "The pirate misses the sea huh?"

"Very much, I'm tempted to go back to India to get my ship. Maybe I'll sail away forever," I tested him for his reaction, he didn't have one. He stared at me blankly and then grabbed my hand.

He started rubbing his face against my nimble fingers, "You wouldn't leave me behind would you?"

"A ship is no place for a woman, Petra. Hey," I shouted as he lifted his teeth from my finger.

"Well, you can't go anywhere, not dressed in my favorite outfit at least," shrugged Peter.

I grabbed his neck and brought him down to the ground. I saddled him and restrained his hands over his head with my other limb, "Give it to me."

"Nope."

"I'm not in the mood," I warned.

"Oh no," he asked playfully, "You have the mood swings of a woman, want some chocolate?"

"Foolish boy," I hissed as I squeezed his neck. I moved in closer to his face to pose a threat, "I want them now."

He sighed, "Fine, but it's a secret. Come here."

I leaned forward as he whispered seductively, "You will receive them after Neverland has its full. The Indian needs to capture the Lost Boy. The pirates must ravage the Indian and the sirens must lose the pirates completely."

"Fuck you," I said as I lifted my head.

"Oh I will," Peter said as he looked up at me under those dark lashes, "Vigorously."

A knock came to my door. Since I was finally decent, I was able to open it. It was Miss Tinker.

"Hello," I said trying to hide the distaste in my voice.

"There was a telegram sent for you," she said and then added, "From London."

"Thank you," I replied taking it and closing the door. I ripped it open.

Dear Mr. Hook. Stop. I found top secret information. Stop. I cannot trust it to be written. Stop. Meet me in London at the Scottish bar by Thursday 8 PM. Stop. Yours truly detective Watson Stop.

Thursday was tomorrow.

"Peter," I shouted as I ran into his room. I noticed that his door to the hallway was open and his body was halfway through it. I went closer and saw Miss Tinker on the other side slightly blushing.

"Hook," smiled Pan as he looked back at me.

"I'll leave you," she said as she walked away. Pan lingered, probably watching her arse all the way down the steps. I cleared my throat loudly and he turned, giving me a sheepish grin, "What? She has gorgeous 'birthing hips' as you would call it."

I gritted my teeth and changed the subject, "Detective Watson found a lead, he wants to meet me tomorrow. We have to leave tonight."

Peter closed the door, "I can't leave, there is still paperwork to be done, and they're trying to rob me."

I wanted to say that we could split up and meet back at Pan's manor but there was no way in hell that I was leaving him alone with Miss Tinker Belle.

"Paperwork shouldn't take more than a week."

"We've been here for a few days, this house has been in my father's family for centuries. It's my birthright and because I'm selling it all my cousins are involved because it should go to them if anything happens to me. I have to meet my cousins that I've never seen in my life to fight for the house, because it belongs to them not me. They say I don't have the right to sell it… I don't have to explain this to you, you're doing my paper work."

"Someone tried to murder me," I reminded him, "My birthright was taken from me and I have a pressing secret-not secret lawsuit against my brother."

"Well I can't leave," shouted Peter throwing his hands up in the air, "You'll have to go alone."

I bit my tongue so I wouldn't say anything stupid he wasn't going to come, he was preoccupied here. I set my jaw and walked away from him, "Oh come now! Captain!"

I locked the door as emotions boiled inside of me. It wasn't so much anger as it was disappointment. I would drop everything for him and it crushed me that he wouldn't do the same. I quickly packed and called for our driver. He helped me with my bags and I went downstairs. My heart squeezed when I saw Peter sitting and laughing with Miss Tinker.

He looked at me, his smile disappearing. I felt like someone stabbed me, "Goodbye Pan."

"Goodbye Hook," he said just as coldly as I did. I turned away, I felt tears welling and my pride would not let them spill. I was stronger than that.
