EPILOGUE (three months later)
The latest tour group was due in any moment. The proprietor got everything ready to check in the guests. She saw the converted old Jeep truck bus enter the gate and she smiled as they passed the corral and saw the head rancher, Quinn working the horses. She remembered a day not too many months ago when she came to Mesa Verde. Little did she know that she would wind up purchasing the ranch from Emma and Will and marrying her Soulmate.
She went out to the porch to greet the guests as Sam pulled up with them.
Welcome to Mesa Verde Ranch all. We hope you will have a fantastic stay with us here. I'm Rachel and here is my wife Quinn as she smiled to the striking woman who rode up on a beautiful Pinto and dismounted. The guests filed into the Main Lodge to register and Rachel and Quinn followed arm in arm.
Later that evening, in the quiet of the Arizona night, the couple sat on the porch of their home.
"You've made me happier than I could have ever imagined Quinn."
"And you are the fulfillment of a dream and a prophecy I could never comprehend. I only wish my Grandmother could be here to see this."
With that, their eyes were drawn to a brilliant shooting star that streaked across the sky right in front of them.
"I have no doubt she is here darling." And Rachel reached over to kiss her hero.
Thank you all for your patience. I cannot give any excuse as to why I had not finished this, but I always knew I wanted to and ultimately would.
This story is very personal for me and now was the time that this had to be done.
