She walked with a pep in her step, Sesshoumaru noted.
She made it seem like nothing had occurred the night before and that her dreams only bothered her at night and yet when they stopped for a break later in the day and she patted water along her neck he saw pain that haunted her memory-less eyes.
Pain for that what she could not remember.
Pain for what she did remember.
As though sensing his gaze, she turned to him, and he looked away quickly trying to un-see her personal, private pain that should have remained unseen to his gaze.
