Lidia was still asleep when the team and Roy woke up. They were all settling in the kitchen and debating what to eat for breakfast.

"ROY!" They heard Lidia scream down the hall way, and saw her enter the living room panting for breath.

She still felt unfocused and a bit drowsy, but her son was missing and she had to find him.

When she spotted her son put down a bowl of cereal and run towards her, her eyes glistened. Lidia bent down to grab him in a firm hug. She really didn't care if her shoulder was throbbing or she was dizzy. Her son was safe in her arms.

"Mama. I was so scared that you wouldn't wake up." Roy cried on her shoulder.

"It's alright honey. I will never leave you, I promised remember? I'm just so glad that you are safe." She sniffed as she shed tears of happiness.

She looked up and saw the rest of the team there and she realized where she was at.

"What Happened?" She asked.

"You were almost kidnapped Lidia. They shot you with enough sedatives to take me down. I apologize but we had to take you to the hospital. You would have died." Bruce explained.

"What did they want?" She hugged Roy tighter to her and carried him to the couch.

"We honestly don't know." Tony answered.

"Did they take anything?"

"Uh about that… They blew up your apartment." Clint tried to say it nicely, but there really isn't a way to say it nicely.

Lidia's face paled. She was never one to care for materialistic things, but she did have photos that were taken from back home. They were irreplaceable.

"Oh…I see." She didn't know how to respond. She already moved out of her old apartment. She didn't know where she could stay. Maybe sensei's? The twins? Coco?

"Lidia?" She looked up to whoever was calling her.

"Lidia, I have a guess of what you are thinking. Since I'm the one trying to convince you to move in the first place. I'll take responsibility. You're welcome to stay here as long as you would like." Tony smiled.

"Tony. You've done so much for me already. I can't accept." Lidia flustered.

"Nonsense. Besides you'll be closer to work and Roy will always have tutors on hand. Steve is on the same boat as you since his place was trashed." Tony waved his hand dismissively.

Lidia turned to Steve and saw his face. He looked worried and concerned, not for himself but for Lidia.

"It's only temporary, but it's better than nothing." He tried to make light of it.

Lidia wanted to argue, but she didn't really have much choice. "Fine. Thank you tony for the hospitality. I will figure out a way to pay you back in the future." Lidia bowed her head out of habit from the dojo.

"No need for that. Now I bet you're hungry? I'll call for some breakfast." Tony was typing a number on his phone but it was yanked from his hand by Lidia.

"Take out is really unhealthy Tony. Give me thirty minutes and I'll have breakfast ready." She said as she walked towards the kitchen.

She looked around and she had no choice but to approve the nice kitchen area. She scanned the fridge and cabinets and brought the list in her head. 'Eggs, ham slices, bread, muffin mix, cinnamon, milk…..Beer. beer. Beer. And more beer.'

Lidia will have a talk with them about the irresponsibility of alcoholic consumption.

"Let's see. French toast, ham and eggs, and muffins." She said aloud. "Yup making breakfast will be a breeze, if yall can wait for a about thirty minutes." Lidia yelled out to the living room.

"I don't know if I can mmph-!" Clint Tried to talk but tony and Steve covered his mouth before Lidia could hear him.

"We would be happy to eat your cooking Lidia." Steve smiled.

"Ok!" She answered.

"MMPH!" Clint struggled for air.

"Opps. Sorry Legolas." Tony said.

"What the hell was that for?!" Clint hissed.

"You haven't had the pleasure of tasting Lidia's cooking." Steve smirked.

"Just be patient bird-brain." Tony grinned.

"Lidia! Jarvis can play any music you like if you want." Steve yelled to the kitchen.

"Thanks Steve." She answered and not two seconds later.

Tony quirked his eyebrow at Steve.

"She likes to listen to music when she is cooking. The same when you are in your lab."

Tony made an 'ah' sound in understanding.

Roy already pushed his way to the kitchen to watch over his mama in case she still didn't feel good, But she kept her word and in no time she had food ready.

Roy still did help her bring food to the living room because it looked like tony didn't have a table really where everyone can eat together at one spot.

The avengers looked hungrily at the food. Steve was smart to get a plate of food fast before the other animals did.

"Holy Mother! This is good!"

"Thank you Barton." Lidia gushed.

She then glanced at the clock and paled quickly paled.

9:24.

"Holy crap! I'll be late for school!" Lidia ran towards her room she was in before.

Tony smirked and counted out loud. "Three.. Two.. One."

"AAAHHHH! I don't have any clothes, or a notebook! Dammnit ! Voy a encontrar a esos cabrones que hicieron esto a mí! Van a encontrar lo que significa de puto dolor! Doesn't matter. I'll buy a note book on the way there. Uh clothes? I'll tell the twins i fell." She started blabbling to herself.

She was thankful that she still had her shoes at least She played a series of hopscotch down the hall way as she tried to get her shoes on.

The team watched with intrest on how Lidia got ready.

Bruce sighed. "Steve. Grab her before she hurts herself. As he sipped his tea.

Steve nodded in understanding. There was no way she can go to school still injured like that. Not to mention whoever is still lurking about trying to get her. Today was house arrest.

She was still hopping when Steve grabbed her and picked her up bridal style.

"EEEE! Steven Rogers! You put me down this instant. You know how much i hate being carried." She struggled to get down.

"i know Lidia. You have to rest though. Missing one day of school will be fine." He tried to reason.

"But the twins will worry. I'll fail my clases. And-"

"No! I'll talk to the twins and Bruce will call the school. We only ask for one day. I'm sure Roy wants a break from school too." Steve put his foot down.

Lidia thought about it and sighed.

"Fine, But i'm not going to be cooped up in here all day. I have things i need to do. Roy still has to go see sensei today too and i will take him. I need to get clothes and groceries. Just because i was caught by surprise once does not mean that i can't handle things." Lidia crossed her arms as best as she could in steve's arms.

"Then I'll come with you. I know that you can take care of yourself but for peace of mind for all of us." Steve gently put her down on the couch.

Lidia didn't look too thrilled but she nodde in understanding.

"Can i borrow someones phone. I still need to call the twins." Steve nodded and handed her his phone.

She dialed the numbers from heart and waited.

"Hello" Ryan's voice answered.

"Ryan?"

"Holy shit! Lidia!? Where are you? Brian and i went to your place only to find it blown up. Are you okay? Is Roy okay?" What happened? Where are you?"

Lidia had to hold the phone at arms length when Ryan started yelling.

"Put me on speaker. I can hear Brian yelling in the background. 'BEEP' Okay can you guys hear me?"

"Yes" both twins answered.

"I'm okay guys. Just a bit ratteled. I wasn't in there when it happened. Faulty pipe and all. I'm staying at a Friends place for a bit till i can get back on my feet. Uh. Please don't scream. I'm at Stark tower." She pulled the phone away and the whole team could hear screaming form the phone.

Lidia accidently put the phone on speaker and she Heard another voice.

"You can have this back after class."

"Professor?"

"Oh Lidia? I was surprised not to see you here but i overheard from the twins and i'm glad that you and your son are alright. I expect to see your beautiful smile next week."

Lidia blushed red, she Heard the phone beep and knew that he took speker off on his side. "I also hope we can still catch that coffee."

"U-Uh. I'll think about it. I need to get things stable again." Lidia turned red and turned her own speaker off. Good thing she did too.

"Hope you wear a cute outfit like you do everyday. Can't blame a man can you." She Heard him chuckle sexily.

"EEP! Uh well profesor, I uh, um." She really didn't know how to respond.

"Also if you fall behind in class i don't mind being your personal tutor."

"I uh. Thank you profesor. I'll keep that in mind." Lidia was red from head to toe as she ended that call.

She looked at the group sitting with her and some had confused looks while the others had a knowing look.

"Well. Um. I'm going to take a shower. Then we can head out." Lidia got up and quickly walked to her room flushed in the face.

"You better hurry up Steve. Johnson looks like he he is making his move." Roy got up and put his plate in the sink.

Once he left Clint just smirked at Steve. "Sharp kid there. Better listen to him."

~Hour later~

Lidia was thankful that Natasha loaned her some clothes but the shirts were uncomfortable since they were too tight in the chest área, but she still wore it.

She made a list of what she needed and walked towards the living room where she found Roy and Steve trying but failing to play a video game.

"I hate to break it to you boys but we need to get going." Lidia smiled.

Both males looked at each other and it looked like they were grateful to stop with video games since it was too confusing to them.

"So where do you want to go first?" Steve asked as he walked towards the garage when they reached the basement.

"Clothing store. I'll get food in the end because i don't want any food to spoil during the time we are out. Then we can take Roy to the dojo." Lidia listed off on her fingers.

"Okay So now comes the question of which car of tony's do we take." Steve looked at her mischifeouly.

"My, is thee captain america a thrill seeker?" Lidia mocked surprised.

"Why don't you find out?" He teased.

As much as Lidia would like to see Tony sweat, she just chose something that seemed more like home. An Antique gmc truck.

~Hour later~

Lidia told Steve at a certain store that was on the outskirts of new york and was suprised that it was a thrift store.

"I like old fashion than the new kind. Also i'm kind of cheap when it comes to clothes, i just know how to find good stuff for a good Price. My paychek when i came here wasn't high enough for the way of living in new york." She blushed lightly.

He nodded his head in understanding, as all three entered the store. He saw Lidia Bee-line down each isle and take one piece of garment after another and put in a basket like a pro shopper. Roy already seen her do this the first time that she shopped for his clothes so he didn't have the surprised face that Steve had.

He could really do nothing but watch, and in and out like that. They were done in the span of thirty minutes. He was just grateful that Lidia is not like Pepper and natasha when it comes to shopping. He will still never wear the clothes that they bought him.

She looked at her watch and cursed silently to her self. 1:53…. " we might be a little late to the dojo. I have extra clothes for you Roy that you can change in when we get there." Lidia smiled at her son.

Roy just smiled back, but inside he was just itching to get to the dojo.

~Unnown area~

"You had one job!" The old man slammed his fist on his desk.

If red was a scared Little boy then he might have flinched, but he was a trained hitman. This bag of ass didn't scare him, but he did piss him off.

"Yup and it wasn't in my expertise. I kill, it's what i'm good at. I don't do kidnapping. Grey was the supposed expert, but now he is dead." Red shrugged but kept his guard up. He really didn't like this orginization.

The old man didn't look happy at that answer at all. "I'm well aware of that. He was your handler, barely left your side."

"I hope he did, becasue it will be really akward if he was watching me banging some random chick." Red smugly answered.

"Tch. Your expertise is not required. Just leave."

"I don't even get a hazard pay? She fucking slashed my face." Red looked irritated.

"And it's all healed , yes? Leave." The man shoed him out.

Red just glared but he turned away. He was out numbered here.

As he was walking down the corridors slowly out, he couldn't help but wonder why Fiesty was so important. Sure she was tough but nothing else as important.

"Hey did you hear that we almost got Blood back?" Red Heard a scientist from a room that he was about to pass.

"yeah i did, but pain didn't get her. Said his job is killing not kidnapping. Damn."

'Wait are they talking about me? My name is not pain.' Red thought.

"I can't wait till they get her though. She was small back then but her blood must be stronger now."

"Hey want to get some coffee before they run out?"

"yeah let me just set these down." Red with his good hearing, knew that it was papers. He hid around a crevice and waited for them to leave the room.

He was fired from the job but he wanted some form of payment. Even if it had to be information.

He quickly entered the room and looked at the desks. He just had the dumbest luck, or the dumbest scientist to leave him a paper file that said 'blood'.

He opened it. 'So that's why they wanted her. She was a labrat.' He thought as he skimmed throgh random pictures and he knew it was her dispite her younger age. He was about to give up the stupid search but he looked at the last picture and he had to squint his eyes when he saw something red in the background. His eyes opened wide when he realised what or who it was.

"So what projects are you working on?" red Heard the scientist coming back. He grabbed the photo and quickly got out before he was seen.

He walked fast out and he couldn't help how many were staring at him. It was really starting to piss him off. He needed answers and he knew one fiesty women who might have them.

~Lidia and Steve~

"Okay Let's go!" Lidia hurried out of the dojo. She loves sensei but she really didn't want him to know she was injured.

"So what else do we need to do?" Steve asked as he turned the truck on.

I believe just groceries since it will take the longest. Absolutly no food at Tony's but it has an abundance of beer." Lidia gave him a pointed look.

"Not mine. I can't get drunk." Steve raised his hands in surrender.

"Mmhmm…..Hmmm. I think we are going to need more food than i planned." Lidia said aloud.

"Why's that?"

"Just a feeling." She said as she looked up at the sky.
