A/N: This is going to be a shorter chapter because it's more going to be like a "transition chapter" into the next and final act of this story.
For more details on the direction this story will go in its final act be sure to read the Author's note at the end! I know some of you may skip A/Ns and I'm perfectly okay with that, but it would be nice if you took the time to read the one at the end, thank you and enjoy the story!
Act 2
Chapter 14
Twitch and Sivir didn't say anything on their long walk back to Zaun, what was there to say? Instead they settled with just holding each other's hand, silently glad that everything turned out okay.
Twitch, probably more than Sivir, was afraid something would go wrong as usual. He was surprised, happy but surprised, that he not only managed to take care of Cassandra but also manage to save Sivir's life in the end. It was surprising since the last few times someone he loved was put in danger they always ended up dead, Joseph, Martha, and Maurice, he wasn't able to save them.
This time was different, he saved Sivir. He wouldn't have to go through the pain of losing a loved one again, not this time, which was great because Twitch doesn't know if he could take losing one more person close to him, especially Sivir. If he didn't end up going suicidal again he would probably finally snap and go insane, not saying he was perfectly sane, but far from being totally insane.
Sivir was more glad of two things, one being that that bitch Cass-whatever the fuck her name was being dead, and two that Twitch made it out of that with no injury. Sivir knew she would've probably not been able to do anything against that bullshit shield of hers but still she hated standing in that tree and not being able to do anything.
By the time they reached Zaun the sun was fully up in the sky, at least from what they could tell from the clouds of smoke covering the sky from the factories.
Once they arrived at Sivir's apartment and she shut the door behind here was anything said between the two.
"Well, we're here." Sivir stretched out her bones that ached from the long walk to Zaun.
"Yep…" Twitch absent mindedly said, his thoughts still on everything that just happened not too long ago. Sivir noticed this and walked over to him to try and take his mind away from that in the best way she knew how to.
"Now that we are here we can take a bath, you stink more than usual." Sivir smirked.
"Hey I just got done with one torturous experience, I don't need another one!" Twitch whined.
"Are you sure? I did say we after all."
"What are you…o-ohhh." Twitch blushed from realization on what Sivir was hinting to.
"You still don't want to take a bath?"
"…You know what? I really could use a bath."
A few days later things returned to normal with Sivir and Twitch, Cassandra was pushed out of the couple's minds and they moved on with their lives. Some days they would just stay locked up inside and cuddle on the sofa while watching TV, some days they went out and didn't come back until late at night with a whole day's worth of fun under their belt. No matter where or what they did they always did it together, what made it even better was the lessening of judgmental faces pointed in their direction when they held hands in public. Twitch wouldn't call it acceptance, more like just not caring anymore, it seemed like everyone in Zaun knew now of their odd relationship and gave up on trying to harass them.
They probably learned what happened when you made a comment about them and Sivir heard you, she had to have gotten in a hundred fistfights over their relationship from the beginning to now and each time she won and sent the losers home with nasty bruises and broken noses. This probably also helped make people turn the other cheek to their relationship.
So when they would walk into a restaurant, a movie theater, etc. instead of all eyes looking at them in disgust, confusion, or anger the number lowered to one or two pairs of eyes looking at them. Not that they really cared about being judged, but it was nice being able to go out without getting into a fight with some stranger that didn't approve of their relationship.
Currently it was nighttime, Sivir and Twitch had came back to the apartment after a long day out on the town, Sivir didn't have to throw a punch at a single person this time too.
Sivir had made sure that this day they did as much as they could because as much as she tried pushing it back, she knew she had to talk with Twitch about it.
"Hey Twitch?" Sivir said as they walked into the apartment.
"Yes?"
"Remember what I said about having to go back to Shurima?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I need to go back now, I think I kept Azir waiting for long enough."
"But…I can go, right?" Twitch asked nervously.
"Of course you can, that's why I'm telling you this, we need to get some stuff ready for the trip."
"Like what?"
Sivir shrugged.
"I already have the necessities packed, water, food, and clothes, so basically take anything you want to take with you."
"All I want to take is my crossbow, I already have that with me so I'm ready whenever you are."
"Alright, we have to get up early though tomorrow so we can leave, it's a long trip you know? So let's get some rest."
Twitch stared at the creature in front of him and tilted his head, sure he had seen a horse before but never this close.
He was at a stable with Sivir, Twitch occupied his time by looking at the horses in the stable while Sivir paid for two of them to use on their trip.
"You like that one?" Sivir asked walking up to Twitch who had been staring at a particular horse for awhile.
Twitch nodded, it was indeed a cool horse.
"Good, that one is ours then, let's get going." Sivir was carrying a large knapsack full of water, food, clothes, and other things she had packed into it last night. Twitch on the other hand only had his crossbow, and a satchel full of food he would actually want to eat.
Sivir led the horse out of the stable then climbed on top of it and helped Twitch on top of it.
"Hold on, I like to ride fast!" Sivir cautioned.
Twitch wrapped his arms around Sivir and held on, which was good because she wasn't lying about liking to ride fast. The horse began galloping through the forests outside of Zaun at a alarmingly fast pace that Twitch wasn't used to.
After getting use to the fast speed they were going at, Twitch removed his head from Sivir's back to get a better view of the world as it zoomed past them.
The rodent doesn't ever remember going this fast before in his life, he never rode on a horse before and if he ever was in a automobile he doesn't remember being in it so this was a whole new experience for him.
"Wooooohooooo! HaHaHaHa!" Twitch cried out with glee, Sivir chuckled softly from listening to how much fun it seemed Twitch was having behind her.
The feeling of the wind blowing through his fur was exhilarating and Twitch continued to enjoy himself on his first horse ride ever. Twitch almost felt like he was flying through the forest at the speed they were going.
There were so many new smells that couldn't be found in Zaun, some good and some bad, but even the ones that were bad he happily sniffed as he passed by them just because it was something he hadn't smelled before.
Twitch didn't often leave the beautifully toxic smelling city of Zaun and child-like curiosity overtook him as they put Zaun behind them further and further with each gallop.
That's how the trip went, they would ride throughout the day only stopping to let the horse drink water from a lane or pond then they would continue forward again. At night Twitch would help Sivir set up a tent she taken along for the trip and they would sleep the night away in that tent while the horse was tied to a nearby tree.
After a the first day they began their trip Sivir started riding more slowly than before as to not overwork the horse, Twitch didn't mind this though as he could now truly see the world around him now. After awhile trees turned into vast open plains, then hills, then trees again.
It was a whole new adventure for Twitch, he never even thought about leaving his home Zaun. It was full of familiar and lovely smells, he knew how the city worked, and was comfortable living in the sewers there.
This world outside of Zaun it wasn't full of familiar smells, he didn't know a lot about it, and it was far from comfortable, this was a good thing though. Comfortable for him in Zaun was more just being used to living there, he wasn't comfortable out here only because he didn't know a lot about the rest of the world, this made it more exciting for him though.
The icing on the cake was that Sivir was with him throughout this whole adventure, it probably wouldn't have been as fun to go on this trip without her.
With her knowledge on the rest of the world Sivir was able to answer any questions he asked no matter how big or small they were.
On this trip, Twitch's appreciation for Sivir only grew more and more than humanly possible. If she never entered his life he wouldn't be here right now, he would still be in his "home" in the sewers, alone with nothing good to do with his life.
It wasn't only Sivir though, Twitch took a moment to remember the little girl that started this change in Twitch, Martha.
Martha, if only she was here with them, she didn't deserve that father of hers and she certainly didn't deserve to die at such a young age. She never got to live her life, sadly though her life wasn't probably even her own with her controlling father.
Twitch wished he had acted faster and gotten her out of that place she called home and take her away from all that, she could've been riding on this horse with Sivir and him and they all could have a new life together.
It was a pleasant thought, but he knew that probably wouldn't be how it played out anyway. Things never go the way he wants to, Sivir is the only exception.
If Twitch had his way he would have everyone on that horse with him, Martha, Sivir, Maurice, Joseph, hell, he would even let Norman come too.
Instead he settled with laying his head lovingly on Sivir's shoulder, he couldn't have everyone with him on this journey, but at least one person was still at his side, Sivir.
The road before the two was unpredictable and one full of sharp turns and bumps, they will be able to get past all of those bumps and turns though, Twitch would make sure of that, he promised he would make sure of that.
End of Act 2
A/N: Goodbye Act 2, hello Act 3!
While it probably hasn't been that long, I feel like I've been working on this story forever (not in a bad way though), I remember just starting this story at chapter 1 Act 1. I've made some progress since then, but still I think I have awhile to go before I can call myself a great writer.
Act 3 isn't going to be as emotional (well at least I think so from my vision of it) as Act 2, but it may be for…reasons.
Like I've said before Azir is going to become part of the story, the story isn't going to really focus on his goal to rebuild his empire and all of that, like someone in the comments once suggested to me he's going to be somewhat of Sivir's "Father" if that's a good term for it. He's not really her father (they are related though) but it's going to be in the way he acts towards her and Twitch.
There's also going to be a lot of leaps in Twitch's and Sivir's relationships that I'm not going to spoil.
I have a question for all of you though and I really would want this one answered, we all know now that Sivir and Twitch have started doing…activities with each other now, the question is should Sivir and Twitch have a child?
Now some of you are probably asking how that would be possible, well if you remember from around the beginning of Act 2 I think it was mentioned that Twitch has some human genes in him…so yeah that's the best explanation I can give you as to how a child would be remotely possible. Not a good one, but still a explanation anyway.
Do explanations really matter in a world of a mutant rat, small furry creatures, and magic?
The question is more would you want to see them have a kid than if it is possible though, so leave a review or PM giving your opinion please, because if I don't get any I will just go through with what I want and what I want may not be what the majority of you want. So please just take a few seconds to give your opinion to me, it doesn't have to be a long paragraph as to why you think it should be the way you want it, just a yes or no would be fine.
This story is almost over, I hope you all enjoyed the ride which is this story. It's not like a lot of other League of Legends fanfictions out there and I wasn't expecting a lot of people to like it because of the unusual pairing, but I've actually gotten a lot of good response to this story.
The biggest reason these two are paired is because I feel like a lot of other champions Twitch and Sivir seem neglected and unloved, like the other million times I said it if you try to find a Twitch or Sivir fanfiction you will most likely find short lemons, poorly written stories, or discontinued stories.
If you are still reading this A/N can I ask you another question? It's not as serious or urgent as the first one I asked you, but who do you think I should write a fanfiction about? Take note that it can't be someone that has hundreds of well written stories about them *cough* Ezreal *cough* Riven *cough* Katarina. It's not that I have a problem against those kinds of champions, I just want to give the unpopular champions some love, Trundle or Gnar is a good example of someone you can pick.
This has been a long author's note and for those of you that have read this far thank you very much, I can ramble on sometimes so thank you for dealing with it! I know asking you to answer my questions is a lot but I'll appreciate it if at least some of you took the time to answer one of them!
I'll see you guys in Act 3, and like I say every time, have a great day/night! I really mean it when I say that, no matter how many times I may say that
