"I'm going to kill you!" Tobias roared along with the Guardian behind him! "I'm going to kill you! WOOAARRGGHH!"
"Interesting... Interesting Tobias!" Arlo laughed. "So your darkness was passed down by him..."
"DIE!" He exclaimed as he charged with the Guardian.
Tobias had teleported himself in front of Arlo, he had swiped his Keyblade across! Arlo dodged it but he was barely able to evade the orbs of darkness which the Guardian threw at him!
"Power is the only way to achieve your goals!" Arlo countered. "You might as well follow the same path as I!"
Arlo used his red wings to slash at both of his opponents, but Tobias used the Guardian to block the attack and it seemed unaffected against him. Arlo followed it up with a combo from Chaos Ripper, but then Tobias dismissed the Guardian momentarily to expertly block and parry the Keyblade!
"You cannot save the worlds without me!" Arlo exclaimed. "I know of what is to be! If I perish then all is obliteration!"
"Begone already!"
Arlo jumped high into the air to launch a downward rain of red feathers from his wings. But the Guardian protected him and rendered the attack useless against his actual foe and instead his shadowy other...
When Arlo teleported back on the battlefield, Tobias fronted an attack of his own and slashed at Arlo; however he was able to block it and teleport away on the other side of the platform. Tobias re-summoned the Guardian behind him and he built up the power in front of him to perform what looked like a charging tackle!
Arlo easily dodged the tackle, and then he fired an orb of darkness of his own at his opponent angrily, and it hit its mark!
But through the resulting smoke, Tobias and the Guardian dashed across the battlefield and actually came within inches, face-to-face with Arlo...
"You are dead!"
The Guardian then took it upon himself to grab the red wings of Arlo in its powerful dark fists, one in each hand!
Arlo, for the first time in his actual god-mode, felt pain... "GAHH! LET GO!"
But the Guardian and Tobias felt no mercy for the man before them as the Guardian effectively ripped the wings off of his back and tossed them off of the platform!
Weakened, Arlo finally teleported away to the other side of the battlefield again, now aware of this ultimate dark power that rivaled his!
"This is impossible..." Arlo shook his head. "I saw the future! And saw only ME conquering all which lied ahead! You cannot exist! I tried to make sure of it multiple times! But always... someone stood by... to protect you... but no more! Tobias! Do you favor darkness? Does it sooth you? Will it bring you the answers you want to find?! With a weak heart, you will only discover hate and rage! No true purpose like I!"
Tobias looked over at Artina's body, just laying in the dirt... her suffering ignited his rage, it ignited his tears, it ignited his power!
"I DON'T CARE!" Tobias roared. "As long as you die, I don't care!"
Tobias and the Guardian erupted with dark aura energy, and they both teleported and this time they actually appeared behind Arlo's back!
The man quickly spun around and their Keyblades clashed and clanged against each other! Metal versus metal, darkness versus darkness... over and over... only the strongest will win...
Tobias lurched back with his Keyblade once more and swung downward… Arlo tried to block it with Chaos Ripper, but it shattered into a million pieces and still came forward until it slashed down into his shoulder...
Now in true fear, Arlo teleported to safety across the battlefield to the other side next to Artina's broken body and he raised a hand to the blue-haired maiden.
"Another step... and you won't have a body for the funeral!" Arlo threatened.
This only angered Tobias more and in a flash he traveled in such a great speed that even Arlo didn't notice until it was too late...
Arlo was grabbed by the Guardian which made Tobi's Keyblade all the more easily to pierce his abdomen all the way through...
"GAH! H-how...?" Arlo spluttered. "How... could my-! AHHH!"
Tobias had interrupted his victim and ordered the Guardian to repeat what he did with his wings and rip his arms off!
"GAHHHHHH!" Arlo screamed in pain.
The Guardian's will was done and both arm appendages were torn off as well and tossed off the battlefield... Arlo's body faltered but only the power of Kingdom Hearts kept him alive for now.
Tobias then ordered the Guardian to grab the man across the torso and throw him across the platform they were on...
Arlo's maimed body slid across the dirt and gravel and slowed to a stop as Tobias and the Guardian approached him... Arlo was on his last legs...
"You see the thing about the future... when you look at it, it changes, because you looked at it." Tobias growled. "And from what I see... there is no future for you..."
"...You still don't understand... I have seen the worst of humanity and I know what's to come! I have stop of what is to be! A downpour of death to drench all the worlds! Darkness reaping across the lands after autumnal fallout! The innocent... the innocent, Tobias, trod and bled and gassed and starved and beaten and murdered and enslaved! This is your coming future! These men and women and children of all the worlds are not strong enough to face the monsters and demons of the darkness! They will eat them, Tobias! They will lead you to the slaughter and make mindless hopeless pigs of you all! And they will bury their jaws into your ribs, and they will EAT YOUR HEARTS!" Arlo yelled and pleaded with all of his soul.
"Elder Arlo..." Tobi pitied as he finally dismissed the Guardian...
Then the man looked straight into his eyes... "I am begging you! I raised you for 14 years! You need me, you are my son... and I am your father! You cannot destroy me!"
And then his anger and hate reaffirmed themselves inside him. "No... ...You're not my father. You killed my real father... You caused all of this..." Tobias declared with a shed of another tear. "No...You're just one less monster to worry about..."
"Wait! Tobias!"
"NO!"
Artina had stopped his hand, only she could ever perform such a feat. "You can't destroy him! Please... don't do it..."
Artina was alive... she hugged Tobi from behind to beg him to not continue... "Please... don't…" Artina sobbed as she wrapped her arms across his chest... "Stop..."
The Guardian then reappeared behind Artina and Tobias only to be eviscerated on its own into a dark mist as Artina's blood soaked and tear-stained face continued to cry and plead for Tobias to stop his dark power...

"Just... stop..." Artina held tighter from behind to the boy she knew since childhood. "Please... Tobias..."
"Tobias..."
"Tobi?"
Tobi turned to see Noah and Alysa... they looked pleadingly into his eyes... and they looked almost scared...
The bloodlust and rage finally dissipated as he looked at the scene before him... of what he had done...
"I... I-I can't..." Tobias dismissed his Keyblade and placed his hands over Artina's as he took comfort with them... He did all of this... so that...
"You..." Arlo spoke to them. "...have good friends... Tobias... great friends... Only now do I realize... after so... many... years… I..."
Arlo looked up to the Black Kingdom Hearts he had created... of what he was planning to do... to recruit and revive all fallen Keybladers to rule the worlds against a formidable darkness...
Noah addressed. "Arlo... when you told me... about your plan... and about Xavier... I thought your heart was in the right place and that you had good intentions..."
Arlo laid his head onto the ground, suddenly feeling the energy drained out of him...
Noah continued. "But... you let your vision and your heart be clouded and corrupted by darkness. I know you lost everything... before you lived in Kiraboshi... but you had me and Tobi and a whole village to love... so why then did you throw it all away to find this power...?"
"...I" Arlo weakly responded. "I never wanted anyone to suffer as I had suffered... I wanted to save everyone from the vision I had... I wanted to save people from darkness... But only under the guise of Xavier could I accomplish such a thing... Perhaps... I am not worthy... I did so much wrong to achieve a right that was not even so... Maybe... now I truly understand…"
"What do you mean?" Alysa inquired.
"We are here..." Arlo's eyes were struggling to keep themselves open as his body began to fade away into nothingness... "We are here to connect... to build... to make relationships..."
All of them were startled by this new revelation and it sparked the memory of the old Elder Arlo they always knew and loved that watched over Kiraboshi Village.
"I am reminded... right here before me... how powerful friendship is... how powerful love is..."
Artina held Tobi tighter and even Alysa stepped forth and grabbed Noah's hand as the four of them surrounded him as he continued...
"I was lost... guided by darkness to seek more darkness... but you all saved me... after I caused you all so much despair... Maybe there is a way to reverse..." Then he trailed off...
But before any of them could get another word in, Arlo used the last of his power to launch a beam of energy upward into Kingdom Hearts which upon contact with the beam it turned white and exuberant like it should!
"I choose to believe in all of you to be the protectors of these worlds!" Arlo proclaimed as Kingdom Hearts rained down multiple beams of individual hearts across the land!
"Be what I was not! And I am... sorry..." Arlo apologized as he faded into nothingness... and he was gone...
Tobias, Artina, Noah, and Alysa looked up as they saw Kingdom Hearts disperse among the great big sky... one sky... one destiny...
"HEYYYY!"
The four of them turned to see Maia... followed by Matrix, Kamden and even Michael!
"You're all alive!" Artina grinned with joy.
The eight of them joined together and they got reacquainted, and they discussed the reason of their resurrection.
"How are all of you...?" Tobi was at a loss.
"It makes sense..." Noah answered. "The power Arlo was going to use to revive an army... he instead revived everyone that was lost because of him!"
Michael sighed. "I gotta admit... I didn't think we could pull it off..."
"What do you know? You weren't even with all of us half of the time!" Matrix joked. "So ladies~... OW! Maia! Quit hitting me!"
Maia smirked. "I will if you stopped flirting~"
"This is unbelievable..." Tobi stated. "We won...?"
"Yep!" Kamden gave a thumbs up. "And from death and back we all survived!"
"A real happy ending..." Artina smiled.
Tobias then released himself from Artina's arms and he stepped forward in the circle of friends he had now under the light of the still breaking up of Kingdom Hearts in the Keyblade Graveyard...
"We're going to find others like us..." Tobi declared. "Together, we're going to find people to protect the innocent from the threat Elder Arlo mentioned."
"You really believed him?" Alysa asked wordily.
"If he fought this hard and planned for this long, then it has to be real." Tobias spoke as he put his hand in. "We're going to be added as those who were the salvation of these worlds!"
"Tobi... I'm so proud of you..."
The group all turned to see an old man that appeared to them like a ghost and then he materialized into a solid being before them!
"Dad..."
Sabito was waiting with open arms for his son's embrace...
10 years earlier...
Elder Arlo, Noah, and Tobias were in the church in Kiraboshi Village which held all of the town meetings. The nine-year-olds both spotted the same black bird resting from its journey in an open window, its legs landing on the still top of the framework...
Little Noah questioned. "Is that a crow Elder Arlo?"
Arlo examined the black-feathered bird before them and chuckled. "No Noah, that is a raven, it is a very special bird."
"What's so special about it?" Little Tobi inquired.
"It's very interesting actually; the raven has been a symbol of bad fortune in life... but also good fortune..." He smiled playfully. "We will have to see what our lives have in store for us..."
A/N- Ugh... I can't resist a happy ending. For those of you who stuck around to the end of my OC story, Thank you. I noticed this one wasn't my more popular stories but... meh. At of all of these stories, I've thought about this one the longest for who knows why?
But geez... haha I don't know, we all live the life we live... that doesn't make sense, does it? Maybe.
Anyway, thanks again for all of the views, reviews, favs, follows etc. Really thank you. You guys make this "hobby" worthwhile. :) We all come to this site, and we find common ground interacting with our favorite fictions and stories.
