Holly made it home with 45 minutes to spare before Gail was due to arrive, she took a quick shower and threw on a dressing gown .. Looking in the mirror she wondered what to wear?
"Mmmmm" she groaned biting her lip "casual ? She said to herself.. Gail doesn't really care what Holly wears and Holly knew that .. So she decided on some jeans and a loose fitting shirt .. Deciding to wear a vest underneath knowing how easily tempted Gail is .. Holly laughed to herself while thinking about how quickly Gail's hands wonder .. "Ok Stewart you're good to go"?
Checking the time Holly knew she didn't have time to cook so she sent Gail a quick text to ask what she wanted to eat ?..
"You :) was the reply she received
Holly rolled her eyes about to reply when she received another one
" no need to roll those eyes Lunch box , I was kidding of coarse :) .. I'll eat anything other then tomatoes and eggs ":) you choose x
Holly smiled it was like Gail knew her so well already ... Part of Holly felt nervous about being alone with Gail .. She was still so unsure about the whole thing and worried if they moved to fast there was a good chance she was going to get hurt ..

"Ok losers I'm out"? Gail smiled slapping Dov around the head as he as Chris chilled in the lounge playing Xbox .
"Ow" Dov moaned rubbing his head
"Where you headed"? Chris asked
"No where " was Gail's reply
"Are you hanging out with Holly"? Chloe grinned as she hopped on to the sofa next to her boyfriend
"Greaaaat you're here ... Again " Gail sighed
Chloe laughed Gail's annoyance off "so are you "?
"Go and die somewhere princess" Gail snapped
Chloe laughed loudly "aww Gail that's so cute, have fun and give me all the details later .. Thats if.. Well " the small red head laughed " well if you come home"? She winked
Gail glared at her " I'll be home.. But you and I? ...won't be having girl talk ..ever .. Ok"?
Chris offered Gail a ride, which was mostly silent
"So the Doc huh? Chris asked
"So"? Gail moaned
"Hey I'm not judging .. I like Holly.. She's great" Chris smiled squeezing the blondes shoulder . "What ever makes you happy Gail "
"Thanks" Gail smiled " on the left here "
Saying farewell to Chris, Gail looked up at the big house wondering why Holly would want such a huge place?
Holly heard the bell and quickly checked herself in the mirror, fiddling with her hair " ok " she swallowed .. "Here goes"
"Hey" the Doctor smiled
"Why do you have such a big house"? Gail asked holding out a bottle of expensive wine.
"Hey Holly ? How are you "? Holly teased before she laughed ...
Gail smiled stealing a quick kiss.. "Hi... Why do you have such a big house"?
Holly shook her head opening the door wider offering Gail inside "nice wine" she called out heading into the kitchen"
"Wow" Gail gaped "it's bigger inside" she said looking around at the high ceilings and massive windows " Holly you must to get lost in this house"?
"No" Holly answered handing Gail a full glass of wine .." This house was my grandparents, they left it to me when they died"
"Oh.. Sorry" Gail offered
"It was a long time ago" Holly explained as she sat on the arm of the sofa " I've obviously renovated it since then"
Gail nodded " that's a shit load of books" she pointed to a book case that was the whole length of one wall"
Holly smiled as she watched Gail run her finger along the book shelf "what can I say? I like to read!"
"Well you're kind of a huge nerd so that's obvious"
Gail moved around the lounge taking in the decor, looking at pictures that Holly had around the place ..
"Oh dinner" Holly said jumping up hearing the door bell "be right back"
Gail continued her tour of the lounge when Holly returned holding a bag full of goodies " dinners up" she smiled heading to the kitchen .. Gail followed behind watching as Holly moved around the kitchen grabbing plates and cutlery .
"You wanna eat at the table? Or we can eat on the sofa, either way I'm not bothered"
Gail slowly approached Holly from behind resting her hands on the kitchen unit either side of Holly "something smells amazing" she whispered into Holly's ear just after she breathed her in .
"Gail"? Holly laughed under her breath trying to dish up their food
"What? I was talking about the food" Gail grinned placing a kiss on Holly's neck
Mmmmm sure you were"
Gail moved Holly's hair away from her neck so she could gain better access .." Although you don't smell to bad yourself"
"Gail we are meant to be eating" Holly said trying to shrug the cop off her ..
Gail moved away sulking "fine.. I'm hungry anyways"
"Good" Holly smiled handing her a plate .."table"?
"Table" Gail nodded ..
"So did you get done with those bodies" the cop asked as she took her seat .
Holly sighed "no not quite.. I uh " she swallowed taking a seat Opposite Gail " I just find the whole kid thing hard ya know"?
Gail nodded as she took the fork from her mouth "of coarse ,you're human and it's got to be tough "
"It is but hey, let's not talk about work huh"?
Gail held her glass up before sipping it's contents "you got it , so can we talk about how good you look tonight"? She smiled raising her eyebrows .
Holly wrinkles up her nose" jeans and a old as hell shirt is hot"?
Gail laughed "hey your pretty hot in anything you wear, I particularly like the whole white coat and latex gloves look you rock through out the day"
Holly giggled trying to swallow her food " Gail really"?
"What can I say? I'm a sucker for nerds" the blonde laughed
Holly placed her fork down picking up her wine glass "can I ask you something"? I mean you don't have to answer.. and I know I keep saying I'm over it but I'm .. Well I'm ..
Gail licked her lips " you wanna know why I slipped out that morning at camp don't you?" Gail interrupted
Holly nodded " I mean you don't have to answer"
Gail used the napkin to wipe her mouth before screwing it up and throwing it on the table " I wish I had a good reason for it" she explained "I know now that I wish I didn't , that I wished I stayed and we parted on better terms because .. Well.. I really enjoyed that weekend hanging out with you" Gail sighed heavily fiddling with her glass "Holly I'm a jerk, and I do and say things I shouldn't, things I know I shouldn't but I do it anyways.. I've always known that I .. Well that I wasn't completely straight I uh .. I knew as soon as I saw you that I was attracted to you .. Going to bed with you felt completely natural, sex with you felt right it felt.. Well good " Gail laughs as does Holly "but when I woke up and saw you sleeping there I freaked out, I wasn't sure what to do "
"You didn't have to do anything" Holly said
"I know that" Gail smiled shaking her head " now I know that but in that moment , she shakes her head again " in that moment I just froze, I felt nervous and scared "
"Of what "? Holly frowned
Gail looked directly at her for the first time since the conversation began "of myself "
Holly nodded slowly "and now"?
Gail pushed her cheek out with her tongue and smirked "now? .. Now I wish I could go back to that night and not run"
"You sure it's not because I showed up at the station "? Holly teased
Gail rolled her eyes shaking her head " Hey, I didn't just walk out on you .. I took down the registration of the car, the car that I later found out was that grumpy old guy you showed up with "
Holly frowned
" I knew I would want to see you again so I took the registration ..Gail continued" I thought I could look you up, instead karma kicked me in the nuts and it turned out to not be your car"
Holly laughed "well I can honestly say that will teach you and you don't have nuts Gail"
"Good job I don't or I wouldn't be sat here I'm sure " the blonde joked
Holly smiled shaking her head " just eat your food!"
The evening went by easily for the both of them, their conversation flowed effortlessly with Gail teasing Holly and Holly throwing some remark straight back at her " so it's getting late" Holly announced making Gail straighten in her seat "oh .. Uh ok.. I'll uh ... Go I guess "
Holly smiled " I didn't mean for you to leave Gail, I was actually gonna say maybe we should quit the alcohol and settle for some tea"?
"Tea? .. Uh yeah I can do tea" the blonde smiled getting up to take her wine glass into the kitchen ...
For the first time that night Gail felt nervous, her hands felt sweaty and her mouth dry ..
"You ok"? Holly frowns
Gail nodded "yeah .. I uh .. I'm ok, I'm enjoying being here"
Holly smiled " I like you being here too"
Gail blushed , with her skin being so pale it was near on impossible to hide the redness that burned across her cheeks " so uh .. Tea"? She smiled biting her lip .. Holly witnessing the bite came undone .. She gave in, walking over to Gail squeezing herself in between the cops legs , wrapping her arms around her neck " suddenly I don't feel like tea" she smiled as she placed a warm kiss on Gail's lips ... Holly felt amazing, the taste of wine on her lips caused Gail to lean in closer deepening the kiss.. Holly felt a rush of excitement as she felt Gail's tongue scraped the bottom of her lip " are you sure"? Gail asked slightly out of breath .
"Mmmmmmm" Holly groaned with a nod pushing her body flush with the blondes .. Gail wasted no time in pushing Holly back towards the stairs " I take it your rooms that way"?
Holly shook her head "forget the bedroom " she giggled as she pushed Gail on to the couch .
As Holly leaned down on to Gail she slowly ran her hand up her rib cage causing the blonde she shudder " nervous officer" Holly smirked as she ran soft kisses along the blondes neck ... " well my alcohol intake is a lot less this time round" Gail laughed ..
"We can slow it down if you want"? Holly asked with a concerned look on her face .
"Slow it down? .. Hell no" Gail smiled pulling Holly back into a deep and passionate kiss... " I want you " she added as she lifted Holly's shirt enough to let her know she wants the Doctor naked ..
Their love making went on through out the night with Holly insisting they took it to her bedroom .. As the lay together Gail runs her fingers up and down Holly's spine " you have the most silkiest skin " Gail observes " I mean like really silky "
Holly lay on her front just watching Gail ... " promise me something"?
Gail frowned flattening her hand on the small of Holly's back ..."what's that"?
Holly swallowed before she licked her bottom lip " promise me I won't wake up in the morning alone"
Gail lifted her hand to run it through Holly's hair " I promise .. She smiled kissing Holly's temple " that I will be here when you wake up"
Holly nestled her face into the pillow before looking back at Gail " thank you ... Now go back to stroking my back "
"Ooooooh you like that huh?.. It is a nerd thing"? Gail teased
"No .. It's a keep it up and I may just repay you in kind " Holly winked
A smiled spread across Gail's face even reaching her eyes " yes ma'am ...
