A/N: I tried my best to keep my word and have this up before the week was over. I really hope you guys like this chapter. Leave reviews. They will remind me that adults exist outside of the kiddie world I'm about to jump in.

Chapter 21: The party

They had all spent the day getting ready for Harrison's party. He's actual birthday wasn't until the next day, so he was fine with their attention not being completely on him. Kasey checked in on the club and party planners she had hired to make sure everything was going according to schedule, and that there would be enough liquor since she was paying for an open bar. Harrison called to make sure the strippers he insisted on having would be there. However, Kasey made him restrict them to the upstairs area of the club. And, he wasn't allowed to go up there until he had pointed out the girl who was trying to swindle money out of him. Talk of the party had extended beyond the football community. Olivia had heard it mentioned on the radio a couple of times. So, she knew it would be packed. She just wasn't sure Harrison's blackmailer would show. Once they got there, Olivia wasn't even sure if Harrison would be able to spot her, there were so many people there. But, as people started to settle down in booths and on couches, and a lot of the men found their way upstairs to the strippers, there was actually room to move around, and see who was in attendance.

Olivia came to the party with Edison. She didn't want to, but he started whining and complaining that they hadn't been spending any time together. Olivia decided she would go with him, but wouldn't spend any time with him, once they were there. However, he refused to leave her side. Even when she was with Kasey. He was smothering her, and it was almost unbearable. The only escape she had was the bathroom. And if she went in there one more time he was going to swear she was sick. If she had known that he was going to be all over her, she never would have agreed to come with him. Nor would she have asked Fitz to come. But, those days they had spent together and meeting his mom had made her forget that Edison and Mellie existed. Foolishly, she thought they would be able to spend some time together, and maybe even dance together at least once.

She looked over and saw Fitz standing alone, watching her. Their eyes met and she knew that he needed her as much as she needed him. As far as she knew, Mellie wasn't there. Olivia was sure Harrison's party was beneath her. So, she just needed to get rid of Edison. If only for a minute. If she could just have a minute alone with Fitz.

"Edison," she said, turning to him. "Can you go get me a glass of wine?"

"Sure."

/

Fitz had been staring at Olivia all night, trying to wait for a moment when she was alone. It was torture being in the same room with her, and not being able to be with her. He wanted to wrap his arms around her, and tell the world that she was with him. But, she was with Edison, and he was refusing to leave her side. She was laughing and talking, appearing to have a good time. But, Fitz knew she was not happy. She wanted to be with him as much as he wanted to be with her. Edison finally left her side, and Fitz started making his way to her. At that moment, Mellie waltzed in with her camera crew. Fitz stopped in his tracks.

Mellie sauntered over to Fitz. "Fitzgerald, honey." She reached up and kissed him on the lips. Fitz tried to keep from frowning, but he was sure that his displeasure was written all over his face. He glanced over at Olivia, and she was visibly upset.

"I'm sorry," Fitz mouthed to Olivia. He leaned down and whispered in Mellie's ear. "Get that damn camera crew out of here."

She got in his space, placing his hands on his chest, she whispered in his ear. "No. And, there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Now, smile for the camera."

She turned around and plastered a fake smile on her face and grabbed his hand. Fitz dropped her hand, and walked away. He made his way to Olivia.

"Hi," he said.

She smiled. "Hi."

"I've been wanting to get over here all night. Do you want to dance?" Mellie and her camera crew be damned.

She turned her body, obviously to keep her face off of the camera that was now pointing at them. "Is this bad boy Fitz trying to come out and play?"

"I'm tired of this charade, Liv. I just want to be with you."

"I want to be with you, too. You know that. But, not like this. That camera is bound to catch us together. In fact, it's pointing over here, now."

"So?"

"I don't need people trying to figure out who I am. It's one thing to have the football community interested in my true identity. But, a reality TV audience would figure it out in no time. We can't."

She had yet to look at him, and he needed her to.

He sighed. "Liv. Look at-"

"Don't ask me to look at you, because I can't. Go back over there with her, Fitz." She sounded so sad and defeated. He hated it. "Cyrus used to introduce me as his goddaughter, if she asks who I am."

He slumped his shoulders. "Fine."

"There's Edison," she said, nodding in his direction as he was approaching them. "You can take him over there and introduce him to Mellie. Make her think you're trying to help her out."

"I hate this," he said.

"Me too," she admitted.

"Grant," Edison said. "How you doing?"

"Great," Fitz said.

Edison gave Olivia her glass of wine. "Here you go, Babe."

"Thank you."

"Edison, if you don't mind, I want to introduce you to my fiancée," Fitz said.

"Yeah. Sure," Edison said.

"I have to warn you," Fitz said. "She's got her camera crew for her show."

"I make my living in front of a camera," Edison said as he reached for Olivia's hand. Olivia pulled away.

"What's wrong," Edison asked.

"I don't want to be on TV. In fact, I shouldn't be on TV."

"Okay," he said.

Fitz walked over to Mellie who was seething with anger. "What the hell was that?" She whispered. "Is that your Livvie?" She spat.

"That's Cyrus goddaughter," he whispered. "And, I want to introduce you to her fiancé. It can only help to have him on your show." He straightened up and said. "Mellie, this is Edison Davis. Edison, this is my fiancée, Melody Adkins. We all call her Mellie."

"It's nice to meet you," Mellie said, as she shook his hand. "Edison, I have to say, I love your show. You should have Fitz on there one day."

Fitz shook his head at her. She was something else. But, he had to admit it, the girl had a knack for PR. If she wasn't such a daddy's girl, she could actually put her degree to use.

"We've tried," Edison said. And, it was true. Cyrus had told him many times that the people from First Down wanted him on their show. But, he declined every time.

"But your fiancé here is not all that fond of the press or interviews," Edison said. "Maybe you can give him that extra little push."

"Of course I can," Mellie giggled, and kissed Fitz on the cheek.

"He did tell me that you are the reason he's playing better," Edison said.

"He did," Mellie exclaimed. Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Fitzgerald, you're so sweet," she said, wrapping her arms around him.

Fitz forced himself to smile at her. She had never inspired him to do anything in life. And, he hated that she was getting credit that he had given to Olivia. At least he knew the truth. And, he had to make sure Olivia still knew the truth.

He looked over at the booth she had been sitting at, but he didn't see her. Moments later, Edison turned to look for her. "Where did she go?" He looked around, and said. "If you will excuse me, I need to go find my fiancée."

"Why didn't you bring her over? I would love to meet her."

"She's camera shy," Edison said.

"Oh. Perhaps another time," Mellie said.

"Yeah. Well, it was nice meeting you," Edison said. "Work on Grant for me."

"Of course I will." Mellie turned to Fitz. "How do you know him? His show is the number one sports show on TV."

"Like I said, his fiancée is Cyrus's goddaughter. I figured it couldn't hurt to have you seen with him on the show."

"Thank you, Fitz," she said, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Does this mean you've changed your mind about the show?"

"No, Mellie. I'm not going to be featured. What you get tonight is it," he told her. "Although, it's rude as hell to show up at someone else's party with a camera crew."

/

"Kasey, she showed up with a damn camera crew," Olivia said in outrage. "I can't believe it."

"Privileged, rude ass. Don't worry I got this." She didn't have time for Mellie and her shenanigans with her delusional ass. Why couldn't she see that Fitz didn't want her?

Kasey walked over to Mellie. "Hi. Melody Adkins?"

"Yes. And, you are?"

"The person throwing this party. And, your camera crew has to go. No one in here signed contracts to be on your TV show. It would seem that you would know that you have to have permission of every single person in attendance in order to film them. And, since it was never mentioned to any of the guests that a camera would be here, you have to leave."

"But-"

"No buts. Just take your crew and leave. Or you could be escorted out. Or you can stay and be sued by everyone here. I'm sure daddy can handle it. But, does he want to?"

"Fine," Mellie shot at her.

"And just to be clear," Kasey continued. "The footage that you got tonight, better not make it to any kind of media platform. If it does, you will be hearing from me."

"You? Not your lawyer?" Kasey saw a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"Honey, I am the lawyer. And, trust me, that is not a call you want to get."

Mellie huffed and turned to walk away. "Fitzgerald, are you coming?"

He shook his head. "No."

"What?" She exclaimed.

"I didn't come with you. I'm not leaving with you. And, no one told you to bring your camera crew."

She huffed and walked away in a fury.

Kasey could tell Mellie wanted to scream. She was beyond furious. And, she found it hilarious.

"Remind me never to get on your bad side," Fitz told her.

"Keep making my cousin happy and you won't."

"You got it. Where is she by the way?"

"Hiding from Edison. And you."

"What? Me? Why?"

"Slow down, Fitz. You can't afford to get reckless now," Kasey told him.

He sighed. "Okay. But, I just need a minute with her. If I could just get a minute where it's just the two of us."

"I'll see what I can do," Kasey said.

Kasey looked up and saw that one of Edison's girlfriends or whatever he considered her to be had made it. And, she was making her way to him. She watched her walk up to him and wrap her arms around him. He jumped away from her, and quickly scanned the room, obviously looking for Olivia. His eyes met Kasey's. And he clearly said, "Oh shit." She laughed to herself as she watched him frantically make his way to her.

"Kasey, I promise that was not what it looked like," he said.

"What are you talking about?" She played dumb.

"That girl."

"What girl?" She was enjoying watching him squirm.

"Never mind," he said. He looked at Fitz. "Do you know each other?"

"No," Kasey said.

"What are you doing over here, then?"

"Getting rid of that camera crew. Not that it's any of your business. Why am I even explaining myself to you," she said as she walked off.

She walked over to Olivia who she had left in a booth in a corner, hiding from the men in her life. She had her head in her hands, looking pitiful. Kasey slid in the booth with her.

"Cheer up. This is supposed to be a party."

Olivia looked up and tried to smile. "You're right."

"Besides, I got rid of the camera crew and Mellie."

"Really?" Olivia exclaimed.

"Yes. And, Loverboy said he needs a minute with you. Give me some time, and I can probably come up with a way to distract Boring for a minute or two."

"Kasey, I love you," Olivia said, hugging her.

"Yeah. Yeah," Kasey teased as her cell phone buzzed. She had a text from Harrison. The one she had been waiting all night for.

Harrison: She's at the bar in the black dress with the cuts. Blond hair.

Kasey looked over and saw a girl at the bar in a black dress with slits down the sleeves, and the hips and thighs. And, black Suede heels with silver studs.

Kasey: Got her.

Harrison: Can I please go now? There are strippers upstairs who need my money.

Kasey: You are such a perv. If you see Tom up there, let me know.

Harrison: If I see Tom up there, I'm flinging his ass over the balcony.

Kasey: That'll work too.

Kasey nudged Olivia. "She's right there," she said, nodding in the girl's direction.

Olivia followed Kasey's gaze. "I can't believe she actually showed up."

"I told you she would come."

"Where's Abby?" Olivia asked. They were supposed to look like a group of girlfriends out for the night. They figured the three of them together would keep them from looking suspicious.

"Over there flirting with that nerd," Kasey said, nodding in her direction.

Olivia looked, and laughed. "That's David Rosen. He's a well-known entertainment lawyer. He represents a lot of athletes."

"He still looks like a nerd," Kasey said. "And, so out of place, here."

"You're right. He is," Olivia agreed.

"I'll go get her. You got slutty tramp?"

"Yeah."

When Kasey got back, the girl was gone. "Where did she go?"

"Bathroom."

"Perfect." Kasey said. "Let's go." Kasey grabbed a glass of red wine off of the table. "Let's go."

They walked towards the hall where the bathroom was. When the girl emerged from the bathroom, Kasey started laughing loudly, and bumped into her, purposefully spilling her wine all over her shoes. The girl jumped back with a horrified look on her face.

"I'm so sorry," Kasey exclaimed.

"Looks like someone had too much to drink," Abby said.

"I'm sorry," Kasey apologized again. "Let me make it up to you. I can buy you another pair of shoes," she offered.

"That's not really necessary."

"And, you should," Abby exclaimed. "Those are Jimmy Choos."

Kasey looked at her shoes again. They were knockoffs, but Kasey knew the prospect of owning an actual pair would get her to agree. "I feel horrible. I have to buy you another pair. You probably hate me. Give me your name and address, and I'll order you a pair right now." Kasey pulled out her phone, and pulled up the shoes. "That's them right there, right. You're about a size eight," Kasey looking at her feet. She simply nodded. "I just need your name and address," Kasey said.

"Amanda Tanner," she replied quietly, and gave Kasey her address.

"Again, Amanda, I am so sorry," Kasey said. "But, you should have your new shoes one day next week."

"Thank you," she said.

"It was the least I could do," Kasey said, and they watched her walk off.

"Did you text Huck?" Kasey asked Olivia.

"Yeah. He said he's on it."

"Are you going to cancel that order?" Abby asked.

"Nah," Kasey said, looking at her. "She can at least have some nice shoes with her lying ass. It's probably all she'll own when I get through with her anyway. Coming for my little brother."

/

Olivia was sitting at the bar, waiting on her drink, and discreetly looking at Fitz. She had managed to get away from Edison. But, he was right there talking to Fitz. If he wasn't with her, he was with Fitz. Olivia wondered if he suspected anything was going on between them. But, she remembered that Edison didn't really have any friends. Other than her, there was no one. He had his family, but no friends. So, he was probably hoping for a friendship with Fitz. And, Fitz introducing him to Mellie probably made him think they would end up being drinking buddies or something. She thanked the bartender for her wine when she felt someone sit down next to her.

"You do know that he's engaged, right?" He asked as he leaned close to her.

She turned around. "Are you talking to me?"

"Yes. Fitzgerald Grant. He's engaged."

"Is there a particular reason why you're telling me that?"

"Well, I saw you staring at him. I figured I would save you some heartache. He's engaged, and he doesn't cheat. However, I am single," he said.

"Well, that's nice to know. And, you are?"

"Jake Ballard," he said, extending his hand. Olivia knew who he was. He had been Fitz's backup for a couple of years. He played a couple of games the season before when Fitz had gotten injured, but he was beyond terrible. It was obvious that in college they tailored plays to his ability. But, the pros were different, and, he didn't fit. He had been dropped to third string behind a recent college graduate.

"Jake, I thank you for that information. But, the man I'm looking at is the guy Fitzgerald Grant is talking to. Well, was talking to," she said, as she looked up and noticed that Edison wasn't with Fitz anymore. "Anyway, I was looking at my fiancé, she said, holding her left hand up.

"As you should have been," Edison said as he walked up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her waist.

She immediately tensed up. Acknowledging him as her fiancé, and lying and saying that she was looking at him was one thing. But, she did not want him to touch her. Edison attributed it to him sneaking up on her.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," he said.

"It's okay," she said.

"Everything okay?" He asked, looking from her to Jake.

"Yeah. I just met a new friend. Honey, this is Jake."

"Hi Jake," Edison said.

"I didn't know she was your fiancée. I'm sorry."

"It's cool," Edison said. "It comes with being engaged to a beautiful woman. I feel like I should get a neon sign that says mine," he joked.

Olivia rolled her eyes.

"I'm just going to go, then," Jake said, getting up.

"It was nice meeting you," Olivia said as he walked away.

Edison kissed her neck, and she jerked away from him. "Edison, please, we're in public," she said, wiping her hand over the spot where he had kissed her as if she could wipe it off.

"Come home with me tonight," he whispered.

"What?"

"Come home with me. I know Kasey's here, but she's been here for three weeks or so. You aren't tired of each other yet? Besides, she might want to go home with that guy she's been kissing on all night. I miss you."

Olivia felt her heart breaking. She didn't want to go home with him. She wanted to go home with Fitz. Why was life so damn unfair? Before she knew it, there was a single tear running down her cheek. She wiped it away before Edison could see it. There was no way she could get out of this. She was going to have to go home with Edison. It felt like she was cheating on Fitz.

"Excuse me." Kasey walked up and pulled her away.

"Kasey, we were kind of in the middle of something," Edison said.

"I don't care," she said as they walked away.

"Thanks," Olivia said.

"You looked like you needed rescuing. What's going on?"

"He wants me to go home with him tonight."

"Tell him to meet you at your place. But, you're riding with me. Just trust me," Kasey said, before Olivia could even protest.

"Okay."

"Hold up," Kasey said. She stopped and turned to a young girl sitting on the other side of the bar. "Excuse me. How old are you?"

"I promise I'm twenty-one," she said, opening her clutch to retrieve her ID.

"Okay," Kasey said. "You just look young. Are you a student?"

"Yeah."

"What are you studying?" Olivia asked her.

"Broadcasting."

"Really? My fiancé is in broadcasting."

"You should introduce them," Kasey said. "There's nothing wrong with a little networking."

"You're right," Olivia said. "What's your name?"

"Stephanie Smith."

"Come on, Stephanie. I'll introduce you."

Olivia led Stephanie over to Edison who was still sitting at the bar, nursing a drink. "Edison," she said, touching his back. He turned around, and Olivia could have sworn she saw fear in his eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked him.

"Yeah."

"Kasey and I met this young lady and she's a student, studying broadcasting. I told her I would introduce her to you."

"We know each other," Stephanie said.

"You do?" Olivia raised her eyebrows as Edison gulped down the rest of his drink.

"Stephanie's an intern at the station," Edison said.

"Oh."

"However, I did not know that Edison was engaged," she said with an accusatory tone. If Olivia actually cared about Edison she would have been concerned. However, she just shrugged her shoulders and assumed Edison didn't talk about her at work.

"Well, since you two know each other already, why don't you chat," Kasey said. "Excuse us for a moment," she said, pulling Olivia away. "This is your minute," she told Olivia.

"What?"

"Your minute with Fitz. This is it. I'll handle Edison."

"Thanks Kasey," Olivia said.

/

Fitz was tired of just looking at Olivia. She was his girl. He should be able to be with her. He was getting more and more frustrated with each passing minute. He decided it would be best if he just left. He knew if he didn't, it would only be a matter of time before he lost his mind, and grabbed her and kissed her right in front of Edison. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He smiled when he saw a message from Olivia asking him to meet her out back.

He slipped out the back door. A few moments later, he saw her walking towards him. He walked over to her, and wrapped his arms around her.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi."

"Not being with you is torture," he said.

"I know. But, let's not talk about it."

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Nothing," she said, reaching up to kiss him. Their lips met and his body immediately relaxed. All the tension he had been feeling, his annoyance with Mellie. The anger of watching her with Edison, it all faded away. His tongue found its way into her mouth, and what started out as a slow, reassuring kiss of love quickly turned into a passionate, lust filled kiss. Before he knew it, Fitz had her backed against the wall with his hands roaming up her dress. Just as his hands reached her panties, she put a hand on him stopping him. She broke their kiss, and rested her forehead on his chest as she tried to get her breathing under control.

"Not out here."

"I know. I'm sorry." He glided his hands down her body, trying to smooth out her dress.

"I should get back inside."

"I'm going to go ahead and go," he said.

She looked up at him.

"I can't stand to see you with him, anymore. It's killing me."

She nodded her head in understanding. She cradled his face in her hands, and pulled him down for a soft kiss. "I love you Livvie," he whispered against his lips. He opened the back door for her, and she slipped inside.

/

When she got back inside Olivia went to the bathroom to freshen up and reapply her lipstick. She went back out and let Kasey, Abby, and Edison know that she was ready to go. This had been by far one of the worst parties she had ever attended in her life. And, the night was bound to get worse, since she had to go home with Edison. At least she got a bit of a reprieve on the way home. As Kasey had instructed, she asked Edison to meet her at her place, and she would ride with Kasey. When they got in the car, Kasey opened the glove compartment and retrieved a manila folder. She gave it to Olivia.

"What's this?" She asked.

"Your ticket out."

Kasey heard Olivia gasp when she opened the folder. "He's cheating?"

"Yeah."

"He's cheating," she exclaimed, and started laughing. "He's cheating."

"Liv?"

"You know he won't care that I know." She was suddenly very serious again.

"Keep looking," Kasey said.

Olivia used the light from her phone to get a better view. "Wait a minute. That's the girl from the party. The intern."

"They're all interns. Or, have been interns, and are now working there. Liv, we've got enough to bury him. He cannot kill your career, unless he's ready to kill his own."

Olivia was quiet for a moment. Then, she threw her arms around Kasey and hugged her. "I love you so much. You are the best."

"Okay. Okay." Kasey said, prying her arms from around her neck. "I'm trying to drive, and I'm a little bit tipsy. So, you're going to have to love me later."

"I'm sorry," she apologized. "How did you get all of this?"

"Abby and Huck."

"Abby knows?"

"You know she hates Edison. All I had to do was ask her to help me find some dirt on him."

"Wow. I owe you guys."

"No. You don't. There's more," Kasey said.

"What more could there be?"

"There's a baby," she said, quietly.

"What?" Olivia exclaimed. "He's got a baby with one of them?"

"Go to the very back of the folder," Kasey told her.

Olivia moved the other pictures and documents out of the way until she got to the picture of Edison and the baby.

"Oh, that poor girl," Olivia exclaimed. "Edison is scum. I can't believe I was about to marry him. He's the worst."

"Yeah. But, at least if we have to use any of this, and it comes down to his word against theirs, there's DNA proof. He can't get out of this."

"You're right."

"So, what are you going to do?" Kasey wanted to know.

"I'm breaking up with him."

"That's what I thought." She got her phone and dialed a number. "Meet us there," she said.

"Who was that?" Olivia wanted to know.

"Huck. He's meeting us at your place."

"Why?"

"Because you're breaking up with Edison. Any man who will blackmail you to stay with him is crazy. That fool might try to kidnap you. Huck and Tom will be there with me to make sure he doesn't try anything crazy."

"Like I said, you're the best."

When they got to her apartment, Olivia went in her bedroom where Edison was waiting, and threw the folder on the bed.

"What's that?" He asked.

"Open it," she said.

He opened it, and she watched as the color drained from his face. "Liv," he said, not looking at her. "I can explain."

"No, you can't," she said. "Even if you could, I don't want to hear it."

"Liv, please. Just tell me what I need to do," he begged.

"Get your shit and go," she fired.

He jerked his head, finally looking at her. "What? You don't mean that."

"Oh, but I do. I want you gone," she told him.

"Liv, those girls don't mean anything to me."

"What about your son? Does he mean anything to you?"

"What?" He exclaimed.

Olivia pulled out the picture of him with his son and threw it on the bed.

"Where did you get all of this from?"

"Does it matter?"

"Liv, we can work this out."

"I don't want to work it out. I haven't wanted to be with you in years. And, you know that," her voice started rising. That angered her more than anything. "You knew that, and you forced me to stay in this damn relationship with you while you were cheating the whole damn time. I want you to get your shit, and get the hell out of my house," she yelled.

His look changed from hurt and remorseful to anger. "Have you forgotten that I can destroy you?"

"Only if you plan to destroy yourself. All of these girls are interns. Or former interns who now work at the station with you. And, thanks to this little boy right here, we have DNA proof and a timestamp of the time his mother was an intern. So, it would be a murder-suicide. To kill my career, you have to kill your own," she smiled and folded her arms across her chest. Checkmate.

"So, I'm supposed to tell my family that I have a son with some tramp."

"Well, you do. And, I don't think they're tramps. They were just naive little girls who fell for your nice guy charm, like I did," she said. "Your family will love him regardless." And, she knew that was the truth. Edison might be a condescending bastard, but his family was very nice and welcoming. They were truly the best thing about him.

"My family loves you. They want us to get married and start a family. My father is a governor," he exclaimed. "I'm one of the top sports journalists in the country. Those girls are beneath me. You have a respectable career. Liv, don't do this to me," he begged.

"You did this to yourself."

"I love you." He was reaching.

"No, you don't."

"Yes, I do. And, I'm not leaving," he said.

"You are," she replied quietly.

He sat on the bed defiantly, daring her to force him.

"Huck," she called.

Huck rushed in the room. "Yeah?"

"Edison needs to be escorted out," she said, staring directly at Edison.

Kasey stepped in the room. "Edison, before you leave, I want to make sure you know that if Liv's identity ever comes out, regardless of who is behind it, I will destroy you. In case you were thinking of having a family member or friend do your dirty work."

Edison stood up and grabbed his coat.

Olivia held out her hand. "My key."

He took her key off of his key ring and placed it in her hand.

"Wait," she said. She took the engagement ring off and held it out to him. It took him a couple of seconds for him to open his hand. "I'll send you your things," she told him.

"Are you okay?" Kasey asked her after Edison left.

"I feel so relieved. You have no idea. I'm kind of upset that he kept me in this relationship for two years. But, Kasey, I'm finally free. Thank you." She hugged her. "I love you. I love you. I love you," she said, kissing her over and over again on her cheek.

Kasey smiled and hugged her cousin back. "I love you too, Liv. Now, go be happy. Or as happy as you can be."

Huck came back in. "He's gone," he said. "I watched him drive off. And, I let your security guy know that he is never allowed back in here."

"Thank you, Huck," Olivia said.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Kasey asked.

"I'm fine. Go spend the rest of your night with Tom," Olivia instructed.

"I got a lot of making up to do," Kasey admitted. "I barely saw him tonight."

"Go be with him. I'm fine. I'm free," she exclaimed.

"Okay," Kasey said. "Hey Handsome, are you ready to go?'

"Ready when you are Gorgeous," Tom replied.

"I'm okay, Huck," Olivia assured him.

"Okay," he said.

After everyone left, Olivia sat on the couch and took in everything that had happened. In a matter of minutes, her life had taken and unsuspecting turn. For eight years Edison had been a fixture in her life. All of those years hadn't been bad. It was just the last three. He went from being the good guy to just plain evil in a matter of minutes. Now, he was gone. And, she wasn't happy about it. She was elated. She jumped up and did a cartwheel. She hadn't did that since she was a child, and it was evident. She laughed as she fell on the floor. She was free. She saw her phone on the table. She picked it up and called Fitz.

"Hi," he answered.

"Hi," she replied.

"Are you okay?"

"No. Can you come over?" She asked.

"Liv, what's wrong?" He wanted to know. His voice was full of concern.

"I need you right now," she told him.

"I'm on my way," he said.

Chapter 22 Sneak Peak

Fitz raced over to Olivia's hoping she was okay. She didn't sound like herself on the phone, and he got the feeling that something was wrong. He rung her doorbell, and waited impatiently for her to open. He kept thinking that something had happened. He was about to ring the doorbell again when the door opened. He looked at her, and his mouth dropped open. She was leaning against the door wearing his jersey and a pair of the tallest heels he had probably seen in his life. Her hair was tousled. Words could not describe how sexy she looked.

"Hi." She placed a finger in her mouth, and gave him a come hither look.

Fitz swallowed loudly. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
