A/N: Sorry for this wait. Like I've said, I am taking an inline college class this year and that takes up a lot of my time. But I hope you enjoy this chapter. I'm also clearing up that I won't be following the plot the seasons go through since I started this before Book 2 started. Just wanted to clear that up in case anyone was confused about that. By the way, I've read my earlier works of this story and the first one, and I honestly wish I had a time machine so that I can slap my eighth grade self for writing like that.

"Iroh, what is this?" Jade asked once again, crossing her arms as she stared at the girl who was literally hanging on his arm.
"Jade, this is Jian. That firebender whom I told you about. She wanted to meet you." Iroh said, making Jian let go of his arm and stood in front of Jade.
"Hello Jade. Iroh has told me so much about you." Jian said, making Jade raise an eyebrow.
"Did he now?" Jade asked sarcastically.
"Yes, he did." Jian said, holding her hand out for her to shake.
As Jade extended a hand, she got a good look on Jian. She had black shoulder length hair, amber eyes, and looked familiar.
"I don't mean to be rude, but you look like someone I used to go to school with. Do you know NiiNii?" Jade asked as she slowly shook her hand.
"NiiNii is my half-sister. Her mother married my father when I was six and they had her." Jian said, taking her hand out of Jade's grip.
"Interesting." Jade mumbled to herself.
"Anyway, Jian and I should be going. We have an early training session in the morning. I brought her by because she wanted to meet you. I'll see you later love." Iroh said, stepping up to Jade, lifted her chin up and gave her a light kiss.
"Bye." Jade mumbled, Iroh letting her chin go as he and Jian left.
Forgetting that Bolin was there until he stepped up behind her, she turned and sighed, running her hand through her hair.
"Well, that was interesting." Bolin said, trying to ease the awkwardness out of the air.
"Yeah, interesting. Let's leave it at that." Jade said as they turned to head up to the temple, Bolin lacing their hands together as Jade became lost in thought.
Iroh was lying. She didn't want to meet me. She wanted to compare herself to me. She thought to herself as her and Bolin entered the temple.
oOo
"I thought you said you broke up with her." Jian yelled at Iroh when they were a few good feet away from Jade.
"I haven't gotten around to that. But I will soon." Iroh reassured her, running his hand through her hair as they boarded the ship that brought them there.
"You better. I can't bear the thought of sharing you." Jian said, wrapping her arms around her neck and gave him a light kiss.
"I will don't worry." Iroh whispered to her as they left Air Temple Island.
Jade was in her room that night, putting away clothes she was supposed to pack but didn't since she was being allowed to stay at home.
When she finished, she sat in bed, thinking about the offer of going back to the modern world to visit her old life.
Should I go? I'm not so sure. But I have to decide in two days that way the sentries can start up the portal. I'm so confused. She thought to herself when a knock came on her door.
"Come in." She yelled, not bothering to check who it was.
"HiJade, can I talk to you real quick?" Korra asked as she entered her room, closing the door back up as she walked to the bed.
"Go ahead."
Korra took a breath, "I think Iroh is cheating on you. I went on his ship because I wanted to thank him for helping us in defeating Amon and saw him with another girl. I think her name was Lian?"
"Jian."
"Yeah. I'm sorry Jade." Korra said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"It's alright. I already knew. He's been lying to me for a while now. But I plan on getting back at him." Jade said, her signature Beifong smirk that she inherited came across her face.
"Ok then. Let me know if you need my help." Korra said, leaving the room and Jade alone once again.
"Bye Korra," Jade said as she stood from the bed, going to her bookcase and pulled out a book, reading for the rest of the night until she fell asleep.
"Jade." A whisper came across her ear, making her mumble and roll over.
"Jade." It came again, making Jade lift her pillow and cover her head, snoring lightly.
"Well for spirits sake." A louder voice came over, and the next thing that happened, Jade was woken up by a cold splash of water on her face and fell out of bed.
A chuckle was heard, "Now that's how you wake her up."
Jade instantly recognized the voice of her mother, making her untangle herself from her blanket as she sat up, face and hair and the top part of her shirt soaked.
"What?" She grumbled as she stood up.
"We're going to take you out of school." Lin reminded her as Jade woke up fully.
"What about Saia? Who's going to watch her?" Jade asked.
"Relax. We're taking her along, but she'll be in that wrap Gran-Gran gave to me and will be covered with a blanket. She don't need the publicity around and trying to get a shot of her." Lin said, pointing to the wrap that went over one shoulder and wrapped around her body.
Jade peeked in, seeing Saia dressed in green pants, a white shirt, and white socks was tucked up against Lin's chest and was fast asleep.
"Get ready quickly and take a few boxes for your belongings. We'll be getting breakfast in the city," Lin said as her and Tenzin left.
Jade sighed, grabbing her towel and rushed into the bathroom, taking a quick shower and quickly dressed in black pants, a purple tank top, black sandals. She quickly combed her hair, pulling it into a side ponytail and rushed to the door, seeing Lin cover Saia and Tenzin pull on his cloak.
"Ready?" Tenzin asked as he opened the door for Lin as Jade pulled on a black jacket.
"Yeah, I'm ready."
A/N: Here's your new chapter. I hope you enjoyed it. Until next time.
