Author's Note: I made some time to get this out, since I hadn't updated you in such a long time. Enjoy! :)

Arielle sat on the hospital, her hands splayed on her thighs. Sam stood at the doorway. Both siblings watched the man in the wheelchair staring out the window. Bobby wore his signature cap along with a bathrobe. Movement caused Arielle's eyes to flicker to the door and she received an acknowledging nod from Dean. Her gaze went to the manila envelope in his hand and her eyebrow arched.

The boys muttered between themselves before Sam cleared his throat and proceeded in a normal tone. "What's in the envelope?" Dean opened it and pulled out an x-ray. Arielle rose from the bed, curious.

"Got some glamour shots," he stated as he handed it to Sam and pointed something out. Arielle stepped to his side, eyeing the x-ray as well.

"Holy crap," Sam muttered.

The ribs were covered with strange markings and Arielle's jaw dropped. Dean spoke up again. "Yeah, well, Cas carved you one, too."

"What the hell, guys? I leave you alone for a couple of hours and your ribs become etch-a-sketches for the yuppies with wings?" Arielle barked, snatching the x-ray from Sam and studying the scribbles closely. "The hell is this?"

"Enochian. It's protection from angels," Dean explained just as a phone rang.

Sam dug into his pocket, flipping open his phone. "Hello?" he greeted, after frowning at the number flashing on the screen. "… Castiel?"

"Speak of the devil," Dean sighed, taking the x-ray back and placing it in the envelope.

"Uh, St. Martin's Hospital. Why?" Sam asked, ignoring Dean's comment. "What are you – Cas?" The younger brother looked at the phone before flipping it close and giving Arielle a shrug.

Over the PA, a doctor was paged as a nurse and a man crossed each other in the hall. Arielle was about to ask what their next move would be when Castiel suddenly appeared beside her. "Shit!" she yelped, her hand instinctively going to her gun.

The angel looked at her strangely before his attention was drawn to her brother. "Cell phone, Cas? Really?" Dean asked, not in the least surprised by his appearance. "Since when do angels need to reach out and touch someone?"

"You're hidden from angels now – all angels," he said, emphasizing the last two words. "I won't be able to simply – "

"Enough foreplay," Bobby interrupted. The group of four turned to look over at the man. "Get over here and lay your damn hands on." The three siblings held their breath and Arielle couldn't help but sneak a peek at Castiel's reaction.

There was no change on the angel's face.

"Get healing," Bobby demanded. "Now."

"I can't."

Bobby slowly turned his chair around to face Castiel. "Say again?" Castiel walked up to Bobby, his eyes fixed on the man.

"I'm cut off from heaven and much of heaven's power," he said. "Certain things I can do. Certain things I can't."

"You're telling me," Bobby said, drawing out his words. "You lost your mojo just in time to get me stuck in this trap the rest of my life?"

Castiel's features showed no hint of sympathy. "I'm sorry."

"Shove it up your ass." With that, Bobby turned his wheelchair back around and placed his eyes back on the window.

Dean leaned over to Sam. "At least he's talking now," he said in a low voice.

"I heard that."

The oldest Winchester straightened up immediately. Arielle rubbed at her eyes, sighing deeply. Castiel came back to the trio, all business. "I don't have much time. We need to talk." Dean made a gesture for him to continue. "Your plan to kill Lucifer."

"Yeah. You want to help?" Dean asked.

"No. It's foolish," Castiel said dismissively, his eyes focused only between Sam and Dean. "It can't be done."

"Well don't strain yourself showing support, Castiel," Arielle mocked, rolling her eyes at the angel.

"I don't understand," Castiel responded, not bothering to face her. "But, I don't have time. I believe I have the solution, though," he continued, his eyes only on Sam and Dean. "There is someone besides Michael strong enough to take on Lucifer. Strong enough to stop the apocalypse."

"Who's that?" Sam questioned.

Castiel finally spared Arielle a glance. "The one who resurrected me and put you on that airplane. The one who began everything. God." At this, Arielle couldn't help but openly scoff at the angel. "I'm going to find God." Sam and Dean shared a look before Dean turned and closed the hospital door behind them, not wanting anyone to hear.

Dean cleared his throat. "God?"

"Yes," came the angel's simple reply.

"God," Dean repeated.

"Yes!" Castiel echoed. "He isn't in heaven. He has to be somewhere."

Arielle chimed in, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Try New Mexico. I hear he's on a tortilla."

The angel gave her a confused look. "No, he's not on any flatbread."

"Listen, Chuckles, even if there is a God," Dean continued, but not before giving Arielle a wink. "He is either dead – and that's the generous theory – "

"He is out there, Dean."

"Or he's up and kicking and doesn't give a rat's ass about any of us," Dean finished with a firm voice. He held up his arms, his eyes set on Castiel. "I mean, look around you, man. The world is in the toilet. We are literally at the end of days here, and he's off somewhere drinking booze out of a coconut. All right?"

Castiel glared at him. "Enough," he stated, taking a step towards Dean. "This is not a theological issue. It's strategic. With God's help, we can win."

Arielle shook her head. "It's a pipe dream, Castiel." The angel pivoted towards her now, his eyes blazing. The blonde was taken aback, but she stood her ground as Cas quickly closed the distance between them. Sam and Dean reached out to grab him, but Arielle lifted a hand to stop them.

"I killed two angels this week. My brothers," he said through clenched teeth. "I'm hunted. I rebelled." He turned his fiery eyes back to Dean. "And I did it, all of it, for you, and you failed. You and your brother destroyed the world." A pained look crossed Sam's face and he cast his eyes down. Arielle's hands clenched into fists at this. "And I lost everything, for nothing." Again, he turned to face Arielle. "So keep your opinions to yourself."

"Boo fuckin' hoo," Arielle hissed, sticking her face into Castiel's now. Her body shook with rage and she wanted nothing more than to slam her fist into his face. "You think you are the only one that lost something? You think we got it all peachy keen, rainbows and unicorns? Fuck you, Castiel," she spat, her own eyes now reflecting a deeper anger than the angel's. "All this shitstorm? It's on you and your psycho brothers. They are the ones eager to get this apocalypse going – they are the ones chasing after my brother to make him Michael's bitch. So you wanna blame someone? Blame them. Don't you dare, though, for a fuckin' second, pin this on us."

A metallic sound echoed throughout the room and the brothers quickly yanked Arielle away from Castiel. A bitter laugh escaped the blonde's lips when she saw the angel blade in his hand. "What, you wanna go?" she said, tearing her arms away from her brothers, who quickly secured her again.

"I don't think you came here to pick a fight," Bobby interrupted, snapping the whole group into the realization that he was still there. "What is it you want?"

Castiel looked down at the blade, and Arielle was surprised to see a look of embarrassment cross his face. "You're right. I simply came for one thing. An amulet," he said, putting the blade away. His blue eyes found Arielle's. She stopped struggling against the grip her brothers had her in, eyes widening when she saw the apologetic look the angel gave her.

Bobby frowned. "An amulet?" he repeated, turning his chair towards them again. "What kind?"

Sam released Arielle, but Dean kept a tight hold on her shoulder. "You cool?" he murmured into her ear. She gave a small nod, raising both hands to rub her temples. "That was stupid. Badass," he added, a slight smirk playing on the corner of his mouth. "But stupid."

"It burns hot in God's presence," Arielle caught Castiel saying. "It'll help me find him." Sam took a cautious step towards Castiel.

"A God EMF?" Castiel nodded as Bobby shook his head.

"Well, I don't know what you're talking about," Bobby sighed. "I got nothing like that."

Castiel gave him a look. "I know. You don't." The angel's blue eyes turned to Dean, then to Dean's chest. Arielle followed his stare to Dean's necklace. She raised a brow at Dean.

"What, this?" the oldest asked.

"May I borrow it?" Castiel asked.

"No."

The angel didn't hesitate to change tactic. "Dean. Give it to me."

Arielle tensed and turned to face Castiel, placing herself in front of her brother. Dean placed a hand on her shoulder again before taking off the amulet. "All right. I guess." Arielle didn't budge from her spot as Castiel approached them. Dean held out the amulet, but pulled it back before Castiel could grab it. "Don't lose it." The angel gave no acknowledgement and took the amulet. "Great. Now I feel naked," Dean whined, rubbing at his collarbone.

Castiel placed the amulet in his pocket. His eyes suddenly snapped up and he reached a hand out, placing it firmly on Arielle's chest. The blonde's eyes widened and her rage made her react before anyone could stop her.

The angel found himself on the floor, blood pouring from the side of his mouth from the blow Arielle landed. Shock and confusion were evident on his face. "You perverted son of a bitch!" she shrieked, ready to slam her boot into his crotch. Her brothers took no time to act. Dean jumped in, holding her around the waist and practically lifting her from the ground. Sam went to the angel's side, trying hard not to laugh as he helped him up. "I'm gonna rip off your damn wings!"

"Arielle! Calm down!" Dean said. Bobby, on the other hand, began laughing so hard, he almost fell out of the wheelchair. "Cas, you do not go around grabbing breasts, man!"

Castiel stood on shaky legs, his eyes fixed on the thrashing blonde before him. His sight was fixated on her red face. "I don't understand. I was simply going to engrave her with Enochian, like I did with you."

Sam bit his lip before answering. "Women, they're built differently, Cas," he said after clearing his throat. "There are certain areas you don't touch without consent first." The look of utter ignorance was enough to prove to Arielle that he had no ill will with his action and she stopped struggling, crossing her arms over her chest. Dean still held her, though, her feet hovering a couple of inches off the ground.

She muttered under her breath as Castiel approached her, fearfully this time. "May I?" he asked in a nervous tone, keeping a safe distance just in case. "If I don't engrave you, the angels will use you to track down Dean." Arielle growled and Castiel immediately backed off. Sam stood behind the angel, stifling his laughter. Bobby made no attempt to hide his.

"Fine," she spat, dropping her arms to the side. Castiel eyed her wearily, hesitating. "Hurry up before I change my mind and kick your ass!" The startled angel did what he was told, placing his hand on her chest. She gasped when she felt the tingle, fingers clenching. At the sight, Castiel jumped back immediately.

Arielle immediately placed her arms over her chest again. "I'll be in touch." The brothers snorted at the word choice and Arielle kicked Dean's shin. Castiel wasted no time in trying to understand what transpired and vanished. Sam finally joined in with Bobby's laughter and even Dean had a chuckle.

"Helluva right hook, Elle," Dean commented as he set the scowling blonde down. "Though I totally didn't deserve that kick."

"Damn right," Bobby laughed and wiped his eyes, calming down enough before turning his head to the ceiling. "When you find God, Castiel, tell him to send legs!"

Arielle slid her hoodie on, growling at the ceiling. "And ask for some damn common sense while you're at it, you perv."
