"Brother?! I didn't know he had a brother." Goku said. "And how the hell did you just shrink yourself?" One minute the enemy was some huge buff guy with a huge mask on, and the next he shrinks in size.

Cooler smirked to himself. "If you guys are surprise at that, then it's obvious your no real threat. This will be short. Before we get into any of that though I should tell you what my stupid brother wanted me to tell you." He said looking very sure of himself.

Goku made sure not to let his guard down around this cooler guy. He kept one eye on Chi-chi trying not to make it obvious to the enemy. He knew what would happen if he made it really obvious that Chi-chi was important to him.

Cooler made it clear that he didn't like his brother. Still, Goku figured that didn't mean he was on their side. "What would Frieza have to say to us?"

"He said something along the lines of 'Enjoy this vacation while it last. You'll be dead before you get a chance of leaving this island.' and 'I'm the best of blah blah blah'." Cooler answered. "I'm sure you've figured out I'm not here because of him though."

"If your not here because of Frieza, why then? We haven't done anything to you." Goku said. He already knew the answer to that though. From when he was younger, he knew that people didn't need a reason to hate you because there was some people who just love to hate.

"My brother obviously wants you dead, but I'm a little curious about you. He is an idiot for not seeing the great potential you have. With a little work it could be used for great things." Cooler proclaimed. Seeing that Goku had no idea what he was talking about he smirked. Still, he already said too much that could ruin his plans.

It'd be better If he gave Goku a little test to see if his theory was correct. "Let's see how you do against this." Cooler said.

Goku got in a battle stance, ready for Cooler to come towards him. He had no idea what Cooler was talking about, but usually when he hears people talking about death and murder so easily, he assumes they are more on the crazy side. Making sure Chi-chi was still okay too, Goku looked at the side of his eye, and seen that she was also prepared for anything that Cooler could be planning.

Cooler closed his eyes making his opponents feel tense. Goku could feel sweat forming as he tried to stay calm for any attack. Expecting Cooler to come towards him, he was completely stunned to see Cooler vanish right in front of him! He blinked twice making sure something wasn't wrong with his vision.

Making sure he wasn't going crazy he turned to Chi-chi to see her reaction. She was just as shocked as him. Suddenly she was looking towards him with wide eyes. He heard her say something like behind him, and he barely had time to jump out of the way before Cooler could hit him.

"That was something smaller of a sonic warp. The human term would be the afterimage technique. You use your speed to make it seem as if you disappeared and ended up somewhere else. As you can see it is a useful technique, but it's also one of the most basic ones." Cooler explained.

"Another basic move would be a ki blast." Cooler said. Taking a step back he faced a big rock near him. Raising his arm up he released a blast destroying the rock. Ignoring their shocked faces he continued.

Slowly he rose up off the ground. "The last of the basic moves would be flying. If you can't even do any of those basic moves then you have absolutely no chance against me. I have no interest on fighting people like that. They're not worth the time."

Goku could feel his muscles tense. He seemed to be getting in more tough situations lately. Still it didn't seem like Cooler wanted to fight them. Cooler did mention something about him joining them or something. "What's the point of explaining all of this to us?" Goku boldly asked.

"You, Goku. I'll let you and your group of friends off this island for now. During this time that I let you go, I will be expecting something from you Goku. Learn these moves and more. I will be keeping my tabs on you and once I think you're ready to face me, then I will reveal myself once again. After I see how far your training has come and if you've learned at least the basic moves I showed you, I will decide whether or not you're worthy enough to join me." Cooler stated. He looked Goku straight in the eyes to make sure he understood everything he just explained. It would not be wise for Goku to make him repeat himself.

This was obviously a lot for Goku to take in, but instead of dwelling on it, he decided it would be better to just accept it. "Fine. I'll find some way to learn all of that." Goku answered. He was desperate to make sure everyone of his friends made it safely off the island. Even if it meant agreeing to the impossible.

"Um, Cooler?" Chi-chi called out surprising the two men who had forgotten she was still there. As soon as she spoke she noticed that Goku was starting to look nervous again. She probably should have stayed invisible, but she had an important question in mind that she was sure Goku wasn't going to ask.

"If you want us all off of the island, perhaps you can help us then? The boat we came in is completely wrecked." Chi-chi mentioned.

There was a silent pause that made Goku and Chi-chi nervous. After a few seconds, Cooler finally spoke again. "Ah yes, the whole plan my brother set up for you guys. You do make a good point girl."

Chi-chi had to bite her tongue at that one. How many guys has she come across that just call her 'girl', or 'woman', or even 'Goku's woman'?! Was it a common thing for guys to avoid learning a girl's name?

"I've been keeping my eyes on you guys since you've arrived. Your friend with the blue hair has been working on the engine since the first day you guys landed. My servants have even mentioned seeing her in the middle of the night working on it." Cooler revealed. "Still, it would be better if you guys left as soon as possible."

"Salza!" Cooler called out. In just a few seconds a guy appeared, with his head bowed down, right next to Cooler.

"Yes my lord?" Salza said in his french accent.

"Accompany this two back to their boat and help them fix their engine." Cooler demanded.

Salza visibly tensed, but didn't talk back to Cooler. "Of course lord Cooler." He glared at Goku and Chi-chi, but still kept silent.

Cooler lifted himself off the ground again. "They don't know how to fly, so you will have to walk Salza. I expect that you will help them, so they are off the island by today."

"I understand lord Cooler." He answered back.

The walk back was awkward for Goku and Chi-chi. They walked in silence the whole time trying to ignore the heated glare behind then.

They were both surprised to learn that Bulma had been working on the boat all day long for at least two days. Although the shock didn't last long. After all they had experienced more shocking things today.

Finally reaching their camp they headed for an even tougher day ahead of them. The first person they ran into was luckily Krillin.

"Uh hey guys? I'm pretty sure that guy wasn't with us on the boat. Did you two just happen to stumble across a stranger in this deserted island?" Krillin joked.

"We'll explain later." Goku said. "Where is everyone else at?"

"Vegeta and Bulma just arrived a little while ago and said that they were going to explore the boat again. 18 is somewhere around here and the rest scattered around the island looking for something to do." Krillin answered.

"I was afraid of that." Goku commented. "It's bad enough having to explain this to Bulma, but Vegeta too? Do me a favor Krillin. Can you gather everyone else up, so I can explain our current situation?"

"No problem." Krillin replied. He was still a little suspicious of the sudden new guy, but figured the faster he gather everyone the faster it would be explained to him.

As Goku walked towards the boat he took this time to think some more. He had no idea how he was going to learn how to fly, run super fast, and release blast from his hands. He had never met anyone who had known how to do those kind of things. Or had he?

Somewhere in the back of his mind, he had a feeling that wasn't his first time seeing things like that. He was younger when it happened though, so he had a hard time remembering. There is one persons face who keeps popping up in his head. If he was right, then he had to consult Chi-chi about it when they had some privacy.

"...privacy?" Goku heard Chi-chi say. He wondered for a second if he had been talking out loud by accident. He was pretty sure that wasn't the case judging from Chi-chi's and Salza's expressions. Chi-chi looked flustered and Salza looked disgusted.

"Huh?" Goku said.

"I said, shouldn't we give them some privacy?" Chi-chi repeated. She pointed to who she was talking about.

Goku followed her direction and seen something he wished he hadn't seen. Vegeta and Bulma making out on the sand. He was about to turn around and go back to the island when suddenly his bangs got in his eyes for a second.

Seeing the blonde locks was enough to remind him of the payback he owed Vegeta. Embarrassing the hell out of him by letting him know 3 people just caught him seemed like the perfect thing. "Hey Vegeta, Bulma?" Goku yelled loud enough to announce his presence to the two of them. As soon as they heard him they quickly broke apart. "If you two are done, I need to talk to you."

"No- you don't understand! I was helping her-" Vegeta shouted. His face was a mix of embaressment, anger, and tongue tied.

"I rather not listen to anything you were helping her with. We have more important things to worry about right now." Goku said. "This guy is going to help Bulma fix the boat. And [not] the way you help her Vegeta."

"I- we were- wait. How did you know I was working on the boat?" Bulma asked.

"Long story. I'm sure Chi-chi will explain it to you. I'm going to go explain it to the rest of everyone else for now." He answered. Normally he would invite Vegeta with him, so he could make fun of his some more, but it would be better if Vegeta stayed here. He was sure if he asked him anyways, Vegeta would choose to stay here anyways. Leaving Chi-chi and Bulma alone with Salza would not be smart.

"Chi-chi, make sure Vegeta doesn't distract Bulma with any of his pathetic flirting skills. He would probably think talking about his fights was a form of flirting!" Goku yelled out as he started walking back to the camp.

Goku almost lost it when he didn't hear any yelling from Vegeta. Usually if he wasn't talking back it was because he was shocked, and if he was shocked with what he had said, that meant Goku was right about Vegeta's flirting skills. Goku allowed a few chuckles to escape him before he couldn't help, but burst in to complete laughter.

As soon as Goku arrived at the camp site, he seen that Krillin kept true to his word and gathered everyone. With some difficulty, he explained what had happened with Cooler. Goku was pretty sure his friends had thought he went crazy.

"So this Cooler guy, who happens to be Frieza's brother, was with us on this island the whole time? And when he showed himself to you and Chi-chi he started floating around and asked you to learn how to fly?" Yamcha asked slowly. "Goku, I don't mean to offend you, but maybe you ate something weird from the island that gave you hallucinations?"

"I know this is a lot to take in guys, but I'm completely serious. I was as shocked as you are when I seen it happening." Goku said.

"Why would Frieza's brother be out here on an abandon island by himself? I thought the family was loaded?" Krillin mentioned.

Goku faltered for a moment. "I'm not really sure... He wasn't by himself though. He had that guy that came with me here. They had some weird master and servant relationship. And I'm pretty sure if he wanted to leave off the island, he could anytime he wanted by just flying."

Most of the group still looked skeptical much to Goku's disappointment. He had no idea how to convince them he was telling the truth. If he wasn't there to see it himself he wasn't sure if he would even believe his own words. He thought about bringing Salza to show them, but he highly doubted Salza wanted to be doing him any favors.

"We already knew there was another guy on the island with us." Piccolo reminded. "Is it such a surprise that it happens to be Frieza's brother? That guy did plan for us to crash somewhere around this island. He probably did all of this near his brothers island, so in case if there was any survivors."

"It would be better if we trust Goku's words. We need to train knowing that, so we're more prepared in case that does turn out to be true. It's beneficial to know something that might be true, that to be caught off guard." Piccolo explained.

"I agree with Piccolo." Tien said. "Plus when's the last time Goku has lied to any of us?"

"It would be cool if Goku is right. I mean, not for us really since we're in a huge disadvantage now. It would be cool for us if all of ended up learning how to fly and stuff." Yamcha replied.

"Do you think we'll all be able to learn how to do this stuff Goku?" Krillin asked.

"I don't know Krillin. I guess if we all tried hard enough, it should be easy enough for us." Goku answered back.

"Just where exactly are you going to learn to do this? I don't think you're going to be able to find an elective that teaches you how to shoot energy out of your hands." 18 said bringing them back to reality.

Goku sighed running his hands through his hair. "I'm not sure. I'll figure out some way though. Let's just get off this island first, and we'll worry about that later."

"Speaking about getting off the island..." Chi-chi trailed off. She had just arrived to hear the end of the conversation. She wanted to make sure she had all of their attention since she was sent to give the important news. "The engine is fixed."

"Already?" Goku exclaimed. "It's only been about an hour?"

"Well Bulma already had a lot of it fixed. That plus her will to not be shown up by Salza made her work process faster. Now if you guys are finished talking, I'd like to get on the boat as soon as possible." Chi-chi said.

"You don't have to tell me twice!" Krillin said practically jumping in happiness. He rushed to the boat along with the rest of the group leaving Goku and Chi-chi behind.

"Never thought I'd here you say you want to get on a boat as soon as possible." Goku mentioned with a raised eyebrow.

"That's when I had the luxury to complain about an upset stomach." Chi-chi replied as she started walking back to the boat with Goku following right next to her.

"Sorry about that." Goku said scratching the back of his neck. "It's my fault you are stuck in this situation in the first place."

"Oh spare me the hero talk Goku. I know getting close to you might be putting me in a dangerous spot, but that's why I train and stuff. You don't have to worry about me too much. I can take care of myself... sometimes." Chi-chi added thinking back to the Broly incident.

Getting on to the boat they both stayed away from the group once they announced they were on, so they could take off already. Goku though it would be best to change the topic. He didn't want to think too much on what Chi-chi had said.

"How did Bulma and Vegeta take the news about the new information?" Goku asked.

"Well Bulma was a little shocked, but she got over it pretty fast. And Vegeta, well, he was surprisingly quiet throughout it all. I think you embarrassed him too much." Chi-chi said.

Goku wasn't totally convinced that was the reason why, but ignored it for right now. "By the way Chi, have you thought much about what Cooler showed us? Did any of it seem-"

"Familiar? Yeah. I feel like someone showed me something like that when I was a little girl." She answered.

"Me too. I just can't exactly remember who. It has to be someone we both knew when we were younger though." Goku explained.

"You were only at china for a short while. It had to have been someone you met during that time. It's the only one that makes sense because I never came to japan until this year." Chi-chi said.

Goku noticed Chi-chi's face was starting to turn green in color. "I'm sure your dad, or maybe even mine and grandpa will know something about it. You should go and try to knock out. It's still going to be awhile till we get back, and you don't have any pills to calm your stomach."

Chi-chi tried to smile, but it was quickly wiped off when she felt even more nauseas. With that she took off leaving Goku alone.

Everything happened, so fast, Goku didn't have much time to be shock from this new development. He was sure nothing would ever top what had happen today...

The whole group was standing at the edge of the boat as they seen the land coming nearer. Goku had gone and woken up Chi-chi 10 minutes before, so she could join them.

"I can't wait to get a nice hot bath again! My parents and sister are going to be relieved when they see me! They've probably been worried sick!" Bulma excitedly chatted.

"I can't wait to eat! I can probably eat more than Vegeta and Goku put together right now!" Krillin said making the others laugh.

Finally reaching the appropriate distance they stopped the boat and finally exited off of it.

"Yes! We really made it off the island! I'm so happy! I'm so-" Krillin shouted pausing his cheers when he realized something. "Wait a minute. No one knows we got back. How are we going to get to our houses? I don't even know how far away we are?!"

Goku looked around. Nothing looked familiar to him either. It was broad daylight, but there wasn't one person around them. There wasn't any houses or cars around either.

"If you guys want, you can get a ride from me?" Said a voice capturing everyone's attention.

Goku's eyes widen. "Raditz? How did- what are you even doing here?"

"Goku shut up!" Krillin said. "Let's just accept the ride and get the heck out of here. Though I'm not sure how your going to fit all of us? Not that I'm complaining! Heck, I'm pretty sure I can even fit in the trunk if you want!"

"As tempting as that is- it won't be necessary. I have two cars here. It still might be a tight squeeze though, so I might still take you up on that offer." Raditz said.

Krillin let out a couple of nervous chuckles. He knew Raditz was most likely being serious.

"Two cars?" Chi-chi questioned. "Is someone else here with you?"

"Well..." Raditz trailed off.

"Goku!" A woman yelled. She was running behind the group and stood up right next to Goku. She grabbed Goku's face and shoved it to her chest. "I came as soon as I hard you were missing!"

Chi-chi was shocked with the sudden actions of the woman.

Goku smelled perfume. The woman was petite with black hair. She was wearing an expensive suit too. She also shoved his face into her chest. There was only one person who fit the description.

"Mrs. Son!" Yamcha and Krillin and shouted. They were about to join in on the hug, but was stopped by both of Goku's hands.

"Err- hey mom." Goku said. He was wrong from before. This moment of shock definitely topped the other one.

Finally got it up! I was really busy lately, so that's why I was so late. I had most of this chapter planned out though so it was fairly easy to write. The only people who answered my question said to bring the powers in, so I did! Hopefully it doesn't show that this was a planned thing lol. Not only have I been behind on my homework, but I've also had to deal with my sisters party, crashing a car, and going to court (not for crashing the car lol). I feel like Lindsey Lohan D:! Bright side: I'm not on probation anymore! Also I just scratched the car when I was backing up, and it was my car lol I'll try to get the next one up faster this time. Hopefully we could get this updates back on Friday! /:
