Chapter 21

1 Month Anniversary

It was their one month anniversary today Derek woke up first got in the shower and then got dressed. He went to make some coffee and breakfast for his baby girl.

Once he had finished making them breakfast he put the breakfast and coffee on a tray and put it down. He went to get his present for her and put it down. He went in to the room to find Penelope waking up.

'Morning, baby girl' Derek said with a smile on his face.

'Morning Derek' she smiled back at him.

'Happy 1 month anniversary baby girl' Derek grinned at her as he put the tray down and leaned over to kiss her.

'Happy 1 month anniversary Derek' Penelope smiled back.

Derek passed Penelope her cup of coffee and she nodded her thanks.

'Here, I got you something' Derek smiled at Penelope nervously and handed her the gift.

Penelope got her gift and gave it to Derek, she blushed and he smiled and gave her a kiss.

Penelope opened her gift and smiled widely at her gift. She chuckled at the purple writing and said 'I didn't know you like to write in purple'. Derek laughed and teased back 'now you know something more about me'

Penelope leaned over and kissed Derek passionately. 'Thank you, I love it' she told Derek as she started reading what he wrote.

'Open yours, I hope you like it' Penelope smiled at him. He smiled back and replied 'of course I will love it baby girl', he started opening the gift she gave him. Penelope watched as he opened his present. He got a massive smile on his face. It was his favorite picture of him and his baby girl.

'Do you like it?' Penelope asked Derek not sure if he would like it.

'Baby girl I more than like it, I love it, its my favorite picture of us' Derek looked at her with love in his eyes and smiled, any worry Penelope had about the gift was gone. He leaned over and kissed her.

Penelope took a sip of her coffee.

After Derek and Penelope had breakfast in bed, Penelope had a shower and got dressed. Penelope and Derek went downstairs and sat on the sofa. 'What would you like to do today baby girl?' Derek asked Penelope.

Penelope smiled back and answered 'I don't mind, as long as I'm with you its perfect.' Derek smiled even more and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
