A/N-You guys probably thought I forgot all about you. Well I haven't just been going through stuff in my sorry it took like almost a year to update. Probably about 9 more chapters and this story will be done. My baby is leaving me. -Insert tear here.-

-Spencer's POV -

It was so nice of Ashley to get my door for me but than again it was just like her. Sitting there I glanced out the window and I saw Ashley say something to Lucas. Shaking my head I sighed still looking out the window finally Aiden got my attention by taking my hand in his. It was different from Ashley's much more bigger and manly. "So where are we going?"

"I would tell you but than I'll have to kill you." He said this with a smile on his face as he looked over at me and than back to the road. Normally that smile would make any girl swoon but not me.

The only smile to make me swoon had been Ashley's. "Alright well lucky for you I like surprises." Expect for when it came to certain things my father had done like forcing me to marry Aiden. I couldn't even believe what my father done still even after all this time.

"Oh I know you do Spence."

Rolling my eyes slightly it wasn't as attractive as Ashley calling me Spence. She was the only one who gets to call me that. Glancing out the window again I sighed. When we finally reached the destination valet opened the door for me, I stepped out and watched as Aiden handed him the car keys. Thanking him for getting my door.

"Don't scratch it." He stated as I watched him come over to me, feeling him take my hand again.

We are at some Italian restaurant but there was no one else there. "Aiden did you reserve this whole place?" I asked and looked around.

"I did as a matter of fact." He had a grin on his face and I just want to punch him. There was no reason to do this at all. "I thought maybe we could use the privacy."

I nod my head and throw on my best fake smile as I looked over at him. We got seated in the middle of the restaurant. He looked smug and all I wanted to do was slap him across the face. "Some red wine please." I told the waiter. I needed a drink.

-Paris, France. No One's POV -

Now she was worried, sitting there on the couch glancing around at the condo. "I have to go back."

"Go back where?" Marcel asked as he went over to Paula. He had been the man she would causal see whenever she was here.

"Back to Los Angeles. Something is wrong and I need to go back to my daughter."

"But I thought she was safe because your husband was dead?" He asked as he glanced over at Paula.

"She is but I just have to go back Marc I need you to understand this. I would stay if I could."

"Take me with you."

She could see the seriousness in his face he honestly wanted to return to America with her. Hell he was an American citizen he just left because Paula begged him to due to Arthur. But Arthur was gone now. "There is no reason for me to continue to stay here Paula. Take me back home."

She nodded her head going over to him now. "Of course I will." She felt his arms go around him and she leaned into him. She felt safe for once in her life.

"I'll have the private plane start to get ready for you and I." He stated as he held her against his chest. "I promise that I will keep you and your daughter safe."

Apart of Paula believed this but this was hard for her only because of the past and why he had left to begin with. She had to fake his death and bury an empty casket she wasn't about to bury one with a body in it. She couldn't. "We should get packing." She stated as she moved out of his arms.

-Back In LA. Across Town. No One's POV-

They were eating a hot dog and walking along the boardwalk. "So Ashley this wasn't exactly what I thought you meant by dinner." Lucas stated as he paid the guy for their hot dogs.

"Hey now you are the one who said this wasn't a date." She said this as they started walking, she joked with him they didn't seem to mind the hot dogs though.

"So you said that we needed to talk." He said this as he glanced over at her. He was the lets get down to business type of guy. He always had been.

"How long did you work for Mr. C?"

"Since my Freshmen year of college. Spencer was a Sophomore I believe." He stated as he looked down as they walked. "Why?"

"Where you big on the support of Mr. C's decision to force her to marry Aiden?"

"Not really. I've protected Spencer for a long time." He stopped walking and he watched Ashley do this as well. "What are you getting at Ashley?"

She went and sat down on a bench and watched as he sat down next to her. "I want to free Spencer from Aiden and I cannot do that on my own."
