Umbral: (snickers) Heh! Time to destroy Yuma!

Yuma: You wish! (both of them end up in a staring contest.

Astral: (sighs) Chapter starts now.

Chapter 21: Battle Royale Part 2

"Since there is two of you and one of me, I'll start!" Umbral volunteered. Yuma nodded, along with Astral. Before Umbral drew his sixth card to be added to his hand, the top card of his deck became a shade of pinkish red. Yuma gasped, along with Astral and Tori.

"No way!" gaped Yuma. "Barian Chaos Draw already?!" Umbral nodded.

"Indeed. Now, witness as I perform a Barian Chaos Draw!" shouted Umbral. He drew the card, then he sneered at the card he just drew. Then, he began to laugh. Yuma's eyes narrowed, then widened.

"What is it?" asked Yuma, concerned. Umbral kept laughed maniacally at the card he just drew. Astral turned and looked at Yuma.

"Be careful, Yuma." warned Astral. "We have no idea what this Barian Emperor's strategy is." Yuma nodded in agreement.

"Yeah." he agreed. Umbral snickered.

"Hah! Astral's advice can't save you Yuma, I activate Rank Up-Magic Psychic Chaos Force!" shouted Umbral. "With this card, I can summon 108: Sacred Mind from my Extra Deck, next, I rebuild the overlay network and XYZ Summon Number C108: Sacred Chaos Mind! I activate Psychic Chaos Force's effect from the graveyard, once per turn, during either players turn, I add 1 overlay unit to Sacred Chaos Mind, so Krebons, become an overlay unit for Sacred Chaos Mind." Yuma clenched his teeth.

"Great, now it has 2 overlay units." Astral turned to Yuma.

"Don't worry, Yuma, we will win this duel, one way or another." Astral said reassuringly. Yuma nodded.

"Thanks Astral." agreed Yuma. Umbral smirked.

"However, since I went first, I can't use the first effect of Sacred Chaos Mind, so I'll place 3 cards facedown and end my turn. Your move, Yuma." said Umbral. Yuma nodded.

"Alright, I draw!" cried out Yuma. Yuma smiled for what he just drew.

"I summon Gagaga Magician! Next, I summon Kagetokage from my hand. Now, I overlay these two monsters and XYZ Summon Number 39: Utopia! Now, I rebuild the overlay network with Rank 4 Utopia. Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution! Appear Number C39: Utopia Ray! I activate the spell Destiny Draw! This allows me draw 2 cards." Yuma raised his right hand, and it began to glow yellow. Umbral put his hands in front of his face.

"Ugh! What is that?" he asked stunned. Astral was just as shocked.

"Yuma!" shouted Astral. Yuma turned and smiled at Astral.

"Don't worry Astral. Now that I have the power of Shining Draw I can draw the very card that can assist us in winning this duel." Yuma said reassuringly. Astral nodded.

"You're right, Yuma." Astral agreed.

"Shining Draw?" Umbral asked. "I've heard about it."

"Well, now you get to see it live." said Yuma as he pulled the top two cards of his deck. He smiled at the result.

"I activate Rank Up-Magic Numeron Force! I rebuild the overlay network with Utopia Ray. Go, Shining Evolution! Appear Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory!" shouted Yuma. Umbral gritted his teeth, then he smiled.

"You can't attack first turn Yuma." Umbral said. "True. For now I'll place 2 cards facedown and end my turn. Go Astral." Yuma said.

"Very well. I draw!" Astral shouted. "I summon my own Gagaga Magician, next I summon Kagetokage. I overlay my 2 monsters and XYZ Summon Gagaga Cowboy in defense mode." Yuma nodded, satisfied. "I activate Gagaga Cowboy's effect. By detaching one overlay unit while it's in defense mode, you take 800 points of damage." explained Astral. Boom!

"Urgh!" groaned Umbral has his life points depleted from 8000 to 7200. "I place 2 cards facedown and end my turn. You're up, Umbral." said Astral. Yuma nodded.

"Good move, Astral." Yuma complimented. Astral nodded.

"Thanks Yuma." Astral agreed. Umbral was shaking in rage and terror. Both at the same time.

"I won't lose! I draw!" he shouted. He sneered at the card he just drew. "I activate the equip spell, Psychic Piercing Sword! With this card, my monster has the ability to inflict piercing damage, also if my monster would be destroyed, I can send my equip spell to the graveyard instead. Now, time to put my monsters' new power to use. Number C108: Sacred Chaos Mind, attack Astral's Gagaga Cowboy with Piercing Psychic Strike!" Slash!

"Urgh!" groaned Astral as his life points depleted from 2000 to 1100 and he flew backward all the way into the Barian Sphere Field and got shocked. Yuma turned and saw Astral fall to the ground, unconscious.

"Astral!" shouted Yuma, who ran to his friend's side. "You okay Astral?" he asked. Astral got up, shaken by the impact, otherwise fine.

"Yes, I'm okay." he said weakly. Yuma wasn't convinced. Astral shook the electric shock off him and he and Yuma walked by to face Umbral. Umbral was laughing at the sight.

"How pathetic!" he laughed. "I think Astral has more than enough pain for one turn, so I'll end it there. Go Yuma." Yuma looked back at Astral, who was struggling to stand. This will end now! thought Yuma as he drew his next card. To be continued...
