Stupid typos, I meant shine not shined. Anyways I hope you like this chapter, disclaimer, if I owned Pokémon I would've done this with the GS ball.
Ash hurried to the video phone and said, "Hey Kurt." Kurt still looked like he did the last time, grey hair and all only he had an orange shirt and blue shorts on but still his sandals.
Kurt smiled and replied, "Hey Ash, you'll never guess what happened. We tried scanning the inside of the GS ball and while we couldn't find out what exactly was in it we know it's a grass type. At the moment it's flying around trying to escape the house, can you believe it a pokeball flying!" Ash went wide-eyed,
he gasped, "No way! Wait why call me then?"
Kurt crossed his arms and explained, "The researchers around the world and I agree that a person with an undying love for Pokémon may cause the Pokémon in the GS ball to come out and past incidents have allowed us to determine that you're just the guy we need. Take the GS ball with you on your journey, don't worry about transportation Professor Birch is sending his Ralts over to your location. You're in Shalour City correct?" Ash nodded,
he smiled and said, "Ok it'll be in the Pokémon center in five minutes. Bye Ash." And he hung up, they decided to sit on a bench and waited, a small, humanoid Pokémon with a white body, wide legs and long green bangs that have two red horns appeared next to them.
Serena asked, "Is that a Ralts?" Ash nodded and replied, "Yep that's a Ralts."
Bonnie smiled and exclaimed, "It's so cute!" Hearing that Ralts smiled and handed Ash the GS ball,
Ash said, "Thanks Ralts, give Professor Birch our regards."
Bonnie turned to Clemont and asked, "Clemont, doesn't the GS ball seem a lot like the Pokeball in that bedtime story?"
Clemont turned to Bonnie and replied, "Yeah in a way."
Ash tilted his head and asked, "What bedtime story?"
Clemont pushed his glasses back up and explained, "It's this story about a Pokémon who trapped himself in a Pokeball, the story goes like this. Once upon a time about a hundred years ago there was a Pokémon who came to distrust humans so he fled to two legendary bird Pokémon. The bird Pokémon made an agreement with him, he could be trapped in a special Pokeball that was connected to his heart and could never be destroyed or rusted, he had to stay alive in it until a human could make his heart burn with unbridled joy. So he stayed in that Pokeball for the next fifty years, never ageing or dying, one day a human found it and thought it was a mere good luck charm. The human cared for it, polished it, kept it safe, went everywhere with it until one day the Pokemon's heart burned with unbridled joy which made the Pokeball burn to. He left the Pokeball and he and the human forever lived together."
Ash went wide-eyed and wondered, "I wonder, is that the same for this Pokémon?"
Serena smiled and replied, "Weirder things have happened Ash, remember that one incident with the Unknown? And all the times the world almost ended." Ash nodded in agreement,
he shrugged and stated, "Weird things have happened but hey we should get to the contest, it'll start in two hours." They ran next door an up the stone pathway and to a large, red colored, round building with a big screen that said in big rainbow letters Kalos appreciation Tournament! They hurried, registered, and parted with Ash for something important.
Half an hour later Professor Oak said, "Good luck my boy."
He smiled and replied, "Thanks, I'll do my best. Luckily these two can be found in Kalos, rarely maybe but still." And they ended the transmission, Ash hurried to the special training room and thought, I'll be the last one so while watching the others I'll be going over the routine with my Pokémon. Serena was the first up, she let out Fennekin and Pumpkaboo than took out a rainbow-colored hoop. She nodded to her Pokémon and held the hoop high in the air allowing Pumpkaboo to jump through it, than she tossed in high in the air prompting Fennekin to jump through to. She than got thirteen small green disks and threw them into the air prompting Fennekin to shoot them all down with just one Flamethrower. She than got some hurdles and sat them in a circle, she directed both her Pokémon to jump over them elegantly thus ending her act. Next was Shauna who painted a beautiful picture of Prism Tower, than Nando showed off his Scatterbug dancing to his music, than Barry showed a bunch of pictures of different Pokémon from Kalos but the pictures were a little blurry and weren't focused. Clemont was next, he sent out Dedenne, Diggersby, and Heliolisk,
he whispered, "Please listen to me Heliolisk, even if just for this event." Heliolisk looked like he was ready to attack Clemont but then he looked around and decided not to attack, yet. Diggersby began digging tunnels that Dedenne ran through, he made holes everywhere and when they got out of it Heliolisk shot a Thunderbolt into one of the holes causing the attack to exit all the others which was beautiful and made everyone go wild! Next up was Tierno, he sent out a Corphish, which looked like a red and white crab, and Talonflame which is a large hawk-like bird with a grey belly with orange spots. Its back is a red-orange color with black wings. Corphish jumped on Talonflame's back and used Sword Dance which involved its claws glowing dark purple and dancing on Talonflame's back while Tierno juggled small, yellow rubber balls in the air. Bonnie came out next and her act consisted of riding on Skidoo, holding her arms out and letting Dedenne run on her arms. Trevor was next, he looked nervous and was even shaking a little. Trevor took in a deep breath and let out two Pokémon, one was an Aerodactyl which had a grey body and purple wings, and Flabebe which had a green lower body with a single leg and white upper body with two thin arms. It had a white head, heart like ears, a pointed nose, red cheeks, black eyes and a yellow circle of hair. Trevor turned to Aerodactyl and nervously got on it, his palms were sweaty and he was shaking, Flabebe began unleashing a pink wind while Aerodactyl flew into the air.
Trevor, who had his eyes closed, whispered, "Don't fall, don't fall, don't fall!" Trevor opened his eyes and gasped, he froze the moment he realized he was on a large carnivorous Pokémon that was taking him into the air and at that moment he completely forgot that it was his Pokémon and thus wouldn't hurt him and fainted causing him to fall off.
Aerodactyl caught him and when they landed he woke up and whispered, "Sorry Aerodactyl." Aerodactyl just smiled and licked him,
Trevor got off him and laughed weakly, "That was part of the show but something minor went wrong." Trevor than passed out as the others, Ash included came running to him.
Ok just a little note Trevor isn't afraid of all Pokémon just scary ones and is trying trying to get over that fear, I tried to make the usual theme interesting but it's hard you know, as for why he's scared I'll give you a hint, Drew's hometown. Until next time!
